A Twisted Reality(KaryxDuch)

She was a bit taken back by his forwardness, she didn't say anything at first before she moved closer to him and stared at him in the eyes " well aren't you nice all of the sudden" she rolled her eyes and walked away from him and ploppped on her bed and cuddled the pillow warmly her butt in the air and her tail waving slightly behind her.

Karyama merely shrugged to her reply. "Eh..thought I would give it a shot..Guess I'm not too at being nice.." His once evident smile, had faded into a mask of the emotionless nature. He moved to his bed and sat down, removing his boots, he kept everything else on, he had no problems sleeping in a full set of clothing. He then lifted his legs and laid back on the bed, his hands placed behind his head and his muscles relaxing, his eyes closing slowly.

She opened her eyes and looked back at him to see him on his bed, she smirked slightly and quietly crawled to the end of her bed and grabbed his boots and quietly lifted them and pushed them under his bed quietly not even making a sound, she sat up on her butt and crossed her legs her tail curling around her as she sat there with her eyes closed her back to him, she had sexual thoughts but they weren't towards him...now anyway

Hadn't completely fallen asleep, but at the same time, he didn't become alert to her moving his boots under the bed, seeing as she had done it soundlessly. His eyes were closed, his chest rising and falling slowly as he breathed, his hands placed behind his head, due to the fact he found it the most comfortable that way, and he didn't use the covers, he was in a full set of clothing, what did he need covers for unless it was freezing outside? A few strands of his white hair had fallen over his face, giving him the look as if he had passed out, and soon he would be.

She wasn't tired in the least bit, so she waited a little while before she removed her own boots and walked over to his bed and leaned over him, she watched him sleep for a while, he was handsome why not flirt with him a bit, but that would mean she would have a weak spot and she couldn't have that, she shook her head her hair falling around her face slightly, she gently moved a strand of hair out of his face then backed off and started to walk to her bed.

Was fast asleep when she had decided to make her move, though as she reached down to touch his hair, she would have felt a small static energy, perhaps causing her finger to feel tingly. Once contact was made, she would feel a small shock of static energy enter her hand, though only with enough force to perhaps cause the finger to go numb. It was obvious he had set in place a defense spell. She had barely touched him, so she just got a little zap, but if someone were to lay hands on him, the damage could easily be far worse. He moved his arms from behind his head, sliding one of his arms under the pillow and rolling on his side, providing support for his neck.

She jumped back slightly trying to get the feeling back in her finger, after a while she was thankful it did she looked at him roll over and decided to leave him alone, she climbed back to her bed and layed down seeing how it was hot she didn't use the blankets ether just layed on her stomach and sprawled her legs straight out and wrapped her arms around the pillow and layed down slowly falling asleep flexing her finger untill she did fall asleep.

A short time later, Karyama stirred, sitting up in his bed, and the barrier visibly vanishing from his form. He sighed to himself quietly, as not to awaken the female. He had trouble sleeping, as he did many nights, images flashing through his head liked to prevent him from doing so. His eyes closed, propping his elbow up on his leg as he sat at the edge of the bed, his forehead in his palm. After a moment, he laid back down, closing his eyes and trying to sleep, and when he finally did, it was obvious the barrier wasn't placed.

She slept till morning and woke up before the sun rose, she sat up and wiped her eyes slightly yawning and running her fingers through her hair, she looked around the room and saw him still asleep, she was an early riser, she got up and walked back over to him and hesitated to touch him again, she touched his hair gently again and didn't feel the shock, she felt stupid and didn't know why she was doing this, she shook it off and pulled her hand away maybe a bit to roughly cause she touched his fore head to where it might wake him, she walked away from him and looked out the window, she opened it and jumped up and sat on the seel and watched the sun set dangling her feet off the edge.

Stirred when she had touched his forehead, but by the time he had actually awoken, she had already walked away and headed toward the window sill. His bright blue hues opened, glancing around as he sat up, he was a pretty early riser himself. He sighed and looked around on the floor for his boots, arching an eyebrow when he couldn't find them. He looked at her bed, noticing her's were under her bed, so he reached under his own and felt them, pulling them out, he looked up at her. "Sleep well?.."

Ehh" was all she said as she sat there watching the sun " fine i guess" she said after a while and leaned against the window frame and yawned slightly " how about you" she continued to flex her finger still the tingling was still there, she didn't say anything else but did turn on her but and propped her feet up letting her tail fall to where the end was on the floor moving slightly as she watched the sunset and the shadows of the undead walkign around on the outside walls.

Shrugging his shoulders, he looked at her back before he slipped on his boots slowly. "Using magic tires me out..And most of the time I have trouble sleeping.." He closed his eyes and put on his left boot first. "So I guess it wasn't any worse than the usual.." He stood, once had put on his right boot. "Well I am headed out for a little bit..I'll be back sometime later.." His muscles tensed before he moved toward the door, making sure he had his key, the walking out, locking the door behind him so she could have her privacy, for it wouldn't be the first time someone walked into someone else's room for one reason or another.

