Milo Tussaud had just woken up that cold winter night, beneath an old theater was his den and from there he could hear the attractive sound of night people, music to his ears, he delighted himself still inside his bed. A large ebony coffin, its inner walls made of the softer feathers and covered with thick red velvet, the outside had thin golden lines all around and the wood was perfectly worked, it costed him a fortune and it was hoped to last at least a century. Spending on this things wasn't a bother for Milo, but he didn't like to do it often, his income, as years passed was getting harder to receive, making up family heirs to keep hidden from curious eyes wasn't easy. Milo pushed the top of his coffin slowly and let it slide by the side until it touched the ground and then leaned it so it wouldn't fall. The vampire sat up and looked around the place that was abandoned after a flood ruined almost everything inside, old sceneries and dresses were all around, mirrors covered in dust and framed with spider webs, barely reflected the dim light that could get into the basement. He had been living there for a while now and was quite used to, sometimes going up stairs to sneak behind scenes and spy over the artist, never attacked any of them though, that would only make people afraid and suspicious.

Milo left his bed and proceeded to intern himself into the city, in search of food or interesting company, that at the end of night would probably become his nightly meal. Up to the tallest part of the building he went and sat at the edge of the roof, legs hanging as he swang them slowly. The cold wind brought to him the voices and smell from the people on the street and also an strange scent that caught his attention for a moment but soon his nose was filled with dark colored fumes and steam, from the growing industries all around the city, Milo inhaled deeply, a smile pulling up his thin lips, he loved that smell. He loved the Victorian London, the city was full of life and grew bigger, bringing people from everywhere.

After a while glaring down at the pedestrians coming and going, Milo put his eye on a group of young people coming out from the theater, beneath his own feet, the main staff had finished his job and went to a near tabern. The vampire stood up and decided to get closer so he could pick one from the varied group, but the moment he was about to let his body fall down to the streets, the scent came back. Milo frowned and looked around again, there, between the shadows of an alley, was a dog, hurt apparently, weakened by starvation, maybe. A nasty creature that would only cause him trouble if it stayed on the city, but seeing its state, it was tempting to go and find out more. Milo had always been very curious and this was something that never crossed his path before.

The vampire finally jumped and landed onto the wet cobbles, a quick glance around to check that no one had seen him was enough before he made his way into the darker places of the city, as he followed the creature's smell, closer at every step.

This was only his second or third turning. Julian didn't even know anymore. The male was young, in his later teen years that was clear. Well, not clear now. Now he was a dog. A weak and injured dog, something no one would relate to at this point. People had things to do. It was a nice Friday night. A nice Friday night, getting closer to the full moon. The dog state was simply because he could no longer hold his human shape. He was exhausted and struggling to even stay awake. The dog was big, or what would have been big. Clearly it owuld have been a nice looking dog too, if it wasn't starved and it's fur wasn't so matted terribly.

There was no train of thought that he could hold now, nothing except moving forward. Which was why he probably didn't see that person following him. Or why he didn't realize that it was not in fact a person at all. After a few minutes of struggling down the alley, the dog arrived at the open door of an abandoned warehouse. It quickly stepped inside, moving forward only a bit before it was replaced by a teenager. The human was not quite as terrible looking as the dog. He wasn't skinny, but not quite muscular either, though he had nice toned legs and a nice ass. He had longer black hair and wide green eyes, eyes that were too wide and innocent to have known this life for too long. He clutched at his own arms in concentration, gathering a blanket up around his naked form. There weren't many weres left. The one that had bitten him had abandoned him too, and he had absolutely no training on how to control himself.

And the full moon was only a few days away...

Milo kept his distance all the time and once he knew where the creature was going, between the shadows he moved and went into the warehouse, it was something fun to do, follow someone or... something in this case, the vampire enjoyed himself going after unaware people. From far behind he saw the werewolf return to its human shape, he really didn't expect someone so young, who could turn someone barely reaching the adulthood and more, leave him alone to his fate. Milo shook his head, and his normal serious face returned, this wasn't a kid left by his parents, it was a were, competition and maybe, some day, a menace. He couldn't let the young man turn again, but killing him, from his position would it be too easy, boring. The vampire took his time to stare at the naked lad, definitely his type in looks, but a bit too young. Milo thought what to do for a moment, ignoring the other as he was perfectly hide, a short time passed and a wide grin appeared on his face.

The vampire got as close as he could to the boy, still behind shadows, but wasn't more than a few feets away, and cleared his throat to let the other know he was there. "Have you lost your master?" Milo spoke slowly, his voice echoing inside the big empty building.

