It was a shitty way to start their new lives togeather, after all some expected it to be some out break of a super Flu that broke out until the attacks started and the dead began to walk. All she wanted was to spend the weekend with Aiden's family without something going wrong. Then life had to be a Bitch and bring on the god damn apocolypse, it was too bad she had to meet her new inlaws while they ate the family dog. That ended quickly with a bullet in their brains, funny how being a Zombie Movie junkie and being mixed up in a blood thirsty biker gang came in handy. They had joined up with a group of survivors lead by a former Sherrif. Rick was a good guy under all the crazy shit he went through, he had mentioned a Wife and a safe haven of a prision but that had gone to shit too. Other brushes of death didn't seem so bad now that they had reached Terminus, now they had all been herded into Train cars like Cattle waiting to be butchered. Alyissa's skinning knife was taken along with her dual Revolvers, she was left defenseless and for once the fiery Irish lass didn't fight. It seemed compleatly useless not to submit to them now, Aly hoped her death was quick. So she didn't suffer and see the agony in Aiden's eyes as her throat was cut.

Bruises were splotched around her sides from being kicked into submission, her rib cagescreamed at her everytime she inhaled. Alyissa clung onto his side for support while burying her face in his chest so she could breath in his scent. She wanted him to be her last memory before she was slaughtered. She wanted to remember their long nights togeather, the playful flirting of when they first met and the skipped heartbeats of when he proposed to her. Her amber eyes flickered down to observe the ring she now fiddled with before they traveled back up to his face "I love you" she whispered almost inaudible to him.

For the past couple years, death was always imminent. Just one wrong move to allow one of the walkers to sink their teeth into his flesh and he would be dead. However, death was never so terrifying as it was at this moment for Aiden. Cowered down in a train car with the rest of the group, he sat holding the love of his life. Months before the outbreak started, Aiden and Aly got married. The two had never been happier, but that happiness was crushed immediately. Even through the tough times, they managed to draw strength from each other and protect each other. This time, however, they couldn't save themselves.

Aiden's dark hair was scabbed and covered in bloody patches. His blue eyes that were usually light and happy were now dark and cold with rage and anger. He couldn't accept that he and Alyissa were going to die. Even though Aly was kicked and beat into submission, her husband put up a big fight as well. The married couple was the most bruised of them all because they were scrappy. If anyone thought they would lay a hand on his Aly without some kind of fight, they were wrong. He fought and kicked as hard as he could but it wasn't enough, he felt like a failure.

With a shaky breath, he looked down at Aly when she spoke. He barely heard what she said but he could determine that she was telling him that she loved him. "I love you too." He whispered back to her, glancing into her eyes... those beautiful eyes... "I'm sorry." He added shortly after. He made a vow to protect her and keep her safe for the entire time that they existed. He loved her like no one could ever love someone else.

Things were mostly quiet now other than the occasional sob from someone in the car or a sniffle. Matters soon got even worse when the door was pulled open and tear gas was thrown. Immediately, Aiden had a coughing fit as he felt himself being grabbed from the train car. In the process, Bob, Rick, Daryl, Glenn, and Aiden were grabbed along with a couple other males that were in the car before the group arrived.

When Aiden regained consciousness, he was in a human slaughterhouse, tied beside of a trough. He wasn't sure what was happening until Gareth stepped up to slit Sam's throat, then leaned his body over the trough to let the blood drain out. This would be their fate but of course, Aiden wasn't giving up so he worked furiously at the knots before feeling himself being struck in the back of the head with the butt of a gun by one of the Terminus residents. His head throbbed now and he could barely see straight. Glenn was about to be cut next but Gareth stopped to interrogate Rick about some bag that he stashed in the woods. It was a brief distraction, so Aiden tried to work at the knots again.

Tears stung her eyes blinding her as she was shoved aside and the love of her life was ripped away from her. Her gut tightened as sobs racked her body as Alyissa slumped to the floor despite the agony of pain that fired from her ribs, she didn't even feel Maggie pull her into a hug. It felt like Alyissa was going to be sick and for a second she almost did but was interupted by an explosion that went enough to make it echo off the walls in the Train car. Struggling to get up she stumbled foreward to peer out one of the rivet holes in the steel, someone had shot a propane tank by the smell of the fire burning. Part of the fence was blown off and Walkers began to pour in through the entrance. Sweat began to bead down her forehead and chest as adrenaline pumped through her veins. A shred of hope was left if they could figure a way out and past the cauos that insued, with the intense rush she found herself welling up with burning rage. No Terminus resident was going to be shown mercy, they wanted to play bandits she'd give them a proper welcome to the industry.

