Behind the reading glasses blink dark, forest green eyes, little flecks of gold evident just around the edges of the irises. Her hair is…multidimensional. So many different tones define it, to pick out its primary color is a challenge. Appearance: Synclair is a tall, muscular man who takes pride in helping the community. Standing at six foot three, there are a number of guys that are taller than him...but not many. His skin is dark, from his hours under the sun, and his blue eyes stand out because of it. His short, thick brown hair tends to fall into his eyes, but it actually looks rather cute on him. His face is square, his cheekbones defined. All in all? He is a handsome older man, who looks several years younger than he really is. There is a small, yet noticeable scar underneath his right ear, and he often wears an ivory earring in the other ear. One rather endearing thing about him is the fact that you will often find him wearing mismatched clothes, whether it be his socks, or his shirt and pants.

Personality: Synclair is the absent-minded, shy, cute sort of person who can't seem to keep his head on straight. He has trouble remembering things...and at times, he can't even recall what his name is. He is sweet, though...and is always willing to help a person out.

Personality: Maricela has all the attributes of a ravenclaw she is hardworking, with a wise and pretty rational head on her shoulders. She has clever and wit in action and in words it does not take her long to pull forth the information she needs. Though sometimes she does get stumped in everyday conversations not expecting such lax questions to be asked, it can confuse her. A bit to herself but not a stranger to company when it presents itself to her. Also like most Reavenclaw's she is creative and has many interested some of them being a bit odd.

Personality: In the classroom, and with anything pertaining to studies, Katya is very serious, stern, but helpful, wanting students to succeed. She believes a good education is one of the best things a person can do for themselves, something instilled in her by her parents. She doesn't like troublemakers in class, and is strict about listening to lectures, but is always willing to help a student, answer any legitimate question, stay late to go over something again. Outside of the classroom, she's a totally different person. Fun-loving, goofy, a very good sense of humor. She helps in planning the various events at Hogwarts with dances, parties, and such for the students and faculty. When its open she often goes to Hogsmeade, loving to get out and see the village. She loves meeting people, hearing stories about their lives and what they have seen.

History: Delilah Smith married Yuri Murokov a few months before Katya was born, the two very much in love and happy, staying in Russia with Yuri's family. Katya spent the first few years of her life in Russia with her father's family and her mother, her father working a lot. They were happy for a while, relatively, at least. Government and other troubles were fairly constant, but they got by, together. It came to a point when her father didn't come home from work one day, and her mother made her pack her things quickly. They got out of Saint Petersburg fast, not stopping until they got to England, where Delilah's family was. They were almost caught, at the border, when their false papers didn't fool the patrol. Scared, Katya stared at the barrier blocking them, and suddenly, it was much smaller. Not bothering to question it, they drove off. Several incidents like that happened where Katya couldn't explain it, until finally she got a mysterious letter in the mail. She was a witch, and was invited to attend Hogwarts School. Her mother allowed it, so proud of her little girl. Katya was very serious about her studies, finding particular interest in the more technical magic types like potions, astronomy, and most of all, transfiguration. She was able to move ahead in Transfiguration actually, catching onto it very quickly. She loved every minute of her time at Hogwarts, never wanting it to end. The people, the classes, the professors, and most of all, she was learning magic. Her dream came true a little after she'd graduated, when the offer came to become the Transfiguration professor. She accepted, and has taught there for a little over a year now.

He doesn't care when his students come a little bit late to his class as long as they try their best to learn from him.

History: Ghalaghor was born in Edinburgh, the capitol of Scotland. He had a normal life until he discovered that he could use magic like his mother. Ghalaghor had the vision that he would be a teacher at hogwarts when he was ten and decided to do everything to make this vision come true. He graduated in Hogwarts with good grades and got hired as the teacher for divination after he talked to the headmistress Nilsa Purcell. Ghalaghor is an animagus, but it is unknown in what he can turn. Maybe his wand holds a clue to that mystery...

