At a glance, the building was just another crumbling downtown apartment complex. Maybe some people noticed that the tenants kept strange hours, but in Gotham it didn't pay to stick your nose into such things. However, according to the intel, they weren't the crooks and gangsters that most people expected--almost the opposite. The 'tenants' were actually a live-in security force for the vault in the basement.

Aside from three stories of guards (although none of them heavily armed; had to keep up the facade after all) the vault itself was pretty secure. Fingerprint scanners, pressure plates, laser grids, the works. And even if one did get in undetected, almost everything inside was too large to be carried out by a lone cat-burglar.

Almost, but not quite, everything. The most valuable item in the vault wasn't heavy industrial equipment like the rest of it, but a single necklace. None of the info the master thief had gathered explained why this bit of jewelry was worth millions, but there were already buyers eagerly bidding on an item that hadn't even hit the market yet.

Standing on the rooftop opposite the apartment complex, the woman surveyed the area using some binoculars which allowed her to see thermal imaging. There were a lot of bodies on the third floor as well as the second and first, at least ten on each. Selina couldn't see down in to the basement though, not to worry, she liked surprises.

Swinging on to the targeted building, her heels landed on the roof and clapped against the hard surface as she walked towards the door. It had been padlocked from the outside, but that wasn't something to stop her. A simple swing down with her right heel smashed the chain to pieces before she smiled to herself.

Now was the moment she had to be very careful, although she was highly skilled, she wouldn't be able to take out everyone at once. Stepping down each step, Catwoman placed the binoculars on and saw two men in the corridor, the other eight were in various rooms. When she saw that both their backs were turned to one another, she placed the gadget on her belt around her waist and went on to the landing, following the one to the left. As he turned a corner, Selina followed, jumping on his back and twisting his neck before making her way down to floor number two.

The second floor only had one guard patrolling in the hall, though her last thermal imaging check had shown two pacing the floor below. Whatever her plan, though, she would have to move fast, before the fallen guard on the floor above was noticed--a matter of minutes, at most.

((Sorry for the short post. Hope I gave you enough to work with.))
