There's an old drawer with an old old lock
And the lock has a key that the eye cannot see
In the dark for now heark' it's made of glass
Instead of brass and if you turn it wrong it breaks
So take the key from under the cloth
And wait for the moonlight, and the passing moth
And turn it left, it sounds like it would shatter
But I assure you that nothing's the matter
Just trickster's tricks for foolish chaps
It turns right without trouble and without warning snaps!
So turn it left 'til you hear three clicks
And listen to the old clock's tocs and tics
And open it, finally, what you waited for...
It's empty, empty at its very core
But empty is not the same as nothing...