Despite the time being bought, Aiden couldn't remove himself of the restraints and he was about to accept his fate, sadly. He just hoped that Aly could find a way to escape and live out her life. That's when the massive explosion was heard outside. It startled Aiden as much as anyone else as the walkers started to pour through the fence. By this time, he saw that Rick had worked loose the ropes and it caused himself to ferociously tug and pull at the restraints until it was finally off. The men then fought the Terminus residents in the room with Rick instructing them to kill every single resident that they see. These people were sick and Aiden was a huge man that was pissed off, and it only spelled trouble for the others.

After eliminating the threats in the slaughterhouse room, they entered inside of a different closed off room that had human body parts hanging from the ceiling. These people were cannibals and planned to eat them. It all made sense now in a sick, twisted way. The five men were able to ambush some of the residents and take their weapons while the walkers feasted on the larger majority of the people. The cause of the explosion was still unknown but it was now the best thing to happen to them. It was also the very first time that Aiden was happy to see the undead walking. Tracing their path back through Terminus, fighting off a few residents and killing a few walkers, they arrived at the train car where everyone else was. It seemed that Aiden and Alyissa had escaped death again. Rick slid open the door after shouting that it was just them and that they needed to run. Aiden jumped up, helping everyone down out of the car since they might be disoriented from the sudden change of light.

Alyissa nearly broke into more sobbing when she saw Aiden was still alive but their reunion would have to wait, they had to escape Terminus first. She forced herself to run despite her aching torso "How the fuck to we get out of here?" she asked before Carol tossed Daryl his Crossbow and Aly's skinning knife. Rick commanded everyone to jump the fence while he covered them. She nodded gripping Aiden's hand dragging him behind her as they ran with Walkers following behind. Tucking her knife back into it's sheath, Alyissa jammed her combat boot into the chain link and tried to swing herself over despite her bruised muscles protesting with electric fires of tortured flesh. with Abraham's help she managed to make it over. It might have been selfish but in that moment Alyissa only really cared for Her and Aiden's survival. Not that Rick or any of the others didn't matter it was Just that Aiden was her world and without him by her side there didn't seem much worth fighting for. Feeling the ground hit her boots made her more anxious to put millions of miles between them and the facade of a Sactuary. She was even grateful to feel her ribcage hurt, it reminded her she was alive.

Newly reunited, the group was finally able to fight their way out of terminus. In that moment, Aiden's motivations were the same- keep himself and Alyissa safe with Alyissa being his first priority. After they had jumped over the fence, Aiden stayed to make sure everyone else was safely over the fence before running along again. At the weapons cache, they saw Carol come around and it was seen that she was the person that saved them and started the explosions. She lead the group through the woods towards the cabin that she and Tyrese had stumbled upon earlier. Rick wanted to go back and finish off the rest of Terminus, but everyone else agreed that it was far too dangerous with the amount of walkers pouring in now that the fences were down. Finally, they get to the cabin and Sasha greets her brother Tyreese and Rick and Carl embrace Judith. It's a happy reunion for everyone, at least for the moment. However, before Aiden and Alyissa have their happy time, he knew that she was injured. Well, everyone was hurt in some way but of course he only cared about getting Aly healthy. Everyone was starting to spread out and rest up since they had a long road ahead to try and get as far away from Terminus as possible. The cabin was terribly small but it was something for the moment. Aiden led Aly over to the corner of the room and nodded to her.

"Take a seat, let me look at your wounds." He instructed her softly. His usual gruff and rough tone was so soft and soothing whenever he spoke to his wife. He had medical training since he was working on becoming a surgeon before all the world went to shit, so he could take care of injuries easily and proved to be a valuable part of the group.

