High above the arctic tundra a plane flew low over the scenery, silent but no less deadly considering the people they had on board. They where the team that had been sent in to make contact with the the scouts who had gone ahead to examine a set of ancient ruins that had come unearthed amidst the tundra. Which was very odd to say the least. This wasn't like the Russian ice-feilds after all. The Arctic tundra rarely changed dramatically. So when the ruins appeared, everyone all around the world was interested in sending an exploration team to find out when, and where, and why. Since it was on American soil, the American's got the first shot at it, and they did. They sent in the first team, a scouting party of si straight to the ruins to see what they could find while the government organized more teams to take over. Like this Team, Team Alpha. The lead team.

The Captain of this team was General Chanson Michealis. He would be in charge of the entire operation. When he told you do so something, you would do it. He had hand picked this team of five others, because they where the best in what they did. He was a sword specialist. He was a practitioner of the art of fencing, and had even won a few trophies. He was considered a military genius because of his tactical abilities and his skills as a leader, as well as how fast he'd risen from the ranks of a ground troupe to a three star general.

Ananda Mira, for example was a Sniper who had just come back from a war, her instincts still hot, her skills still honed. She had signed on for this trip for a bit of a breather away from active combat. She could hit a flipped quarter from four hundred feet, but that didn't mean she was helpless up close. She was a master of three different martial arts, she was one of the most dangerous people on the team because if she wanted you dead, you where dead, and if she was pissed off with you before that, well she played with you first. She was the eldest of three siblings. Both of which where also on the team.

Miranda Dover. The Medic and doctor of the team. She was one of the most impressive surgeons in the field of medicine and was also a major in biology and genetics. She has no experience in defending herself in any situation. She's never so much as been attacked before. She's the youngest of the three siblings, and is married to the historical expert. That said, she isn't afraid to smack anyone upside the head for annoying her, messing up her labs or hospital stations or picking on her, well, feminine husband. she had actually gotten in a lot of trouble once for stabbing someone with a scalpel when they didn't stop picking on her husband right in front of her.

“We're almost there.” Chanson stated, standing up from his seat in the small aircraft. “grab your gear and be ready, there was a report of a distress signal a while back but it stopped after an hour. The Scouts reported that it was a malfunction but we don't want to take any chances if there was a cave in or something.” he admitted. “make sure to watch your step.” he ordered. Watching the massive ruins come into view. The private jet would land just outside, and they would walk the half a mile to the base camp where the Scout Team was supposed to be. Problem was, even from that short a distance, there seamed to be no sign of the scout team.

"I don't like this." Martin Dover whispered to his wife. He was a well respected historical expert on this region of the tundra which was why he was assigned to go on this mission. Of course he would have found some way to these ruins even if he hadn't ended up being assigned to Team Alpha. These ruins completely changed everything they knew about this region from a historical standpoint. It's possible that human beings, maybe even an entire civilization of some kind, stood on these grounds long before their earliest estimates.

"We should have waited for more combat forces to join our party." He stated his opinion aloud. It might have been because of his feminine looks that he felt the need to boldly state his opinion to others even when he knew that they disagreed with it.

"We've been over this before, there's no telling what kind of one of kind treasures are at these ruins. The scout team more then likely has been attacked by bandits or mercs who are after the loot to make a payday that most people can't even dream of; and don't even get me started on the freaking spies, spies from other nations and even spies from rich business CEOs who have way too much money on their hands. The point is that we're running late to the party and if we don't move to secure and document those ruins a-sap the most valuable and telling items will be long gone and stolen."
Elisa Warran countered her colleague. Elisa specialized in the study of ancient Architecture but she was most commonly known for her Indian Jones style of exploration.

She was arguably the most experienced in the whole group with this type of situation since she had been on several investigations like this, granted this situation was unique given where the ruins were discovered but that didn't really change how the greedy acted. She was good with a blade herself although the Captain was almost certainly better. She was also good at sneaking around others and make a fast retreat with what she was after before anyone knew what had happen.

"I'm sorry, I thought our safety and lives were the number one priority." Martin responded in an annoyed voice but Elisa doesn't hesitated to counter.

"Wrong, are lives can't even compare to some of the artifacts in those ruins, literary one of a kind items that may be the last of their kind in the world. The knowledge they can give us is certainly well worth the risk to protect and ensure their safety in my opinion. Besides Team Beta is being prep as we speak and we come within the week to the base camp if they don't hear from us telling them otherwise. Plus we have an emergency radio we can use to contact HQ if we need them sooner so we're not going in unprepared."

James Mira watched silently as his two colleagues argued about the safety and priorities of the mission they now faced. He was the middle child of Ananda and Miranda and as a result was used to being in the middle of said fights. He was the Anthropology expert on the team as well as the unofficial cook. James thought of himself as a pretty laid back and enjoy a nice book kinda of guy.

Well to be fair his sisters could still annoy him, especially Ananda but overall he was pretty chilled and able to approach things in a calm logical perspective. For example he had worked with both Elisa and Martin before, although he knew Martin better given that he was married to his sister, but he did know a lot of Elisa. He knew that Elisa had a little bit of an adrenaline junkie, nothing too serious, but she would certainly go into a fight without a second thought if it was for an artifact she wanted. Martin by contrast tended to be more cautious. History had taught him that those unprepared and stupid enough to rush into things before fully understanding the situation suffered greatly, but life rarely gave them time to be prepared.

"Well maybe you should just grow some balls! No wonder you look more like a woman then I do." Elisa shouts at Martin at the climax of the argument.

Turning Martin replies, "Why you-"

"That's enough BOTH of you!" James cuts in. This was getting out of hand and not off to a good start. "We're all professionals here so let's at least try to act like it." He tells the two her just turn away from each other as they grumble.

Miranda nodded. she didn't much like it either to be honest. it just didn't seam right. there was something wrong, she knew her husband had better instincts than any of the others combined. if he said something was wrong, then he was usually right. she didn't like coming all the way out here to the bitter cold, but how could she say no when her brother and sister and husband where all rearing to go? this was the discovery of a lifetime. the discovery of a millennia! how could she sit at home while they where making discoveries? what surprised her the most was that the General didn't comment when her husband spoke up. that was good to know, her husband had a big mouth at times.

"there are no other Combatants." Chanson stated suddenly. "those that we where able to get, had to be evenly distributed between teems Alpha, Beta, Gamma and Delta." he stated simply. "Omega, as the last team, doesn't have any. you should be thankful for the few fighters we do have and be thankful they are all some of the very best." Chanson admitted. "however, Elisa, our Lives are more important." he stated. "without our lives we cannot protect the ruins. we must be cautious of what we find." he admitted. "if there are bandits we must be careful, if we die defending them, then what's stopping others from taking what is ours? we certainly won't be able to stop them if we're dead." he warned the adrenaline junky. "we are not going to rush into this." he ordered before turning his attention out the window again. Ananda just sighed, well aware this wasn't the end of the argument. people like Elia where never satisfied unless they had their own way, she knew that from experience.

"What did you just say to my Husband?!" Miranda demanded, eyes flashing with rage. Ananda just sighed, Miranda couldn't stand anyone picking on Martin. she had been in trouble many times for defending her lovers honor. "just let them fight James. i wanna see if Miranda stabs her." Ananda admitted with a sly grin, Miranda turning to glare at her elder sister before huffing. Miranda wasn't one for physical fights. she much preferred to poison someone, or drug them and then experiment on their bodies while they where asleep. she'd done that before too, creepy woman.

