The bright lights of the city was enticing to a small country girl like Lillian. She had graduated from a college with a Bachelor's degree and earned enough to move here to further her education to become a Health Administrator. So far she made it half way and her array of classmates decided to go out after passing one of the toughest exams, a Law exam. For some odd reason this hourglass, emerald green eyed, long hair brunette could store and pull out any law out of her mind. She was already un-natural with her ability to communicate with nature and her fighting style. For years this country girl fought men on many different levels up to the point she was fighting in an underground ring to earn money for college.

Tonight the girls were out drinking and dancing and the group of seven girls walked down the street. Lillian's hair was in waves with her lips painted a dark pink and she wore a red dress with black heels. The women walked down the street as Lillian was on the outside but in her tipsy state she bumped into someone or something. She reached out with her slender fingers touching fabric but she looked up at a set of eyes that seemed to focus on her. Suddenly she blushed with her muttering her apology.

"Lillian! Stop flirting! We need to hit the Pole before the good looking men are taken!!" A black classmate shouted but another grabbed Lillian to yank her along. Not far behind the women were a group of three men following them at a distance. The large men ignored the quiet group but they slowly closed in on the women until they reached a dark spot. Lillian was the first one to be snatched while two more were shoved in behind her, into the alley way. Lillian turned kicking high to hit one man but his friend countered with a closed handed punch right into her mouth which sent her back into a brick wall. The force dazed her greatly as the necklace around her neck was taken with her purse but the man she kicked wasn't done with her. She heard a pair of pants being unzipped and her mouth being forced open but at this point she was more aware. This man was going to force his cock into her mouth!

In his two centuries of life, Alaric had never had quite a night such as this. He had been dragged out of his apartment by fellow Vampires, and his two best friends, Vincent and Caroline. He didn't want to go. But he needed to eat. He stands at 6 foot 2, with jet black hair, which he usually wears hanging over his forehead slightly. For whatever reason during his transformation a stripe of his hair was colored bone white. Alaric is quite muscular, as any woman could plainly see.

He was walking down the street with his companions, both of whom were older than him by quite a few years. They had just hit the streets looking for someone to eat when he saw her. She was tipsy. She was beautiful, and quite alluring in her red dress. She stumbles as they pass each other and bumped into him. Their eyes met, her green ones meeting his dark brown. He could have sword he saw something in them, perhaps a flicker of recognition...something..but as her friends called out to her his called to him.

"Oi!! Are you done? Let's go eat."

He chuckled to himself. That would be Vincent. He turned to go when he saw them, the trio. It was so obvious to him that they were stalking the group of woman and he couldn't let that happen. He waves his friends on to go ahead of him, calling out that he would catch up. He stalked the stalkers, catching up to them as they began their assault. Damn that girl could fight back though. He stopped to watch for a second, but as soon as he saw she was losing he rushes forward, using his superior strength to shove the man in front of her against the wall. There was a loud crack as his spine snapped and the man fell, almost in slow motion. He snapped the neck of the next man to come at him, almost making it look easy, before turning his attention to the woman against the wall. He walked to her with his hands up, showing her he meant her no harm, looking her dead in the eye the entire time.

"Are you ok? Don't worry you're safe now, i won't let anything hurt you"

Lillian's head was aching but she saw a third man, the last one, pulling a knife out to stab Alaric. Grabbing Alaric's pants leg which she was able to swing herself around to knock the man down. That action alone ripped the side of her dress open. In that swift movement she was up on her feet cursing about the heels but the sudden movement made her head pound like someone took hammers to it.

Her eyes flutter as Caroline appeared just in time to catch the collapsing Lillian.

"Having fun without us? You know better!" The red headed vixen teased Alaric as Vincent bit the last man to drain him of his blood but broke his neck at the same time. "Oi!!! Save me some!" She chimed in as she held Lillian to her slender form having the woman's head resting against her breasts. The other women had managed to run when Lillian made herself a shield for them. Caroline looked down at Lillian as she touched her hair to sweep it back from her face. "Alaric go ahead and feed." She nodded to the man whose back was broken. Caroline thought this woman looked familiar or felt familiar. She didn't have a heart to tell Alaric that she loved his partner as well. As vampires you didn't see genders just the soul itself and she loved his beloved's soul...Elizabeth Alliana Cunair....A peasant woman who helped them over two centuries ago but she was taken in her prime to never be seen again. "How about I take her home with me so she can't become someone else's target." She looked to the men as there was good vampires and the ones who enjoyed breaking strong willed humans to become their play things.