Alyissa let herself slump to the floor of the cabin and lifted up the material of her shirt to reveal angry red patches with dark hues of blue of where the tissue had swell. Luckly she hadn't broken or dislocated any of her rib bones, the affected areas were very sore and she could feel where she had been kicked with every inhale of air. "I'm fine Aiden...really" she weezed before wincing. "I've had worse" she reassured even though she resisted doubling over from making herself move. Aly didn't sound convincing and fell silent when she realized it. The air inside was musky smelling from the dust there also was a coppery tang from the Body crumbled across the room. "I thought I lost you" she murmered reaching up to place her delicate hand on his face. Her eyes filled with near heartbreak "If they had killed you I...couldn't" her voice trailing off unable to finish the sentance.

Aiden knew that her injuries could be a hell of a lot worse, but he was thankful that it just seemed to be some bruised ribs. All he really could do is just hope that she got some rest. He used to have a good supply of medical wrap but that was lost somewhere along the way and it would have been perfect to use right now. With a sigh, he just dropped her shirt back down around her. The heartache that was in Alyissa's eyes nearly made his own heart crumble. It was so sad to see her like this. He slowly turned his head to kiss her palm. Before he could speak though, Daryl tapped him on the shoulder and said that they were moving out, that they needed to get as far away form Terminus as possible. Interrupted again, Aiden nodded and murmured a reply before simply looking into Aly's eyes and shook his head. "We will never lose each other." he reminded her and then reached down to help her up to her feet. As much as he wanted to just hold her and hug her since they were so close to death, he knew they had to keep going. "You need to keep all the pressure off your body that you can... I could carry you..." He offered, holding his arms out to her. He wasn't even joking. He wanted to carry her because bruised ribs were painful. It was the first injury he suffered in high school football and it hurt to breathe. "Come on, let me carry you." He continued with a nod. Aly would be like a feather to the strong man anyways.

Alyissa sighed there was no use hiding how much it hurt to walk or even talk for that matter, coming closer to him she snaked her arms around his neck to support herself if he was going to carry her, she did have to attempt being carried by Aiden did sound better then forcing herself to move again. Why couldn't she have more then two minutes with her Husband without being interupted, Alyissa couldn't recall the last time at all that she had bedded him. Well not compleatly forget but enough that she craved his touch. The concern that shone in his blue eyes only added to her hunger unfortunatly now was not the time to mope about being Sex deprived. Daryl was right they needed to put distance between them and the house of horrors that they had escaped from "I think that might be a hard promise to keep with death at every turn lover boy" she joked giving a small smile to lighten the mood.

Aiden slipped one arm under her neck and the other at the back of her knees and hoisted her up. Carrying her wasn't that unusual to him anyways. He often loved to pamper her and carry her around so she didn't have to walk. "A princess shouldn't be forced to walk on her own, anyways." He chimed in with a little smile. It was the thing that he would tell her every time when he carried her,and he said it again, hoping that it would bring happy memories back to her, like their walk on the beach when he held her in his arms or the night he proposed to her when he carried her around in the park.

They followed along the railroad tracks until they came to a sign for Terminus. Rick wrote "No Sanctuary" over the sign to warn those passing that there was nothing safe about Terminus. They continued on walking down a road as the smoke billowed over Terminus in the distance. No one really said how far they would go, but they just knew that they were safer with each stride away from the place they took. It was rather quiet now as they all walked along. "How are your ribs now?" Aiden whispered to Alyissa, still carrying her in his arms.

She rolled her eyes playfull hearing him call her a princess, it was obvious that Alyissa wasn't a fragile flower but she let him treat her as such becuase she thought it was cute. "I have been better, not as bad when I cracked my head crashing my bike but it's still sore. A Ice pack would be heaven right now" she smirked tucking her face into the crook of his neck and nipped him here and there to tease him knowing he wasn't expecting it. Aly was just glad for them to both be off the menu for the sick fuck they encountered "What do you think made them turn to Cannibalism?" she whispered back.

As they walked along the road, Aiden listened to Alyissa and just shrugged slightly. "I don't know, to be honest." He told her with a little frown. It was sick how everyone lost their morals as soon as the world went to shit. Aiden was happy to still try and do the right thing even in such difficult times. He didn't want to let who he is change along with the violent world. They come across a lone walker that Michonne takes down with the butt of her gun, bashing in its skull. Other than that, they have no real issues along the road as everyone just talks with each other for a moment before they decide to make camp in the woods again for the night. Carol was now back with the group and everyone was accounted for. Aiden sat Alyissa up against the tree and pulled out his pistol, leaving it to his side as he also held onto the military knife that he got from his father as he sat up to keep watch. He hardly ever slept anyways. Their shoulders were touching as his eyes darted back and forth. "Why don't you go ahead and get some rest?" he suggested and looked down at her.

