a big, big city.
      • The streets were busy, the cafe was busy, everyone was just plain busy. Busy enough to forget their wallet over there and busy enough to momentarily let their child's hand go while on the sidewalk; Busy enough to leave their morning paper on the bus bench, and busy enough to completely forget all they had to do today. However, she had made sure that who she was meeting today wasn't particularly busy; Well sure, he was busy, but she made sure that he wasn't busy enough to stand her up because of some 'important' case he had to take over. No, she had instead taken the time to call him with the proper pout in her lips and announce that she missed him, and evidently from the response she had gotten the feeling was mutual. It wasn't hard at all to miss this woman though, whether it be because you hated to not see her face come around every once and a while or you hated to not hear her voice, more often than not it was a mixture of the two that people missed when it came to her.

Sliding her figure into the booth and letting one of her fingers slide over the packets of sugar, her naturally tanned legs crossed as the native New Yorker, family actually hailing from Italy and herself being a part of their generation born in the United States, her hazel colored eyes ventured around the busy cafe. Just busy enough for people to get lost in their own business incase she decided to tease at her friend today, giggling softly to herself, her lush red lips parted to let out a soft breath of air when a man holding a small book approached her, asking if she would like anything. Ordering a coffee and a water, the woman's thick, though soft tresses of black hair fell over her shoulder as she leaned forward, the rest held back by the faithfulness of a white flower clipped into her hair. Black dress holding onto her curves and giving her body enough justice to show it off, her full chest moved when she let out a soft breath of air and found herself picking up a newspaper and scanning over the headlines.

'Another Heist!' Read the large, bold print, Bambi's lips curling into a smile because in all actuality, it made her smile all the more when she read the word 'Thieving masterminds' beneath those bold printed words, getting some silent rush out of such a thing.[/list:u][/list:u][/list:u]

At the other side of town John was investigatin the latest bank that was robbed by the gang of women. It was new for John to investigate a gang that seemed more like ghosts instead of following a trail of bullets leading to the new gang of no-brainers. He sighed softly as his hand brushed over his mouth, walking around in circles. He would tap his finger once a while against his lip before he would turn and continue the circle. This case was getting to him more and more. ''How...how....how'' he mumbled against himself as he tried to puzzle all the little things he had on them together. Everytime he thought they had something they would surprise him with something new or he would just have gotten it wrong and it was back at point one.
John had files filled with every little piece of evident and newspaper articles on them. He was determined to get them even, though a few detective before him failed miserably or just gave.

He could spend the whole day in the bank, stamping out ideas and leads as he would walk around, up and down the bank and searching in every corner but time was short for today as he was finally going to meet Bambi again. He smiled for a second thinking about her and the last night they spended together. They weren't together much because of their busy lifes and it was especially hard as he had to keep his job a secret to her. He just didn't like telling anybody he was a detective. It had gotten to romantized by the media.

His mind was brought back on Earth when he saw the time. He had almost forgotten about their meeting at the cafe. John had no choice but to close the scene and wait till the next robbery as people wanted to catch on with their busy lives again. In a matter of minutes the scene was cleaned up and John came sprinting out of the bank as he held a small suitcase in his hand and his car keys in the other. Upon arriving the cafe, he cursed himself for looking a bit like a mess. His brown hair was neatly combed back as he wore his favorite brown fedora over it keeping it in place. A little beard was forming as he hadn't shaved in days because of the case.

When he entered the cafe he made sure she couldn't see him as he walked slowly behind and kissed her on the cheek ''You know you shouldn't hide your beauty behind that newspaper'' he whispered in her ear.

