There is a place where you can go for the finest fights. Women are forced to fight for their lives, and their bodies. The Arena. The Arena is run by a powerful ruler and was designed by mystics. The Arena has the power to change to suit the fight, and has a shroud of magic over it, preventing anyone from getting in or out without permission. Though this place is used for evil, there is a hint of good inside it. The magic keeps the fighters alive, and there is even a healing spring that flows that can heal any aliment.

Today, a new fighter was brought in. she was placed in a holding cell with nothing more than a bed. She would be used to fight, but a test would come first. A guard stood outside the door to the cell. The door blocked view of his body, but it was clear by his reptilian face that he wasn't human. "Hey you! Girl! Wake up and stand against the wall." He knocked his unseen weapon against the door.

Delia woke with a start and a cut-off yelp, sitting up immediately from where she had been sleeping on the hard bed. She groaned and scowled, taking a moment to loosen her limbs from their previously prone state, then reluctantly and slowly did as she was ordered.

The guard opened the door to the cell and stepped in. His body was covered in thick scales and he carried a spear in his right hand. He moved closer to her and used his tail to pull her arms behind her back. He clasped a pair of cuffs around her wrists and then stepped aside, "Walk. You are wanted for testing by the master."

She bared her teeth at him as he cuffed her, but did as ordered - slowly, and deliberately difficultly. "What," she bit, frowning," the master didn't test me before kidnapping me? Gee, I'm honored."

"The test is not to see if you can fight, but to see how the people react to you." The guard shoved her through the door that would lead to the prep room. However, nothing was laid out for her. "This is a test, so nothing will be used. You will fight with only the skills you have."

She couldn't help but feel a little miffed. What skills? She had watched plenty of action movies but it wasn't as if she really trained. She was a track runner but that was about it. She frowned. This was going to be horrible, and she didn't even really know what was going on. Okay, she told herself. Hands up like they do in the Olympics.

The guard undone the cuffs and the door to the arena floor was opened. It was dirt and the sun shown through the open top. Once she had passed through, the guard shut the door behind her. On the other side, another door opened and a small pack of hounds was released. There was only three of them, and they seemed to be the size of wolves.

She lifted her head as she saw her enemy, and frowned. What did this 'master' want her to do? Train them? Beat them up? From the look of their fangs she'd have trouble doing that but... She had to give it a try. How was she going to escape? Shaking her head, Delia steeled herself and nodded. She wouldn't wait for things to come to her. She'd have to be on the offense, start the fights. It was like sports, but more... chance of death, really. Setting her shoulders she charged towards the hounds, yelling a battle cry.

The three hounds moved out away from each other. They moved in a way that made it seemed like they had done this before. They middle one looked slightly large than the others, and had a that cross is left eye. They moved close to her and once they were ten feet or so away, the middle one howled. The one of the right jolts off and dashes around her. It was a darker color than the others, which only made its fangs stand out more. The one on the left also dashes around. It was the smallest, but only by a little. The three hounds now stood around her, waiting for her to move.
