Black Market Death (xMILENKOx & Sinfulwolf)

Lynn smiled as Blake's lips hovered so very close to her own. Regardless she helped him dress in the uniforms of the enemy, and handed him a Druganov she'd found on a dead corpse.
"I believe its time to get out of here love... right boss?" Lynn said, turning her head to face Nigel.

Meanwhile, Dan spotted a strange truck parked it the outpost.
"Hey boss... there's something weird over by the storage area,"

"What is it Dan?... more hostiles?.." Nigel questioned as he looked over to Lynn who was the only other person capable of fighting. He signalled her to cover him as he walked towards the door leading out to the courtyard cautiously. Ratko sat beside Blake before reaching into his jacket and pulling out his flask. He took a long hard drink to try and numb the pain of his gunshot wound before offering the flask to Blake. "This will warm you up.." Ratko said with a grin as Blake took the flash and took a hard stiff drink from it. "Thanks.." Replied Blake. Nigel now looked back to Lynn. "You take point I will cover you!.." He ordered as he slowly opened the door for her. "Gimme some intel Dan!.." Nigel added.

By know Demetri had send Tyler along with a group of rebels to help secure the outpost. The group of men trampled their way through the woods. "Hey boss, me and a few of the rebels are on our way to your posistion!.." Tyler then announced.

Lynn nodded at her orders, and stepped out of the door with the rifle in her shoulder, eyes looking down the sights. There was no one in sight, save the dead men.

"Lynn, its a truck parked by that storage building. It looks different somehow," Dan reported.

"I see it," Lynn said. The truck was black, rather than the usual dull army green, or even white. It was quite out of place. Keeping her attention focused on it, she moved her way towards the truck when Tyler gave his report that he was on his way.
The cover on the back of the truck was covered in bullet holes from the fire fight. Lynn took a breath and flipped it open, and looked inside, flipping on her flashlight.

Inside were three canisters, some with bullet holes through them. A strange liquid was seeping from the holes. Lynn took a few steps back.

"What the hell is that shit?" she asked.

It may only have been leaking for a short time but it wasnt long until the strange liquid found a dead soldier. Nigel followed Lynn keeping a short distance between them as she uncovered the trucks contents. "What the fuck?... that shit looks dangerous.. Lynn get away from the truck.." As Nigel ordered Lynn to move there was movement from the other side od the truck. Nigel heard a shuffleing sound and was quick to take aim. "WHOS THERE?!.." He yelled before a low pained groan came from the other side of the truck. Thinking it was simply a wounded enemy Nigel confidently walked around to the other side of the truck. Before he could even see what was makeing the noise the dead man leaped into lift and pounced on Nigel. His SA80 getting thrown aside in the collision as the bullet ridden coarpse pinned Nigel to the ground. "LYNN!.." Nigel yelled in terror as he struggled to push the dead man off him. The coarpse's head attempted to lung at Nigel's throat from time to time though luckilly he managed to stop it from getting a bite.

Nigel's yell could be heard all over the teams comms and it echoed through the surrounding area. Tyler and the rebels picked up the pace and began to run to the outpost while Blake and Ratko sat back unable to help. Reluctantly Ratko forced himself to his feet with his one good arm. Flintching in pain from time to time he staggered towards the bunker door to see what was going on.

Lynn slammed the butt of her rifle viciously against the dead man's head. He tumbled off and into the snow. Lynn quickly put two shots into his chest, spraying more blood across the snow, but the corpse instead just started to get up once more.

"What the fuck?" Lynn and Dan yelled at the same time, both their voices clashing over the radios.

Lynn glanced into the truck, where the liquid was still pouring out. She turned back to the dead man, now on his knees. Lowering her carbine she pulled out her pistol and aimed it at the man's forehead, before squeezing the trigger. The man's head jerked back, brains splashing and melting the snow, and he collapsed. Lynn holstered her pistol and turned to Nigel.

"Boss... I think we should get out of here before things get worse," Lynn said, holding out her hand.

