The Evil, Awesome Nurse (Atzura and Josu_T)

Tai smiled when he spotted Lisa in one of the rooms. She was still alive, which was a good thing. He entered the room slowly, his eyes on his girlfriend. After a few moments he looked over at the nurse. "So how is she doing? Please tell me she will be ok and there is no added damage."

The nurse was startled at first, then smiled, "Yeah. She'll be okay. The worst part was the fall and the bleeding. We've stopped all that. She's absolutely asleep, and it took me hours to get her this relaxed. She should be up and ready to go by tomorrow evening."

Tai was very relieved to hear the nurse tell him that Lisa would be ok. He was also happy that she would be resting. Everything seemed to finally be working out well. He went over to Lisa's bed and leaned over, kissing her forehead softly. With a smile and a thank you to the nurse he made his way back to his room. He saw Maya still there so he pushed her body up onto the bed and then sat in a chair and started to watch tv.

Maya woke up about an hour after he fixed her onto his bed. She sat up quickly and looked around. "My God. I'm so sorry. Here come back to bed." She said, fixing her hair and thinking that he could have touched her anywhere he wanted while she slept. And absolutely deep sleeper, one could fuck her ass and she'd only groan slightly.

When Maya sat up Tai looked over and smiled at her. He got up slowly and went over to the bed, sitting on it and getting settled again. Once he was where he should be he looked at Maya again. She still looked tired. She hadn't had much sleep at all. He gave her a soft smile. "You should go home and get some sleep. I will be just fine. You've been here for so long. Surely you have a boyfriend waiting to spend time with you, or some family of some sort."

"I have a younger brother who's staying with my best friend tonight. I hate to think what weirdness could happen there. But I really had no other choice. I don't have a boyfriend. I haven't found the right guy yet." She said with a smile. "But anyway, I will leave you to your rest. I may just sleep on a chair for a few minutes..."

Tai nodded at the possible confusion in her life at the moment. Her boyfriend problem, he had to admit, was probably because of her voice. Guys would definitely be that shallow. She said she might sleep on a chair. That wasn't good. He frowned. "You really need some sleep. You can't keep going on like this. Over the past couple of days you have been beat up and only have about an hour of sleep. You need more rest than I do."

"No, no... I shouldn't... I can get in trouble if you walk out again. I'll stay awake actually, there's only several hours before we can officially call this over." She said, rubbing under her eyes. "I can't believe Akiko was so crazy..."

Tai nodded. He wasn't going to argue with her. Now that he knew that Lisa was still alive he was fine. He was looking forward to putting the whole hospital experience behind him though. Soon he and Lisa could go back to how things were before, only with a couple of casts to deal with.

He smiled softly at Maya. She still looked quite tired, but if she was going to try to stay awake, he couldn't really stop her. At her comment about who he knew as Naomi, he nodded. "I don't know how she didn't get caught sooner. Or snap sooner."

"I don't know..." She said, yawning, sitting down on a chair beside his bed. "She was usually very good with patients. The boys liked her especially." She put her head down a moment, and after a while, she stopped responding, the nurse had fallen asleep again, and this time, she wasn't going to wake up as quickly.

Tai nodded at her comment and looked away for a minute. He could see how people liked Naomi. When he looked back over at Maya she was asleep. He chuckled and smiled to himself. She really seemed out of it. He wasn't sure anything could wake her up. He relaxed for a while and just watched tv. He wondered how long Maya would sleep.

Hours later, a doctor entered. Apparently a real doctor. He had spiky brown hair and a goatee to match his facial attributes. Glasses over his eyes and a mole on his cheek.

"Alright Mr. Tai... we have some very good news, and some very bad news." He turned towards Maya.

"Maya, dear, wake yourself up, that's a write up if you do that again..."

Maya sat up, "Uh, God, I'm so sorry..."

"Don't worry. Anyway, I am Doctor Sekiya. I'll start with the bad news. The bad news are quite long, but let's get them out of the way. First, you were in a car accident. A car accident where you bruised bone in your arm. Your girlfriend, I presume, had a similar injury. It was emergency room worthy, but not life threatening. Akiko Somira is a hired nurse here, a nurse with a great background and expertise in her field. We had no idea she suffered from multiple personalities. There are at least five other personalities in her, the most dominant and violent being Naomi. We searched surviellance and saw that Naomi in fact, broke your arm and leg. She injured you and your girlfriend further. Naomi has a sadistic complex where she loves seeing others in pain. She also has unusually high sex drives with absolute strangers. There is no excuse for that. You will likely never see that woman again.