"everyone shut up and sit down." Chanson demanded. "we're there. grab your shit and exit the jet." he demanded. "and no more fighting or i'll kick the crap out of all of you and send you back to where you came from like naughty kids." Miranda huffed but started gathering her supplies, Ananda snickering at her sister, gathering her own things as well. once they where all off the jet, it took off again, leaving them in an empty snow covered wasteland. no animals, no trees, nothing but snow. "Lets go." Chanson ordered, leading the way to base camp. not that it took too long. the snow was more of an ice, and was thick and hard enough they could walk on top of it without falling through. it was cold as hell so they headed straight for the Base Camps six cabins. each team would get their own cabin. the Scout team had Cabin One, and the Alpha team had Cabin two and so on. "get your asses in gear!" Chanson demanded. they all knew their jobs. one person would start unloading the sled full of their stuff, food mostly, while others would start fires in the cabins fireplaces and others would start firing up the generators, if they could be started. "does anyone see the Scout team?!"

James had read an article once on why human beings were scared of the dark. It wasn't so much the darkness itself that scared them, it was not being able to see or understand the threat they face. When you know what you're up against, even if you're completely outclass, you can at least take some measures to prepare and fight the threat. This simply act of planning forces you to foresee a situation where you come out alive, which therefore gives you hope. However if you don't know anything about the threat, if you're left completely in the dark, you can't plan for how to fight it, and as a result you can't see yourself winning. Just like the drop before the fall of a roller-coaster, and the moment before the needle is stuck into your arm, the fear during that moment you're waiting for something to happen is the worst.

That fear gripped the team now. People don't just vanish, and the fact that the scout team was just.......gone......was unnerving. While no one said anything aloud the tension was obvious, even Elisa mumbled to herself, "If bandits had attacked them the entire base camp should have been wrecked and looted...."

James was paired up with his sister Ananda as they went to go start up the generators. James also had a degree in engineering, because that came in surprisingly handy when he was out doing field work. It made sense for Ananda to come with him since the generators were a little ways away from base camp. "Heh, it's been a while since we've all worked together on something like this huh. It's going to feel like old times when we were little and lived together, although back then you didn't have as big a chest as you do now." He teases her as they begin to get to work on the generators. Luckily nothing was wrong with them and they were able to turn them on with little problems.

As they came back to base camp they heard Elisa talking with Chanson. "I want to go to the ruins now and investigate them. We checked out the Scout team's cabin and there's nothing there, there's nothing of them anywhere in base camp which means logically they can only be at the ruins. And if they're not at the ruins we should still check to make sure they're secured and undamaged from whatever caused the Scout team to abandon their position."

While this was going on Martin and Miranda had set up the camp fire and we're in the middle of unpacking supplies. "Damn I just lost five bucks to my wife. I bet her Elisa would ask to go to the ruins right when we entered camp." Martin tells the Ananda and James.

Miranda frowned, nervous in the silent camp. this wasn't right. the Scout Team knew they where arriving today, they should have been here to meet up and debrief them and explain the condition of the ruins and what they had discovered. had there been a cave in, or bandits after all? but no, nothing was disturbed, none of the cabins where broken into. it must have been an accident in the ruins. "i agree." Miranda admitted to Elise. "it's most likely an accident in the Ruins. a cave in or a triggered trap." she admitted. she didn't speak aloud that they where all most likely dead already. the signal ended four days ago, meaning they've been four days without water, food or medical aid. probably all dead. she turned and followed her husband inside to get the fires going.

"it has been a while. i think the last time we all got together was for that weird convention thing Miranda insisted on attending. you know, the worlds fair thing that was being threatened by terrorists?" she asked, looking amused. "Martin got kidnapped because the terrorists thought he was a girl." she admitted with a snicker before glaring at him, kicking him i the shin just hard enough that it would hurt. "leave my breasts out of things you pervert." she ordered, amused, standing guard while James worked on the generators, the cabin lights flickering on. "great, let's get back, it's so cold out here i might freeze my balls off." Ananda admitted. not that she had any balls.

"actually, keep your fiver." Miranda ordered Martin with a smile before moving over to Chanson. "i hate to say it, but i agree with Elisa. we need to go to the ruins. if there was a cave in, or an accident some of them might still be alive, and in need of medical care." she admitted. "i don't want to run the risk of there being survivors and not heading out to help them." Chanson nodded. "load up the excavation gear. we'll head up tot he ruins as soon as we have everything on the sled." Chanson agreed. "i don't see the sled dogs either, so your most likely right. they're probably in the ruins as well." Chanson admitted. "the Scout Team must have gotten trapped in the ruins and the dogs are still up there, or even trapped with them. get it in gear! i want to be out before the hour is up! if there are survivors we don't want them to suffer too much longer! asses in gear people!"

The team quickly gets their gear together and being led by Chanson, heads towards the ruins. They quickly arrived at the mountain pass where the ruins were located in. Elisa, being the expert in Architecture volunteered to go first into the cave to make sure that it was still safe and structurally sound. She was quickly strapped down with safety equipment as well as her own equipment she would need to determine how safe the cave was. Once that was done she quickly went into the cave and went to work. If Elisa was being honest she was very tempted to just sprint ahead and see what was going to be the find of a century but at the end of the day she was a professional and acted as such.

Elisa worked quickly and methodically, checking the cave's walls, the ceiling, using her sonar equipment, looking at the support structures and checking for any structural breaks in the tunnel. After what felt like hours she finished and came out to the team waiting outside. "All clear." She told them.

The all clear was a relief to the team but it still didn't answer the underlying mystery about where the Scout crew was. The team enter the cave and walked silently until they finally came to the ruins. The cave open up to reveal a huge cavern within the mountain, and within that cavern was a huge castle like structured. The castle was white and grey, appearing to be made out of stone and ice. Support columns came out of it, twisting at odd angles as it held the cavern in place.

The team just stared at it in wonder and amazement, even to Elisa the ruins looked nothing like she had ever seen before. Lights had been set up by the Scout team to illuminate the cavern and show off the structured that looked to have been carved by hand. "Incredible." Elisa stated in breathless wonder as she stepped forward, not even sure where to begin her research on these ruins.

Martin however is the first to come down from cloud nine and notice something very important missing, "I don't hear anything." He didn't have to say what he was expecting to hear.

"Hey isn't that an emergency pod!" James suddenly shouts out as he spots something by the entrance to the castle like structure. The emergency pod had been something that was given to them by HQ, it was designed to survivor freezing temperatures, cave-ins, fires, basically anything one could think of. It was a line of last defense, a person hops in there and closes the lid, entering into a hibernated sleep through the gas as they waited for rescue. Of course if no one showed up in time they would starve to death in their sleep.

Martin rushes towards the pod, checking its monitors. "Holy crap there's someone still in here. Miranda get over here!" He shouts out as he opens toe pod.

Releasing a cloud of smoke the pod opens up to reveal a
woman inside of it. The woman was currently still unconscious but she appeared to be alive.

As the rest of the team gathers around her James turns to the General and ask him, "Hey General, do you know who this person is? Is she a member of the Scout team?"

