Hunting (delirious academia x Liam Dale)

Finding Milo would not be easy for Julian. Sure, as a were he now had a wonderfully vivid sense of smell. However that did not encompass vampires. They didn't smell like anything really. Death and quiet. That is exactly what they smelt like. And on the poorer streets of London that was a fairly common smell. So he was left wandering, hoping perhaps that Milo would be the one to find him. The boy didn't have much energy to travel much further than his home. Getting to another part of the city entirely would be a whole other battle. The male stepped forward with a strange eagerness.

After this full moon he was even more intent on finding Milo. He wanted to know more, experience more. He wanted to know he wasn't the only one out there cursed, despite the fact they didn't have the same one. After a while walking the male ran into Milo, quite literally, when he was turning a corner. Perhaps he could sense the vampire a little better than he thought he could. The man grabbed the other by the collar and pulled him into a nearby alley.

Julian looked rough, though still strangely beautiful. He was a little paler than normal and there were visible bags under his eyes. "Found you..." He laughed lightly and rested against the wall of the alley, panting where he stood. He didn't even look like he'd been running or anything. There was a goofy grin on his face. He didn't even know why he was so entertained by this.

"How fun is hunting isn't it?" Milo said smiling widely, eyes shining, he was amused seeing the lad grinning like that. Julian didn't take him by surprise, but he let the other believe he hadn't heard him, or smelled him from blocks away, it hadn't been pleasant for Milo though, the scent of the beast was still around Julian, it was weird, the night they met, its smell vanished as soon as he turned into human. Milo kept his distance, studying the boy, he looked the same, yet he felt defferent. He wouldn't say a word about it, he was so happy to see Julian again and he certainy didn't want to ruin their moment. Milo leaned against the wall, next to Julian, thinking. The night had been quiet so far, maybe too quiet, he couldn't sense the others no more, had they come back to the tavern so early? The vampire shook all those thoughts from him and glacend back at Julian.

"So..." He spoke after a moment. "You might have questions..." He wasn't in the mood for something like the other night, well... he was, but he certainly needed to pay attention to their surroundings. "I might have answers..." If the boy needed or wanted to know about anything he knew, Milo would be more than happy to tell him, he liked talking and missed it, Luca wasn't really keen to talk, and the vampire loved curious people as him.

Julian seemed to freeze a little at the mention of hunting. Hunting... What a question. He couldn't quite answer it, because it wasn't terribly applicable towards him. He didn't know, or rather didn't remember. He noticed the space that Milo gave him. The vampire hadn't been kidding when he said he wouldn't embrace the beast. It oddly made Julian a little angry, or at least a little hurt. He tried to keep that thought hidden though, his expression still the same smiling one. But he looked tired. Exhausted really.

He pulled himself up from the wall slowly, feeling like he'd been glued there. It really was risky coming out like this. He should have waited at least a few more days, until his strength was back. "Questions..." He thought for a moment, furrowing his brows. "Why? Why are you bothering with me?" That was a good first one. Straight to the point.

Luca had been following Milo from a close distance, not directly, but through some of his lesser minions, all recently turned and weak, bearing less presence than even a human being. No one knew he had this little army, and they didn't last much anyways, Luca always dispatched them after a short time, those nameless, little creatures weren't more than tools and toys for him.

Once Luca tracked Milo that night, from his lair, he watched him, walking around the city so eagerly, he watched Milo enjoying until the last drop of blood from his victims, he was so thirsty, Luca almost wanted to invite him to spend the night together, Milo was his favorite, it always have been, yet that might change, if Luca find out that Milo was really seeing the werewolf. Such disgusting creature, shapeless, mindless, filling the air with its smell miles around it, only the thought of getting close to that thing made Luca frown. Noticing a change on Milo's attitude, Luca sat up from his relaxed position at the long black divan. What caused that? A new prey? The vampire saw in his mind how that black haired boy bumped into Milo, clearly on purpose, and Luca hated him, it was him, the were... Luca was sure about it. Even his ghouls sensed the smell of the beast and feared it, many of them running away, such a bother, he would have to find them and kill them later. But now, there was no time, he needed to do something about this friend of Milo.

Luca seemed to get up, walked over the door and disappear from the building all in a single move, an only thought of him was almost enough to do as he pleased. And so, he was in seconds, standing upon Milo and Julian's heads, hearing their exchange of words. Outrageous... was the smallest word Luca thought. He was furious, hands fisted to the point of bleeding, leaving four small wounds on each palm that healed as soon as he released. The ancient vampire glared down at Milo and fought so hard to not just jump over him and slaughter him and then get rid of the creature. He had to admit, the human did look rather attractive, if it was a whole different situation he would definitely invite them both to stay with him. In that moment Luca grinned, a wide, twisted smile accompanied by a mischievous shine that crossed his eyes. He definitely was going to take them with him, only that not like the first way he thought.