History: Lyzahna was born into a family of wizards and muggles. Her younger sister is a squib, but she can use a little bit magic and gets homeschooled until she can use magic like other wizards and witches can. Lyz looks like a normal girl, but she holds a secret inside her body: she can use magic by just using her hands. Something strange happened when she went to a shop to buy a wand. Every single wand started to levitate in front of her as soon as she touched it, began to glow and trembled for a second before it flew back into its box and back to where it got pulled out from. Lizzy tried to explain that she didn't need a wand to use magic and waved her arms around. She didn't want to use magic, but her uncontrolled magic made all the wands in the shop get out and dance around. They glowed and let lose a firework of magic before they got back into their packages. Lyzahna can now control her magic better, but she has to learn at least as twice as hard before she can use a spell like others.

Tall, broad, and rather fit, Archon has a blend of brown and blonde hair, with dark eyes.

Personality: Archon is sharp-witted and a powerful wizard, being brilliant in his chosen field. He is highly sarcastic and snarky, but can be kind and compassionate to those that he finds particularly talented or worth his time.

History: Born to a Pureblood Slytherin family, he was introduced to Potions at a young age, as well as some of the more complex magical theories. He isn't known as a great friend of the Gryffindors, but he doesn't resent them either. He is also Head of House for Slytherin.

I don't know how much about the potterverse we should know. I read the seven books and saw the eight movies, but that was some time ago. I can remember most of what happened, but I can't remember everything.

Appearance: Siobhan is dark and beautiful like the lake that reflects the glittering stars on a moonless night. Effortlessly, she manifests the poise and bearing of a Queen; nothing in her demanding attention or commanding respect yet it's common for both to be lavished upon her. Jet black hair, silky and straight, frames her face with its delicately aristocratic features and contrasts alluringly with her flawless alabaster skin. Her most striking feature is the color of her almond shaped eyes, from a distance they read as hazel but on closer inspection they are revealed to be the color of velvety, crimson rose petals.

Personality: Cool headed, though sometimes dramatic. She does have a sense to try to prove herself, due to her history as it relates to the wizarding world. She does have a mischievous streak, and ends up in detention for various, usually minor infractions. She enjoys flying more than anything, and often finds her way to out of the way areas for solitude, especially to study. It is through this love and ability of flying that she has risen to the rank of Slytherin Quidditch Captain. She speaks with a drawn out, almost sickly sweet, deep Louisiana southern drawl that most of the people around her find hard to understand, this being England proper. Still, it does have something of an...effect on some. She enjoys twirling her hair with her wand. Desiree is popular with her fellow students and professors, and her friendship with Siobhan has been steady since the first year. She's not a fool, being friends with the Headmistress's niece could pay dividends down the road.

History: Desiree's life is pretty much a mystery to everyone, even her. How her mother ended up in New Orleans from England is anyone's guess, and what happened to her father is even more of a mystery. Hell, WHO her father is remains a question, her mother is very, very tight lipped about it all, and Desiree stopped pushing for the information when she turned 9. She doesn't care anymore. When she was 15, she walked into her house and there was her mother, talking to some robed woman that she'd never seen before. Her mother held a letter, and she tapped it against her hand.

"Desiree, this woman has something to say to you. Sit down and pay attention."

And that was how it all started. Desiree doesn't go home except for summer break, and at that time she stays in her mother's secluded antebellum plantation home, studying (but not practicing) her magic under her mother's supervision (her wand is locked away every summer), and practicing her flying at night. The two don't get along in spectacular fashion, but Desiree knows her limits. Her mother told her once, after a particularly moderate streak of mischief with the muggle neighbors, that she would turn her into a small turtle and let the gators eat her. Desiree believed her then, and still believes her now.

She should.

Desiree doesn't get letters or parcels from home. No owl can make it. For this same reason, her mother is generally in the dark about how much trouble she gets into.

History: Holly had always a strong connection with Holden thanks to being his twin, but she discovered that she shared a telepathical link with him when they were younger. Being always mentally connected with her twin changed her over time and made her becoming similar and different at the same time than her brother.