"The good news are that she's not very good at breaking bones. You have already recovered quite a bit, and soon Lisa will follow. You should both be able to leave by the end of the day today. Just stay home from work for about another week, eat light meals and try to do light exercise to get your body strong again."

Tai looked up when a doctor arrived in his room. He smiled and glanced over at Maya, who was then scoldedd by the doctor as she woke up. Tai didn't feel bad though. He had suggested that she go home and she had not.

Tai listened as the doctor started to tell him what had happened to him and how Akiko had been affected by split personalities and had done some horrible things to Lisa and to him. It explained a lot and he was very glad that she had been caught and that he and Lisa were safe now.

The good news was even better. He was very happy to hear that they were doing well and would be able to leave soon. It was a big relief. He took notes of what to do and started making a schedule of what he would make for meals and what exercise he would do. He knew that almost all his time would be spent with Lisa though. The relief and happiness that she was alive, ok, and remembering him was still very strong. He smiled at the doctor. "Thank you doctor Sekiya. Though, no offense to you and those working here, but I hope I don't have to be back in a hospital again for a very long time."

"I wish I could say the same. I hate to have to tell people that there are nine months left in their lives, or that they have a deadly disease. I do like bringing new people into the world, or seeing people recover. So it's give and take. Maya." He said, turning towards her, "Make sure everything's prepare for later tonight, I don't want Mr. Tai or Lisa here tomorrow. They are good to go."

Maya nodded, "Sure, I'll make sure everything's in place."

Sekiya smirked and turned away. "You know, that voice of yours annoys me Maya. I know a specialist who could help you with that..."

Maya smiled widely, "REALLY? THAT WOULD BE GREAT."

Sekiya reached for his ears, "Yeah. It would. See you around." And with that the doctor took off.

Tai chuckled a little at the doctor's comments. He sat back as he and Maya continued to talk. He felt like he was just there and not part of the conversation, but he didn't care. He was leaving that night. It would be great. He knew it. He was also very happy that his actions behid the wheel hadn't harmed Lisa as much as he had thought. It had been the insane nurse. He smiled over at Maya as the doctor left. "I don't mind your voice that much. Anyway, will Lisa be told the same thing? That we get to go home tonight. This is quite exciting."

"Oh, I'm not one-hundred percent sure... I believe so." She said with a smile, "We are allowed to see her, I'm sure. Want to go?" She asked, smiling warmly after he told her that he didn't mind her voice. She'd check out the doctor that Sekiya knew about, because this voice often times stopped her from getting to meet nice guys.

When Maya suggested going to go see Lisa he smiled and nodded. "Sure, let's go." He turned and got up slowly. He lowered himself down onto his good foot and the reached for a crutch. Without even waiting for Maya he started on his way out of the room and toward Lisa's room. Now that he knew where she was it would be easier to get there. He just hoped she was awake when they got there. He wouldn't mind waking her up though. She had been sleeping for quite a while.

Lisa was in the room, her thighs being pressed by another doctor. "How's all that feel?"

"It feels strange."

"Good, that means your legs are fine. I have reports that show me that your boyfriend is going to be okay too. You can both probably leave later on today." He said with a smile, turning as Tai walked in.

"Hey Tai, what are you doing walking around?" She asked with a smile on her face, there were still bandages covering her eye, but by some creepy miracle, she made it work.

The doctor excused himself and saw his way out, Maya close behind Tai to make sure everything was fine.

Tai got to the door of Lisa's room just as the doctor was telling her that they could leave that night. He smiled at her and went over to her bed. She looked hurt, but still very beautiful. He leaned in and kissed her. When he stood back up he smiled at her happily. "It is so exciting. We get to go home tonight. I came to see you and make sure you knew."

She laughed quietly, "Tai... there's a nurse here... don't do those sorts of things in front of other people." She told him, rubbing his shoulder with her hand before she slowly started to rise up. "I won't be able to work for some time. My office has probably already fired me. I'll have to start new." She started walking towards the door. "Are we allowed to take a walk down the hall? I need to get used to moving around again."