Alaric's eyes widened in shock as he saw this woman kick some major ass. He can't help but be impressed with her. He watched her collapse and moved to catch her but Caroline was already there. He felt a flash of jealousy but held his tongue, knowing full well that it would lead to a fight. Last thing that he wanted. He turned without a word and nods, moving to the dead man against the wall. He bit deep into his neck and started to drain him, keeping an eye on Caroline with the girl. He drank his fill, never taking his eyes off of her, and drops the drained body on the ground. He wiped his mouth and turned to Caroline, reaching out for Lillian.

"Your turn Care. I'll take care of the girl. I'll bring her to my place for now. She'll be safe there. You're both welcome to meet us there if you please."

Without giving her time to argue he takes the girl from her, picking her up in his arms as if she weighed nothing. Alaric moves fast, faster than any human and most vampires. It takes him only a few minutes to get to his simple one bedroom apartment. It's quite bare, very little on the walls, and only one couch in the living room. Alaric lives a very simple life, wanting for little. He places her delicately on the couch, closing the door after he does. Sitting down beside her, he settles in to wait until she wakes up. Why is it she looks so familiar? Being only a mere two centuries himself, he is quite inexperienced in matters such as this. He can only hope she wakes up soon.

Caroline was about to protest when Alaric bolted off with the unconscious Lillian in his arms. She was going to yell for him to stop but Vincent shook his head. "The boy gots to learn." He said as he allowed Caroline to feed and the two disappeared before the police showed up.

Lillian laid there on the couch as the necklace that was taken from her was given to her after her high school graduation. Caroline had retrieved it after he took off. Hours went by as Lillian opened her eyes to find herself in a dark room but she turned her head to the side seeing a familiar face. That face of the man she ran into earlier. "Where...Where am I?" Sounding weak as she got up but ended up falling back on the couch only to gasp when she felt the cool air running up the side of her thigh. Reaching down as she felt bare skin up to her hip where she could feel a bit of her panties. Blushing as she tried to keep herself covered.

Alaric finally stirs as Lillian does. He stands and before he answers her question flicks on a lamp. It's not very bright so it shouldn't hurt her eyes, but she shouldn't be able to see too well without it. He, on the other hand, has no problems seeing in pitch darkness. He can see her ripped dress, and his eyes linger on her exposed skin as he kneels before her. "You're at my apartment. You collapsed after...everything that happened. I thought it'd be best if i took you back here instead of a hospital, seeing as there doesn't seem to be anything physically wrong with you. how are you feeling?"

He notices her blush and stands quickly, realizing that she is quite exposed at the moment. "Excuse me let me fetch you something to wear." He grabs a pair of sweats from his room and a big t-shirt for her to throw on. He doesn't want her to be uncomfortable. Far from it. He returns to her and tosses the clothes at her. "How much do you remember?" He glances at his watch as he does so, wondering where Vincent and Caroline are. They should have been here by now.

When the light came on she did turn away from it. It seemed she was light sensitive to a point. After a few moments she jumped when he tossed the clothes to her while she tried to remember what happened. "I don't honestly know. I drank abit of wine and I remember these dark brown eyes then..." Her hand went to her mouth as if she remembered the punch. "That idiot hit me...He sucker punched me." She muttered softly then remembered a cock about to be forced into her mouth when something else happened.

"That's all I remember other than my head pounding." Smirking as she got up with the clothes he offered and went behind what looked like the bathroom door. Just as she shut the door and began to undress she heard the knock at the front door.

Vincent and Caroline stood there in the hallway but when Alaric answered Caroline held up the white gold necklace of diamonds snaked around a ruby stone. "Found this in the alley way. Though it may belong to her..." She stopped as Lillian stepped out of the bathroom with the shirt coming down to hide a birthmark over her left hip. The birthmark was two marks that looked like fang marks.