Sara Nadeen

Chanson was very cautious the entire way to the ruins. the whole place gave him the creeps even if no one else seamed to notice. Ananda seamed to like the atmosphere even, then again she had always been a bit off. he'd always thought so, at least she was more sane then Miranda was. set that one off and you'd never get her calmed back down until someone was bleeding. honestly the whole family was insane, even those married into it. probably made him insane too for bringing all of them into the same team. and then there was Elise, who was just as insane and seamed to have a crush on either James or Ananda. it was hard to tell since James and Ananda never seamed to be separated. if they weren't siblings, Chanson would have sworn they where a married couple. he supposed that answered his question though. he was totally insane for putting everyone on this team together. they where the best though, and he needed the best to be the lead team. thank god he'd stocked up on pain killers, he was going to have a lot of headaches he was sure.

"it's amazing." Miranda whispered, looking upon the ruins for the last time, Ananda nodded, speechless for the first time since they'd set off on this journey.

"how can we possibly find a place to start?" Ananda asked, shocked at how big the thing really was, and that was only if there weren't any underground sections. "huh? Pod?" Ananda asked, startled by the sudden activity, Miranda running after Martin, medical bag in hand. she slid into place next to him and started checking the woman's vitals, testing her pulse and running scans to check how well she was. Chanson examined her for a moment before bringing his digital watch up. it worked exactly like a tablet, creating a hologram on the skin of his arm. it couldn't hold much information, but he had what he needed on it.

"yes. this is Sara Nadeen. she's the local history professor. she wasn't technically a part of the scout team, but they took her on because she was a local who knew the area and the history of this location. i accepted her as part of the group when Team Captain asked me if he could take her on." Chanson admitted. "how is she doing?"

"She's weak. dehydrated but with enough rest and fluids she should be fine. i'm getting some strange readings though." Miranda admitted. "i'm going to have to take a few blood samples. it almost looks like she has a viral, or fungal infection in her bloodstream." she admitted. "they might have come across a poisonous plant of some sort down here." "can life survive in a place like this?" "of course. there are all kinds of plants and animals in the water underneath the ice. not to mention the bacteria and moss living int he glaciers themselves. being as how this cavern has been completely cut off for what was estimated to be three thousand or more years, who knows what kind of plants might have evolved down here." Miranda admitted. "it's just fascinating. be careful of ay kind of plant life you might find. it could be dangerous. inform me immediately if you find anything that isn't ice." she ordered. "even if it's not dangerous, it could lead to amazing scientific breakthroughs. there's no telling what could be preserved in the ice down here either. we might even find extinct animals or plants preserved in the ice."

In an attempt to break the tension James replies to Miranda's question, "Well I say it's certainly possible, I mean take a look at our sister. No matter what prank we pull on her she survives it and just keeps coming back for more." He tells Miranda as they tease their sister once again.

Martin gently taps his wife's shoulder as he tells her, "I hate to rain on your parade sweetie but I believe the patient here needs to get some medical treatment down at base camp before you go exploring the ruins yourself." He tells her, he knew how much his wife had been looking forward to exploring the ruins so the thought of having to wait longer must have been a little painful. "Anyway General I suggest me and my wife carry the patient back to base camp while the rest of the party continues to search the ruins for the Scout team. Is that ok?"

Elisa for her part largely ignored the commentary from the others. She nodded her head at the doctors instructions before asking, "Should we break out the gas masks in case something in the cavern could be spraying toxins into the air?"

James looks back over to her in surprise. "But Scout team already checked the air for toxic material and they didn't report finding anything out of the ordinary?"

"True but they weren't experts like ourselves, and if we're dealing with a bacteria unlike anything we've ever seen before it might not be picked up on our equipment?" Elisa counter before turning back to Miranda. "You're the expert in this field, what do you think? Our the ruins safe enough to explore without a gas mask or a bio-hazard suit?" She asks again.

Ananda snickered at that and Miranda turned to glare at them. "be careful, or i'll turn you into my next experiment." she warned. "i always wondered if a human body could accept the transfer of an animal organ. i'll test it out on your kidneys." she decided, which only made Ananda snicker even more. no matter how much they annoyed their sister, she would never turn them into an experiment. well, not unless it was psychological, but nothing long lasting.

"...huh?" she asked Martin, blinking a little before blushing. "oh. right." she sighed a little, pouting about not being able to look for rare infectious diseases. "i agree with Martin, it's too cold here for someone who is recovering. and i'm worried about these scans. i need to run a blood sample to try and see what we're dealing with." she admitted.

"yes. head back to camp. take one of the dog teams with you. and make sure to keep in contact with us. i want to know immediately if you find anything interesting." he ordered her. "if we find anything ourselves regarding fauna or flora we'll tape it off or contain it using bio-hazard rules for you to examine later." Chanson decided, turning to blink at Elise. her? being cautious? that was new.

Miranda nodded. "Elise is right that any new bacterial problems might not come up on scans. however, scans of Ms. Nadeen here indicate her lungs are clear. it's in her blood, not her air streams so you should be safe enough without a gas mask. however, when approaching anything that looks odd, i would highly suggest you use your best judgement and refrain from getting too close, touching it, or breathing too deeply. if you feel you must get closer, wearing a gas mask and refraining from physical contact is the best way to go." she ordered. "if you come across anything that appears to be leaking, it would also be advisable to wear a gas mask." she admitted. "cloudy air or foggy ares should also be entered with a gas mask. if only because the Scout Team did not analyze anything o the inside of the ruins." she admitted. "we don't know what dangers might lurk inside there, so be very careful." she ordered. "as long as you are careful, i think you should be fine." she promised before gently settling Sara onto a sled and wrapped her up in as many blankets as she could find. "i'm going back to Camp to see if i cant revive Ms. Nadeen. when she wakes, i will ask her what happened and foreword the report to you Captain."

"Good. see that you do." he ordered before turning to the others. "you heard the doctor. don't touch anything. if you feel unsafe, feel free to wear your gas masks and bio-hazard suits. it might be overkill, but if it makes you feel more calm then do so. we don't want anyone to panic while we're here. nerves have no place in a setting like this." he admitted. "if you find anyone from the scout team, inform me immediately and do your best to extract them if they are dead. if they are alive, do not move them. instead, try to make them as warm as possible and wait for Dr. Dover to return. do not, under any circumstances leave a survivor alone." he ordered.

Everyone on the team, except for Elisa, replied "Yes Sir," as they went out to explore the ruins. Elisa just nodded her head in acknowledgment of the orders before heading out to do her own research.

Martin helped Miranda pick up Sara and load her onto the sled and took her back to base camp, specifically the medical lab. Martin didn't really know anything about biology but he still assisted Miranda as best he could with her tests but there was only so much he could do. He was also feeling a little disappointed that he hadn't been able to look at the ruins himself but he wasn't going to leave Miranda alone here period. That's not to say he didn't believe in her, as much as her siblings made fun of her inability to fight Martin knew that she could take care of herself if she had too, he just didn't want to leave her alone in this place where an entire team of people just disappeared.

With nothing better to do Martin decided to have another look within the cabin that belong to the Scout team. The cabin looked fine as far as he could tell, definitely no sign of a struggle or that things had been moved around or place to look like it was clean. Martin gave an angry sigh at not being able to find anything and kick the floor of the cabin.....which caused a tile to come lose.

"Huh?" Martin asked to the air as he bent down and removed the floor tile completely from the ground, revealing a hidden compartment with a laptop in it. "Ok this is starting to feel like a cliché spy movie." Martin said aloud as he open the laptop up, sadly it was locked by a password.

Quickly returning back to the med-bay with the laptop Martin asked his wife, "Hey Miranda, didn't Ananda have to take a class on computer hacking during her training in the military?"