      • Unfortunately, for any grown man with his hopes up, or his eyes opened wide wouldn't initially realize that the robbery heists had been completed by women, not until a deliberately left case of lipstick, unopened and untouched by any hand. And being that it was such a familiar, often used by women lipstick, it couldn't be traced back to any one woman in particular, as it went unused. Upon the newspaper, around two weeks ago, announcing that these thieves were evidently 'Slipping Up', another heist had been gone through to prove them absolutely, completely wrong. Little did anyone know, that these were the simple women you saw walking down the street, with their soft smiles and flashy eyes, with their accents of French and Italian, or perhaps ( and this only went for one of the women ) a Southern bell among the mix.

These were highly intelligent women, each one of them having things calculated and each one of them knowing what they could do with their shares of money as long as they did it in increments. And now one in particular, the 'King Queen Pin' of them all, sat in a diner awaiting her company. When she felt his warm lips press against the soft skin of her cheek, her hazel eyes closed softly while her hands carefully set down the newspaper after reading that once again, the police had been left with little to no clues and not enough information to have suspects. Believe it or not, that was what happened when you worked from the inside out. Her hands raising and sliding back over the skin of his neck, her arms wrapped around them skillfully before tilting her head when he announced that she shouldn't 'hide' her beauty with the newspaper.

"Men like you are the creation of vain women." She murmured in return, her hands moving up and plucking his fedora off his head, the surprise of him arriving pleasant to her as she slid just a bit in her seat to allow him room to sit beside her. Placing his fedora on her index finger, she gave him a soft wink before announcing what she had said before, "I missed you."[/list:u][/list:u][/list:u]

John smiled when he felt her soft hands in his cold neck as his rough cheek brushed against hers ''Women like you should be praised, if the woman in question turns vain then it isn't our faullt'' he said back to her as she took of his fedora, his green eyes stayed focused on her face as he sat down next to her with a broad smile as she teased him with his fedora and a wink.

When she told him she missed him, he replied to her with a kiss on her lips as he took his coat of. John wasn't one of many emotional words as he kept most of his thoughts and emotions at bay because of his line of work. Even though he was a tad more open around her he had to remind himself that they didn't have a relationship. They would meet once a month or everyday of the week, depending on their schedule. It was weird but relaxing at the same time as they didn't have the stress that a relationship would sometimes have.

John picked up the menu and took the newspaper from her. His eyes had already scanned the title when he gave her a kiss. He wasn't in the mood of seeing, hearing or thinking about anything of his work when he was with her. His eyes were supposed to be on the menu but no man could resist what was sitting next to him. John let his eyes feast on her beauty quickly as his eyes trailed over her curves and up to her face before having a stare at her chest. ''Did you already order anything, Bambi?'' he said once he snapped out of his thoughts and looked into the menu

      • Rolling her eyes at him when he tried to dig himself out of the hole in saying that it wasn't his, as the man, fault if 'the woman in question' turned vain. She wasn't the type destined to be vain, although she did know just like everyone else that she was nothing short of attractive. Watching him as he sat down beside her with his broad smile and self containment, it seemed that for a slip of a second that it was taken away when his lips pressed against hers, all the while he skillfully removed his coat. She knew to the average onlooker, because she had caught a few people watching on the occasional times that they were out in public and showing something close to affection; Despite if she were to say that outloud, John would deny it as being open affection.

Pushing said thoughts out of her head as her lips added a gentle amount of pressure back to his, Bambi found her hand carefully setting his fedora down on the table. Pulling her lips away from his gently, her eyes glanced down and noted that the newspaper had been taken away from her, and his, eyesight, not particularly minding because she still knew what the headlines were; What the headlines seemed to always be. And she knew that if anyone, including John, knew what she did for a living that the potential for anyone to not lose their mind was slim to none. . And slim just left town. Her lips curling into a soft smile though and deciding it was best to forget that she robbed banks without so much as having to kill a person when she was near him, knowing that by the expression on his face that he was looking her over.

