Stop warning to click them and I won't be so tempted! You do it on purpose! D:

-scoffs- Super lame. It hurt my heart.

Yeah I remember now! I thanked you for adding him to the demise list xP

So, if I was like, "Mali, you have to click this, go on, go on, you'll love it," then you wouldn't click?

I'm sorry, guess I'm just lucky that I've never seen the original.

You did, and I was also going to add the entire cast of friends, except Chandler, to the demised list as well, but then thought that might be going a little too far! Though, would anyone really miss Ross?

By the way, Mali, you have to click this, go on, go on, you'll love it; no clowns or scary movies here!]

Now, there's a classic movie they shouldn't be re-making!

I don't know...it's hard to say xP

THE ORIGINAL IS THE BEST! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?! DON'T ANSWER THAT!

LOL! I don't think they would have any reason to be there to be honest. But yes! I'd miss Ross! He and Chandler were the best! He could deliver a line of absolute misery in the most hilarious way! Who else could do that?!

...I clicked it. So apparently it is my fault. What is wrong with me that I have the curiosity of a cat? >.< Stupid Mali! Stupid stupid stupid!

I think you provided the answer in your last line!

You might be a little biased; at least give the remake a chance! xD

Fine, we'll let sad-sack Ross live, but surely no-one would miss Phoebe? Her voice could be the cause of my headaches!

I'll refrain from saying I-told-you-so, xD

Ah, that moment when you wake up in the morning with lights and no power, and youre brain's that fuzzy all you can do is stress and wander around in a confused daze for twenty minutes, wonder what the fuck's wrong, and how much an electrician is going to cost, before you realise it's just a simple matter of re-setting the tripped switch!

Then, you check the mail box on the way out, and find an electricity bill that's quadruple the last one, due to problems you had with the hot water heater a couple of months ago.

It's going to be a good day :)

Shhh xD although I am so fascinated by It that I ordered the book last night lol. I need to read this!

Who would ever defend this kind of remake?! I don't k ow you anymore! D: you're a completely different person to me. Forever!

Actually I love phoebe too lol. I wouldn't miss Rachel or Monica too much xP

Can't believe you actually ordered it! It's a little slow, like most Stephen King books, but I loved when I first read it. Don't blame me for the nightmares!

Thought it was about time I displayed another side to my personality around here; you don't like? xD

Doesn't surprise me at all that Phoebe would be one of your favourites! xD

I got curious! Plus I do want to watch the original and the remake. So I gotta be prepared xD And compare how badly they did the movies lack of justice to the original novel xD Darn, I can't blame you? Whyever not?!

NO! That's not something to be proud of! Lol.

Well I take a page or several from her dirtiest bitch book :D

Curiosity will get the better of you one day. Oh, and you'll watch the remake of this movie; I see how it is! I can only think of about two that I even came close to enjoying as much as the novels they were based on.

No, but having multiple personalities does keep things interesting, and I never get bored with talking to myself. Call me Sybil.

I'm sure she stole even more back from yours!

Oh I'm sure. Hey I said I want to watch the original AND the remake. I do it in order. Plus the original Tim Curry plays Pennywise :D Bill Skarsgaard has a lot to live up to for the remake xP I can't even think of any. Well except maybe Pride and Prejudice but that is more so the A&E mini series rather than the Kiera Knightly movie version.

-mind fuck- Hi Sybil. I'm Momo. I'm a flying lemur! O.O

Considering she didn't create the character and that I was two when the first season aired, I highly doubt it xD

You did, but you still refusing to watch the remake of The Lion King! For me, it's Shawshank Redemption, and Mystic River, from the novel by Denis Lehane. Never seen or read Pride and Prejudice in any form, and don't think I ever will, xD

Lol, I have absolutely no response to that!

Semantics, semantics.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Stories are slow, with a couple possibly to go on hiatus at the moment, due to real-life intervening, but it appears I've finally picked up one on E. It'll be a supernatural departure for me, centred around a reincarnation theme. It's interesting, considering my struggles coming up with original plots from a blank-slate, how quickly my creativity kicks into gear when I have a potential collaborator who's willing to engage in a mutual exchange of ideas, rather than being in an impatient rush to start, or expects a plot perfectly tailored to their individual tastes right off the bat. Unfortunately, I do appear to be one of the few people to prioritise overall compatibility and preferences ahead of specific plots when determining initial interest.

On the rare occasion I do run into a like-minded person, plotting is something I love, sometimes as much as the writing itself; just kicking random ideas, some mundane, many totally crazy, back and forth, adding certain details and discarding others as we go, until voila, we suddenly have a story we're both fully invested in, because we've both contributed to its creation. Rather than my mind remaining a blank-slate when it has an overarching concept to focus on and someone to bounce off, it instead tends to become consumed with so many different possibilities that it needs help to be reigned in, and what we end up with could be so far away from our original starting point that it's barely recognisable as having stemmed from the same seed.