Still with that grin, Luca jumped down and caught the boy under an arm, so easily, he was so light and weak in comparison to him, and then, after another jump he left Milo behind, sure that he couldn't see him. Luca flew across the city and out to the empty fields, as fast as he could, trying not to take in the smell of the creature trapped on his arms, and hoped the cold wind and the rain that had started recently would wash away that nasty scent, it was making him sick... the price one had to pay for not being a heartless thing.

After less than half hour later, Luca finally touched ground. He stood at the middle of a circle made with huge grey monoliths, the place of his birth, both human and vampiric, the old construction known as Stonehenge, but when he was born, the stones weren't there, they were still part of the earth. While the time Luca was born and during his human youth, the place was marked by simple, but big logs. But of course, there was no trace of those millenarian times, it was all gone, all vanished except Luca. He was the last one of a great, mystical lineage, druids, were called by modern people.

Luca looked around for a moment, ignoring the bundle of blood and meat that he was carrying. Soon, a few ghouls appeared, carrying logs and chains. He smiled and threw the boy to the ground, not as hard to smash his body, but he made sure it would hurt, a lot. "Good..." He spoke for the first time. His voice was empty, no trace of feeling, nor negative or positive, simply nothing, only in his eyes one could still get a glimpse of something other than the love for killing.

The ghouls did what he silently told them to, raise the two logs on the ground and braid the heavy chain to them. Once it was done, Luca glared at them, and then, they were nothing more than ashes. He chuckled, seeing how the wind cleaned the small piles and let the place unpolluted as it was moments ago. He glared the at the young man and grinned. "Do you want to feel that?" The vampire spoke inside the other's mind as he pointed at the ashes flying away. Luca walked over and wrapped a hand around the lad's neck, as he slowly dragged him to chain him to the logs. "Now dog..." He actually pronounced the words, eyes fixed on the other's. "We'll wait for the traitor to come". Luca jumped to stand over the logs and remained motionless, his eyes now wondering, taking a long view of what once were his lands.

Julian was about ready to sit down and talk with Milo, or walk away and forget about him. There were other worries on his mind than this vampire, and he'd never even been informed of Milo's 'friends.' Maybe if Milo had told him that he would have been a little more careful. He wasn't well versed enough in supernatural to know that vampires didn't have much problem being together. Weres were different. At least he had a feeling that he would never like to be in the same room as one such as himself. The boy frowned at Milo at the lack of instant response. He wanted to know, dammit! The hate between the two races was the only thing he knew, but even within that he had no idea the severity.

He wouldn't get his answer. Not yet. In an instant he was in the air, under the arms of a man much larger and stronger. Julian had even been stronger before the full moon, but now he was a shadow of himself. He couldn't defend himself against this ancient being if he tried. Even Milo could beat him within seconds in a fight. While he struggled at first, he calmed down after only about five minutes. It was the shock of being up in the air like that. He was out.

And then he was awake, still under that man's arms but now on land. That was consoling. Until he was tossed onto the ground so harshly. It warranted a broken rib at least. Julian let out a loud groan, his hands wandering slowly over the ground to find some holding before he tried in vain to shakily pull himself up. He felt the contempt in Luca and he didn't understand it. Much like a dog, he was now more familiar with emotions than a human. Though he no longer had the stench he did before. He seemed like a fairly normal human, in smell at least. "I-" But his voice wouldn't come, not yet anyway. There was a dull ache all over him. Fuck. He might not have been sitting up, but he did see the bit of show with the ghouls. Would he be next? No. That wouldn't make sense. Why would this man bring him all the way here to kill him like that?

"I don't understand." He growled. One thing he did understand, this man was a crazy fuck. "And I'm not a..." Julian squirmed as he was pulled up by the neck, sputtering and striking at Luca. They were all sad attempts and defense and it didn't take any time at all for the vampire to tie him there. That was one thing that Julian had figured out. Luca was a vampire. Or something. How fantastic. He'd been wisked off on some revenge tour, or tour of spite. And he had no fucking clue about any of it! He pulled at the chains, just testing their strength. Maybe if he wasn't so young he would do more against this. "You've got the wrong idea." He looked up to Luca, his green eyes flashing gold for a moment. "I don't even know..." It had to be Milo. "I don't even know him! I've met him a total of three times and-" He pulled heavily at the chains, a snarl leaving his lips. "Why is he a traitor?"