Alaric pulls the door open to see Caroline and Vincent. His eyes focus automatically on the necklace. He can only assume that it's hers. He takes it from her and nods his thanks to Caroline. He walks to Lillian and holds it up then walks behind her. "Caroline found this in the ally. We assume it's yours." He reaches around in front of her from behind her and clasps the necklace, letting his fingers trail across the skin at her neck after he is done. Like he could resist. The connection between them..it confuses him. He'll have to talk to Caroline about it later..maybe Vincent actually. Caroline seems to have an interest in Lillian as well for whatever reason.

Whatever the case may be Alaric remains standing as Lillian sits on the couch again. Of course Caroline goes to sit next to her, but Alaric gives her a look and she backs off. This will have to be resolved sometime soon, otherwise it could ruin their friendship. Vincent speaks up for once. Very rare that he has something to say. "We should make her forget what happened."

Alaric Shakes his head before the other vamp has even finished speaking. "Not a chance." He glances at Lillian. "Let's talk about this later. Would you like one of us to escort you home? I promise you'll be safe."

"My head may be pounding but I can still hear your whispers." Lillian spoke up as she looked to the men as she got the sense Alaric or Vincent was keeping Caroline away from her. "I'd like to get home." She said but as Caroline was about to speak Vincent seemed to grasp her hand to lead her away from the two.

Vincent looked to Alaric and Caroline just as he escorted Lillian out of the apartment. Once the two were alone Caroline looked to Alaric. "She looks exactly like Elizabeth. Odd since she never had a child." Sitting there thinking but shrugged her shoulders. "Well she did have other sisters and brothers so there may be something there but I will admit she is hard to resist...No?" Caroline had a touch of a French accent to her voice that came out thick when she's mad then speaks in French. She knew he missed Elizabeth and she hid the fact her and Elizabeth had their own private moments when he was away. Both women gained the relief without a man's aid so when Alaric came back Elizabeth was happy to see him which explains her rushing into his open arms to embrace him.

On the way home Vincent had his arm wrapped around Lillian's shoulders only to shield her but yet let her rest her head. An hour went by and he returned to Alaric's apartment. "She's in bed and still unsure what happened."

Alaric looks to Caroline as she speaks of someone names Elizabeth. He casts his memory back across his Two Centuries. He can't remember anybody by that name and he says so. "Elizabeth huh? Can't say i remember her. As for Lillian, hard to resist is an understatement. I find her strangely alluring. Familiar even, although why i can't say. Any ideas Care?" Of course Caroline says nothing more so Alaric grunts and goes to get himself a drink. He knocks back his glass of scotch and hands Caroline the bottle, from which she takes a long drink. They sit mostly in silence until Vincent returns. Alaric can't hold back his snide comments any longer.

"We should have told her what really happened. You and i both felt something there Caroline. If you won't tell her then i will find her and tell her myself. What about you Vincent? Did you feel what we felt? That sense of familiarity?"

"No and its best to keep the girl out of this world." He commented as he knew something the two didn't as he was bit older than the two horny younglings. He ignored the look Caroline gave him as he snatched the bottle from her. "I'd advise you both to steer clear of this one. We've lived in peace this long without upsetting the clans."

"Who the hell cares?!" Caroline snapped as she was missing that familiar feeling of being loved and loving in return.

"I DO!" He snapped baring his fangs as it seemed this was a touchy subject. "You two don't get it. For centuries certain humans were used for breeding with vampires and werewolves. You two felt drawn to this one is because she is one of the very few left who can bare a day walking child from a vampire's seed." He had to tell them. "If any other vampires seen her birthmark then she'd be taken underground and forced into a breeding program where they'd do what they can to extend her life so she could pop out as many children as possible. Like Elizabeth."

"What?! What do you know about her?!" Caroline snarled but she was back handed by Vincent to settle down and he glared at Alaric when he made a single move.