It was common, but it wasn't so bad when he did it, rather than some random man on the street. It seemed that almost as soon as he had asked his question, the waiter brought over her coffee and water, nodding quaintly when she smiled at him. It took him quite a while to take his eyes away from Bambi and realize that there was a man sitting next to her, unfortunately, "Can I get you something sir?" [/list:u][/list:u][/list:u]

As much as Bambi had to keep her job in the mist, so did John. Leaving his suitcase and gun in the trunk of his car he would glance over once a while to make sure his car was still there. He always did his best to stay shrouded in mystery which maybe made this ''relationship'' the more interesting. Exactly how much did John know about Bambi or how much did she know about him? If anybody asked John who she was then he could describe her looks perfectly but anything deeper then that and he would be lost. He just learned somthing new about her day by day just like now. John would have most likely guessed tea, rather then coffee.

Afther his question about her order his eyes wandered of to his car again, for a split second only to find the waiter gawking at her. John waited for the waiter to notice him only to answer his question with a hateful stare as his eyes narrowed when he answered him angered ''No'' It was as simple and intimidating as a lion standing before a mouse, and even a bit childish and macho to react that way but he simply didn't like it when people stared at her or at them together. Even though he couldn't every person from staring at her, if he got one then he would let them know how he felt about it.

The waiter left immediately, letting the two to be on their.
John huffed softly and looked to his side, expecting a response from Bambi for his behavior. But that wouldn't change the fact that he didn't see her alot so when he got the chance, he wants her for himself without anybody bothering him.

      • There had only once or twice been a point at which Bambi wondered if he was a cop, although with this being said, she had only ever thought that when she began to grow nervous or was having a moment just a day or so before a break in. He, evidently, didn't notice the slight nervousness she'd had and any other time, he wouldn't be around when she got nervous. One of the points of their 'relationship' was not seeing each other as often as a couple would, and considering they weren't a couple, the time spent together wasn't always every day. Adding a bit of sugar and one creamer, her eyes glanced up at the waiter when she noticed that he was still staring at her up until asking John what he wanted, her spoon carefully stirred the warm liquid, not in a teasing manner but a naturally curious one that fell over her eyes.

Tilting her head softly when she turned and looked to John, she noted the angered stare and the narrowed eyes, setting her spoon down on a napkin and knowing how this was going to end if the waiter didn't scamper away as soon as possible. Jealous men like him, truth be told, were sexy to Bambi, specifically in the cases of when they caught someone staring at whatever woman they were with, crossing her legs softly when she heard the waiter do exactly what they were both waiting for him to do. Turning her head again to look at John, her figure moved just slightly as she leaned forward and planted a soft kiss against the rough skin of his cheek, her breasts pressing against his arm subconsciously while she murmured against his skin, "You made the poor boy pee himself." Her accent was soft, eyes half lidded before kissing his cheek again, she mentally decided that it was halfway his fault for not paying attention when the waiter had come to them in the first place. However, her hand reached out and gently brushed over his opposite cheek, smiling gently against his skin. [/list:u][/list:u][/list:u]

John himself had wondered about her profession himself but never guessed as close as she did. At first he thought she was a pin-up model but he had never seen a picture of her nor a fan creeping up to her to ask her for her autograph. It could have been because of his presence but it wouldn't stop most fans. Then he thought she was a singer. Her accent was soft and nice, soothing to the ears but he had never heard her sing when they together nor on the radio. He knew she was doing something that was filling her wallet greatly since she always seemed well dressed and with an expensive taste. A rich father and no job or worry in the world. John thought about looking that up but it the more he would know about her the more she would become a weak spot for him if criminals ever wanted to get their payback. Or what if she was related to a criminal, even worst a criminal herself.

Johns mood was quickly changed though when he felt her soft lips against his cheek and her chest against his arm. As always it made him smile but that smile turned upside down again when she mentioned the waiter ''It is his fault for staring. Like he didn't see me'' Even though John wanted to keep his hard boiled attitude up he couldn't deny her kisses and gentle brushes as she smiled at him. He immedialty cooled down and smirked as he looked aside, a shamed as he admitted his jealousy ''...You know I don't like it when other men look at you'' he softly said and wrapped his arm around her waist to pull her closer to him.