Julian was surprised at the sound of the man's voice, to say the least. He jumped up, though settled back down and tried to play it cool when he realized he wasn't going to be attacked. Not yet however. He swallowed and narrowed his eyes at the commentary. Lost his master? He had no master! That coward had left. But he wasn't going to say that.

"What Master?" He sat up a little, raising an eyebrow at the vampire in the shadows. He growled loudly when he felt a stab of pain in his side. "Where's yours?" He snarled in response, looking away from the vampire to feign that he was unafraid.

Milo chuckled, the boy's acting wasn't bad, but he could see through him and more than just his face and pose, the fast heart beating was a clear sign of his startled. He stepped forward and stood in front of the other for a moment before leaning closer to stare directly at those shiny green eyes. The kid had some gut talking like that to him, and the vampire found it quite amusing, getting rid of him it would be harder than he thought, maybe he just needed to wait until the full moon to kill him while he was no more than a beast, and before getting too attracted to his human form. Seeing the young man in pain did stung him a little, may be more than he expected, but distance was needed, at least for now.

If by master, the boy was talking about a creator, Milo barely recalled his, a few blurred images remained still in his mind, at the distant lands of what was known as Egypt. It had been a long time since the last time he heard from his predecessor, but he couldn't care less, he learnt everything from him that was for sure, and when they decided to separate their paths he was more than ready to live by himself.

"Vampires don't have masters... Dogs do..." He spoke mockingly and grinned, letting his tusks on sight.

That was the first time he had gotten that insult, and honestly it probably wouldn't be his last. This was the first time he came into contact with another supernatural after all. But it made his blood boil far more than he could imagine. He paused for a moment, taking that comment in before he darted up, his fingers going straight for Milo's throat. Julian already had anger issues. Having this heightened animal instinct would not help at all. In fact it would probably make it worse.

"Don't." He practically snarled in the vampire's face,. "Don't call me that!" If by chance he could grab the vampire's neck, he would have tightened his grip then. Sure, he knew he would face trouble, but not this soon. And not from a vampire. He could smell the difference on him now. He was not human.

The boy had jumped up so quickly that he didn't realize the old blanket fell down around his ankles.

The vampire didn't move as the other came at him, he felt the warm fingers around his neck and the poor demonstration of strength was sincerely... disappointing yet expected, the lad seemed like he didn't work a day of his life, he was probably the son of a big shop or factory owner. Milo stood straight once again, sighing slightly as his hands went up to set his neck free from the other's grasp and pulled the boy up with him. Leaning his head a bit he looked down slowly, then back at the boy's eyes. Certainly, he was something Milo would have craved many nights, it was a shame his perfect body would last for such a short time, the simple idea of having him turning in front of his face made Milo shiver in disgust and loose the other's hands and moved away.

He tried to ignore it, but there was something about the young man that draw him greatly, and not in the same way as the first time he sensed him, at that moment, when he decided to follow the dog, he expected no more than a skirmish or just killing the other quickly. But as soon as the human appeared and the nasty scent went away, Milo was caught by him, and that wasn't easy. He had had many companions before, but most of them were left alive and kept for either pity or convenience. Adding to the boy's appearance, his character was rather fitting for Milo, he loved someone that could talk back at him in the same terms or worse. Men working at the Thames small trading harbors were like that, but he had started to ran out of them and changed his hunting grounds.

"Tell me a name... and I might won't call you like that" He finally spoke, glaring at the other, now he was standing beneath the light coming from a broken window, his yellow eyes shone as he took another view to the young body in front of him. Milo was definitely being too soft, instead of wasting his time there, he should be hunting, sitting at that tabern with the actors and actresses

Julian squirmed when the other removed his hands from his throat. How easily Milo did that. It was impressive and frightening. The boy ley out a defensive growl, his eyes moving up to the man. Milo was not a man. He was nothing more than a shell. An ancient being that was probably sick of being alive, or a little bored at least. Julian wasn't thinking that though. He wasn't smart enough to consider the situation. He was still young, and he had two very strong forces pulling at him.

"Julian." He brushed himself off aggressively when Milo finally let go. Why had the vampire followed him here? Probably to kill him. Julian knew that much. Vampires and werewolves hated each other. "Will I be graced with your name?" He spat sarcastically, pulling the blanket around himself again slowly. He wanted to yank it up and hide himself, but he couldn't show his embarassment. A dog never showed their stomach, not unless it was to an alpha.

But the look he'd received... it was so unfamiliar to him. There was something in the way that Milo looked at him, the same way he might appraise a vase. Seeing what it's worth was. "Why did you follow me?"