Nigel was quick to get up and step away from the dead man as Lynn dispatched him. Nigel looked back to the cannisters, in his career he had experianced chemical and biological warfare. in his experiance fire was the best counter measure. "Ratko, incendiarys now!" Nigel ordered. Ratko whom was standing at the door to the bunker walked out to Nigel. Nigel approached Ratko and was quick to reach into his back pack. "Tyler, you and those rebels might wanna hold back we gotta blow up some dangerous shit!.." Nigel ordered. "Roger boss..." Tyler added before signalling the rebels to stop. "Lynn get Blake out of here Ratko you go with them I will set the incendiary!.." Nigel ordered as he lifted out four incendiary granades and a C4 charge. Ratko nodded and turned away heading south back to Novaska. Nigel was quick to place the incendiary granades next to the leaking canisters before setting the C4 charge which luckilly was all ready rigged up to a remote detonator which was strapped to the charge with tape. Blake then got up to his feet and staggered out of the bunker and towards Lynn.

Lynn was running to the bunker, C8 held firmly in one hand as her foots carried across the snowy ground.
"We have to go," she said to her lover, not stopping to explain much.
Once she was next to him she bent down, reaching under his thigh and lifting. Blake fell over her shoulders as she lifted his leg in front of her chest, and grasped his arm.
She turned and started moving towards the break in the fence, carrying Blake across her shoulders in the classic fireman's carry, his weight not a huge issue. Lynn had made sure that she was able to carry people much larger than herself. In her career, especially her position, she needed to ensure that she could carry men out of danger. Today, said victim being her lover, adrenaline and emotions pushed her further than usual.
It wasn't long before she had made her way through the break in the fence. Looking ahead she could see Tyler and the other rebels, holding their position.

With his team safely out of the way Nigel fished of setting the charge. Though while he was busy the chemicals had found there way to other dead soldiers. One of which crawled beneath the truck and grabbed hold of Nigel's left leg and bit into it vicously. "ARGHHH!!.. FUCK!.." Nigel yelled, his cry echoing around the outpost and through the teams communications. It wasnt long till another zombie came from the left of him and forced him to the ground. With a thud Nigel hit the floor and with one zombie ontop of him whilst the other zombie nawed at his leg. With the detonator clutched in his left hand Nigel knew he was done for. Shock and adrenaline made his leg go numb with his right forearm busy trying to keep the second zombie from biteing at his neck. "Fuck it..." Were Nigel's final words as he pushed the button on the detonator. Within seconds the C4 charge exploded and in turn detonated the incendiary granades which caused the truck to go up like a fire ball that incinerated everything in the vacinity. Ratko remained silent as he watched the explosion. Tyler too was equally unsure what to do while Blake was still semi concous.

"Oh Jesus," Dan's voice said quietly over the comms.

"Boss!" Lynn yelled, carefully setting Blake down by his brother, and starting to run back to the site of the explosion. The heat of the fire consuming the base however, was proving to be to much. She felt it across her face, almost searing her skin. She stood by the fence, turning in a circle, swearing. She didn't know what to do, didn't know how to proceed.

"What just happened?..." Demetri asked while he stood behind Dan. He had discreetly walked in whilst Dan was busy and had watched as Nigel blew himself up. As the smoke settled Demetri noticed that most of the Outpost was burning. "There best be some weapons left to salvage!.." Demetri added before he turned away and left the house.

Ratko followed Lynn and with his good arm he grabbed hold of her arm. "LYNN!... Get back!..." Ratko shouted as he forcebly pulled her back. The intense heat and fire was to dangerous to approach. "We will come back in the morning..." Ratko added before letting go of her and turning back. Tyler lifted his brother up over his shoulder and headed back to the village. The rebels had allready left and now only Lynn and Ratko remained. "Come on Lynn.." Ratko said, he showd no emotion only common sense.

Lynn took a look back at the base, then let her soldier's sense come back.
"Fuck," she yelled crisply, before turning and running back towards Tyler and Blake, knowing that Ratko wouldn't be far behind. He was a soldier's soldier, and she sometimes let her emotions guide her. It was part of the reason that Brian had died. In the morning she'd be back with the others to look for a body. And some answers.

"Hey!" Dan said turning in his chair. He looked at the screen, saw the rest of the team heading home, then stood and ran after Demetri.
"Hey. That entire base is burning. You won't get anything until the morning," Dan yelled at his client.
He didn't give a shit that he wasn't showing any respect. Way he saw it, the man hadn't showed any respect for Nigel's death.