"Elizabeth was a lover to both of you but her family was bred to carry our young. I had my own urges tended to by my own harem but you two...You two couldn't get enough of her. Either it was affection or being sexual but Transvia heard of her family. He seduced Elizabeth when you both weren't around and made his move and force her to take his seed. When I heard what happened....I and a few others destroyed that farm and wiped both of your memories and kept track of that family. Elizabeth...Her mind was wiped clean but died during child birth and the child was killed on the spot. Dark and gruesome but its the Gods honest truth." Vincent told the two what happened to the farm and Elizabeth along why he wanted the pair to stay away from Lillian. "I had wiped her memory clean and left the parts of her walking out of the clubs."

Alaric snarls at Vincent during the entire encounter. His fangs bared and his blood lust nice and high. "Don't you fucking touch her!" He yells at Vincent as he backhands Caroline and gets cuffed up the side of the head for his effort. With some difficulty he keeps his mouth shut and his hands by his side. There's no way that Vincent couldn't see the hatred in his eyes as he says very low. If you ever lay a hand on my again Vincent, I swear in Nyx's name that i will end you, whatever it takes." Not that he could. Vincent is much older than him, and therefore much stronger.

He does his best to settle himself before he gets himself killed. He simply stares at the floor after Vincent finishes, his muscles taunt. "I will see her Vincent. Do what you must, but i refuse to stop seeing her because of what might happen. I will not reveal what we are if i can avoid it, but..you owe me..You took my memories or Elizabeth. Let me have this..please. You owe both of us. I will protect her. I promise. Just think about it.." He sweeps past Vincent, and looks back at Caroline for a split second. "Sorry about Elizabeth, it seems you remember more than i do." And so he leaves his own apartment. he doesn't have long until Dawn, but he needs the air. He just walks, not really paying attention to where he's going. He might even get a bite to eat.

"Alaric!" Caroline yelled after him as since she was older then it was harder to erase her memory. She watched him take off but she sunk down in the couch with her looking to Vincent knowing what he did was for the best for them both. Though allowing Elizabeth die? There was herbs for a safe miscarriage. Shaking her head as the pair left to go to their own respectful homes.

Lillian was curled up on her bed when something was telling her to wake up. Groaning as she turned onto her side as the birthmark started to burn slightly. Her groans got louder as she rubbed the birthmark until she woke up. Sighing as she moved to the bathroom, still in Alaric's clothes, she grabbed some aspirin to ease the headache. Feeling ill as she went to the kitchen to grab something light to eat but she looked out the window seeing a familiar face. "Wait..." Pushing the window open with her leaning out seeing Alaric. Looking at the clothes she had on seeing they were meant for a man and she was single. Disappearing back to her bedroom as she knocked the clothes off only to get dressed in a pair of shorts and a tank top. In seconds she was down the stairs and running out in the street with his clothes in her hands. "Hey! Wait a minute!!!" Running up to him as she grabbed hold of him but when he turned she was smiling. "I feel like these belong to you." Holding the clothes out to him as they smelled of orchids, her perfume from that night.

Alaric only comes back to himself as he hears her voice. It could only be her voice. It calls to him. Of course he ended up here. Interesting that he doesn't even know where she lives, but his feet still took him to her. More proof that he should be with her. he still wears his cloths from earlier in the night. All black, as is the norm for most vampires. His collar rubs against his stubble as he turns his head to look at her as she runs to him. A great smile spreads across his face at the sight of her, scantily clothed as she is. Is it her genes that make him want her? The fact that she could bear a child for him safely? Whatever the reason he craves her. it doesn't help that so much of her skin is exposed. He catches a wiff of her scent. How delectable.

"I'm sorry...do i know you?" It pained him to lie to her, but he did promise Vincent that he wouldn't expose them. "They aren't mine i assure you...but they do seem to be in my size, so if you're giving them away.." With a small grin he takes them from her, his fingers brushing hers gently on accident. Goosebumps rise on his skin. Alaric's fingers gently brush the hair from her face as he examines her bruise.