Milo was willing to help Julian as much as he could, prepare him, if he could, for what was waiting for him. And after what the vampire told him, the boy was still asking why was Milo bothering with him. Milo loved Julian, that was why. It was that dangerous, volatile love all vampires suffer from, a burning feeling that makes their hearts ache and turns their minds blind, filling them with greed and selfishness and the need of keeping the target of their love so close that they could blend.

He was in that moment in which one close his eyes and take air slowly, to say something as important as I love you. But the words were taken by Luca along with Julian. Milo knew it was him, he felt his presence, only for a second or less and then... nothing, they were gone. Milo climbed the building in an attempt to see where was Luca going but there was no sign of him. The vampire gritted his teeth, his breath turned heavy as he searched for everyone he knew, they were all in their own business. Milo tried to calm down, rushing like that he wouldn't get anything, the vampire then thought, stirring all his memories about Luca, every second the spent together, every word the other said. He knew only a little about Luca's past, but Milo was sure he had told him about the place where he was born. He knew how to get there, but it would take some time.

-

"I thought it would be harder to make you bark" Luca spoke sounding very disappointed from his position. Julian had confirmed his minimal doubts. But what the boy said enraged him once more, now that he was starting to calm down, Julian's lie made his blood boil. "You tasted his blood... I believe that is in fact knowing someone" Luca was jealous, after such a short time, Milo fell into this creature's charm. A kiss like that... He saw everything from Julian's mind, it was easy to do, a weak mind like his... Luca collected images and vivid memories since the day when the boy was born.

He wouldn't talk anymore, at least not to the thing under his feet. He would wait for Milo to come. Hopefully he would be there before dawn, if not, the whole situation would be postponed to the next night, Milo couldn't resist the sun. It would be quite fun Luca, spending a day trying to make Milo's dog whine, while he was buried somewhere, helplessly, watching everything in his mind.

While Luca might be able to read most of Julian's thoughts, there were ones he had no access to. Everything else was an open book. His spoiled lonely childhood. Overbearing mother and father. Everything was so clear. And then if Luca tried to look just recently, just to when Julian had been bitten or any times that Julian was a wolf, he'd come up blank. The spaces in between, with Milo would be obvious enough. But everything else was impossible to see at all.

"I didn't even... I didn't ask for him to do that!" Julian felt a little bad, talking about Milo like that. There was an undeniable draw that he felt towards the vampire. But he could not explain it or understand it. "What do you intend to do?" He asked, seeming a little entertained now. Surely he'd be killed after this, so what was the point of being silly and pleading for his life? "Do you love him? Are you jealous?" He laughed a little, some more amusement in his voice. "Do you plan on killing me in front of him? To punish him?" His voice was different now. Almost as if he was another person. Perhaps a little more of the wolf coming out. "How petty and predictable are you?"

"Your torture will be for pure personal amusement..." Luca sent the words to Julian's mind and said no more. He planned to study the werewolf, in both human and wolf shape, thoroughly, all its reactions to anything he could imagine, he wanted to know how the transformation occurred, he'd become curious and the simple fact of feeling something made Luca eager to start, but, having Milo to watch would be a bonus.
Punishment? Milo wasn't his slave to be punished, they had played along that idea a few times, but it was only a game. Vampires are immune to punishment, their only torture is living for the eternity. Milo was going to be judged by the ancients.
It was true that Luca was jealous, terribly jealous, he didn't want any other but him touching Milo, but he never did anything to stop him from having other companions either human or vampire, yet this time it was different, this time, Milo got himself with a filthy beast and that wasn't acceptable.

Milo was quite powerful, but not as powerful as Luca was, there was no way he could fly that distance, he had no other option than run. The vampire feared so much for Julian, he wasn't thinking about anything else, and as the eastern lands had started to be enlightened, the first and weakest ray of sun touched Milo's face. He'd never experimented such pain before. Milo fell heavily to the ground, obliged to dig with all his left energy and escape from the quick sun. The vampire digged his grave, the cold and wet dirt covered his burnt face barely easing the feeling, but it would heal, and it wouldn't leave a trace of what happened.

As Luca had thought, Milo did see them, he was close now. He saw Julian chained, and Luca standing upon him. Julian... he thought, sure his voice would reach the boy. Milo saw no fear on Julian and that was going to be the worst for him.

Julian stood there, the chains pulling at him just enough to bother him. But that wasn't what worried him. What worried him was the crazy fuck perched above him. And then he felt anger. Why the fuck hadn't Milo warned him about this? They'd seen each other three times and the vampire hadn't bothered... Or. No. Maybe Milo had intended on this happening. Maybe it was some sick vampire game, to capture werewolves. They were hated, right? So it wouldn't surprise Julian. The boy growled up at Luca, glaring forward into the darkness. But soon sun was rising, and there was something visible. The message sent to his head was only confirmation. Milo was nearby. And he was even within distance too, before Julian saw him vanish into the ground. How... Why? The boy swallowed and looked up at Luca.

