Hiroko Ueno couldn't stand it anymore.

He found himself in the middle of God knows where, uneasy about going ahead but sure as hell not going back. Lazily twirling the rope in his hand, he scanned the trail for a tree suitable enough. Hiroko had jet black hair that he wore moderately long, but kept combed back so it didn't overly cover his gentle, slightly handsome face. He was visited by a slight breeze but the weather today was very languid, almost as if the world couldn't bring itself to care about what Hiroko was about to do. Not that Hiroko himself cared, either.

He listlessly strolled through the countryside, unable to bring himself to appreciate the lovely day Mother Nature prepared for him. He used to enjoy days like today where he could lounge in a comfortable park bench with a good book until sunset, but these days his heart wasn't in it.

At long last, he found a tree to his liking. It wasn't a particularly large tree but it was weak and weary looking, probably due to its bigger neighbors soaking up most of the sunlight. Its branches were at just the right height for the rope, and he uncoiled the length from his arm in order to tie it up. Then something caught his attention.

A couple hundred meters away from his new favorite tree was an old, large inn. Bewildered, Hiroko pulled up a map of the area on his phone, but his phone couldn't offer an explanation either. He was utterly perplexed at the poor choice of location the innkeeper chose, but nevertheless he trudged on over to the front door and knocked. "Hello?"