Before he could tell his wife what he had found moaning interrupts their conversation. "She's waking up!" Martin cried as he and his wife went over to the patient.

Slowly Sara's eyes fluttered open as her mind began to turn back on, "Wh-where am I?" She asks as she begins to get his barring back.

"You're in a medical bay. Could you tell us your name?" Martin asked the patient, testing her mental abilities.

"I'm Sara Nadeen," Sara says as her eyebrows come together; she actually had to think about that for a second.

Miranda checked Sara's pulse again, just to make sure before heading back to base. the medical lab was just another cabin really, but it had a lot of beds in one room and an office, and was so clean you could smell the antiseptic. "good, at least this place is been maintained properly." she stated, pleased to see the hospital cabin in such good repair. she watched Martin leave before she got started, he wasn't allowed to be in there during an exam, because the patient couldn't consent at the moment. once she was certain there was o broken bones, cuts scrapes or other odd injuries she carefully dressed the woman in a hospital gown and slipped an IV into her arm so she could get some of her fluids back. there was nothing else she could do but take blood samples and try to analyze the strange things in her blood. it could take hours if it was indeed something new. there was no guarantee that Miranda would be able to find anything out from the blood samples either. she looked up at her Husband when he came back in, giving him an all clear that he could come in.

"Computer classes? i think so, why? did you find something?" she asked curiously before turning to see the woman when the woman moaned. "easy. easy now." Miranda urged. "you've been in a pod for a few days, your going to be stiff and sore." she warned. "your in base camp, the Medical cabin. i'm Miranda Dover, the medical personnel for the Alpha team." she explained. "this is my husband, Martin Dover. he helps me here sometimes." she explained. "that's right." Miranda agreed. "can you tell us anything about what happened here? everyone is missing and no one has found any conclusive evidence. it's as if your entire team has vanished into thin air. what do you remember?"

"Base camp....." Sara says as she frowns again, thinking. "That's right......I was helping to do research on the ruins. I arrived yesterday.....wait something has happen to the scout team?" Sara asks as she comes more around. She even attempts to sit up.

"Whoa, take it easy Ms. Nadeen." Martin says as he stops her from getting up. He had a sneaking feeling about this but to confirm he asked her, "By any chance do you know what today's date is?"

"It's December 10th 2024 isn't it?" She asks, suddenly hesitant and not sure of herself. Martin glances at his wife, making eye contact with her as they think the same thing. That date was two weeks old.

"Just rest for a moment, me and my wife just need to chat about something but we'll be right back." He tells her kindly before he and Miranda moved outside.

Speaking in a low tone of voice he asked his wife, "What do you think? Amnesia? She doesn't look like she's lying to me but still, everyone from scout team is missing except for her and she just happens to have amnesia. It's a little convenient isn't it?" He asks his wife.

Location: Ruins

Back at the Ruins Elisa had made her way away from the rest of the group and was examining the ruins conducting her research on the structure of the place, what the material was made out of.

James was with his sister and the Commander as they explored the inside of the ruins, the place was massive with stairs and pathways that went all over the place, and abruptly ended for no apparent reason. "This is really fascinating guys, I mean the way this building is design could tell us so much about how the people who lived here thought, worked and even moved!" He told them as they rounded a corner. "Oh my god look at this guys!!!" James shouted out like a kid in the candy shop as he pointed his light at one of the walls. This particular wall had carvings, possibly built in to the place, considering the level of detail that was in these ruins.

The carvings showed what looked like people, and worms maybe, some kind of octopus? They also had round orbs on bottom, maybe eggs. "Incredible, they had drawings here. What do you guys think it means or shows? Some kind of ritual to their god? Maybe instructions on herding some kind of animal?"

Miranda nodded. "yes. the scour team is missing. we haven't found any hints of an struggles or bodies or blood, so at best we can assume they got lost in the ruins and froze or starved to death." she admitted, closing her eyes before shaking her head. "no. stay down. your very weak right now, you need to rest." she ordered Sara gently. "there is an IV drip, here. don't play with it or remove it. it's giving you liquids and nutrients that you need." she explained before looking up at Martin and nodding. "we need to call the Captain too." she admitted to her husband.

"hmm... that depends, really." Miranda admitted. "if something very bad happened. something traumatic ad frightening, her brain might have locked it away in a subconscious effort to protect herself. if there was a cave in, or an attack and she wasn't prepared to handle it, her mind might very well be blocking that information from her consciousness." Miranda admitted. "however, it's simple speculation, psychology wasn't my strong suit. i can only make guesses. there where odd brain wave patterns on her scans however, she might have suffered a mild concussion, or the stuff in her blood might be messing with her thinking ability. notice how long it took her to respond?" Miranda asked. "that indicates a brain trauma of some sort." she admitted. "whether the Amnesia is due to mental strain, or from whatever she is infected with i can't be sure, but i don't think it's a coincidence. especially if they placed her in that pod. the Scout team might have put her in there because she came into contact with something or was attacked by some sort of animal or insect. there's too many unknowns to make guesses. but i know she probably didn't get in that pod on her own." Miranda admitted.

Ananda was carefully keeping an eye on those she could, a cigarette dangling from her lips, hand on her hip holster, fingering the gun. she didn't like how they hadn't come across anything but ice. there was no blood. no body parts. in a deep cave like this, there would be no storms or shifting ice to cover that up. and even if Animals did come down there, there would be blood and body parts, or at least clothing. had the team been kidnapped? forced somewhere else as hostages or killed somewhere else? where the hell where the struggle marks? even on ice, there should have been scuff prints. there was nothing.

Chanson and Ananda both turned to where James was yelling, moving over to him, Ananda blinking a little. she had little interest in the ruins themselves, she had only come to protect her siblings so she had no interest in the funny little drawings.

"it can't be herding." Chanson protested. "there's nothing here to herd!" he paused when his watch rang and he pressed the button that would allow him to receive the call. "Yes Doctor?" he asked.

"The Patient is awake." Miranda explained. "but she seams to have a severe case of Amnesia. cause is uncertain but it's either from a hard hit to the head, mental straight, or the stuff that's floating about in her blood." Miranda admitted. "we're not going to learn anything from her anytime soon." she warned. "have you found anything at all?"

"no." Ananda admitted. "there's no blood. no signs of scuffles, no bodies. it's likely that the Scout Team was taken captive somehow and moved to someplace else." she admitted. "there's a weird drawing here though, i'll take a picture and send it to Martin before he quivers out of his panties." "watch what you say about my husband you two bit skank!" Miranda hissed. Ananada just smirked and headed up to take a picture of the funny drawing and send it to Martin's E-Watch.

"There's nothing to herd here now." James corrects the General. "But who knows what might have been here when these ruins were in actual use. These might be the only surviving records of an extinct animal that we might have never known to exist before." James told him in an excited voice as the general's phone went off. After hearing that the patient had awoken he looked down at his watch to see the current time. "General do you want to head back to base camp soon? It will be getting dark soon but we could continue searching for the scout team a little while longer, I don't think we'd be at risk of a snow storm trapping us but that would be more Martin's area of knowledge then mine." He admitted

Speak of the devil the General's phone went off again, this time with Martin on it. "Before I forget again, I wanted to tell you that I found a laptop. You're going to love this, it was in a hidden compartment in the scout team's cabin, like a freaking bad spy movie. The laptop is also password protected but I figured Ananda would have the rare opportunity to use her brain and crack it." He said wit ha sly smile, having overheard her comment about him to his wife.