Tyler carried blake back to the village with Ratko walking on far behind. As they came to the village they could see Dan chase Demetri. Though Dan was greeted buy three Rebels who all pointed AK-47s at him. The couldsnt understand what he said but they knew by his facial expression and body movements he wasnt happy with Demetri. Demetri turned back to face Dan now with the three rebels infront of him. "Get back to work mercenary... Iam not paying you to hang around! this isnt a vacation!.." Demetri replied before turning back to the barn as he entered the barn the three rebels were quick to follow him as were the ones who came with Tyler. Once they were all in the barn the doors closed. Tyler took no notice of Dan and Demetri's little exchange of words and casually carried his brother into the house and laid him down in the first available bed which happened to be Ratko's. Ratko followed closely behind and wasnt bothered about his bed being taken. "Iam going to bed.." Ratko said as he slowly made his way up the stairs and into Blake and Tylers room where two beds had allready been prepared. Tyler sat beside Blake as he lay there sleeping.

"Vaca- oh that miserable bastard," Dan muttered once Demetri was out of ear shot. He stood before the house as Tyler carried Blake inside, and Lynn walked into the room alongside the brothers. She knelt beside Blake's bed, running a gentle hand over her forehead.
"He'll recover easily. It wasn't too bad," Lynn told Tyler, though her eyes never left Blake. She placed a small kiss on her lover's forehead and stood to leave.

Meanwhile Dan sat down behind his computer again, sending off an e-mail to the agency to inform them on everything that had happened since the job had started. What a fucking mess. He started to wonder if this Demetri bloke was worth any of it.

As Lynn went to leave Tlyer stood up and grabbed her arm gently. "You stay with him, iam sure he would prefer to wake up to you than my ugly mug..." Tyler joked as he moved past her and stood in the doorway. "Try and get some sleep Lynn.." Tyler added before closeing the door behind him. As the door closed Blake came too. His eyes opened a little and he looked around him until he saw Lynn. "Lynn?.." He said confused still obviously a little dazed. Tyler walked over to the main door and closed it before locking it. tyler then walked over to Dan. "Iam takeing night duty... you best go get some sleep man..." Tyler seemed to take on some sort of commanding role in the absence of Nigel. Tyler then made his way over to the kitchen, on his way he lifted one of his bags. Once inside the kitchen he found a old stove aswell as other basic cooking utensils. He then reached into his bag and pulled out a canteen filled with water and a jar of instant coffee. He reached into his pocket where he pulled out a old zippo lighter with it he lit the stove before pouring the water from the canteen into a old metal pot which he left to boil. "Any chance of a cup in this shit hole?..." He muttered to himself as he began searching the kitchen for a suitble drinking vessal.

Lynn almost argued with Tyler, but she felt so damn tired. Until she heard Blake's voice. She turned her head and felt her eyes go wide.
"I'm here," she said, kneeling beside the bed, and gently stroking her lovers face, fingertips running down his cheeks.

"Yeah... yeah I'll wait till ye finish making yer coffee. Ye know how te use this thing?" he said, indicating his computer, not entirely aware that Tyler had already moved into the next room.

Finding a old tin cup Tyler began to make himself a cup of coffee to help him through what remained of the night while he kept his comrades safe. Blake slowly came too and smiled up at Lynn. "That rat bastard Chris screwed me over!.. so much for never leaveing a man behind..." Blake let out a angry outburst after all Blake too was a ex US marine and for a fellow marine to screw him over hurt him deeply.

"Not all can be as honorable as us," Lynn said. She couldn't quite understand his pain, for while she'd been betrayed enough before, it had never been by a fellow Canadian soldier. She did know it hurt him though, and that all she could really do was be there for him.

Dan looked behind him, and shrugged when he saw Tyler wasn't there, before turning back to his screen. He was keeping an eye on the military outpost to the north. He'd seen things that shouldn't have been real, and Lynn was the only other one who had seen the dead man up close.

"O well least I still got you..." Blake said with a smile still unaware of Nigel's demise. Tyler returned to Dans side coffee in hand. "You still looking at that screen?.. hell if your not gonna sleep you might aswell get some coffee and keep me company... can you get a internet connection on that thing?... I want to email my wife make sure alls ok.." Tyler said as he stood beside Dan. With Nigel's death Tyler had began to worry about his own life and what his wife and kids would do without him.