John didn't feel like pushing on the jealousy subject any longer, knowing she could and would use all her charmes to make him talk and quickly changed the subject ''What do you want to do today? I'll take you anywhere your heart desires''

      • Bambi wasn't entirely sure what she would do if she found out he was a detective. She knew for a fact however, that there would have to be an immediate end to whatever it was that they considered themselves at this time. Although, she did silently care about him, and she knew the feeling was mutual. She knew he was the sort of protective that wouldn't announce it outloud, but when the time came to it, he would beat someone into the ground if he saw that she felt threatened; Another something she liked in him. Giggling softly against the skin of his cheek when he stated his claim about the waiter and it being his fault, knowing she could make the grown man melt whatever emotion it was he was feeling toward the waiter; At least until he decided to come back, which as far as she could see, he was nowhere near their table.

Her own lips still in a smile when he so plainly stated that he didn't like other men looking at her, Bambi's hand grazed over the skin of his jawline before moving her lips reluctantly from the skin of his cheek, moving with him when he pulled her closer to him. Taking a soft drink of her coffee that she had evidently gotten perfect, as she didn't reach for anything else to add to it, Bambi looked up at him when he asked her what she wanted to do today. Evidently that meant she had him to herself, didn't she? If only it was for a little while, she would enjoy it while she had it, right? "Considering it's broad daylight and you're not going to get away from other men looking at me and you've scared the waiter," Pausing to look at him with a teasing wink, Bambi picked up his fedora and smiled softly again, "Let's get out of here, hm?" [/list:u][/list:u][/list:u]

Her soft giggle made him smile as he blamed the waiter for getting him jealous. It didn't matter though when he felt her hand brush over his jawline and he responded by letting his fingers trail over her waist. One of the many things John loved about her were her curves, the first thing that got his attention only to be completely blown away by her soft skin and beautiful face. He could stare into her eyes forever and would kiss her full lips with ever chance he got. Every person around him would call it love, some even an obsession, but he didn't care what they thought or would say behind his back. He would deny it anyway.

John watched her enjoy her coffee awaiting her answer. It was harder for them to go out then the average couple, especialy when they met at broad daylight. The whole thing started by night and was supposed to be a one timer but it changed into more and more night and eventually into lunch meetings and breakfasts buttThey couldn't ask eachother how they day was and what they were going to do the next day nor ask about their jobs, friends whatever could give away who they were. They were both a mystery to eachother and wanted to keep it that way. They were doing everything backwards, first the sexual part, then taking eachother out but eventually they had to get to the first point and that is meeting eachother. Their trueselves and God knows how that would end.

"Considering it's broad daylight and you're not going to get away from other men looking at me and you've scared the waiter," John could only sigh as reply and shook his head as he was regretting he ever made that comment ''You'll never make me forget that won't you'' When she stated she wanted to leave all he did was smile back and took his fedora from her hands as he stood up to make room for her and grabbed his wallet to pay for her coffee and water. It was a bit akward when the waiter approached them, afraid of John as he gave him another angered stare when he handed them the bill

''Keep the change'' Something that was supposed to be a nice gesture for good service was suddenly made into a command as he extended his hand to Bambi, keeping his eyes on the waiter until he left ''Lets go, Bambi''

    • The tickle of his fingers going over her waist in the way that they did caused her body to press all the more closer to his, although she could have easily called that a pull, considering the way that when they were anywhere near each other they had a drive to be close to one another. She enjoyed that, considering it made her forget about the things that quite possibly could have been bothering her throughout a day; That made her forget as well as a few things going on under the sheets. A grin falling on her lips at the thought when she pulled her lips away from his cheek, taking a soft sip of her cool water behind her coffee, the beautiful woman turned her head when he sighed outloud for her comment earlier. Of course she was going to pick with him just a little more, although he knew as well as he did that she would let him slide only after picking at him like she had before. Knowing he was going to pay regardless of what she said in protest against it, she let him pay the simple five dollars, of course letting the waiter have whatever change was left; Not because he liked his company or his service, but because he didn't want to catch him looking at Bambi again.