Milo chuckled as Julian pulled back and asked for his name. The boy had a nice name according to his time. The vampire took a moment before speaking again and with a short bow, yet a slightly mocking glare he introduced himself "Milo Tussaud..." He loved the sound of his current name, as time passed, the vampire thought it would be a good thing to change his name from time to time, a way to keep somehow updated and also not raising any kind of doubt on him, a name heard for too many years wasn't normal. He took this last one from a victim, it was a man coming back from the far lands of India after many years and presumed dead, it had been highly convenient for the vampire at that time, when he had been using his former name for almost a century.

"Why indeed..." Milo wondered to himself, being honest to himself, during the few minutes around the boy he had become so confused that wasn't sure anymore. The first idea was killing the beast, second idea... there wasn't, he didn't even thought about feeding from Julian. Milo shrugged and smiled widely, happy that he didn't have to hide his tusks. "I guess I just wanted to pet you" If he couldn't get anything else from Julian, teasing him like that would be fun enough.

Julian was trying to collect his thoughts. Thoughts that were very loud and boistrous, each one telling him to turn around and rip Milo's throat out. Which was honestly really what he wanted to do. It was only a few days to the full moon too, and that honestly really put him on edge and made his anger stronger. He drew the blanket around his shoulders and let out a breath. If this vampire wanted to kill him, he'd probably do it already. So what did Milo want?

The answer made him charge back towards the vampire. Fuck the blanket. He didn't care anymore. He shoved the man against a crumbling old pillar. He was not a dog. He was NOT a DOG! He was a wolf. He wasn't beneath this man because he was younger or a different breed of supernatural. "Pet me?" He growled, his face drawn close to the Vampire's. "Well you didn't, you fuck." He shoved again and stepped away, kicking a rock with his bare feet. "And you won't. Strangers who pet dogs they don't know get bitten."

"Oh..." Milo widened his eyes a little, faking his surprise as Julian pushed him, his eyes flashing with the boy's body so close to him, he felt his warmth, his blood pumping through his veins... delicious, but as soon as the other moved away, the vampire wiped the dust that fell over his coat and hair, brushing his dark curls back. Milo leaned his head slightly, it was a shame, his blood probably wouldn't taste good anyways, he was contaminated after all, the vampire frowned.

"I'm quite used to be bitten..." Milo said shrugging and showing a small twisted grin. He flashed toward Julian and stood just a few inches away, he looked at the boy, half of his mind wanting to keep teasing him, the other half eager to touch his warm skin again. In a normal situation, Milo would have taken Julian with him, maybe kept him for a while to finally kill him, turning people wasn't exactly his thing, the vampire wasn't keen to earn a beloved one's hate over something that wasn't more than a selfish act. Killing them at his own will was selfish too, but he wasn't condemning no one to an eternal life, that was a very personal decision.

The vampire finally moved forward, his chest now against the naked skin, Julian's heart beat and breathing felt utterly good, Milo smiled, his mind forgetting for a moment what the boy really was, as his hands went up to Julian's cheeks, his long fingers cupped the boy's face, his thumbs brushed slightly the other's cheekbones. He remained that way just for a few seconds, hearing some drunk tramps coming their way pulled Milo away from whatever he was thinking. "Follow if you can..." He whispered to Julian, now glaring back toward the open entrance, the men were close.

Milo jumped quickly to the broken window and gave one last glance to Julian before leaving the place, if the boy wanted or was able to follow him fine, if not, they would meet again some night.

Julian couldn't tell what Milo's thoughts were. He didn't even really understand what the vampire wanted from this situation. He didn't yet get that maybe, just maybe Milo was bored, and that he was just teasing Julian to try and get a rise out of him. After all, Milo wouldn't drink from him. He knew that much about vampire lore. Something like they were afraid of being killed by poisonous blood. Milo might be surprised though... Julian wasn't exactly what he thought he might be.

"Oh, I thought you were more used to biting." The teen answered, collecting his thoughts as he closed his eyes for a moment. And then the vampire was there. Right in front of him. Some kind of trick, for sure. That would have been okay, maybe, were Milo not so incredibly close to him now. Pressed right up against him. "I-" The smile was foreign to Julian. He didn't understand what it meant. Was it an empty thoughtless smile? Or was there some other intention behind it? His breath hitched a little when the hands were pressed against his face. "What.."

There was no way that Julian could follow Milo. He was still too sickly and too disturbed to understand why he should or shouldn't. So he just stood there. The boy pulled the blanket up around his shoulder's and shoved the tramps out of his way, stepping off into the street.

xxx

It would be quite a few nights before Julian was outside again. Once he'd arrived home his parents were absolutely furious. He'd been banished to his lavish bedroom. His father was one of the most well respected doctors in London, and his mother was a high class socialite. The next time he was on the street was boarding a carriage, or rather, being requested to board a carriage. "No!" He shoved one of the helpers away, stepping back with rolled eyes. "I won't. Tell mother I simply won't."