Meanwhile in the Solkovian capital city Dercheno Chris has arrived at the Solkovian goverment building. Escorted by the mysterios Solkovian whom had taken him from the outpost. The building was heavilly guarded and very extragantly decorated. This was the home and office of General Sergei Gurlukavich, Solkovia's self apointed president. The mysterious Solkovian led Chris personally to Sergei's office which its self was heavilly guarded by members of the The Sons of Solkovia whom aswell as being a powerfull criminal orginisation had become Sergei's own gestapo. Well dressed heavilly armed gangster types filled the corridoors and rooms in this part of the building each of them acknowledging the mysterious Solkovian as a superior. Eventually they enetered Sergei's office. Sergei was sat behind a fine oak desk dressed in a generals uniformwhich was heavilly decorated with medals. Sergei was a large man whose greed was obvious since he gained weight after his rise to power. The smell of cuban cigars filled the smokey room. "Ah Vladimir, is this the American I have heard so much about?.." Sergei asked to the mysterious man whom had now been identified as Vladimir Randnovich a Sons of Solkovia general. "Yes sir, he has infomation on Demetri Romanov" With this Vladimir forced Chris to sit down. Sergei's eyes lit up as a smile slid across his greedy lips. "Well now my yankie freind what is it you know about that Romanov dog?!.." Sergei asked dominantly. A cold sweat covered Chris's body as he began to regret what he had done as he was now sat in the belly of the beast. "Well spit it out american!.." An impatiant Sergei shouted. Vladimir hit Chris across the back of his head as he tried to force Chris to speak. "I... I... I known where he is hideing.." Chris stutted in a paniced reply.

Lynn smiled sweetly, and kissed Blake's lips ever so gently. "Indeed... do you remember anything from the rescue?" Lynn asked, hoping she wasn't pushing his mind too fast. She didn't think so. He was a tough man, a strong mercenary.

"Yeah it does. You think I'd go anywhere without it?" Dan said with a smirk as he connected his laptop to the internet.
He stood up and started to move towards the kitchen.
"You do you e-mails. I'm getting me some coffee, maybe some whiskey. We'll see," Dan said with a shrug. As he walked to the kitchen he passed Blake and Lynn's room. He looked inside and saw they were still clothed. He shrugged and kept moving.

"No the cold and the cuncousion left me in abit of a haze... but iam alive so I can only assume the mission was a success huh?.." Blake replied with a grin still unaware that Nigel had died and that the things that killed him were beyond real. Then slid back a little in his bed makeing room for Lynn. "hey babe, why dont you join me?... you look like you could use the rest!.." Blake added with a careing smile.

With the computer free Tyler sat down and proceeded to check his emails and email his wife. He said for awhile as he typed out a heart felt email detailing how much he missed her and his kids and how everything was fine on the oil rig and that Blake was ok. As he hit the send button he imediatly received a email. Curiously he checked the new email only to find it to be from the Agency. The email was adressed to all the team members on this mission. The email was very formal and showed no humanity or care for Nigel's loss. Nigel was talked about like he was some kind of product, after all he was a mercenary, a soldier of fortune, a disposable hero. The email then went to say how Nigel's pay would be devided up between those who were still alive. The last issue adressed in the email was the Chris situation. The agency wanted to know where he was and what he was doing and if so is he still alive. Once Tyler had read the email he was quick to close it not really happy with it. He was quick to finish his coffee before logging out of his email account and stepping away from the computer before sitting down on the couch.

Lynn glanced at the door and quietly closed it. She remembered Tyler's words even as it shut, but her plans weren't for sex. Just privacy. For the moment. She came back to Blake's bed, taking off her kit, and crawling in beside him, wrapping her arms around him. Callused fingertips ran down his chest.
"In a way... Nigel's dead love," Lynn said.

Dan was passing by when he saw the door shut. He stood with cup of coffee in hand and frowned, before deciding that after today, getting laid could only be a good thing. He moved into the room and sat by the computer and looked at Tyler.
"Lynn and Blake might be going at it again... I say we let them, after today," Dan said as he went into his e-mails. His eyes widened as he saw the response from the Agency already in his mailbox.

Blake smiled as Lynn joined him in his bed but her announcement was a grave suprise. "Nigel's dead?!..." He responded in shock very loudly. He looked so confused as to what had happened after all he wasnt all there at the time of Nigel's death. "What happened?.. was he shot?!" A frantic Blake asked desperatly trying to figure out what had happened. Guilt soon set in, after all they had come to save him but then he knew Chris was truely to blame. Tyler over heard his brother's outburst and looked back to Dan. "Well I hope they will atleast have the respect to keep it queit this time.." An emotional Tyler responded in both out of respect for Nigel and jealousy, after all his women was back home far away from him and so far out of reach.

