something my soul needs [lit. mxf + fxf. pm only]

• Charlie is my real name, but I have been using Charlotte as an alias for years. I'm 22 years old, and yes I am a female.
• I will only rp over PM's. No exceptions. Ask to thread over aim or the boards and I will ignore you. If I want an IM rp, I seek it out on my own.
• I have and use email, but I will not even consider giving it to you unless we've been writing together for a considerable amount of time.
• For example: we've been writing together for a month or two and have had extensive conversations out of character, and I enjoy writing with you.
• If you contact me and it is blatantly obvious that you didn't read any of this, I will ignore you.
• If you contact me with 'interested' or 'i would like to do [insert plot]' or something else that is completely half-ass and uncreative, I will ignore you.
• If you contribute absolutely nothing to the plot during the pre-rp conversation, I will ignore you. Get the picture?
• Real life rp's are my forte. But I also enjoy real life based plots with a tiny bit of fantasy or sci-fi mixed in.
• I only rp in the third person. If you send me an intro post in the first or second person, the rp will be over right then and there.
  • This goes for plotting as well. If you send me anything that includes 'I' 'you' 'me' or 'we', I'm not even going to respond. It's 'your character', 'my character', 'his/he', 'hers/her', 'our characters', 'they/their/they're', etc.
• Dom/Sub isn't my thing. I don't like it at all. So don't ask me to make my character dominant or submissive.
• Scat, vore, rape, excessive & extreme violence/force, snuff, bdsm - the usual no's. Just don't even ask. Because I probably won't even respond if you do.
• I rp both f// and m x f, and at the moment I have no preference. But let it be known to all you guys who play females - I will not rp f// with you, I'm just not comfortable with that.
• I do not play characters under 18. I do not play against characters under 18.
• I do not rp as real people. I will not be the Miley Cyrus or Selena Gomez to your original character. All characters will be fictional.
• Realism. Please be realistic. I don't want to read about your 6'5", well-built male with natural electric blue hair and silver eyes and a 17" dick. I also don't want to read about your girl with boobs four times the size of her head. No thanks. I LIKE REALISM/REALISTIC CHARACTERS - even in sci-fi/fantasy settings.
• My character won't hit your character. Your character won't hit mine. Got it? Plots involving direct abuse are not welcome here.
• I love putting faces to my characters but I do not ask or require you to do the same. It's just something that I enjoy doing.
• That's about it. This probably makes me sound like a bitch, but I'm honestly just done with people contacting me when they clearly did not read a damn thing that I took the time to write up.

* I'm not looking for Mary/Gary Stu's. Just give me well thought out, well rounded characters who aren't walking cliches or the epitome of perfection. Characters don't have to be damaged or broody to be interesting. Happy characters aren't 'perfect'. Happy characters have flaws and can be just as interesting as a character with a rough past.

*** By 'interracial', I don't mean strictly black x white - it is a reference to all of the possibilities and is open to pairing latinx, black, white, asian, indian/middle eastern, people of mixed ethnicities, etc. Don't assume that if you request an interracial pairing that it's automatically going to be black x white unless you specifically state that that's the pairing you're interested in right from the start.