"It might not start right away, after all it's been a while since she used it." James said joining in on teasing his sister.

"Oh James I got the picture Ananda sent, where you thinking extinct animal too?" Martin asked his colleague in an excited tone of voice.

"I was but I also thought it could be ancient deity they worshipped." James replied just as excited.

"If it's an ancient deity then it doesn't match anything I've ever seen historical wise be worshiped in this area. Still that doesn't mean it's not correct."

Elisa walked into the room, overhearing the conversation from where she was checking out the ruins. She had some mild interest in the conversation but she was mainly interested in the building itself. Still as much as she wanted to continue conducting her research she wasn't stupid. After an entire team disappeared once it could happen again. "Have you any ideas on what could have happen to the scout team yet?" She asks the general in a very direct manner.

Chanson frowned a little at that. "wouldn't there be skeletons then, or something?" he asked, confused. "well. maybe ot. they do look like worms, and worms don't have bones, you have to have bones to have skeletons and fossils right?" he mused. "what bothers me the most is how most of those stairs seam to lead to dead ends. no one makes stairs that lead to a dead end right?" he asked. "maybe we should consider trying to break the walls once we have a firmer grasp on the structure of this place." he mused, examining the drawing on the ice. "still, shouldn't there have been melt patterns? even as cold as it is here, there are warm months during the summer where the ice melts. shouldn't this place have melted as well? even if only a little bit?" all this speculation made his head hurt. "yes. we don't want to be here at night." Chanson decided. "the risk of getting lost is too great and if there is an animal hanging about, it's most likely nocturnal since we haven't seen any hint of anything." he decided. "if there's a creature at all, but i didn't see an foot prints in here either or a sign of a scuffle so if they where attacked, i don't think it was in here or at Base Camp."

"a Laptop?" Ananada asked, surprised. "a hidden compartment? it's probably full of porn." Ananada huffed, only slightly disinterested. this was like her favorite mystery novels. "i use my brain more than you do Fairy Boy."

"What did you call my husband?!" Miranda shrieked, making Ananada laugh delightedly before she glared at James.

"Enough, you can all chatter later." Chanson ordered before glancing at Elise and motioned to Ananda.

"there's no sign of anything." Ananda informed Elise. "there's no blood, no hair or fluids, no sign at all that anyone was in here at all. notice how our feet leave faint patterns on the floor?" she asked. "there's no sign of any other footprints aside from where we fund Nadeen." she admitted. "if i had to make a guess. i would say the Scout Team was attacked on their way to, or from the Base Camp and dragged off somewhere else or even killed right there. there's been enough wind and weather patterns, as well as snowfall to hide any evidence out there." she admitted, eyes scanning the white expanse. "i don't think we're going to find them." she admitted, crossing her arms. "we'll have to wait and see what Nadeen has to say about all this." she admitted.

"Right, let's head back to Camp and keep your eyes peeled. Miranda? Martin? keep an eye on Nadeen. it's a bit too much of a coincidence that she's the only survivor."

"not necessarily." Miranda admitted. "if she came across something potentially lethal, the Scout Team could very well have sealed her into the pod and then left her there to phone for help at Camp. those pods are extremely heavy, i don't think the sled dogs could have carried her back to camp. still, we'll keep her under close observation, we need to anyway with... whatever it is that's running through her system." the Doctor admitted. "Miranda and Martin Out." she stated before turning her E-watch off and glanced at Martin. "alright, let's head back inside and wait for the others."

"All excellent points General, and yes we do have to have bones to have skeletons; although not for fossils." James told Chanson, treating him as an equal and colleague in science. He says him on the back, "Still realizing what we don't know is the first step to learning something right." He says in a cheerful voice.

"You two will break down some of these walls over my dead body." Elisa comment cuts in coldly, clearly not happy with such a suggestion. "Just because we think of pathways to lead somewhere doesn't mean this culture did." She tells the two men, glaring at them a little as the party begins to make its way back towards the sled.

"I disagree, I think the General's statement is perfectly valid and worth looking into." James responded back causing the tension to rise a little bit as they took off back towards the base in silence.

"Right," Martin said in agreement as the two went back inside to wait with Sara for the others. Sara for her part seem to be recovering physically quickly. They talked for a little while about the ruins, and their different theories on it and what it could have met. "Well if you will excuse me, I have to use the restroom." Martin says excusing himself from the two girls, leaving them alone.

"Wow your husband is certainly an intelligent man. You're lucky to have found such a guy." She tells Miranda before suddenly giving her a sultry smile. "Or rather he's lucky to have married such a beautiful and intelligent woman as yourself." Sara tells Miranda as she places a hand on her leg. "So beautiful that I wouldn't mind helping her if her husband was.....unable to fulfil some of her needs." She says suggestively with a seductive smile.

Before the conversation can go any further the rest of the team finally arrive back. Sara pulls back and proceeds to act like nothing has happen as the rest of the team begin to come into the room to check on the patient. After the round of introductions Sara suddenly yelps, "Wait, I remember something! There was something the scout team leader told me that I have to tell you General Chanson in private, it's important information relating to the mission." She says excitedly, having finally remembered something.

As the two exit the room Elisa comments, "I don't like being kept in the dark about something."

"Well hopefully we won't have to be kept in the dark much longer." Martin says as he hands Ananada the laptop he found. "Do you think you can crack it?" He asks her.

Chanson nodded, he didn't know too much about sciency stuff really. that was what the others where for, he just kept everyone in line and keep them from fighting over who discovered what and the like. "if you say so." he agreed, shrugging a shoulder before smiling at Eliza. "only as a last resort." he assured her. "you guys have those imaging systems back at camp right? the ones that see through walls? bring one of those in tomorrow and find a dead end and see if you can't see anything behind them. if there is something, we'll have to find a way around the doors, or melt the doors." he informed her. "but we'll do that after we've explored what we already have, we don't want to bite off more than we can chew after all." he admitted. "that fine with you?" he demanded of Elisa, shooting a warning glare at James while Ananda jammed her elbow into his ribs to keep him silent.

"be careful not to fall in Martin." Miranda teased, as she always did since that one, ONE time he had been so overworked he fell asleep while doing his business and ended up, somehow, face first in the toilette. fortunately a clean one. "he is very intelligent, and quite silly too, he always makes me smile." Miranda admitted with a smile. "i am very lucky really, considering it was an accident we met in the first place." she admitted with a chuckle. "after all he was a History Major and i was in medical school, not a lot of chances to meet." she admitted before blinking a little. "i'm sorry? what?" she asked, confused, nearly leaping out of her skin when the hand touched her leg. it wasn't that she was homophobic, not in the least, it was just that she'd never thought herself pretty enough to be flirted with really. Martin was the only person who had ever payed that kind of attention to her really. and apparently there was now a woman, paying a LOT of attention to her, and she was a pretty woman to be sure but Miranda had never considered being gay herself. it wasn't as a frightening concept as she'd expected it to be and honestly she was now somewhat curious about sleeping with a woman would be like, not that she'd ever cheat on Martin, never! "Martin pays me all the attention i want!" she protested, annoyed that this woman thought her husband was neglecting her. she blinked when the hand pulled away and she turned to look at the group coming back in.

"Do you?" Chanson asked, lifting an eyebrow at the woman. "well then." he glanced at Miranda. "is she safe to be moving about?"

