Not Used to This...

It's been a long time since I've seen an RP like this so, I decided to bring one back to life.

There's a group of friends, it always starts like that. One mentions that they kind of, not really, totally wants to be in the band. The others, of course, consider the idea... and why not? All they have to do is buy the instruments, and set it all up. But there's not enough room for everyone, though there are the important people, such as the managers, and the 'start-up fans' that will be there along with them, even if their music isn't the greatest, or they aren't that successful.

Name: Leisha Forsyth

Appearance: Leisha is, to be put quite simply, the very image of a successful, professional young person. While she doesn’t wear crisp suits and keeps her hair back in a neat bun, she is just as efficient. Her eyes are a lovely shade of blue, with flecks of green hiding within the depths. The best word to describe the color is not an icy blue, or even an electric blue...but rather, more along the lines of indigo. It is a rare and exotic color that absorb light, due to its dark hue. Her hair is a nice obsidian black, cascading down to her hips, and is very fine...not to mention soft to the touch. Every once in a while, she puts on a pair of silver glasses in order to read anything.

At 4’11”, Leisha doesn’t look much like a threat...and most people don’t take her seriously because of it. Her jeans fit her curves nicely...and are usually dark blue, or black. The shirts are modest, not revealing anything they should. Rarely if ever she wears a skirt...and only when the occasion calls for it. Her favorite pair of shoes are a nice pair of black boots, with an 1-inch heel. There is a silver ring on her right hand she keeps on at all times. A notable feature of hers is her accent, which people have described before as beautiful and soothing.

Personality: Intelligent, focused and thorough, Leisha is the perfect person to lead this band. A perfectionist, she keeps everything organized, and works with everyone to make sure things work out. Most of the time she is sweet, caring, and kind, but if she catches wind that you’re slacking off...beware. Laziness is one thing she doesn’t tolerate, and another thing she won’t tolerate is attitude. Her temper is quick and hot, but once she blows off steam she’ll come by and apologize...only to say ‘don’t do it again.’ After all...she always has a reason whenever she gets mad.

Appearance: Karma Leigh is certainly the type of young woman who catches the public eye, and who flourishes under that attention. Her skin is slightly tanned, as though she has been kissed by the sun. At five foot eleven, she does stand a little taller than most girls, and is lithe and slender as well. There is a dimple that reveals itself every once in a while, whenever she smiles. Of course...her smile speaks volumes about her self-confidence, and of her personality. Her hair is a rich, golden blonde, that flows wildly about her features, and about her shoulders.

The most eye-catching trait about Karma is the girl’s heterochromia. Heterochromia means that the eyes are different colors, and this proves to be true for her. While one eye is a bright, cerulean blue...the other is a deep forest green. Both colors are equally lovely, however. Most of her clothes consists of a short skirt, showing off quite a bit of her long legs...and a shirt. Another distinctive characteristic is the tattoos she has...especially under her left eye, and along her left shoulder.

Personality: Basically...Karma is a wild child. We’ll just leave it at that.

Appearance: She is a petite young woman, standing around 5'2", but people tend to forget how short she is due to her brassy personality. Her facial features, while soft and feminine, typically take on neutral expressions, which teeter toward seeming harsh at times (not intentionally). Light pink hair frames her face, with the longest point reaching her collarbone. It used to be dirty blonde, but she died it after graduating high school to rebel against her parents. She has round, almond shaped eyes that are usually bordered with dark eyeliner, bringing out their olive tones.

Personality: From a young age, Ash was very vocal. Her parents and nanny would get after her for speaking out of turn. She’s a decisive individual, and will stick with anything she chooses to do. This can be bad at times because she’s stubborn and only puts effort into things that interest her, such as music and composition. She also has a tendency to state the obvious, to the point of narrating situations at times.

History: She was born into a wealthy family that lives uptown. When she was seven years old, they hired a tutor for her to learn piano. The lessons were the highlight of her day for years. She stopped taking private lessons after graduating from high school, but still visits her teacher on a regular basis. Ash no longer lives at home. Instead, she’s renting out a cheap apartment far away from her parents. She’s not going to college, but works full time at a music store.

Age: 21

Appearance: Medium length brown hair, and matching eyes. Thin, not too muscular, but not scrawny, pretty average. He's about six feet, weighs about 165. You'll usually find him in a hoodie, jeans, and canvas sneakers, wearing some band's t-shirt. He's got some ink, notably the X-Men symbol on his right shoulder, and dragons going along his forearms, a red one on his left, blue on his right. If he's not carrying drum sticks, he's got pencils, pens, something stick-shaped to hit things with. Personality: Passionate about anything he sets his mind to, whether that's a project, a friendship, or a dream to start a band and make it big. Big sense of humor, it's hard to see if he could take things seriously, but if he absolutely has to, he can dial it back. Don't count on it unless someone dies or something really bad, though. He's smart in his own way, let's just say he's glad someone else is managing and is taking care of the logistics, the finances, and technical stuff. He just wants to hit things and make music.
