The world that they lived on had not started out as their own. It had been a barren planet until they gave it live. It had been a wild planet while they waited for the ecosystem to establish and it had been theirs once it had. The people of Dazari had made a home out of this new place because of a war that had destroyed their own. This world now was flush with vegetation, with life and wonder and now another specie was said to claim it. They claimed that they had bought the planet before the Dazari had cultivated it. They claimed that they had bought the planet for a mining colony. The Dazari had been living on this planet for over five-hundred years. Now they were being told to move. The Dazari were not one to seek out conflict but nor would they allow themselves to be pushed over. The Dazari were not fools after all. They knew that the others had only become interested once the planet thrived.

So now they were at war. Their enemy claimed that they had stolen what was not theirs and the Dazari claimed they were only interested in stealing what others had sowed. The galaxy's only place to claim or buy a planet was light years away. The Association of Systems Selling and Habitation Agency of Tybress or ASSHAT had sided where the money had been and claimed that the enemy was right. So the Dazari had become planet stealers.

What had started out as a simply misunderstanding had now brought war upon their planet. What once had been a relatively neutral specie had now become one of war. This was the start of the one of the bloodiest wars the galaxy had ever know. War of Dakar.

The Queen, Empress, Goddess or Lady of the Dazari was a woman by the name of Zakaira. She was a cold woman, war had changed her into something horrible to all but her people. The powers of which she had used to shape the planet now worked for her against her enemies. The Dazari were a race that had an affinity for reptiles and plants. The gods that they worshiped were shaped like the snakes that the kept as pets and the plants they cared for.

Zakaira was no different from the rest of her race when it came to looks. She stood at a lofty six foot and had sensual curves and soft dusky skin. Her people looked almost disturbingly human with a few exceptions. One was the most obvious in being that their hair grew out in thick, rope-like tentacles. The longer one's 'hair' was the older and more powerful they were. Zakaira's hair nearly touched the floor and though they could move on their own, they usually lay dormant like human hair. The second difference was their long claw-like nails. Sharp and deadly, the nails on a Dazari could easily maim or kill depending on the amount of force that was put behind them. Lastly, the Dazari had a reason for worshiping their reptilian gods. Each and every man, woman, and child could take on the form of giant snakes. However only the royal line could take on the form of half humanoid and half snake. Like the gorgons in the old earthen folklore, these powerful beings could turn a man to statue with fear. And no one alive had ever seen a Dazari royal in their half form. Zakira was no exception to the rule. No one had ever bested her in her half form.

Sitting upon her throne now, the Dazari queen smirked, her lightly green-tinted lips. Plants on her planet told her of strangers coming to the capital. While most of the planet was wild, with good reason, the capital looked almost abandoned with the wild growth of plant-life. These plants spoke directly to those who could control them and while the invaders thought to land where the Dazari didn't inhabit, thought they could sneak into the capital. Well, they were fools. Dead fools when she got a hold of them.

Dakar had been bought and paid for by the Human race, ages ago, and despite how it had cultivated into a beautiful planet by the Dazari it was still owned legally by the humans. Negotiations had been long and arduous, and ultimately never got anywhere despite the generous deal the humans had offered. Ever since then war was inevitable, and day after day more and more humans were sent down, hoping to gain control of the planet, by the Dazari were not something easily tangled with. Plenty of humans had died or been captured due to their magic, and while there were some who had fared against it somewhat effectively in the past like Daniel, it was obvious that they were losing the war.

Daniel was the captain of squad 33, and had been known for taking on several Dazari warriors solo. Ever since he had always led dangerous missions with relative success, and his most recent mission was to infiltrate the palace and eliminate Queen Zakaira. His squad had slipped into the city under the cover or darkness, and had encountered very little resistance. The few guards they saw they engages silently, taking them out before they could realize, but as they got to the palace things seemed to change quickly.

As they entered they were almost swarmed, despite the fact that they hadn't seen any sensors or anything from these people, and yet it was almost as if they could follow their every movement. His squad had scattered in hopes of getting to the queen, and the first to arrive was Daniel, who busted through the main doors to the throne room.

He was dressed in the typical military gear for the humans, a tight fitted black undersuit, that showed of his physical frame fairly well, with several plates over the top which protected his vitals, his elbows, knees, and groin, with tactical rigging for all of his gear including grenades, ammo, a knife, and whatever else he would need, and finally a helmet on his head that made the suit airtight, and able to be used in space for a brief amount of time. On his side was a pistol, and as he looked at the throne he readied his rifle, looking for the queen.