"of course, if she starts to feel Dizzy or suddenly tired she is to sit down immediately and sip at cool, but not cold water." Miranda ordered, snapping into doctor mode. "and you are to get me immediately if she displays any odd behaviors. we don't know how her brain is at the moment i haven't done the scans." she admitted. "i think she should be okay aside from the memory loss though, i don't see any external injuries that would indicate brain trauma." she admitted, watching the General nod and follow Sara out of the room.

"The General won't keep it a secrete unless it's something we don't need to know." Ananda stated simply, flicking a lighter open and lighting up her cigarette, inhaling deeply and blowing it out through her nose. she had worked the most with the General. sh had been a part of his specialty platoon in the military. "if we need to know he'll tell us. if we don't, he will give us the basics, just enough to let us know why we don't need to know." she admitted before cracking her neck and then her fingers and pulled out her bag and started, with brisk efficiency, started hooking in wires, cords and stuff into the computer, things that where connected to little black boxes and large green chips of some sort, the kind that ran nearly every single electrical object in the world. immediately the screen blurred, it buzzed and then it shut down. Ananda didn't seam to care, she just kept smoking, watching the screen and the computer which suddenly started up just like normal. she reached out once the password was asked for and hit enter and just like that, the computer was open for them. he swiftly went in, changed the password to Anandarulz and looked rather smug at everyone. "and there you go." she chirped. "what are we looking for?" she asked, examining he contents of the computer.

"so. Sara was it?" Chanson asked, handing her a glass of water she could sip if she started feeling dizzy and motioned for her to sit down in case she was weaker than Miranda suspected. "you remembered something? do you know what happened to the Scout Team? i'm beginning to get very worried about the fact that i have yet to see any sign of them anywhere." he admitted. "especially since i suspect they where the ones to place you into the life support pod." he admitted, examining her, head tilted. "are you sure your feeling alright?"

Elisa takes a moment to think about what the General said before nodding her head. "That would be acceptable to me." She replies.

James for his part kept silent like the military people wanted. If the General wasn't upset with Elisa's rude behaviour then James had no place to say anything.

"Thank you." Sara says as she accepts the glass of water from the general and drinks it. "Is it me or is it a little warm in here?" She asks as she readjusts her hospital dress, somehow revealing a lot more skin, including showing off her good sized breast. She laughs at his question on her wellness, "you mean besides from the missing memories? I feel fine, well if I'm completely honest I do feel incredibly horny. Like you know how you sometimes wake up in the morning feeling really horny? It's like that only ten times worst." She says with a laugh and a blush on her face.

"Honestly if you weren't here right now I'd probably be fingering myself right now." Sara continues, as she talks she moves around which causes the white dress to move up her body even more, showing up her perfectly smooth dark skinned legs. "But what I really want is a nice hard dick. God I've got such a bad craving for a dick right now. I wouldn't even know where to start with it, I mean I want to taste it, swallow it up completely in my mouth and give it a nice long lick with my tongue." Sara sticks out her tongue and licks her lips in a slow, sensual motion, lost in her fantasies.

"But I don't know if I could even wait that long, god I am so freaking wet right now. I just want a massive meat to pound the shit out of my pussy. To take me hard, right her and now and destroy my warm hot pussy." Sara says in an excited tone of voice, she lets out a light moan. Her dress has moved up even higher now, showing off her thighs, just a little more and the General would be able to see her pussy in all its glory. As was though he could see some of her pussy juices glistering in the light. It seems as if she has completely forgotten about why she was here in the first place.

"You'd be wise to trust less people." Elisa says to Ananda as she folds her arms and waits in the corner to see what's on the laptop.

Martin ignores Elisa as tries to answer Ananda's question. "Um, try secret files."

"Really, you think they'd name their document Secret files?" James asks in a teasing tone of voice.

"Hey, I'm open to suggestions here. I mean the only spy stuff I know is from movies." Martin replies. "Any maybe they named it that BECAUSE it's so obvious they thought no one would look for it."

The General nodded at her and then frowned, confused a bit. "it's not all that warm..." he muttered, checking the thermostat just in case. maybe the poor woman had a fever? "well i'm glad your feeling alright." he admitted before choking when what she said registered. "oh... er." he paused, what could someone say to that!? good lord she was still going on about it! now, Chanson was a man to be sure. but he was also a professional and he never had sex with anyone who he was in a work relationship with. he never, ever mixed business with pleasure, ever so the idea that one of the women who ultimately reported to him, trying to seduce him made him very, very uncomfortable. "ah... uhm." he stuttered, glancing down at her wet legs, wondering if it was possible to die of embarrassment? he shuddered when she contemplated what she might like to do to a dick, more specifically his dick and wondered if he was ever going to get that image out of his head? "...okay then! you stay here and i'll be right back!" he informed her, racing out of the room and slamming the door behind him.

Ananda shrugged. "i've worked with the General for years. we've saved each others lives more than once, if i can't trust him who can i trust? if there's anyone here i don't trust it's you... and Martin, squirrel man he is." she stated. "oh, and James of course, never trust James." she admitted, Miranda snickering. "and never, ever, trust Miranda. she takes advantage of people, never sign anything she give you or you'll find yourself with a new liver, probably a goats."

"pigs." Miranda corrected.

"whatever." Ananda shrugged before staring at Martin. "your not allowed to give suggestions anymore." she informed him before turning her attention back to the computer. tapping at it. "i'll do a recent history search and see what they where looking into the days before they went missing. i don't think we'll find anything on the actual vanishing act, whatever it was it looks like it happened very suddenly." she admitted, humming as she worked. "Alaskan history google searches. looks like they where looking up ancient stories too, like folklore and stuff." she admitted before pausing. "aha! a journal!" she chirped. "lets see here." she paused and looked up when the General came crashing thruogh the door. slamming it shut. "General?"

"....Doc? there is something very wrong with that woman..." the man was bright red, looking very flustered and appeared as if he'd just escaped with his life. "whatever is in her system it's not just affecting her memory. she.... she..." he flushed harder and blinked when Miranda spoke.

"she came on very heavy in an attempt to seduce you? yes i'd noticed that too, i thought it was a fluke, people just don't flirt with me, but.... how heavy?" she asked the director who coughed, embarrassed but dutifully reported everything that Sara had said.

"Hey, I am very trust worthy.......most of the time." James replied to his sister. "You're the one who favors the whoopee cushion."

Martin wisely choose to keep silent on this issue. However he could not remain silent when Ananda commented on his search suggestion. "It's a valid search option I tell you!"

Before anyone could look over Ananda's shoulder and read what she's found the general comes bursting in distracting everyone.

"Wait, what!" Both James and Martin exclaim, although for different reasons. James clearly looked excited by the idea, but Martin seemed more troubled by the news this Sara woman had come onto his wife. Both of them however quieted down as they listened to the General report what he heard.

"I'm sorry, but how's this a problem again?" James asks in a teasing suggestive voice.

"Is it possible that what's ever in her blood is messing with her libido?" Martin asks his wife in a more professional manner?

"Isn't it also possible that this woman is just highly sexually aggressive and active?" Elisa asks. "Don't you people think you're rushing to judgment here assuming that her libido is a symptom of some problem and not part of her natural personality?"

"Exactly, well in either case we shouldn't leave her alone so I will bravely volunteer to keep her company." James said in a very poor attempt to hide his real motive as he turns to face the direction Sara was in.