"Are you ok? It seems you're injured. Did something happen?" Vincent be dammed, he was going to enjoy her company, even if he cannot tell her what he is. Alaric's eyes roam down her body. He tells himself that he is only checking for more injuries that he may not have noticed. It's a lie, and anybody could see the want in his eyes. Not only for her body, but for her. To know her, and to protect her from everything evil in this world.

Lillian blushed at her mistake as she thought he was familiar to her. Blushing as he pushed the hair away from her face with him asking about her bruises. "Not completely sure. I was out last night and I may have been bit clumsy. If those aren't your clothes then I'd like you to give them to someone who needs them."

Slowly she backed away from him only to turn away to head back to her apartment. Her hips were perfect for bearing any child of any size. With her green shorts running bit high with her black tank top fitted to her torso with slight give to it. She felt like a fool but as she reached the door she turned to look at him. "I'm sorry about before but I thought I knew you from somewhere." Laughing softly as her slender fingers touched her soft lips. "You may have one of those faces that just reminds people... Take care!" Waving to him as she slipped inside with the sun slowly rising from the East.

Lillian had taken the chance of her day off to get some yoga in before grabbing her gym bag that had her boxing gloves within it. For a good while she was training on the mat with other women then paired off to go after the men. She was rusty but she got a good work out for her. By later afternoon she was walking down the street where there was a farmer's market. There she was picking out fresh fruits and slipped into the butcher's shop for thick bloody steaks but on the way out she looked further down seeing dogs being adopted out. "Hmm..." She walked over seeing the small puppies were getting attention but one white large pup who seemed over looked. Once she approached the dog looked right at her with its bright amber eyes. At that moment she was walking away with the dog on a leash. How this happen she didn't know but with a bag full of food for both of them. When she reached her apartment the dog was growling at the shadows.

"Easy boy. You're not going after the cats there." Encouraging the massive pup inside as she allowed him to play with his toys as she put her food away. She looked over with a smile. "You were certainly unplanned...Perhaps it as destined for me to have you." Laughing as she rubbed his ears as he shook his toy rabbit. When night came she was running with the pup to get him tired out before bed time but she didn't get far when he stopped with his ears perked. He growled with his floppy ears laying back and his hackles were up. "Diesel....Stop it!" The large pup yanked himself free and took off into the shadows in which she ran after the pup.

Alaric turned from her house, a small happy smile upon his lips as he walked away. The sun is starting to rise, so he flits back to his apartment. He makes it with plenty of time to spare, though it took him ages to get to her house to begin with. The benefits of being a vampire. Vincent is waiting for him, though Caroline is gone.

"You will be the death of us brother. Don't do this to yourself."

Alaric's eyes give Vincent a quick up and down, sizing him up almost, and he sighs.

"As i said before Vin, this is important to me. Nothing...not a single dammed thing has been this important to me in two hundred years. Except for Elizabeth, or so i hear. You took those memories from me. Now i don't condemn you for it, in your place i very likely would have done the same thing. You are welcome to stay here for the day if you want, but know you..." He's gone before Alaric can even finish the sentence. "Goodbye to you to"

Alaric's day is quite different than Lillian's. He is holed up underneath the floorboards in his apartment. It's quite cozy really. As the sun sets he rises, hungry. Naturally he showers before leaving. It's quite refreshing actually. His hair still dripping with water, he dresses nice, just as he always does. A nice pair of slacks and a collared shirt. All gray tonight.

As Alaric walks he thinks of her. His feet take him in her general direction, though he doesn't know it. He is under the impression that he is walking in a completely random direction. He cuts through a park, thinking he would pick up a meal at the bar a few blocks over when he hears growling and barking. He laughs, dogs never did like him, even as a human. Cats love all vampires, but dogs...not so much. He kneels and reaches out a hand to the all white pup barking at him. Naturally it doesn't work. "Ah well i tried." Getting up to leave, he hears her voice calling out to the dog and it resonates though him like it shouldn't. Alaric calls out to her as she comes into view running after the pup.

"You know, we really should stop meeting like this."

She came to a stop seeing Alaric there with the pup. Laughing as she walked over grabbing the leash and pulled him back. "I know but since we keep running into one another I think its proper to exchange names." Smiling as she held the straining dog back. "I'm Lillian and this...Untrained beast is Diesel." In one swift movement of her fingers the pup was sent into a sitting position.

