It's been a while since I've role played, so I'm trying to ease back into
it. Here are some simple concepts that I'd be interested in, though I'm
not opposed to new ideas. I'll add more as/if they come to me. Oh,
and I can often post multiple times a day, with the exception of
Mondays and Tuesdays, on which, I won't have a decent computer for
typing anything out.
Apocalyptic: Takes place days/weeks/months into a viral
outbreak/global power outage/terrorist organized state of chaos/etc.
Post-Apocalyptic: Years after a global event (nuclear war, zombie
apocalypse, alien occupation, etc.) everyone is trying to stay alive on
what little resources they can scrounge up.
Fantasy-Medieval: Low tech, gritty realism, magic optional. Extremely
flexible. I'd rather avoid any kind of "all powerful X" or "damsel/dude
in distress" scenario.
Modern Realistic: This is fairly universal; any modern scenario/story
that could realistically develop between two normal people.Teacher x
Student, Sargent x Private, Musician x Groupie/Band Member, etc. all
fall into this category.
Modern Imaginative: I'm luke warm on this at best. These are the
types of modern situations that stretch the bounds of normality.
Master x Slave, Serial Killer x Victim, Mr. President x Fast Food
Worker, and others would all belong here. While these can be some of
the most interesting stories if done with aplomb, they can also
become an unentertaining trudge if done poorly.
Rape: This gets it's own category because, while I love role
playing rape in the bedroom, I haven't written it in quite a while, so
I'd rather wait for a bit before jumping into it.