What Julian said to him echoed for a moment in his mind, as he made his way to an old tavern at the river's edge, no more than a swift shadow going from one roof to another as he advanced. The boy didn't know, didn't have to know really, the vampires likings, some of them fixed their eyes on humans as simply food, others took them more like companions or even pets and others, like Milo, enjoyed both vampire and human company in the same way. Milo reached the tavern and walked in, the dim light of the candles soon let see the reason why Milo was used to be bitten. Luca was lying at a big divan and raise his hand to Milo, calling him, Milo stepped deep into the place as he took off his long coat and rested his body against Luca's.

The place was well disguised to the human eye and protected. The meeting place of all vampires and a sort of sanctuary, if there was any kind of rivalry between someone it had to be forgotten. There Milo's kind enjoyed the humans that were willing to go with them and be shared with the others, most of them going only after money or drugs, the poor lads and lasses from London handled the rumor of the place and the easy money and made it spread through certain streets, making everything easier for the vampires. Of course, once one was bitten, let alive or not, wouldn't be set free again.
Milo spent his night there, forgetting about his encounter with Julian, the blood offered to him from a young lad, was filled with alcohol and opium, a perfect mix to spend some good times around friends, and his night flew quicker than he would've liked it. Followed by the morning light he went back to his place, rather pleased, his thirst sated.

Nights later, while the vampire was on his own comings and goings, he decided to make a trip to the best part of the city, the blood at the tavern was good, but rich clean blood was even better, very fitting for cool and windy nights like that one was. Milo didn't bother in hiding at that part of the city, rich people never paid attention to their surroundings and seeing a well dressed man walking down the street wasn't alarming at all, he did avoided to stand under the lights, someone could think he was a bit too pale to be normal. Turning at a corner, Milo saw a carriage waiting at a door, servants were all around, his pace became slower as he got curious about who was going in or coming out the carriage. Before seeing him, Milo recognized his voice, it was Julian.

Milo passed unseen by the help and took Julian with him, laughing as he turned back to see the people's faces as they saw their master disappear. The vampire finally stopped, they were at a near church tower. He checked he hadn't hurt Julian's arm with a brief motion before saying anything. Milo brushed his messy hair back and looked at the young man. "We met again" He spoke with a solemn voice. He was somehow happy to see him again, but inside he knew he should do something about it, Luca already knew about him and he wasn't so permissive as Milo was, when it was about strangers.

Now that he was cleaned up and sharply dressed, Julian was very handsome. He had a wonderfully arranged face, with wide green eyes and a young yet somehow mature face. Maybe the mature wasn't in his features so much as it was in his gaze. He'd seen some things, that was clear. But whether it was because of his condition or because of the state of life he'd lived wasn't clear. He was just about to walk off when he was wisked away by someone. One of the servants cried out to him, but he motioned to them that he was alright. His mother would be aboslutley pissed.

Good.

The boy raised an eyebrow at Milo. He didn't seem so angry now. More relieved to be away from the others, that was clear. "Mn. I suppose we do. You just /happened/ to run into me?" He asked and then drew away from Milo. He looked mildly amused. "This wouldn't be the first time you've followed me." He answered, stepping ahead of Milo. "If I were to go out on a limb, I'd say that I have a bit of an admirer."

"Not at all..." Milo spoke coldly. "I was hunting and saw you there..." The vampire looked at the boy, his eyes flashing golden, Julian was the best he'd seen in a while, and he was right, the boy came from a wealthy family. After a small inner fight Milo spoke again. "You'll be found, and killed" He said as he looked away. He shouldn't be doing this, the beast would come out and ruin everything and if the others find out about their little encounters Milo would be dead. This was getting too hard, he never had any trouble at the moment of killing someone, either human or vampire and in this case, the kill was effectively needed. The werewolf couldn't survive.

Milo made his mind after what seemed to him a short time, he was ready to simply push the lad and let him fall from the tower, he turned toward Julian, their eyes meeting once again, and it was impossible. The vampire bit his lip with a fang, frowning, it was so frustrating. Milo sighed heavily and leaned against the belfry, his head slightly tilted up as he observed the stars. Killing the human was not an option, unless Julian gave him a very good reason, but he didn't see what the boy could do to make him so angry. Killing that nasty stray dog was his task, even if no one told him to do it, Milo didn't want anyone else to do it, he wanted Julian for himself and he wouldn't let anyone get close to him.