"Why don't you walk with us? I may need a hand with this one." Smirking as she managed to get a handle on the puppy enough to keep him on one side and Alaric on the other side. Her eyes ran across his body seeing he seemed rather odd looking. He was pale but yet alluring at the same time as she had a slight tan to her skin.

He nods his head at her name and introduces himself. "Alaric, it's a pleasure." He decides that it can't hurt to walk with them for a little while, but eventually he would have to leave to go get food. He takes his place by her side, and he can't help but feel like it's right to be there. If only the dog would stop growling. He chuckles. "My apologies, dogs never did like me much." It's worth it though, just to spend time with her. "So tell me Lillian, where are you from? As you said, if we're going to keep running into each other..Well i suppose we should get to know each other. I gave those clothes to a homeless man by the way. He looked about my size." It wasn't even a lie, he did so on the way home the night before. He looks over at her, smiling at her, showing that he's enjoying her company as much as he is. Vincent is wrong, he has to be . No way in hell he's giving this up. And it's only been about 24 hours!

Looking up at him as he asked about where she was from. "Well I'm from a small country area and get my degree online while I.." She stopped there as she wasn't proud of her underground fighting days. Maybe that can wait. "Well lets say I hurt people to earn my degree. I moved here to further my education in the medical field." Smiling as she looked to the dog. "Well I picked him up today at the Farmer's market. So I'd guess he hasn't been socialized with people or dogs since he's been over looked." Reaching down as she rubbed his ear but the walk to the half way point was nice as they stood under the light post.

"I liked our walk, Alaric. Perhaps I'll see you again without running into one another." Smiling as she turned to head back with her waving to him. To her she sensed something was different maybe his up bringing? Was he a military man? A dark past? Though whatever it was she didn't feel like he was after her sexually but perhaps they could be friends for now. Walking home as she noticed the dog didn't ease up on his guard persona. "Easy Diesel....You're the only man in my life." Giggling as she hugged the happy pup before heading inside.

He understands all too well the shame that accompanies hurting people. He doesn't push the issue, though he could have. Instead he raises his hand in a farewell, hoping that he will see her again soon. Time to eat. And so he wanders off to the nearest bar, taking a seat and thinking about Lillian. "I wish i could remember Elizabeth, perhaps that would make things a bit easier. Maybe Vincent knows of a way to restore my memories." He thinks to himself. Alaric knocks back a few drinks, searching for a target. Each Vampire has different tastes when it comes to blood. He finds that those who bully, and those who are physically...well ripped taste better. Especially if they are in the midst of said bullying. Last night..well that was delectable. His dark eyes seem even darker as he starts to think about the blood. He usually drains his victims completely of their blood. The man last night was already partially drained. Understandable considering he broke his spine on a wall, but it didn't quite sate him like it should have.

Luckily for him, and his victim, this meant that he wouldn't have to kill tonight. It's a relief. He doesn't like killing, not like most vamps. Alaric spots a man against the far wall, taking with his friends. He follows the man into the bathroom and does his business in the stall. Naturally Alaric wipes the man's memory of the incident and takes his leave, leaving his unfinished drink on the bar. He can't help himself, he has to go see her again. He lets his feet take him wherever they will, just like before. He doesn't know how to get to her, but his body does. This time he pays attention to the route, so that he can return here whenever he wishes.

"There you are."

He catches her just as she passes in front of a window of her house. Alaric watches her through the glass, doing whatever it is human's do. He's a little out of practice being human. He won't go talk to her tonight, he is content just to see her. He doesn't take into consideration the dog though, it could very well screw him over. It crosses his mind now, but he pushes the thought aside. The chances are slim.

Lillian was in front of her window as she was trying to teach the dog basic training as the two didn't notice Alaric standing there at the window. The puppy suddenly jumped at her to tackle her to the ground then took off with the bag of treats.

