The signs where there, but no one actually listened to the people who warned them.
The year is 2035, nothing vig has changed accept the outbreak in medical reserch. Discovering a huge virus which they turned into a cure for various diseaces.
Or thats what they thought they did, They created something more violent, and dangerous. A virus that attacked the human body and brain, spores bugging with mind and vitality. Manipulating the human body to become something extrem and disturbing.
Something sifi fans called Zombies, walking deads, living corpses. Everything in between of life and death.
(( See how a zombie can look - The last of us Fungus zombies))
Maybe it was the best for human kind to suffer, but there are people that has survived the biggest outbreak.
There is a camp, in the shore of Florida, where survivors from America has gathered, but they are sure there is more people that has survived but hasnt been able to bring themselfs here.
Its not carefree to live against living eather, as people fall each day from mental issues and other things that may turn living to kill another living.
But how will it really go, can humanity actually work together and survive?

It was cold, unusually cold for being October, or that's what he thought it was, he had not been able to keep track of time. Samuel, a 24 year old guy, sat at the top of the wall the had built for keeping the dead out, it was not fancy, but it protected the living. He held a sniper in his light brown hands, and on the edge of the sniper was a silencer. Of course some living dead listened to sound, some of them warmth of the human body. He lowered the gun to his waist, no zombie was making any threat against the wall built with some metal like thing.
"How long can this really hold?" He asked himself as he looked down, and then on the ladder down to the right side of the wall, inside. He was not there when the build it, but he knew they was short of materials and everything had to be handled with cheapness and care-ness. He had a hood over his brown short hair, and the sleeves rolled up to his elbows. Nothing out of the normal today, only surviving was on the list. Yet another day protecting everyone inside.
Before the apocalypse, he studied to become a doctor, for his sick sister who was so ill she had life support. And was sadly one of the patients who got the fungus like virus injected into her arm. If Samuel knew hell would hit his life, he would have appreciated more things in his life. Like his cat. His eyes followed a zombie who stubbed forward, missing one of its feet. It was a female, she reminded him of his mother, light skin, and black hair. But nothing could bring back her, or his family. So thats why he had to survive, to live for them.
He held the sniper sturdy as he rested the gun against his shoulder, pointing with the pipe on the zombie. It took him less than ten seconds to acquire the target and pull the trigger. It did not make a lot of sound, only a small bang. The zombie fell over, with a bullet hole right through the right eye socket.
"One gone, thousands left.." he sighed.