On that note, I'm already in the process of planning my next with two of my partners, including, amusingly enough, considering the length of time it's being going, and the amount of stops and starts it's had, a sequel to Internet Killers; a standalone story in it's own right, but having it's plot created by events that occur in the first. Completing two separate stories in the one series, now that'd be an achievement to aim for, though knowing me, I then wouldn't be satisfied until we went for the trilogy.

Why would I when the original was the best ever? xP
Ooh Shawshank Redemption was my mom's favorite movie ^^
Pfft, don't hate on Jane Austen!

Hey you started it xD

-mocks Quix- Semantics, semantics >< I know. I'm childish. Lol.

But it won't remain the best ever after the remake is released!
It's one of mine, too.
I'll hate on whatever I want to hate on, and after I'm done with Jane Austen, I'll start (again!) on Shades of Grey, followed by Twilight.

And you finished it.

-shakes head at such childish behaviour-. Not fair. I'd threaten to punish you for your mockery, but you'd only enjoy that, so I'm in a no-win situation!

"Be gone, Rudesby!"

Yes I did! :D

I'm on a roll! First with our PM and now here too? Damn I'm too good :D -toots my own horn-

We'll see.
I know you don't really want me gone, xD

You should be proud!

Savour victory for the short time it lasts, xD

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

One story goes on hiatus, and another returns. Welcome back, Karmen, you were missed! (Oh, and you too, Sumi!)

When I decide on how many roleplays I can take on, I do under the assumption that at least one or two of my partners will be on hiatus, or caught up with real-life, at any given time. I really don't know what I'd do if they were all active at once. Probably end up in the loony bin!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

But, but, you always wanna with me, Mali!
Don't worry, we all say things we don't mean sometimes. Shall I asume that last a rhetorical question? xD

I always seem to bear the brunt when it does happen!

Awesome, it'll just make your subsequent public defeat even sweeter xD

And, he may well have predicted the rise of Donald Trump as President!

2015-02-18-59e3f899.jpg

Of that particular issue no I don't xD
Lol don't answer it. It was rhetorical lol. You will spend a great deal of time analyzing what is wrong with me xP

And yes I think he did predict the appearance of trump on the ballots for president. I learned that people who are now dead but did great things predicted a lot of what is actually happening right now. No one listened and no one is listening now.

I don't think you have too much to worry about as far as him being President. When it comes to these things, I don't worry about what the opinion polls, political commentators, tv news shows, or papers, have to say, but go straight to those whose entire livelihood and reputations rely on getting it right; the bookmakers! They have Trump at fairly long odds.

A writing sample I'm quite proud of. Something different from usual, in a more action-orientated story with Mali. Writing any sort of action sequence is a struggle for me, due to my lack of visualisation abilities, where an awareness of the external environment and placement of objects becomes a lot more important, so whilst composing each post is a challenge, it's a fun one!

A Royal Catastrophe - Quix and Mali

Watching the machine gun turret slowly turn towards them, Ben was in a quandary of exactly how to make it to their destination without being shredded to pieces, when Sky grabbed his arm. Bullets ricocheted around them, and there didn't appear to be a clear path, even if they continued to ziz-zag. Then he noted their one opportunity, however, Sky had beaten him to it, and before he could open his mouth, she'd already commenced to drag them towards the opened doors of the elevator; a slug furrowing his scalp as the metal doors closed behind them. "Fuck, that was a little." Weapon in hand, he urged the car to move faster, and checked himself in the mirrored rear wall patted down his newly-parted hair, and forced a smile when he turned to face Schuyler. "Hair-raising."

The joke intended to calm the woman before they exited on the top floor, and were once more in the midst of a war zone, the Spy swiftly realised it hadn't really been required. Sky seemed to be even more composed than he was, and a quick-thinker to boot. Nodding as she spoke, and keeping one eye on the floor numbers flashing past on the LED display, his full attention was soon drawn to her. 'What the fuck?" Shaking his head, the man's eyes followed her movements, even at a time like this, lingering on the revealed cleavage a moment longer than was totally appropriate, before he refocused on her face, and gripped Schuyler's shoulder. "Are you kidding me?"

His expression changed when the elevator bell dinged; it wasn't like he had a better plan. "What the hell, it just might work." Hardly able to believe he'd said that, the doors opened, leaving him no chance to regret it before he jumped out, and called back over his shoulder. "You better not die when I'm just beginning to like you. And don't forget those valuable assets now belong to the United Kingdom."

Rushing forward, Ben missed Sky's shedding of her trench-coat, but not the group of rebels eyes widening, and pupils opening in shock, and some other, more lustful expression, as he allowed his legs to buckle under him. The MI6 agent's ass ass hit the floor, and forward momentum drove his feet into the knees of two men, sending them tumbling like bowling pins. Once through, and clear on the other side, he backflipped to his feet, and left Sky to deal with the rest.

