She nodded and stood up. "I'll look forward to seeing you then," she told him with a smile before leaving the room then the whole building. She had to get out of there quickly so she could get back to her apartment in time for her to finish her song.

Brian nodded and watched her leave. Once she was gone, he went right back to work. The first thing he did was phone and cancel the llama. He knew that Alexa would change her mind, and if she didn't, he could talk her out of it. A llama back stage was a very bad idea. He started working on a few other things. A lot of it was just checking on progress. It was yet another long day of working where he got home late, ate a simple meal, and went right to bed.

Alexa finished working on her song and went out to dinner with a few of her friends. When she finally got back, it was pretty late but luckily for her, work the next day would be simple. It was just the beginning of rehearsals of the songs she already knew. It wouldn't be hard at all.

The next morning, Brian woke and got ready for an easier day. After eating breakfast, he drove down to the label's rehearsal location. He opened it up and went through, making sure everything was set up for Alexa. He worked with a few others who had arrived early to make sure it was also set up to do some recording for play back. Once it was all ready, he sat in the main office and continued doing other work while waiting for everyone to arrive.

Alexa came into the studio early, followed by her manager, and started towards the elevator up to the recording studio. She seemed to be arguing with him about something, seeming like it was just a simple, slightly unimportant one.

Brian looked out the window as he saw the elevator open. He watched Alexa and her manager exit and go toward the recoding studio. They were arguing. He sighed. He would need to get rid of the manager for the day until he could convince Alexa to get rid of them permanently. She needed a different manager and he knew many people who could do the job. He decided to give the manager a job later, he got back to his work, waiting for everyone to arrive.

A few other people came in, drizzling like a slow rain, chatting about whatever they had on their minds. Within an hour, everyone that had something to do with the tour or Alexa was there and everything was ready. A few of the dancers were warming up while Alexa was against the wall, standing on her hands with her eyes closed.

Brian was busy working when he heard a buzzing noise come from his phone followed by someone telling him that everyone was there. He was not in charge of the rehearsal, but wanted to know that everything was on schedule. He finished what he was doing and then left the office. He went to where everyone was gathered and found Alexa's manager. He pulled them aside and started explainined a job that he had for them. He gave them a bunch of files and told them that he needed a decision by the end of the day on numerous issues. What he didn't tell them was that he intended to just throw away their decisions since the real decisions had already been made by Alexa.

With a nod, he took the files and moved to a side room to look though them while everything else was happening. A few of the dancers looked around, smiling and waving at Brian. Although they had no idea who he was, they already seemed to like him. Alexa though, was still in her odd position against the wall as she thought.

Brian was glad to get the manager out of the way. He started to go around meeting people. He waved and smiled at everyone. He went and finally found Alexa. He really didn't want to talk to her for long, but he needed to make sure things were going well for her. He found her upsidedown against the wall. He stood, waiting for her to be finished.

Alexa opened her right eye and smiled. "Morning," she greeted him and tipped her body to the side, letting herself return to the proper way. "How are you today?"

Brian nodded and watched her right herself. He sighed and looked to make sure her manager was still gone. He smiled and looked back at Alexa. "Good morning Alexa. I got your manager busy with some fake work so they should be out of your hair for today. Just do what you do and I'll listen in and watch some of it, but for the most part I will be busy working. This is your show. Do whatever you need to do. If you need something, come get me in the office, or send someone to get me."

She stood up and nodded. "Thank you for sending him away," she thanked him happily. "I'll be sure to contact you if I need anything." She then started away from the wall and over towards some of the dancers, who by now had finished warming up and were about ready to begin.

Brian smiled and nodded. When she went to get thigns started, he turned and walked quickly to the office where he got to work again. As long as he was away from her, he would be fine. He didn't really want to be out there listening to her music and watching the dancing. It would just dissapoint him.

After an hour or so of the same peppy music, they all took a break. Many of the dancers left the studio for lunch or whatever sort of break activities they had to take while Alexa remained inside. She quickly spoke to one of the people that was in charge of keeping track of the dancers and she nodded before turning away and shooing most of the left overs out. Alexa was then left in the recording room alone and she softly signed. It was her turn to practice privately while they all were off smoking or whatever. She always loved this time the best.