She nodded her eyes feeling heavy "I'm afraid" she whispered her eyes darting aroud even though they were far from Terminus now, "What if I wake up and this is all a dream and I'm still in the train car?" she whimpered burying her face into his shoulder feeling herself shutter as heavy emotions came flooding back. It was a stupid question but his comfort might help her sleep. Alyissa hugged her knees and tried to press herself closer to his side so his warmth might soothe her flury of anxious thoughts fluttering around in her head. Aly let out a yawn and then winced from aching in her sides.

Aiden listened to her and frowned, just shaking his head. "it's not a dream." He whispered and kept searching around. When he felt her bury her face in his shoulder, he just exhaled quietly and glanced down at her. "Hey, come here now." He said quietly and wrapped his arms around her body and pulled her into his lap again and pressed her close against his chest and shoulder. "Now, just get some rest, okay? Everything is going to be fine. Maybe we'll find some shelter tomorrow. But I have you, Aly. I will hold you all night. You just rest." he instructed her because she really did need to rest and he hoped that if she fell asleep in his arms with him holding her like this, that she could sleep better.

Alyissa let out a content sigh feeling better now that she could hear his heartbeat with her head resting on his chest. It was moments like these that she missed the world it was before, she should have picked up 1999 Night train chopper that night From Lizard the same man who had done her own Motorbike. Alyissa never did ask if he knew how to ride but she was willing to teach him since it had never came up in their conversations, the one wedding present that she had kept a secret from him. Now it might as well never had happened, maybe once the world went back to the way it was could she taste the sweet freedom of the open road again or if it stayed this way she never would. Aly didn't mention alot of her personal life she had never discussed. Aiden asked about her scars on her back once, she never answered. There was no mistake that those marks belonged to the whipping of a belt, she still got nightmares from her home life. But how was there any way of casually bringing up that she was abused in her youth. The answer was simple there wasn't, Alyissa didn't ask about his past and she never told him about hers it was just the way it was. The sound of his breathing brought her out of her train of thought "I can try" she murmered before closing her eyes and letting herself doze off in his arms. Her light slumber was pleasant with vivid dreams of their long nights togeather made her writhe occasionally in his lap as she rubbed herself against him to make herself more comfortable.

When Aly fell asleep in Aiden's arms, he let out a content sigh and just held her. He could always notice how much better she slept when she was with him and his embrace as it was the same thing for him too. He had always paid attention to the scars on her back and how she wouldn't answer them at all. He knew that it was from her childhood and from a whipping belt, that was obvious. It gave him all the more reason to caress her and treat her gently. Never once has he laid a hand on her or done something awful to Alyissa. He wanted to show her what love was and how she could always count on him. A couple hours later, Daryl walked over and nodded to Aiden, silently telling him to take a break and of course, Aiden didn't argue and just closed his eyes after kissing Aly's head and whispering an "I Love you" into her ear even though she was asleep and wouldn't hear him. He just wanted to say it again. His eyes closed and he snuggled closer to her as well as he fell into a slumber soon enough, still holding her in his arms through the night in a dreamless sleep.

Alyissa began to mumble words in her sleep as if she were talking to someone, it was usually becuase it was a sign of her falling deeper into sleep. It wasn't until she started murmering no that should he begin to worry, Nightmares plagued her dreams of when she lived back in Las Vegas. Her scars would burn like she was on fire, Her body would kneel to the ground as she prepared to be whipped again. Her back would sting like hell from the memories as they were still fresh but of course there really was no pain but them memories were always fresh in her mind. The only restful ever got was beside him, it was one of the many perks of having Aiden by her side.

Aiden was almost fully asleep when he heard her mumbling. He didn't bother with it because she did it often and he didn't even think twice about it now. When he was getting closer to falling asleep though, he heard her murmuring no over and over again. His eyes shot open and he didn't know exactly how to wake her. He knew it would startle her, but it might be better than letting her sit through the pain of her nightmare. He hoped that just holding her would help her calm down from whatever nightmare may have been bothering her. "Aly... Aly wake up." he whispered and gave her shoulders a light shake, continuously shaking her until her eyes opened, whenever that may be.

