Before reading forward be mindful I spoil major things from the game...
9: Kuja manages to survive via time magic and is found in Alexandria some time after the events by the child born between Garnet and Zidane; when his half conscious body is brought to the castle Zidane and Garnet instantly recognize him and he is quickly cared for; afterwards an estranged relation starts between him and the boy who is technically his nephew; can involve other canon or o.c chars based in 9‘s world. Garnets kid would have inherited her summoning powers; could have a ‘cousin’ through Eiko in some form since the timeline for this isn’t set in stone it could be 20 or so years from the ending.
Expanding this idea cause my mind’s been going crazy.
Post Final Fantasy 9; Garnet and Zidane now rule Alexandria; having moved the Genome into the city. With their help; and Lindblum, Burmecia has once again been remade and the three countries of the ‘mist’ continent have garnered a long awaited peace. By now the pair have raised a son (between 15 and 18) who has inherited his fathers tail and mothers horn. Able to summon and comune with them he has found a shard of what was once Alexander and slowly has started to raise the eidolen. Meanwhile in Lindblum Eiko’s persistence led to the adoption of a baby brother (whom could be made as seen fit) who has now hit sexual maturity (15-25 depending on what age you want to say he was adopted) likewise Prince Puck in Burmicia has grown; and O.c from the various races and such can be used.
However, everything goes south one day when dark clouds loom revealing that the malice from the fallen Tera has crossed the rift of their worlds and now seeks to overcome it with darkness. As if the crystal had seen this coming; one thought dead appears washed ashore in Alexandria. Kuja; rushed to the castle he is cared for and questions his own survival and reasons to live. In the darkness that seeks to destroy the world will he loose himself or will the various males he is bound to meet (starting with the young prince) help him find his own light, that he may help dispell the darkness. (may drag in stuff like Garland surviving or even Necron or new stuff. )
The characters would fit how the game worked. Kuja being a mage (mix of black and white) some being warrior classes, Puck likely following Freya’s style of fighting; Alexadria’s prince being a summoner with some subclass of whomever p.c’s him’s picking. O.Cs could be villians or party members; the story doesn’t have to be a ‘happy’ one the whole ‘good’ party could easily end up pets for the bad guys or vis versa.
Would like a good mix of plot and smut, and it leaves potential for group or open rp if more than one person shows interest. Definitely multiple characters per plays whether onexone or not. Lets see.