Taking his hand gently as she stood up amongst the tension between the two men, Bambi squeezed his hand gently before pulling him carefully, her eyes never once finding the waiter to offer him an apologetic stare, even though John had been crude about it; It did serve the waiter right to be treated like garbage. Pulling him outside into the warm air, Bambi took a soft inhale of the air before turning to let her lips fall against his, no longer letting them touch his cheek, but his lips. She wanted to taste them again, her sudden kiss pushing him back against the window of the cafe, her curvy body leaning against him.[/list:u][/list:u]

He smiled softly when she squeezed his hand softly, calming him down from his little anger towards the waiter. They got a few stares as they exit the cafe because of Johns behavior and posture. It just didn't match the status and style that most people had, there were from a higher level of society and riches while John came from a simple life with simple income since being a detective wasn't all action and mystery, you just needed the luck that the police department needed your service. The only thing that wasn't simple in his life was Bambi and once again she proofed it by pressing him against the window of the cafe once they were outside and kissed him passionetely on the lips as she pressed her body against his.

John smiled as she kissed him. His arms wrapped around her curves, pressing her closer, pressing his lips against hers, kissing her back with as much love while he felt the stares of the people who were staring from inside the cafe burn in his back but it didn't matter to him. He had to go weeks without the taste of her lips, the feeling of her skin against his everytime they shared the bed. The kiss couldn't last forever even if he wanted but even he had to breathe for a second. He was still smiling like a little child that got a shiny nickle as he looked her into her eyes ''I have missed you. If I don't have to work tomorrow then spend another day with me. Unless you have to work then lets just enjoy the day before I have to wait months before I can see you again''

      • There was one thing about being in an 'unspoken' relationship with this particular man that saddened her. It was the fact that when they woke up in the morning laying next to one another in bed, they rarely stayed where ever it was they were. They woke up and either he or she was gone to do something else, because they were so damned busy. There was an instant determination in Bambi to not let that happen. Sure, they might not wake up and make each other breakfast in the morning, and sure she didn't know how he liked his eggs; She knew how he liked plenty of other things and that was a just enough cause to her. Her soft lips leading the way with their kiss once his arms formed themselves perfectly around her body, Bambi's body seemed to fit perfectly against his, ignoring the feelings she was receiving from those walking down the street.

She was used to being stared at, but it only made her smile all the more that the both of them had been the reason. A soft breath of air released when he pulled his lips back and away from hers, Bambi's eyes found themselves looking up into his, roaming over that adorable smile that she'd evidently caused. Here came the words he had been too masculine to say in the cafe, what she had literally wanted him to say all along, the words that came to follow caused her head to tilt. Spend another day with him? This was something new, although not to say she minded taking that silent step. "I don't have to work tomorrow, and you better not have anything to do tomorrow either." Her hand sliding over his chest and tugging at his tie gently, she would hate for him to offer such a thing then have to take it back due to work.[/list:u][/list:u][/list:u]

John his smile grew wider when she told him she didn't have to work the next day. They had never spent more then twenty hours together but this was something he did spontanious not wanting to wait so long to see her again. ''If they suddenly call and ask me to work then I'll just tell them I am sick'' John leaned forward when she tugged his tie, kissing her once again as his hands went up and down her curves, having missed her so much. Many would ask why they just couldn't go steady and be honest to eachother and date like normal couples do and they would both tell them it was impossible. It was weird to imagine that a man like him would wait for her to call and go out but John tried to be with other women but they just weren't like Bambi. She had something extra that no other women had, it was unexplainable but that didn't matter because he had her for two days now instead of the measly twenty-four hours.