Picking up an extra guitar, she took her place on a stool and began to strum a few soft, calm chords just to start it all off. It sounded much different from her normal sound and didn't seem like it would change any time soon.

Brian worked hard for the hour of practicing that went on. He never once left the office. After the hour he decided to go get himself something to eat. He finished his last phone call for the morning and put down the reciever. He got up and left the office. He started to make his way along the halls. He heard some music playing softly. He peeked around a corner and saw Alexa. The music did not sound like one of her normal songs.

He left the building while thinking about what he had just heard. Chances were that it would not stay that way. He kenw what her music was like. That song would change a lot until it sounded more like the others. He sighed. Why did she have to play such bad music? She was ruining perfectly good songs like the one she had just been playing. He tried to forget about it and just focused on getting his lunch.

He ate quickly and returned to the office, continuing his work. He avoided leaving to see Alexa. With her manager busy, she could handle herself out there.

The music had stopped by the time Brian had come back and Alexa was talking to one of the dancers. The girl was going on about some new fashion line while Alexa seemed to be on a different wave length from that. It was hard to tell what it was, but it wasn't the same as the preppy, rather frightening girl.

Brian continued working for a while longer until he got some news that was fairly exciting. He got up and left the office. He went over to Alexa with a smile. While he was not happy to be stuck working on the project, he liked results. He called out, "Hey everyone. Listen up for a moment." He then spoke directly to Alexa. "I have some really good news for you Alexa. The tickets to your first show went on sale at the box office and online. The online tickets were sold out in five minutes. The box office had a line around the block and sold out those tickets as fast as the line could go through. The stadium is going to be packed. This is very good news. Your tour is going to be a smash hit!"

Alexa's eyes grew in fear and excitement. "Are you kidding me!?" she shouted and quickly covered her mouth. "No way!"

All around the room, people began to rapidly congratulate each other, cheering happily as Alexa remained there, slightly stunned.

Brian enjoyed seeing the surprise that his announcement had caused. He smiled and nodded to her. "It is true. Completely sold out as fast as the tickets could be sold. They are predicting that for every single one of your shows. A lot of people are going to be there to see you and hear your music." He grinned. She seemed really surprised by it and that was what he had been going for.

She slowly paled before her color came back and she nodded. "Alright, then," she said and turned towards everyone else in the room. "You know what we have to do then, right? We gotta give them a show to remember!" The cheering began again, but much louder this time. As they kept cheering though, Alexa walked towards Brian. "How many shows do we have there?" she asked him, trying to be soft but yet still heard.

Brian smiled and nodded at all the cheering. When she asked how many shows they had there he held up a single finger. He leaned in close since what he said next was still secret. "Only one show there, but a few shows and appearances. We got the ones you wanted. Everyone seemed to want to book you. Everything is set." He smiled and stepped back. "Well, I'll leave you to celebrate and rehearse. Good luck everyone." He turned and returned to the office with a sigh. He didn't know what people saw or enjoyed in her music or performances.

Alexa smiled and nodded. "Thank you so much, Brian," she told him as he walked off, sending a small wave after him before turning back, allowing the practice to continue.

Brian got back in the office and sighed. That had been interesting. He got back to work and started doing checks on everything for the second city on the list. Tickets would not be on sale yet, but preparations could be made and plans finalized. The first city was completely set up. The tour was really starting to shape up. Brian had to keep reminding himself of what waited for him once this tour was over. He could do almost anything once he got through with it. All he had to do was survive it and make it good.

The practice continued like any normal one would, including smaller breaks, until it came to be around 6:30. People then began to picking up their things and finally say good bye. They had to be back the next day and they actually wanted to get home in time to have a good rest before another practice. It was basic, but everyone was working hard that day and the whole group got past where they had originally planned. They all seemed to be happy with themselves as they left.

Alexa stayed behind after everyone left and smoothly leaned down, doing a basic stretch as she touched the floor with her finger tips. She was tired and hungry. And for real food, not the stuff her manager made her eat. Low fat must be a long version of the word crap. She sighed as she stood back up and tugged her shirt down before she wandered over, grabbed her hoodie and bag.