Maya nodded. "Sure you can."

"Come on then Tai. I know it's not exciting, but perhaps we could start forgetting this nightmare through a short walk.

Tai chuckled at Lisa's embarrasment. He felt that her worries had no reason. If she was fired he would confront her boss. He couldn't fire her for being hurt. Especially when it wasn't her fault. She might not get paid, but she couldn't get fired. He wouldn't let that happen.When Lisa went toward the door he joined her. At her suggestion he smiled and nodded.

He went out of the door with Lisa and wrapped an arm around her. It was for comfort and support for both of them. With a small smile he leaned in close and kissed her cheek. The he spoke softly. "I'm quite happy that we get to go home. Don't worry. Everything will turn out just fine. We will work together to take care of eachother."

"Well... we're not going to be injured forever I hope..." She mumbled, several doctors moving in their direction with Naomi in custody. She planted her feet on the floor and prevented the two doctors from pulling her along.

"I'm so sorry about everything." She said, at this point, despite her body being absolutely amazing, it was hard having to look at her. "I tried desperately to fight Naomi away. She was too much. She hurt you all very much. But I am locking her away now. I just wished I could have avoided this... you are both good people." She said, the doctors pulling her along.

"Come Akiko! Enough of your psychotic talk!" She winced when they pulled her, "Where you're going, you'll get the medication to control everything. But you likely won't be released for at least a decade."

She looked at the ground, then back at Lisa and Tai as she was pulled away. That glance was creepy, something that would make it difficult for them to sleep.

Tai was surprised to see Akiko, or Naomi, he wasn't really sure. It had been quite a while since she had been taken into custody. He would have thought that she would be in prison or an insane asylum already. She tried to appoligise, but he would never trust her, not for a moment, ever. He took one look back at her as they walked away. The look she gave him struck right to his core. It put fear into him. He knew that between Lisa and himself, they were the reason she had been caught. He was now worried that if she ever got out she would come after them. They may never be safe. He knew he would have nightmares.

He tried to continue walking with Lisa. After a few steps he stopped and just held her. After a very long hug he kissed her softly and then spoke softly. "I'm a little scared now. Of her. I'm more worried for you though. I already felt like I lost you once. I won't go through that again. I never want to be away from your side. I always want to be with you. I love you, that would be reason enough, but I also want to make sure that you are safe."

Lisa was shocked too, and she held on to him just as tightly. "It's alright. She's going to be put away for a long time. She's not going to hurt us. Trust me." She tried to smile at him, and kissed him again, Maya quickly moved over to them, to help keep them calm.

After a few tests and such, they were released as Doctor Sekiya had promised.

A couple of years had passed. Tai and Lisa were engaged, and soon going to get married. Miraculously, they had recovered quite well. Lisa's eye however, remained damaged, but it brought something attractive to herself, and she and Tai remained faithful.

Maya, through the guidance of Sekiya, managed to get her voice back. Whenever Tai or Lisa came in for check ups or vaccinations, she'd make sure to take care of them, everytime, they'd ask about Naomi, and Maya, with her real voice, would ensure them that she was still locked up, but recovering well.

One evening;

"Now... finally after such a long time... I'm back where I belong. I've taken control of my emotions. I've actually eliminated all of my other personalities... and became the person I was born to be..."

Her hand ran over the drawer, picking out several tools. The hospital's lights were out.

"Now, where are their files..." She said with a smirk, searching on a computer, bending over and looking into the screen. "Lisa and Tai... my my... still at the same address..." She smirked and turned towards the door, both Doctor Sekiya and Maya looking up at her in fear, their mouthes taped shut, their hands binded. "I heard your voice now Maya. It's very beautiful. I think I want it. And as for you Sekiya... let's just say I have a special gift for you too. All other forms of myself are gone. I am Naomi... I am a sadistic, troubled nurse... I find pleasure in your pain... I like the sight of your blood... gushing from your injuries. I enjoy snapping your bones... and the sound of your last breath is like a drug to me..." The two of them shook in fear as they looked up, the nurse placing gloves over her hands and snapping them onto her wrists.