''Let me take you home and treat you like a queen'' John whispered into her ear as he got his car keys out of his pocket and pressed her more against him ''I want to show you how much I really missed you''

      • Her grip tight on his tie when he admitted that if they were to call and ask him to come in for a case, that he would tell them he had gotten sick, she smiled softly because he wouldn't be anything close to sick. Neither one of them would be, and she didn't mind calling in a sick day for work tomorrow morning, judging that he was serious about spending a night and even an entire day with her. Two whole days with this man sounded fabulous, letting her lips move against his again when he leaned into her again, Bambi's hand made itself flat against his chest and slid up gently. How it was possible for them to go such great lengths of time and not see each other? She couldn't understand it either considering the way they were making up for it now, and in the events to come.

Just like he had, she had gone through a few men during their time of being apart just to keep herself somewhere close to being sane, although of course it wasn't what she really wanted, looking up at him again when he whispered to her. Giggling softly once his words were finished, the woman let her lips settle against his cheek as they had before in the cafe, "That sounds like a wonderful idea," Considering she had already had a heist undergone within this week, there was no stress in planning the next one, or anything relatively close to that, taking his free hand and leading him toward the car she had watched him get out of. [/list:u][/list:u][/list:u]

Her soft giggle made him smile, knowing she would agree with him when her soft lips brushed against the rough skin of his cheek as she would sometimes do. He followed her lead without saying a word as she held her hand until they had reached the car. ''Wait a second, okay'' he suddenly told her as he remembered that he had left his suitcase in the car. John was most of the time neat when it cames to hidding his job. The day before they would meet he would clean up his home making sure everything that had to do with his job was hiding in some closet together with his guns. For some kind of reason he just never wanted Bambi to find out who he truly was, he didn't know why maybe it was because with her he could forget about it or just because he didn't want her to worry over him.

John sighed as he looked through the windshield of his car and thought about how he could the suitcase in his trunk without asking her to turn her head away. It would be rude and weird to suddenly ask something like that. If he just got the suitcase out and put it in his trunk then he had a fifty percent of her saying nothing about it or she would ask but he could always say it was a secret. Their lives were already filled with secrets, one extra wouldn't kill anybody. Without saying a word he opened the car door and got his suitcase containing the case of the ''female masterminds'' who've been keeping his mind busy and have been getting in the way many times for them to have more time together and even now it still had to pop up. Quickly he puts the suitcase in the trunk next to his guns and closed the trunk.

''Sorry to have kept you waiting, Bambina'' John said with a smile as he held the door for her open waiting for her to get in. Once she was seated, he quickly walked around the car to get in and drive off to his home.

      • Watching him once he released her hand and moved to his car, tilting her head as he began to contemplate over whatever he was going to do about something in his car. It didn't pick at her curiosity as much as it would for most women, no because it was easy for Bambi to just figure that it was something he wanted to get out of the seat or eyesight before she got into the car, and it was probably something of manners that he didn't want her to be crammed up in there. Only once glancing down at the suitcase that most gentlemen with a job would, there was always something easy for her to find an optimistic route to, despite being able to rob a bank in broad daylight and have no witnesses. However, there were other things clouding up her mind now, not particularly anything in regards to banks or whatever was in his 'gentleman with a job' suitcase, though her mind was on spending her available time with John.

Hearing the sound of the trunk close, she took a few steps forward toward the car, her lips curling into a smile when he opened the door for her, shaking her head at him. "Five minutes extra of waiting isn't going to kill me." Considerably, they had both been waiting depending on how one their schedule's worked. Sure, they both knew nothing about one anothers lives, but you have to consider whatever it was they did for a living. . Sadly, neither one of them knew that about each other. Settling in the passenger seat of his car, she watched him move toward the driver's side, leaning over and doing the womanly thing of unlocking his door, before leaning back to her own seat once he got in. She'd missed him, and she would make sure he knew such a thing when they got to his home.
        [/list:u][/list:u][/list:u]

''You know that I don't want to waste a second when I am with you" the man said as she got into the car and settled herself. Every small thing she did from a giggle or unlocking the car door for him made him smile. John wasn't used to having a lady like her around him. He had a few as clients but he would have never imagined them to be in a relationship with him. John hoped deep inside that he wouldn't be called but he could always put the phone of the hook, just to get his mind of those bankrobbers and be fully concentrated on her. There were days that John doubted if he could ever catch the gang; they were like ghosts. Ghost with a large sum of money on their heads and alot of "off-the-record" detectives looking for them.

