"Ouch!" She yelped as something hit her in the arm. "What the...." She bends over to see what had hit her. Seeing what it was she picks it up and begins to walk silently towards the direction that the little box came from, freezing briefly as she heard a voice calling out.

Tathariel busied himself making sure the stew was prepared. Shadows dance and flickered around camp, illuminated by the red orange blaze of the fire.
Standing up to stretch a bit, he shook around a bit, trying to get the stiffness out of his body. He wondered if he had actually hear anyone walking towards him.
Forests were always playing tricks on your mind, he knew.

Shrugging, he cupped his hands, and called out, "hello???".
He looked around, putting his hands on his hips waiting expectantly.

A young woman with bright emerald eyes peeks out from behind a tree, looking nervous. "Um, hello yourself... Did you throw this at me?" She shows him the object in question without moving from behind her tree shield, just in case he wasn't friendly.

Tathariel smiled sheepishly, and held up his hands to show he meant no harm. "No, no, no. Sorry about that. I just got a little frustrated and tossed it aside without thinking. My bad. "

As he spoke he studied her, marking her ears and tail. Seeing as how she was rather tin and tired looking, he figured he might as well see if she wanted some food.

Waving her over, he turned around and walked over to the fire, where a pot hung, contents simmering.
After looking around for a moment, he spied a few wodden bowls sitting out of reach. Waving a hand up, looking as if he was trying to swat a bug, two of the bowls flew to him.

Plucking them out of the air, he deftly dipped both into the stew, taking care to make sure hers had a bit extra. Setting hers down on a stool, he put a bit of distance between it and himself, trying not to scare her off.

He sat down near the fire, and looked at her with expectant eyes.

She looked a bit wary but wandered over toward him, her ears twitching slightly. She sat down next to him, her tail flicking apon smelling the food. Her belly growling loudly, as though she had not eaten in days.

Tathariel quickly looked down, letting his white curls fall over his face. Hoping that his hair covered his face enough so she couldn't see his grin, he shook a bit as he tried to hold back laughter.

Her stomach had growled so loud!

After a moment, he sat up straight again, hoping he looked composed.

Tossing a few sticks on the fire, he smiled in pleasure as it feed on the wood greedly, blazing nice and hot. As embers floated through the air like fireflies, he turned to look back at the girl, who sat on a stool bathed in moonlight.

Seeing that she still had not helped herself to some food, he waved a hand, and the bowl he set down earlier floated to him. Holding it out to her, and waving it in front of her face a bit, he laughed and said, "hey!, Lighten up and eat!, I know your hungry!"

She turnd bright red in the face, as she accepted the food. "Oh, yes, well... uhh thank you kind sir." She started to eat cautiously, nodding in delight. "It's very good." She said between bites, her tail curling around the stool.