"You shouldn't live with your family anymore..." Milo talked glaring up at the stars, he spoke softly, almost to himself but he knew Julian was able to hear him. "That thing will come out and kill them all" More than an advice, it was a lure, to see if there was a way to make Julian leave with him, so he could wait for him to turn and then kill it.

"I'm sure." Julian responded smartly, but he could sense the difference in Milo's voice. This was not the amused vampire he'd met a week ago. This man was thinking about something. Considering something. It seemed he was actually upset for Julian? Was that the case? It was almost laughable. They hardly knew each other. Though there was something that struck him about Milo. Something he couldn't hide from himself. Part of the boy was glad that Milo had 'found' him again.

It was probably just that he wanted some kind of attachment to the supernatural. He was one now and Milo was the only one he'd met since the one that bit him... Milo was his only link to this new world. The one that Julian really belonged in now. The boy didn't know the vampire had been considering killing him all along. And even if he did know that, he wouldn't understand why.

"That's not a problem. I needn't worry about them." He spoke different now, clearly back into the mode of being the son of a rich man. "Not that I really care for them that much anyway. That beast would be doing them a favor. And I'm not too attached." He laughed and put his elbows on the guard, looking down at the city.

Julian's answer surprised Milo, he certainly didn't expect the boy being so cold minded toward his family. When he was turned, Milo left his family that very night, not saying a word, he just disappeared, always returning though, from time to time to check on them. Sadly for the vampire, time wasn't the same for him as for humans, and each travel back to his home took more time, until finally there was no one to care for. Milo didn't think bad of the boy for that, it actually made his questions about him to come back, the vampire wondered what other interesting things would this boy have to say.

"Then..." He said, turning now toward Julian. "You won't mind leaving that neighborhood for good, and avoid ruining one of my favorite places... People will be on their guard if a giant rabid dog slaughters an entire family..." He said that as he glared down at Julian, his voice full of rejection yet his eyes showed a great desire. Again those encountered feelings inside him, making Milo confused, he was so sure about he was going to do and now, there was no way he could do it. Still with his eyes on the other, Milo fisted a hand hitting the large bell at the top of the tower, causing a rumble, the belfry trembled, small pieces of masonry fell to the distant frosty grass around the sacred building.
Milo caused everyone on the streets and houses to startle and look up toward the high place, the birds sleeping at the walls crannies flew away making a big circle around before going back. They weren't more than barely detectable silhouettes, no one would expect to see people up there and if someone did see them, would probably thought it was a trick of the mind, either way, the vampire didn't care, he could just vanish and go somewhere else.

He sighed closing his eyes, as he tried to calm down and think again. Julian spoke like he wasn't worried about what could happen to him, but Milo wasn't sure if the boy was sincere. Most probable thing, Julian was simply boasting, if he'd developed some kind of pride about what he was.

Julian was more confused about what he was than anything. He didn't yet fully understand the responsibilities or the pain that would come with his disease. He couldn't live life normally anymore. That he understood already. He craved meat. He enjoyed chasing cats. Those were already signs of a strange new behavior. The boy simply watched Milo. If he were a little more smart he would understand why the vampire was having this inner battle.

He would know that Milo was planning to kill him. It was pretty plain to see anyway. But Julian was still interested in having another supernatural with him. "I won't be killing anyone." He answered, looking up to the vampire. He was looking down at some people below. They were so small now... prey.

"This all seems to bother you a lot." He spoke moments after the vampire unleashed his punch. How was he supposed to respond to that? The boy stepped back a little, his eyebrows furrowing. "Why did you bring me here?"

Milo had crossed his arms, a deep frown made his face look almost as if a mask had been placed upon his normally perfect countenance, he took a long deep breath before glaring back at Julian "Why?" He asked in a deep voice, Milo's eyes flashed in anger, wasn't it obvious? Wasn't Julian able to read him? He wasn't hiding anything from him, the idea of killing him maybe... but not his feelings, or his attraction. Was this young man so naive? That made Julian incredibly attractive, and the whole situation so frustrating. Did his creator went through all this when he and Milo met thousands years ago?

The vampire stepped forward, slowly, as his arms went up to grasp Julian from his shoulders and pushed him against the bell tower. His motions might have been slow, but Milo put a rather big amount of strength, his fingers clutched the boy's flesh, his nails almost tearing the clothing. Milo moved forward once Julian was caught and pressed his body against the other. He let go a long soft moan losing his mind at the touch of the lad's warm body, and his nostrils absorbed the nice human fragrance, a tantalizing mix of sweat on his skin and blood rushing through his veins. Milo leaned down to brush his cold, marble like face against Julian's hair, softer than the best silk he'd ever touched. After this moment of personal rejoicing, he looked into Julian's eyes, his face emotionless, yet Milo's eyes showed his feelings as their bloomed inside him. There was no going back, Julian had conquered him.