The motor of the car roared as he turned the key and drove out of the parking spot. It was a fifteen minute drive but it seemed long since they had little to talk about, all John could do was glance a few times and smile. Asking what she did in those weeks they didn't see eachother was not possible. He tapped his fingers on the steering wheel as he though about something to talk about "Soo...what do you want to do beside the obvious, since we have a day extra to be together"

It was the best thing he could come up with to break the silence and he could always find out something new about her in the form of restaurants, movie-theathers and night life.

      • Unfortunately, Bambina had been there before when he got a phone call of some sort and they had to cut an evening short, mentally saying to herself that that would not happen tonight or tomorrow, because if he didn't put that damn phone off the hook, this beautiful woman here surely would. Hell, maybe even take the plug from the wall. Yes, that was what she would do. Considerably, to any outlookers to their relationship, he was a damn lucky man to have Bambi, even if their relationship allowed them to 'see other people', seeing other people wasn't the same as seeing each other, which in fact made him lucky. Perhaps one of them found something better in someone else? Then their relationship wouldn't be the way it is now. She considered that attatchment to be fabulous, looking over the side of his face with a mildly curious expression, smiling when he asked what she wanted to do between today and tomorrow.

"We should have a picnic to celebrate," Pausing for a moment, her hazel eyes found themselves staring out the windshield, looking back at him with her soft smile, "Two whole days with each other." Although she was oddly comfortable around this man, she was not at any circumstance ready to tell him about what she did for a living. He was too perfect of a man for her to do that, hating that she avoided that truth, but it wasn't as though he didn't do the same. Not to say that made the situation any better. [/list:u][/list:u][/list:u]

All John could was laugh softly and nervous at the decision to go on a picnic with her. Her answer got him off guard and his mind was already picturing on how it would go. Horrible. Picnics always radiate the type of romans that could be read in books, seen on screen and even sometimes in real life but that was when John was hired by another client who though that his or her lover was seeing someone else. But was she expecting romance? John glanced at her for a second pondering if this was just a simple celebration or more. He could ofcourse ask more questions and fish around until he got an useful answer. It was then that he had to stop himself before John would do anything stupid. He should be enjoying his two days with her not playing detective. Everything is perfect as it is and he should just let it be.

''...Sounds good. A picnic it will be then. We would have to make a little stop at the grocery store but that is something we can worry about later.'' Even though he was feeling a bit uncomfortable with the idea, he couldn't say no. They finally had more then a measily twenty-four hours, sometimes they had even less time or had to go with a quick fun under the sheets. Also he simply couldn't say no to her. She could call him in the middle of the night with a problem and he wouldn't hang up or hesitate to come over. His eyes slowly went of the road, looking at her as he think about how lucky he was with her and that his chances to find somebody alike was low and wondering what a woman like Bambi sees in him. For now he was calling it luck and nothing else.

They arrived at his home. A house in the centre of town, known for the mid-class citizens who lived there. Being a detective might be an exciting job but it wasn't always one to make a wallet overflow with money. The house was perfect though. He had all the rooms he needed and an a study to do his work in peace and always able to lock the door when she would come over. ''Home sweet home'' John said with a smile as he parked the car infront of the door. As soon as he had turned of the engine he leaned forward to kiss her once again. This time with a mixture of passion and lust as he lipped her lips when he broke the kiss ''I have been waiting to long to do that'' he whispered softly and unlocked the door for her before he got out himself.