Her eyes blinked as she let them come into focus "hm what's wrong, was I talking in my sleep again?" she asked rubbing her eye "Sorry if I woke you up I didn't mean to worry you" she said in mid yawn before shifting her postion in his lap and settling down again "It was just another Bad dream" Aly reassured him with a small kiss. Nightmares were a regular occurance it was always the same one too but it disturbed her more then she let on. Alyissa was a very reserved person even when it came to telling Aiden, she would bottle her problems until they backfired on her. It was unhealthy but she did it anyway not wanting to burden with troubles no matter how much they stressed her.

"Alyissa..." Aiden began a few moments after she spoke. "You can talk to me about it, if you ever want to talk, you know?" He cooed softly into her ear and started to stroke her hair. "You have these nightmares all the time and it worries me, Aly." He added with a little sigh. Honestly, it was more of a burden for Aiden not knowing than it would be for him to know. He had an idea of what it was - abusive childhood - but he wasn't sure on the specifics. He couldn't change what happened, but he knew he could help her fight through it if he knew. He wished that she felt comfortable enough to tell him what plagued her at nights because he felt that he could tell her anything and hoped she felt that too. "I love you, Aly. I'm here for you." He whispered again before kissing under her ear, showing that if she wanted to talk, he would listen, but if she still didn't want to talk, he would just drop it.

Perhaps it was time to tell him she couldn't take much more of hiding it. "You remember when you asked me about the scars on my back? Daddy was a priest and he spat hellfire on sundays, Repent or be damned." she shook her head taking in a shaky breath "He would hit Momma too but I got the worst of it, he would make me kneel down and take my night gown off and whip me until I pleaded for him to stop. Honey like mine would lead the righteous astray. He said it was a lesson in humility" she said covering her face with her hands letting out a shuddering exhale."for years I was afraid of being with a man becuase daddy would hit me"

He frowned when he heard this and he just shook his head. "Aly..." He whispered and removed her hands and squeezed them, looking into her eyes. "Look at me. I love you. I am so sorry that your father hit you... I don't know why he would ever want to damage such a precious woman. I want you to know that I love you so much, Alyissa. You don't have to be afraid. I don't know how but I want to help you overcome this fear. I want to help you sleep better at nights and not have any nightmares. Just know that I will never, ever hit you and that I will always treat you right. I'm glad you put that fear to the side to be with me. I never knew that baby. Now, come here." he said and ended with squeezing her to his chest, kissing her cheek, then her temple, then her forehead, then her nose, then her other cheek, and so on until he was attacking her with kisses all over her face, wanting to cheer her up and make her giggle and smile.

Alyissa wiped tears away "God damn I hate crying" she sniffled into his shoulder and felt better when he began to kiss her face. "See this is why I married you, Dosen't matter how foul the mood is You always know how to make me feel better" Aly gave a small smile in response "I'm not afraid when I'm with you, infact I feel braver. Especially with the whole apocolypse thing" she said blinking away more tears and she began to laugh despite tears still flowed down her cheeks. "Daddy is burning in Hell by now. Tray killed him and gave me his head for Christmas. The farm house is long abandoned now" she said shaking her head "don't even get me Started on my Biker gang life"

"Well, all of that is in the past, okay? You don't have to worry about being hurt anymore because someone would have to kill me to even lay a finger on you, Aly." he told her with truth and determination in his voice. When the pricks at Terminus were hurting her, it took nearly five or six to actually keep him kicked down long enough. He showed ferociousness and strength and fight in him like never before when Alyissa was in danger. He was really a laid back guy, but when someone was threatening the love of his life, he wasn't going to be nice and quiet Aiden like he normally is. Now, he just kissed away her tears. "Come on, think about good thoughts, okay?" He offered and sighed softly. "Think about when I proposed to you, how happy you were. I never seen you smile so big." he said with a little grin as he poked her nose.

Alyissa smirked "That's usually not what I think of but We'll go with that sure" she laughed giving a coy smile. She kissed him in thanks for making her feel better "You know you being possive over me is kinda hot" she giggled brushing her bangs from her face. Aly had always felt protected by Aiden as much as she could handle herself just fine, having back up never hurt. She felt tired again now that she was well reassured that no harm would come to her while she slept. Resting her head back on his chest she closed her eyes hesitantly and tried to fall back asleep.