One hand lost its grip as Milo brought it up to cup Julian's cheek, the same way as he did nights before, the same light and tender touch, contrasting greatly with the possessive demonstration from moments ago. His fingers ran down the young man's face to lift his head slightly from his chin as Milo leaned in just enough to align their mouths, and as he moved forward to close the already thin gap between them, his other hand finally let go Julian's shoulder to go around his back and press him even closer, Milo didn't want the slightest distance between their bodies. Then, pressing his lips over Julian's, the vampire ran his tongue against his fangs, soon the blood poured out and with a small push, Milo slid his bloodied tongue into Julian's mouth. The feeling of Julian's inner warmth felt as the most arousing thing in the world, his breath, his heart beat, his taste, Milo pressed harder, deepening their kiss, not caring if he was corresponded or not, Julian didn't have the strength to pull away from him. He trapped Julian more, with a knee between his legs, softly pushing up and slowly grinding against him.

Julian had not that much of a life lived. He hadn't yet mastered noticing the nuances in people's behaviors. And being the son of someone wealthier, he'd only really experienced flirting and that type of behavior in very scripted settings. Those factors played into his obliviousness to the situation, but his pure thoughtlessness did as well. Not that he wasn't smart, he was! But he was just... He was missing some interactions that most people his age might have already had. The repetition of his question was about to arise a rather aggravated answer from Julian, until he watched the vampire move over him.

Milo was a bit taller, which normally wouldn't have intimidated Julian. Tonight it did. Tonight at the top of this bell tower he felt like a complete boy. Here he was with an ancient creature... Someone who had probably killed people a thousand times over. What was holding him back now? It couldn't have been fascination, at least from what Julian thought. As far as Julian knew, vampires hated werewolves. Though honestly he didn't know a lot about any of the paranormal... Not more than what he'd read, and honestly he didn't even trust that. The boy froze as he felt the vampire's strength. He wouldn't fight it. Not yet. There was no reason to fight, no sign that Milo would kill him. Though the sudden aggressiveness did hint at something along those lines. When he heard the noise come from Milo's lips though, he knew it was something else. Julian was a little relieved. Though he had no idea the internal struggle that Milo was now facing. This was not such an ultimatum of a situation for Julian. He didn't know what was at stake, or even why they were here.

"I..." He spoke softly as Milo lifted his chin, unsure of what to say or do. The boy was so different from the confrontational defensive dog that Milo had met the other night. "A-ah.." The sound slipped from his lips involuntarily as the vampire pulled him forward, their bodies so close. He hadn't been this close to anyone in a long time... Not like this. A soft sound left his lips as they were finally pressed against Milo's. Was that what this was about? Milo was struggling to figure out the way he felt about Julian, or maybe he had just been trying to hold it back. Well, now it was pretty damn clear. And Julian honestly didn't mind it. At least he didn't mind it until Milo pressed his bloodied tongue into his mouth. The full moon honestly wasn't that far away, Milo shouldn't be touting around blood like that. It made something click in him. A few seconds before he was about to protest, but now... Now he wanted this more than ever before. His arms moved up to press against Milo's chest, not to push him away, but pull him closer. He pulled away from the kiss slowly, his eyes half lidded. Would there be any backlash against him for drinking Milo's blood? He only knew vague lore...

"I don't understand..." Not that there was much to understand.

Milo was completely lost in his thoughts, not caring about anything else than the boy he was holding into his arms, nothing was more important than Julian at that moment and that was, of course, a very bad thing. Milo had always closed his mind to others of his kin while his moments of loneliness, only revealing to them what he wanted to, but during their kiss, Milo let his thoughts fly, or more like, he wasn't thinking at all and stopped concealing his being from the others. This was trouble for both of them, yet he didn't say anything to Julian, they had time.

"Understand that I crave you Julian" He spoke seriously, eyes toward the boy but he wasn't staring at him, he was focused, scanning the others, trying to find out where they were and what were they doing. Where was Luca? Milo couldn't find a glimpse of him and that frightened him. The other vampire was as powerful as he was, if not more, and the pact they did... Milo couldn't do anything about it. If Luca decided to attack in that right moment, both him and Julian were dead. "But you must understand too..." He finally continued talking, now really looking into Julian's eyes. "That creature that hides behind the full moon, I will never like it, or care about it... I will hate it to the core, and if I have to I'll kill it" Milo's voice came out empty, not a single hint of feeling and he hated himself because of that, he hated being so cold toward Julian, but he needed to know the truth. That creature, he would never love it, Julian on the other side, was already his lover.