"Why aren't you...?" He narrowed his eyes to look up at the 'vampire.' "What the fuck do you want with me?" He jolted forward, shaking the logs a bit, but not much. If anything he just ended up hurting himself on the chains. "What now...?" Julian looked tired. He'd looked under the weather before, when he'd met up with Milo. Sick maybe. Or maybe the moon had taken a lot out of him. He looked exhausted now.

Luca pushed the logs deeper into the ground before going down in a slow descent, ghouls aren't strong enough... If you want something done do it yourself... All those things came to his mind, he was a little annoyed. Seeing Milo hiding so desperately from the sun only remembered him the wide difference between them, he almost pity him, if only he was running to him and not to try and save this other thing.

"He was trying to protect you..." Luca spoke now glaring down at Julian. His skin was barely burning with the increasing sun light, thin white smoke curling around him and vanishing in the air, his eyes lost lot of their wetness, looking now more like white and yellow cork, his lips cracked as he spoke. There was no pain though, Luca could walk under the midday sun without much bother, yet he rarely do it, it was too... eye-catching. "How ignorant are you?" The vampire knew Julian didn't have to know anything about vampires, if he did, they were doing something wrong, but mocking him was fun enough to waste a few words. "Speaking to you about us... About me, would open his mind and let himself and you..." Luca arched an eyebrow "Exposed." He glared over the place were Milo was laying, maybe Julian knew it or no, but the vampire had fallen in a deep sleep, induced by daylight, Milo wouldn't see or hear anything until night. "But he wasn't the only one who knew about you." His eyes went back to the boy. "You should thank him, I wouldn't find out about you from him, you can be sure". Luca gritted his teeth as he spoke. It was treason, and from the one he never thought it could come.

“Was he?” Julian didn’t seem impressed at this point. How was he to be sure that Milo really was coming to help the werewolf, and not to come help out this… Man. He watched the smoke curl off the man and narrowed his eyes a little. He wasn’t bursting into flame… What was he? But the boy did feel guilty about being suspicious. Milo had looked too desperate as he was running. He had gone out on a limb to come to Julian all those nights. But even then the werewolf had never known that.

Why hadn’t he…? But Luca answered his question. The man stood there. Hell, he was barely a man. Maybe in some looks, but Julian was still very young to this world. He didn’t know about the harsh ways of it yet. Maybe this would help that. “Get to the point…” He was growing tired standing like that. Julian was putting more weight on his arms and the chains were pulling… It was incredibly painful. “You sure love listening to yourself speak, don’t you? I can see why he’d rather be with me than you.”

A slight show of shock appeared for less than a second across Luca's countenance, it was almost imperceptible, his eyes didn't show anything now that they were so dry, and his facial muscles barely moved. "I don't love anything young... man..." The words young man sounded full resentment. At his age, Luca simply had stopped feeling at all. He liked things, yes, there was people that attracted him and he enjoyed himself, but, feelings? They left him long ago, he was empty and it was extremely hard for him to find something that could bring his spirit up even a little.
But what Julian then said, did move something inside Luca, he became extremely impatient and decided he wouldn't wait for the others to come, he was eager to find out about Julian's other side. Luca couldn't believe he'd never seen a werewolf before, maybe it was because he remained hidden for ages and then he always choose cities as his home.

"Alright..." He said to himself as he studied the boy. Luca moved forward and bent over to reach for Julian's chin with a hand, his normally cold skin, now was warmer than the lad's, it slightly burnt Julian's skin, leaving a light red mark. The vampire's hand went down a little, Luca felt the boy's heart beat against his skin, it was better to hear it, but it felt nice, the quick pumping against his fingers, he pressed a bit. He walked around Julian, his hand now going further down his body, and with a single, swift motion, Luca had stripped the boy's upper body. Silken skin as it was expected, so soft, so pale, he could see the thin veins beneath that delicious, perfect skin. Julian didn't have a mark, Milo hadn't touched the boy, he was stronger than Luca thought and didn't succumb to the human who was covering the beast, that was something good, but, in the other hand, Milo didn't have much time to do something more... intense, now, it was too late.

Once he was standing behind Julian, the vampire placed his right hand on his back and slowly slid it down, soon, his nails were digging into the boy's skin, he did it as softly as he could, but the white skin was soon covered with thin blood threads slowly running down, Luca pulled his hand away, glaring with more disgust than desire now. It was dirty blood, a werewolf blood, but soon he couldn't care less, and his hand ran once more from Julian's shoulders to the small of his back. His skin tearing beneath Luca's nails was an amazing feeling, he wasn't going to get bored soon.