Location: Food/kitchen building

Sara had slipped out of the office through an open window when she saw the others were distracted discussing her. The cold should of bothered her considering she was hardly wearing anything but it didn't. Sara didn't really know why that was but at the moment she didn't care, an instinct of some kind was telling her what she must do. She moved quickly to the kitchen, and searched for the object that she was looking for and found it quickly. A water bottle with Ananda's name on it. Smiling Sara takes the water bottle and opens it up as she pulls out a membrane she shouldn't have. In fact it should have made her seriously concern to have such a thick thing but for some reason it didn't. Instead Sara grabbed her new package and began to jerk off.

She imagined what her cum would do to Ananda once she tasted it. Sure she would be able to taste something different in her drink but like a drug addict who was exposed to her first drug she'd crave to taste it again and then she'd be just like Sara is now.

Those mental pictures help bring Sara over the edge as her cock spurts out thick warm streams of her white liquid. Sara aims her cock and pours her liquid into the bottle. Once she was done she quickly closes the bottle's lid, cleans up, and then places the bottle back where she found it so that no one would know what she did. Her cock also shrank back into her body and vanished but that didn't bother her now. Her instincts told her to go back to the office before the others had discovered that she was gone which is exactly what Sara did. Hopefully she would be able to find someone to fuck soon, god she was sooooo horny.

"Yes, because i'm the one with the prankster magazine and fake poop in his bag." Ananda taunted James. "how many hand shocking things do you have on you right now?" she wondered. "he has an obsession with electricity i'll have you know." she warned the room at large. "it's very unhealthy." she glanced at Martin. "i already checked and it doesn't exist, therefore it wasn't a valid search option." she snarked. "leave the spying to people who actually know how to spy." she could only stare at the general when he came back out. the poor man, he had never been able to deal with aggressive women well.

"it's a problem." Chanson said, his voice dangerous. "because the woman's personality has done a complete one eighty. you forget, i have her files. the woman was incredibly shy, she barely spoke unless it was to explain the history of the place." he stated simply. "a person doesn't go from blushing every time they make eye contact with someone to blatantly suggesting that they want..." he blushed hard and he swallowed, cleared his throat. "i'm quoting her right now... 'want a massive meat to pound the shit out of my pussy'..... it's not natural!" he protested, Miranda scowling.

"you said she was so shy she wouldn't even look someone in the eye? your right, this sort of intense personality change isn't normal. James, sit." she ordered the man. "there are a number of things that could cause a severe personality shift. a stroke is the most common. however certain infections of the brain and a severe concussion could also cause intense personality shifts, though i don't know that anyone's ever turned into a raving sex maniac before." she admitted. "more than likely, whatever is in her bloodstream is affecting her personality as well as her memory there are physical symptoms too, though i can't make heads or tails of some of these scans, and her bloodwork! whats worse, i think it's contagious." she admitted. "the science part wont make much sense to most of you so i'll make it as simple as i can. whatever is in her bloodstream is more like a parasite, than a virus. i think it's transferred through bodily fluids if these results are correct. not unlike an STD. it's most likely affecting her brain, making her want to copulate, so whatever is in her system can spread."

"what, like those creepy worms that grow inside of a Snail and then make them climb a tree so they'll get eaten by birds?" Chanson asked, blinking when they stared at him. "what? i like Animal planet. how careful are we going to have to be?" he asked her, the woman shaking her head.

"i don't know. i think it will be fine so long as you, you know. don't kiss, or have sex, oral or otherwise with her." she admitted. "but i can't be sure. i need more time to run tests." she admitted, shaking her head. "Martin, sweetie? i forgot my water bottle, would you get it for me?" she asked hopefully, realizing she was thirsty. "as for Sara... i don't know if i can help her...."

"Grab my bottle too would you Martin? in the meantime let's see what the diary has to say." Ananda decided. "....fuck. it's not in English... James? Elisa, Martin? any you know this language? i'd run it through a translator but those rarely work right." she admitted, moving out of the way so the other three could get a better look, giving Sara plenty of time to get back into the office, the wind blowing away her footprints before anyone even got outside. since Miranda had gone to get her own water bottle.

"Aww," James said like a sad puppy as his sister orders him to sit back down. "Why do all the hot horny girls have potential brain damage?" He complains to the group.

Elisa ignores the man as she nods her head, now convinced that the group's conclusion was most likely correct. "Should we lock her up or restrain her in some way? If she has an infectious disease of some kind that's changing her personality she's a threat to us." Elisa says without mercy. She hadn't lived as long as she had by giving people the benefit of the doubt or sparing their feelings.

"No problem." Martin says to the girls as he gets up to go get their water bottles, not wanting to admit that he agreed with Elisa's statement.

"Jumping the gun a little aren't you?" James said as he looked over Ananda's shoulder at the journal. His face suddenly breaking into a huge triumph smile. "HA, it's in Latin!! HA, HA!" He shouts out as if he had just won some kind of competition as he points at his sisters. "I knew it, I knew me taking Latin in school would come in handy! And both of you laughed at me and said it was stupid!!!! VICTORY!!!!" He shouts out, as the middle child it was rare when he was right against both his sisters so this was an opportunity to rub it in that he couldn't miss.

Once gloating as done he got to work reading the journal. It was actually a little difficult since it had been years since he read anything in Latin but like someone learning to ride a bike you never really forget learning a language. He pulls up a world document and begins to write down notes on it to help him translate and piece together the words. "Let's see here, they were mostly just setting up basic camp and doing some general surveys of the ruins, you know, setting up the lights and stuff for us-and holy shit!" He shouts out in an excited voice suddenly.

"They found an egg, an actual freaking chamber with an egg in it!!!" He tells the group letting that discovery sit in.

Martin returns at this point, "What I miss?" He asks seeing the look on everyone's faces as he hands them their assigned water bottles.

"Hmm, it appears first scans of the egg showed no life signs......well considering how old it could be I guess that shouldn't be a surprise......oh god damn it, one of their crew tripped and fucking damaged the egg, freaking amateurs......he seemed to have gotten some kind of liquid on himself." James goes on to tell the group.

Elisa, growing a little bored of this turns to the general and asks him, "So how long are you planning to just let this Sara girl sit in your office without telling her anything?"

James also seemed to be getting a little bored of reading these notes."Immediate checkup showed nothing that unusual in goo boy......work continued as normal......following checkups show nothing wrong with goo boy, however it's noted that he's displaying a more confident and flirtatious attitude." James sits up at this point as he reads the new passage aloud. "While this could be nothing more than simple hormones and cabin fever, I've certainly heard much worst as my time as a medical professional in remote areas, it should be looked further into for safety reasons."

James grows quiet as he continues to read, and as he continues to read his normally upbeat and cheerful personality shrinks further and further away as he grows more and more pale and scared looking.

Miranda rolled her eyes and shook her head. "it's just because all the women you like are insane." she reminded him. "sexually aggressive women to that standard usually are you know." she pointed out. "i wrote a Thesis on it before YOU tart whinging little miss prissy." Miranda informed Elisa before the woman could open her mouth. "there is a difference between sexually open and sexually aggressive after all." she admitted before hesitating. "unfortunately, you are most likely correct. as aggressive as she is at the moment, it would be best if she where quarantined." she admitted. "we can't be sure she won't stoop to raping someone. i'm not entirely sure this is Sara Nadeen we're dealing with at all, we could be dealing with nothing but a parasite that has infested her brain to the point she no longer has any free will." she admitted softly. "we can't be sure, but at this point it's too dangerous not to take precautions." she admitted before blinking at James.