Now he was the one wondering why. Why there was this senseless hate between their races? Milo never knew it, he was taught to hate them, to destroy them if he could and if he couldn't, just stay away from them. His creator would be so disappointed. But why couldn't Milo be with Julian and leave the beast alone when it was its time to appear? He knew why, not very deep inside him. It would be a torture, having your lover wandering, mindless, not responding at you, not loving you back. That couldn't be the reason of their hate of course, it couldn't be such a romantic foolish reason.

"Julian..." The vampire's cold hands trapped the boy's face softly, his fingertips tangling with the black silk that was his hair. Milo stared at Julian for a moment, the excitement had gone, now there was only worry and the searing pain of a forbidden love. He closed his eyes for a moment and sighed. "Find me when the full moon had passed" The words let his mouth full of sorrow and guilt for leaving Julian alone. Milo grabbed the boy by his waist and before he could realize, Julian was back at his room, and Milo was gone.

But he wasn't far, though, he could see the light of his room, and stared at it for a brief moment, at least it felt like that for him. It was the early sing of birds that made him realize he stood there, in that roof for hours. Milo needed to go back to his den and sleep, he could hunt the next night.

Julian had no idea of Milo's vampire 'friends'. He didn't know how any of this worked really. But he could tell that he probably cared a little too much. He don't know why it happened, or how, but he felt that same craving. There was this irresistible pull to Milo. Perhaps that was why he had even come here with the vampire. Normally he was not willing to surrender such blind trust, especially with a stranger. Perhaps it was his childhood, how sheltered he'd been. Now he was just willing to toss himself at someone he knew nothing about...

Milo's words made him shudder a little. It was something different hearing it out loud. They were words he thought he'd never hear, particularly from a stranger. But they weren't such complete strangers now, were they? With their bodies pressed so close together and their lips just a short space away. "I...." It was not something he was expecting to hear so soon after the passionate admission. His bright green eyes moved up to look at Milo, only to look away at the statement about the moon. It loomed over them like some horrible foreboding event. It was close. Two, maybe three days now. He'd only lived through two of them now, barely a child at controlling himself. And he would probably never be able to control himself much more than that.

Before Julian could even have two thoughts about this situation Milo was pressing those cold fingertips to his face and saying a 'goodbye' of sorts. There was no time to respond before he was in his bedroom. He stood there in an empty manner. What was he supposed to do now? Find Milo? Well, that was actually a practical request now. Now that he knew the vampire was probably watching him. The thought made him quiver a little. How far and how long had this craving been? The boy didn't know whether to be frightened or endeared. Until he thought of the way his body had responded on the tower. There was something oddly predatory about all of this, but it gave him a rush.

He let out a sigh and began to untie his shirt, eyes focused out the open window for a while before he settled down into bed. It had been a long day...

Milo woke up from a bad dream, his hands pushed the top of his coffin and made it fly across the room as he sat up. It wasn't uncommon for him, those nightmares, and they weren't related to any recent event. Memories from his human life were still clinging to his mind, gaining strength while the vampire was asleep and coming back to torment him. He knew his life hadn't been that bad, but apparently only remained in him the worst fragments of his youth. Milo sighed heavily, hands covering his face and rubbing his eyes, he'd barely slept, most of the time he spent it glaring at the top of the coffin and drawing waves of boredom with his nails on the wood. He shook slightly, getting rid of the last images of his dream and stepped out of his coffin. Milo needed to go see Luca and try to find out what did he know about Julian... and him.

The vampire went immediately to the tavern, ignoring every tempting scent he could get as he flew his way. As soon as he stepped into the place, Milo was recieved by Luca.

-

"You came early tonight" Luca smiled at Milo as he wrapped an arm around his shoulders, his eyes flashed for an instant and pulled Milo with him to his normal spot. The place was empty, none of his acquaintances were there, but of course, it was still early. The vampire sat and pulled Milo down with him. "The others told me there's a disgusting creature lurking around our city" He grinned at Milo as he looked at him in the eye. How he loved those eyes, same as his in color, yet so different in their way to see things. Milo had that curious, sometimes childish, shine on his eyes most of the time, how, after so long could he still feel curiosity about anything? Luca had forgotten any kind of reaction toward things, people or events, nothing was amusing or entertaining for him anymore, except for Milo. But tonight there wasn't time to get lost on the other's eyes, yet it was going to be quite hard.

"Romina smelled it near the old warehouses, but she was too busy feeding to care" Luca chuckled as he made a vague gesture, Romina never cared about anything, only passing her nights hunting, to come to the tavern at dawn, as Luca, Romina had lost part of herself, there was no sign of humanity in her anymore. "You go around those places sometimes..." He moved closer to Milo, bringing up a hand to cup his face. "I worry about you Milo" Luca stared at him with almost pleading eyes. He knew how much he affected Milo and he always had used it to manipulate him, it was so fun. He would try to take the words about that repugnant werewolf from Milo with a light persuasion this time, but he wasn't very patient and hated lies, even when he was the best at it.

