History:
Ana had always lived in Wonderland, growing up on the 'red' side of the chessboard. Despite being of opposing sides, white and red lived peacefully. They knew that one needed the other if they were to co-exist. It was a need that had always gone unquestioned. As she grew, Ana felt that 'red' could surpass 'white' if they only bothered to try, but none would listen, wanting to keep the peace. She sought council with the Queen of Hearts—ruler of Wonderland—but was dismissed as a nuisance. Over time, she learned of a new power that was approaching Wonderland and wondered if an attempt to harness it would gain 'red' the upper hand she knew they deserved. This power was known as the Jabberwock. She went on a quest to find him, deciding that since she was abandoned by all—red, white, Queen of Hearts—if the Jabberwock could help her gain power that she'd seek it for herself and overthrow the Queen of Hearts entirely, placing the whole chessboard under her rule along with all of Wonderland. She would force her people to swear allegiance, especially the White Queen. She would show them all that 'red' could surpass everything...and not just 'red', but her.

History:
Bella had always lived in Wonderland, growing up on the 'white' side of the chessboard. Despite being of opposing sides, white and red lived peacefully. They knew that one needed the other if they were to co-exist. It was a need that had always gone unquestioned. As she grew, she learned to love her people and embrace the 'red'. She hoped that their bond could only grow stronger and it was her love of her own people and compassion for the 'reds' that granted her the eventual position of White Queen. As queen, she watched the 'reds' carefully, saddened by how there was chaos brewing among them. She reached out to one in particular—Ana. But the 'red' girl wanted nothing to do with her, instead seeking council with the Queen of Hearts. Eventually, Ana disappeared, the action unsettling Bella greatly. She'd heard of a great power approaching Wonderland—one that was deadly and unmatched. The Jabberwock. Fearing the worst, she rallied up her people, trying to give them hope and readying them for what might be coming. But she knew it wouldn't come close to what could actually transpire. Eventually, Bella had a dream—a vision. In it, there was a hero who wielded the Vorpol Blade and with it was able to restore peace back to Wonderland. This vision gave her hope. Only...where was the Vorpol Blade? The last time she'd seen it, the child Alice had found it, using it to kill a bandersnatch in the Tulgey Wood. But where was it now? That...remained to be seen.

History:
Lizzie was born to be queen. Her entire life she was groomed for the moment when she'd take the throne of Wonderland and reign as the lawful ruler of the realm. She didn't see much of her parents, but she studied under many tutors and was allowed to wander the lands in order to gain an understanding of how the world worked. She loved Wonderland and was anxious to rule. One day, she received word that it was time to step up, that there was to be a coronation ceremony and she'd be announced queen. With pride, she accepted and took on the responsibility. Many were jealous of the power she held while others admired her strength and courage Ruling was exhausting and took its toll on her mind, her body. Over the years, she found herself going mad, getting needlessly angry at request that seemed pointless or seemingly stupid. A time or two, in her fury, she'd demand execution of those who wasted her time. But her advisors always calmed her, setting things right. It was her nerves and she knew it. But knowing never stopped the anxiety. Nor did her tantrums end the long lists of demands that she knew she couldn't fulfill or were a waste of everyone's time. One such demand was by a 'red' named Ana. Without much thought, she dismissed the girl, demanding she go back to her chessboard home. She had too many things to do, too many obligations! But she never forgot that look of anger and contempt on the 'red' girl's face.

History:
Dee grew up in Wonderland, though her memory is a bit spotty. A lot of her body is augmented with cybernetic implants, making her a cyborg. She has a twin brother and dislikes being separated from him and gets agitated when he's not nearby. He is the one person she trusts above all others, to the point that he is the only man allowed to touch her intimately. Since becoming cyborg, she has found great pleasure in the little things in life such as the sweet smell of flowers and the delicious taste of cookies.

Personality: Intelligent, conniving, stubborn, non-trusting, attention-seeking, feisty.

History:
Courtney—a thief and a junkie—grew up in the slums of America. Eager to get out and make it in life, she joined a traveling carnival of freaks that came through her area. The troupe had been decently received though the entertainers themselves were feared due to their oddities both in looks and demeanor. However, desperate to earn decent wages (and afford her drugs), have a chance to see the world and find a means to get away from where she was, she swallowed down her fear and took a chance on approaching the leader of the carnival troupe. She was taken in by the leader, allowed to train and become a part of the show...the stipulation being that she to be ready not by the next location they arrived at, but the following. Her job was to train to become an acrobatic contortionist since she showed some skill due to being a thief. She had troubles getting along with some of the troupe members, her personality and humor clashing with several not to mention more than a few were suspicious of her drug problem. Despite social troubles, her training was faring well, however she never got a chance to perform for the carnival. During one of her drug-induced hallucinations, she meandered out away from the rest of the troupe and came across a rabbit hole. It looked large so she peeked inside and fell down it, plummeting down until she landed in the Courtyard of Hearts. There, she was surrounded by card soldiers and taken before Queen of Hearts. When she showed the queen her skills, she made her the courtly jester though Courtney seethed at this role, feeling it was more of a clown than a proper acrobat. However, having no connections and feeling alone, she played her role...just hoping a time would come when she could rise up and become the woman she knows she's meant to be.