"Really?... well do tell my little Yankie freind!.." An excited Sergei replied. Vladimir stepping back from from Dan with his arms folded. Dan looked to Sergei and then to Vladimir before plucking up the courage to speak. "Whats in it for me?.." He aske feeling a little confident he was of value to Sergei. With this Vladimir was quick to pull a ballistic knife from a sheath inside his jacket and press the tip of the blade against the left side of Chris's neck. "Well if you dont speak, I shoot a serated blade through your neck!..." Vladimir warned Chris, the ballistic knife was capable of dischargeing its blade by the push of a button thanks to a spring-operated or gas-driven mechanism. Vladimir carried around ten of these knifes on his person all the time. He prefered them to carrying a gun, as he was more of the up close and personal kind of killer. Vladimir's finger was ready on the button to release the blade. "Novaska!... Hes in a old barn in some shit hole village called Novaska!... now can you ease up on that blade!.." Chris announced in fear. "What about the rest of your team?.." Vladimir was quick to ask, after all he knew Chris and Blake wouldnt be alone. "There hold up in some farm house across the road from the barn... theres five of them, another american, a russian, a canadian a, irishmen and a english guy who's the boss!.." Chris continued to explain as he felt the cold steel against his jugular. "Well then, maybe its time some of my men paid a little visit to Novaska!..." Surgei announced with a victorious smile. Then suddenly Sergei's intocom buzzed. "Mr President Sir!... We have lost communications with our Novaska outpost!.." Vladimir looked confused after all he was only there a few hours ago. "The rest of your team must have gone to rescue your freind!.." Vladimir said with a sinister tone, his eyes looked up to Sergei who was quick to give a simply nod and with that Vladimir pushed the button thus ejecting the balistic knife's blade through Chris's neck severing every major artory in seconds as Chris simply fell on his chair and onto his side dead.

Lynn looked away for a moment and bit her lip, trying to find the words to describe what she saw earlier that day. When she looked back she let out a breath. "This is going to sound weird... but you have to believe me. Me and Nigel found something in that outpost. Some kind of canister, filled with a biological weapon or something. It had gotten shot in the firefight and started leaking..." Lynn trailed off not sure how to continue, she pressed a finger to Blake's lips so she'd be able to find the words herself.

"The stuff leaking out made the soldiers we killed get back up. They surrounded Nigel, and were tearing him to pieces when he set off a bomb to destroy the canisters," Lynn finally said, almost coldly. It was the only way she could deal with it; to shut her emotions off in a closet in her mind.

Dan glanced at the closed door, then Tyler.
"Yeah," Dan said quietly as he read over the e-mail from the agency.
"Hey... what about Chris's money?" Dan demanded as he finished reading. As far as he was concerned Nigel's money should be going to whatever next of kin he had. But Chris's... fuck that guy. Fuck him in every way possible.

"Shit..." Was all Blake could say. He lay back and stared up at the ceiling. "Did the bomb go off?..." Blake then asked curiously as his head tilted to face Lynn. Tyler finished his coffee and set the tin cup down on the floor beside his feet. He leaned bak and relaxed on the couch almost ignoreing Dan for a moment. "They most likely cancelled his pay when they found out he went rogue.... I wouldnt be suprised if they removed his records so they could deny ever hireing him.." Tyler then went on to explain after all he had experianced greedy mercenarys who had gone rogue in the past, the Agency tended to sevor all ties to any rogue agents.

As the fire began to die down smoke continued rise into the dark early morning sky. In the distance the sound of armoured vehicles echoed. Vladimir had orginised an attack force under Sergei's instruction. Two T-90 tanks were at the front and rear of a convoy which between the tanks were two BMP-1 armoured personel carriers loaded with soldiers. The convoys first port of call was the outpost. As they arrived they were greeted only by the sight of burning coarpse and damaged buildings. The convoy then was quick to split into two, with a tank and APC moveing in opposite directions intent on attacking Novaska from both sides. The tanks took their posistions as did the APCs which wer quick to unload their troops. The soldiers then began to take posistions in the surrounding woodland so to cover the village from all sides while the tanks and APCs blocked the roads. The ambush was set.

"Yes," Lynn said simply, gently pressing her lips against Blake's. She was so relieved to have him back in her arms.

Dan shrugged in response, slightly disappointed that he wouldn't be getting Chris's share. He opened up the satellite program again, and felt his heart nearly stop.
"Uh Tyler... we got issues," he said.