-

It was a torture, having Luca staring at him in that way, he seemed so weak, so worried about him. Milo had to hid his disbelief, this time he wasn't going to yield and fall into Luca's charm, and let him do as he pleased with him. He liked that from the other, and always let him win, Luca was irresistible for him and even when he hated the feeling after being toyed, he didn't care. But now, he shot his mind to him completely. Why was he doing this? Protecting Julian was one of the most dangerous things he'd done in his life, it was stupid, against every rule and yet, Milo spoke nothing about him. He shrugged, looking away just for a moment. "Haven't noticed... I've been hunting around the suburbs lately or coming here, with you" He smiled. It was hard, resisting him, really, when he said with you, Milo meant it with all his soul. He only liked that place because Luca was there, he didn't like the others much.

But it was useless to try and move away from Luca, not thinking about it, Milo just went to his his arms, he'd won and would be good to take the were out of Luca's mind. Maybe those two nights until the full moon weren't going to be that bad.

Julian mostly spent his days indoors. It was a normal thing for him to do anyway. Life continued on as normal, even after he'd been bitten. Or, rather turned. He tried avoiding his mother and father as much as possible, only interacting with them in the smallest of ways. The boy spent a lot of his time reading, just passing the time. Until night when he could run around. Then he could be free. For the most part, unless his parents had some kind of plan for him. In that case his mother would always make him aware of the event at least five times the day or two before. "Don't forget about assisting your father in two days." His mother slid by and spoke the soft affirmative words. She was so much like a snake. With her thin figure and dark hair. The way she moved... Julian just wanted to wring her beautiful neck.

"I /wouldn't/ forget." The boy replied with a bit of pent up anger. She didn't have to be so incredibly smug about everything. That was the main thing that bothered Julian, and yet she continued to do it. The only really redeeming person in the entire house was one of the maids. He'd completely forgotten her name. She was new, but a bright eyed and beautiful girl. She had long blonde hair and wide blue eyes. There was much wonder and curiosity in her soul. Julian was glad for that. He still had a lot of that too, especially when he could leave this house. He was like a chained up dog, free only when released from his confines. He flirted with this girl on the regular. She was foreign, from some eastern European nation. She took kindly to it and was clearly impressed by him as well.

For the next two nights he paced. The boy could sense it , the moon changing. He grew more antsy. He was more irritable. And he was quick to anger. That poor girl had to be witness to it, him tossing down a hot plate she'd handed him. Her fucking commoner hands were so burnt and torn up she couldn't feel how hot things were anymore! How inconsiderate of her! Afterwards he felt terrible, and he'd found her crying in the pantry. The boy apologized profusely.

But when the night of the full moon came, Julian vanished. There was no beast wandering the city. There was not even a single howl among the streets. Complete silence the entire night. Nobody was murdered, not viciously by a wolf anyway.

And then the next night he was back on the street. Though his gait was much slower and more focused. It clearly took a lot more energy out of him to accomplish the simple task of walking. He was much like the dog that Milo had found not long before, wounded and slow. Though he was a human this time.

Milo spent the nights until the full moon with Luca and the rest of his entourage. Fun nights as always, young and fresh blood ran from the most delicate arms and necks to his thirsty mouth, and there was no thought that could distract Milo from their little party. Only spending time with the other vampires made him more careless about anything else, he let himself go with the flow and followed them to nice and long hunting nights, it was fun and somehow so refreshing, like being young again.

Everyone seemed to forget about the werewolf and for moments even Milo did, but when the full moon came, he didn't leave his place. He enclosed himself at the theatre basement. Milo didn't want the smallest chance of meeting with that wolf, a little bit of respect had appeared toward the were, that was never good. He wouldn't risk crossing their paths again and feel the urge to kill it, he was almost sure he was capable of doing so. Another thing he wanted to avoid was the idea of the others finding it, they would tear apart its body, and Milo didn't want to be there if it happened. He spent all the night inside his coffin, yet he couldn't stop himself from trying to find where the others were, and he found them, at least a few of them. Romina, in her common killing sprees, Christoff harassing some whore, Luca... no place where to find him, yet everything seemed quiet.

The next night Milo rushed out of his den and once he was on top of the building as he used to do, he waited, his senses focused on finding Julian, but he told the boy to find him and he wouldn't go after him, it could be dangerous. Milo touched the street without a sound and mixed his figure with the people, he would find some food as he waited.