"Diesel!!!" Getting to her feet as she took off after the dog who was hyper all of a sudden though she stopped when something told her to look up. When she did she didn't see Alaric at the window but yet she was looking right at him. Shaking the feeling off as she took the bag away and grabbed the trash to take it out before it got to late. Walking out as the dog plays with his toys but she lifted the trash can though she looked up as if she felt something was watching her.

"Weird..." Shrugging as she slowly made her way to the door and sighed softly. She missed curling up to someone, the feeling of being caressed and being loved. Though someone called out to her and she turned to see one of her male classmates rushing to her. "Jared..." Turning from the door as the geeky man was trembling while he fumbled over his words on asking her out on a date. She seemed flattered but yet conflicted. "I'm not the right girl for you. You don't want someone like me in your life...As you men say...I'm to assertive and territorial. You attract the cutest of girls." When he looked crushed she told him which girl he should ask out or give a chance. "She's the sweetest one I know and your knowledge plus her creative skills...You two can make it happen." Smiling as she watched him leave in defeat but she fell back against the door shaking her head with her hands moving over her face.

Alaric is watching of course as poor jared is shot down. he can't help but smile to himself. He probably shouldn't have enjoyed that as much as he did. She is clearly not interested in him, and by the looks of the guy, she is out of his league. "Hell she's probably out of mine as well." He shouldn't go to her, but he does. With a few quick steps he is visible to her, though he flits across the street so she doesn't know he was at her window. He's fast enough that she shouldn't notice him until he wants her to. He holds up a hand in greeting and chuckles.

"Poor guy. Shot him down huh? My apologies i didn't mean to eavesdrop, but i caught the end of it."

That's when Diesel starts to bark. Alaric laughs and shakes his head. "Still not a fan i see. He'll come around someday."

Jumping at the sound of Alaric's voice with her hand moving to her chest while her birth mark seemed to glow somewhat. "Oh you heard?" Blushing as she looked down with a lock of hair falling in front of her eyes but she reached up to push it away before looking to him. "He's a good guy but I tend to get aggressive and he's a gentle heated man. I'd destroy him in the process and I don't want to do that to him." Weakly smiling to Alaric as she had the urge to invite him inside though if she did then anyone who saw would think they were sleeping together. She was attracted to Alaric but it seemed there was something else there.

Across the street a slender woman was watching as she had noticed the birthmark glowing whenever she interacted with Alaric. Smirking the shadowy figure took off to alert one of the prized breeding girls had been found. Though Lillian stood there in silence wondering what to do next. "I'm sorry its been awhile since I've been interested in someone." Her green eyes flickered up at him.

"My apologies. I didn't mean to startle you. And you're right. You're a woman of passion. You need a man who can match you, who can push you. You need someone with just as much fire as you." The lock of hair falls again as she looks up at him, and he loves how she blushes. He reaches up and lightly sweeps it back into place for her this time, before she can. If Alaric could blush, he would be right now. What a bonehead move! He turns away, embarrassed, and catches some movement across the street. Probably just a cat or something. Alaric returns his attention to Lillian. His fingers find her hand and he grips it lightly, and if his heart still had any life to it, it would be beating hard now. He looks her in the eye and mutters just loud enough for her to hear. "Are you saying you're interested in me My lady?" His smile grows just enough to show how much he enjoys teasing her.

She gave a small squeak when he grabbed her hand and she gave him a slight nod. "I am. I am interested in you. There is something about you that draws me to you and I don't know what it is and I BARELY know you." Laughing as she shook her head. "Foolish isn't it? To be attracted to someone you barely know. I guess it falls under looks can be deceiving." Gripping his hand as she heard her phone ringing and little did she know vampires had excellent hearing.

"I should get inside and make sure the mutt isn't throwing a tantrum." Slowly as if reluctant of leaving him she slipped back inside and answered her phone. "Yes?...I told you I gotten out of that. But..." She stopped as she moved in front of the window listening as it was someone asking her to step back in the ring and fight once more for money. "That sounds like good money and it could help me out greatly..." She said softly with her back to the window as her thoughts ran to what that money could do for her. "Give me some time to think about it." At that moment she was given 24 hours to think it over. "But!" They hung up and left her there with the dial tone. Groaning as she fell onto the couch and the pup was whining in worry.