"Just read the damn thing." Chanson ordered James, a smile ticking at the corner of his mouth. "what, seriously? a freaking Egg?" he demanded. "that's not in any of the reports they sent me." he admitted, already flicking through his I-Watch trying to find any of the files that said anything about an egg. there was none because the team had thought that it would be a potential leak for the discover of a lifetime. since the Alpha team was right behind them, they'd opted to wait and inform Chanson when he arrived.

Miranda quickly filled Martin on on what was happening while Ananda opened her bottle and began to gulp down the water, pausing when she realized there was a funny taste to it. she scowled, examined her water and shook it a little before shrugging. it wasn't like she'd ever had Alaskan water before, it was probably supposed to taste like that. they all watched, listening with rapt attention at what James was reading before Chanson glanced at Elisa.

"once we know what's happening." he admitted. "we'll have more to tell the poor woman once we understand a bit more ourselves. just telling people half a story tends to get them all pissed off." he admitted. "we'll tell her what we know, there's no point in quarantining her without telling her why, she'll just try to escape." he admitted, Miranda nodding. "keep going James." he ordered. "we want to make sure there's nothing we're missing." he paused and glanced at Miranda who was writing that down, nodding. it was the same problem Ms. Nadeen was going through it seamed. "....James?" Chanson asked, moving over to the other. "...out loud please.." he asked. "a summery will do. what happened?" he asked. "or do you want Ananda to run it through the translation program?"

James looked up at the group, the playful attitude now gone as he was genuinely frighten. "M-Miranda you were right, it's an infectious disease, only so much more worse then what we originally thought." James said, he appears to be in shocked. "According to the Doctor the scout team didn't even realize what was going on until it was too late. At first it just appeared like a lot of the crew were just engaging in sexual activities, nothing that unusual, but then the activities themselves began to become increasingly more....kinky in nature. When a couple was caught fucking in the bedroom and refused to stop, even trying to encourage other members of the scout team to join them did the remaining non-infected members of the scout team realize something was wrong.

They tried quarantining the party members they believe were infected but that was hard to do according to the doctor since she couldn't find a way to identify who was infected and who was not. It only gets worse from their, the infected they had caged began to.....change. They became more physical stronger, tougher, and their outward appearance became more.....attractive. The male infected began to become more hour glass shape, their hair grew longer, and they grew breast as well as a pussy.

The female infected grew a huge cock. They broke out of their cell, or were let out, the doctor never figured out which. She states that she believed that the infected were still able to operate at high brain function. As in they could plan their actions, lie, perceive threats and react to neutralize them. She wasn't sure how much the infected's original mind stayed in tact, from interviews she did with them while they were still quarantine they were often times able to act completely normal. In fact they didn't see anything wrong with themselves nor with what they were doing. Although that could have all been an act.

She did note that the couldn't explain why they were doing something other then they just felt like it, nor did they feel the need to know why their bodies were changing they just accepted it. Once this was discovered the doctor and other members of the scout team became a lot more paranoid of each other since anyone could be infected and just acting normal. According to her research it would only take a single drop of sexual fluid, to infect someone although the more of the stuff they take the more quickly they change. And the worst part of it is that their fluid is still very much a contingent once it has left their bodies.

They sent out a distress signal but that's when the breakout happen, or that might have been why it happen. The transformed infected for the most part ran away to the ruins after they had destroyed the distress beacon.....except for one that....transformed further. It grew these tentacle like things from its backs and openly attacked the remaining members of the scout team, even raping one of them before the scout team was able to put it down and burn the body.

It was only once they had shown high level transformations such as that was she able to detect something odd in their blood. After that she said that she and the remaining members of the scout party were going to go after the infected that had gotten lose but first she was going to hid her laptop and then drug herself with a memory wiping drug so that even she wouldn't know where to look for it......in case, in case they got to her.

That's where the journal ends." James replied, letting that hang in the air.

Martin and Elisa looked at him in equal parts shocked.

they watched him intently, Miranda swallowing thickly, frightened by the look on James face. not much frightened James, not really. she watched him translate, going pale herself when she realized just how serious this was. "we need to put her in full on quarantine." she informed them. "we need to watch, very closely, everyone who has come in contact with her. myself and the General will need to be monitored twenty four seven as well as anyone else who came into physical contact with her. James, Elisa and Ananda should be fine." Miranda admitted, snapping into serious doctor mode. "she will have to be restrained into the prison center since the medical center probably won't hold her if the increase of strength is to be believed." she admitted, swallowing thickly. "i think that Nadeen is the person who wrote this. is she a doctor?" Miranda asked, looking puzzled, Chanson shrugging.

"i don't know, her actual job never came up. i only knew that she was the best in the area for the local history." he admitted. "she could very well be a doctor, i don't know. how do you suppose we should be monitored?"

"i honestly don't know." Miranda admitted, shaking her head. "if the infected can act completely normal, there's really no way to tll until physical manifestations start to exert themselves. which will be hard because i don't know how males will react to this..." she ran her hands through her hair. "we might as well just lock all of ourselves into separate rooms and dangle Elisa or Ananda in front of us to see who responds." she huffed. "those two are the only two i can be sure haven't come into physical contact with Nadeen." she fidgeted. "i don't think she spread her fluids too much but if she's as wet as Chanson suggested that entire back office is not to be touched, at all." she ordered, feeling frightened. what was going to happen?

"you said Te... Tentacles did you not?" Chanson asked after a brief pause, swallowing thickly. "do they mention how they put it down?"

"you can't be serious!?" Miranda gasped, her eyes wide. "you want to put down Nadeen?!" she demanded.

"yes. if this is as bad as it seams, we might have to. as well as anyone who also contracts the disease, myself included." he admitted. "we need to contact HQ as well and inform them to send no one else, that there is a highly dangerous infectious disease that killed off the entire scout team. that's all they need to know, the government will want to come in and make a weapon out of it otherwise. we have a small window of opportunity here. Miranda will do her best to create a cure." the doctor nodded. "if a cure cannot be found before she is infected or starts displaying symptoms then we will have no other option but to take the lives of those infected before we spread it to everyone else." Ananda even looked pale at this point.

"i'll find a cure." Miranda said, voice firm, serious, intent. "i will not let this get the better of us."

"the only question now is... how do we deliver Nadeen to the detention center without infecting people?" Ananda asked, examining the door.

"she can't just stay in there?" Miranda wondered, her head tilted. "she hasn't tried to escape."

"there are windows, the door is too thin and just because she isn't fighting now doesn't mean she won't later. Nadeen has to be moved into a more secure location. since i'm already most certainy infected, i will take her. Miranda will follow in the hazmat suit and clean up everything behind us using whatever she feels necessary."

"i'll do a layering. it can't be harder to kill than Ebola." she admitted. "we'll layer, first with fire, it seamed to work on the body of the first infected. then we'll pay acid down over everything she walks over. once that's done, James can follow with a mop loaded with alcohol. then we'll bleach the hell out of everything. we'll flood the floors with it and spray all the walls as well, especially if Nadeen touches the walls. "then, just in case, we'll flood the entire place with UV and Radiation. there is nothing on this earth that would survive a combo like that. if one won't kill the disease, then one of the others will." she stated. "we have plenty of the stuff we'll need." she thought so anyway.