She listened to him walk out and waved back at him, she turned her head seeing he was gone and yawned slightly, she wasn't going to follow or say anything more till he got back which she wouldn't be here, she would be in the training arena, she woke up and pulled her boots on along with her coat, she grabbed her sword and walked out locking the door behind her taking her key with her, she moved smootly down the steps and headed for the arena wanting to warm up before others came.

Returned later that afternoon, he had suffered a wound or two from the shadowed creatures, nothing to really be worried about, but it did sting like hell. He griped his arm, his sleeve was pulled out, and he held one end of a bandage in his mouth, and the other he had slowly wrapped it around the wound, he grunted in pain as he tightened the bandage, his muscles tensing. The cut was on his forearm, near that of his wrist, so he was somewhat lucky to be alive. "Sneaky fuckers.." He noticed she wasn't there, but then again, she was a grown woman, she could come and go as she pleased.

After about an hour of him being back she came up pulling her sword off her back and carring it in she saw blood drop leading to her room, she blinked slightly and walked a bit faster and poking her head in the room seeing his arm, she placed her sword down on her bed and walked up next to him touching the bandage slightly and looking at him " what happened" she said in a low tone before backing off him and moving around to her bag to grab some medical supplies, she pulle dout her box and made him sit down as she sat next to him opening the box and trying to remove the make shift bandage.

Arched an eyebrow as the female came in, and actually showed some sort of caring as she moved to get various things to help his wound. Laughing softly, he couldn't help but smile as he looked up at her. "Don't worry about it..I am fine..I just need to stop the bleeding.." He sighed once more, feeling her take off the bandage anyways. "I was blind-sighted by one of those shadowy bastards..He only got one cut on me..so Its no big deal.." He smiled as she began to work on it. "Well thank you for the concern, and the help.."

She looked at him and shook her head " im only trying to keep you from dropping blood all over the place, you know how much that drives them wild, and this doesn't need to get infected" she was telling the truth, but she did really want to help in anyway she could, she stitched him up easily and placed a bandage over it and got up gathering her things together and walking away from him, she yawned slightly and went back to the window frame taking her sword and a sharpening stone and began to sharpen her blade as she sat there watching everyone pass by with out a word.

Winced only slightly as he felt her stitching up his arm, his muscles tensing once more as she had sewn his skin back together. "Oh alright then..Yeah I would hate to be bleeding everywhere.." He watched as she moved back to the window. Slowly he would have stood, moving closer to her, he moved his arms around her and hugged her. "Thank you for your help anyways.." He sighed, he was a little tired, due to the blood loss, so he returned to sit down on his bed, laying back to allow himself time to relax. "I never asked you...Whats your name?.."

She tensed up when he hugged her, she wasn't expecting that in the least bit, she bit her lips slightly and and looked back at him and patting his arm hesitantly, she watched him lay on his bed and asked her what her name was, she hadn't told anyone but she smiled lightly and turned her back to him and continued to sharpen her blade before speaking "Alayna" she said back to him and continued to sharpen her blade slowly turning her ears back a bit to listen to him easily.

Smiled and nodded once he had heard her name, his bright blue hues looking her over before he closed them. "Pretty name..I am Karyama.." He smiled once more, his muscles relaxing, sighing to himself. "You know..your a pretty woman for being such a cold heart.." His bright colored hues opened once more, watching her sharpen her blade. He was relaxing, though he was thinking of getting something to eat, perhaps he would invite her along.

This made her blush horribly, she kept her back to him and had stopped sharpening her sword while she listened to him, she curled her toes and took her sword and placed it in its sheath before jumping down and walking away from the building thankfully she had her shoes on still, she placed her sword on her back and walked to try and clear her mind, was he flirting with her, she growled slightly shaking her head, she needed to punch someone or something, yes she had some feelings for him even tho she didn't know anything about him except his name, nut she couldn't feel these feelings it was a sign of weakness to her anyway, she looked back at the building she just came from and sighed softly heading to the resturant to get herself somting to eat.

Arched an eyebrow as she had stopped sharpening her sword, he hadn't seen her blush, due to the fact that her back was to him. He looked up toward her a moment before she had jumped from the window. "Well then..Didn't mean to scare her off.." He sighed to himself, his eyes closing as he laid back. After a moment, he got up and headed downstairs to the tavern once more, he could use a drink.

She stayed out of his site for a while but came back at night, she jumped up to the window and climbed in slowly looking around as she did, she placed her sword down and walked to her bed and pulling her boots off and pushing them under the bed, she yawned and layed back on the bed and closing her eyes slowly to try and fall asleep, or at least act like she was asleep if he came in.

Returned around midnight. he was tipsy, but he stayed quiet as he entered, she looked like she was sleeping, so he took off his boots silently before he laid back and closed his eyes, the energy field he usually had on him wasn't there, he had deduced her to be rather harmless, no matter how she tried to act. With a sigh as he had passed out almost instantly.

She stayed asleep till she heard a few screams coiming fromt he open window, she bolted up right and blinked looking out the window and running to it looking around, she gasped softly seeing a few of the undead getting ahold of the people, she grabbed her boots and pulled them on and slung her sword around her shoulders and looked to him, she shook eher head and went up beside him pushing him off the bed to wake him up " get up something is wrong" she then moved to the window jumping out of it to help.