"Shit." Spotting the barrel of a gun aimed directly at his head, the Spy immediately hit the floor again, this time initiating a forward triple-somersault, and a slug whizzed in the air where Ben's brain would have been, simultaneously as he slammed his head into the man's stomach, eliciting a surprised groan, and sent him catapulting over the railing. A scream following all the way behind him, until it abruptly stopped when his body impacted the ground floor with enough force to break every bone. However, the spy didn't pause to witness the landing.

Instead, as the man fell, he'd slipped the knife from the scabbard on his belt, turned, twisted, and hurled it end over end, impaling the heart of the ninja who stood on the skids of the helicopter. The Russian's death throes caused his finger to jam on the trigger of his weapon, and shoot a hail of bullets into the air, before he fell forward, and hung upside down off the skids, suspended by one foot. He was the last, and with the path cleared, Ben's instinctual reaction was to stop and assist Sky behind him, but as he turned to do so, the Helicopter pilot, obviously aware of their intent, began to lift the aircraft towards the roof line. Five or ten seconds and it'd be out of his reach, so she'd need be left to her own devices.

Certain, at least, that Schuyler remained alive, by the banter he heard, he could only think, "at least they didn't call her a hooker", before sprinting towards the chopper. No gymnastics on this occasion. As soon as he gained leverage, Ben clambered up, avoiding the boot that attempted to stomp his fingers, hooked the man's ankle with one arm, and dumped him on his ass, then entered the cockpit, and planted a bullet in his head. At that precise moment an explosion ripped through the air.

His heart sunk, and Ben was consumed with a sense of failure, as his gaze searched for what remained of Schuyler Lassiter. Flames and amputated limbs shot out from a cloud of smoke, and he consoled himself with the fact that at least she'd gone painlessly, and taken a few with her. Then, a female voice split the air, screaming his name, and a huge smile broke out on his face. He should have known she wouldn't have gone that easily. However, his pleased expression swiftly dissipated when he noted her precarious location, and the throng of machine-gun wielding thugs remaining on the lower floors.

There was no way he could both retain control of the chopper and run to her aid, so he scanned the area to find a solution. "Hang on Sky, I've an idea." Ben's gaze landed on the dead Russian hanging off the skid. Acting swiftly, he removed the knife embedded in his chest, sliced at the man's clothing, then kicked him over the edge, met Sky's eyes, and tossed the leather harness, attached to a thick nylon rope, he'd been wearing, in her direction, expertly landing it two inches away. "Clamber into that," he screamed over the cacophonous noise of the rotors, and glanced over his shoulder. "And hurry." Two dark specks had appeared on the horizon, headed towards them.

All Ben could hope as he ensured his end of the rope was securely fastened to the frame of the chopper, then dropped into the pilot's chair, placed his hand on the throttle, and began to raise the aircraft higher, in order to facilitate their escape before further company arrived, was that Sky's dance training incorporated climbing practice. Or she'd be left dangling in the air, like a worm at the end of a fisherman's hook, until he could dare stop to assist. At least the two disparate groups of assailants were now apparently too occupied shooting at each other that it appeared they'd momentarily forgotten their real quarry. Fucking amateurs!

You'd think by now, considering my threads, and the amount of times I've mentioned it in this journal, that people who approached me would, when referring to their characters, leave the terms 'sub' and 'submissive' out of it.

I don't care if an you're an 'obstreperous' sub, a 'feisty' sub' a 'difficult,' 'sad', 'unique, 'unsubby or 'easy' sub, a 'subby sub who's not really a sub' sub, nor any other type of sub. It's the sub and submissive label/word I loathe, and that causes any potential mental and sexual interest I, or my characters, may have had in the other to drop so low they couldn't be reignited by an entire warehouse of Viagra. What's so difficult to comprehend about that?

Should a guy expect a lesbian's preferences to change simply because, when approaching her, he's placed an adjective in front of the 'male' noun?

"Hey baby, I know you're gay and not, in the slightest, sexually attracted to men, but my characters aren't just males, they're happy males. Bet that distinction has turned you straight, and makes you wanna screw their brains out now, right?"

How about I try the above line on all the ladies requesting f/f stories around here?

-continues to bang head against brick wall-

If you don't really mean the terms as they are commonly defined, maybe stop using them to label your characters with?

As much as I know that some people take my rants seriously, imagining my face bright red with anger, and flames of fury shooting from my fingertips, whilst I write them, possibly thinking, "what a fucking asshole" when they read my latest bitch-fest, assuming I mean every last word literally, that couldn't be further from the truth (okay, well maybe apart from the asshole bit!).

Although, I will admit they are often intended to highlight what I believe to be valid points or principles, they're very rarely, if ever, posted out of real, immediate frustration, and never from true anger or emotion; but purely in calm, good humour, and a spirit of exaggerated, hyperbolic fun.

That my partners/friends on here totally understand that and get my humour and intent, and can appreciate it for what it is, is why I mesh with them so well.

"But speaking of, I couldn't not say anything. Your last rant had me dying of laughter and at work no less!"

totally made my day, as that's a lot of the reason behind why they're written as they are, and there's nothing better than knowing I've made a friend smile or laugh.

Stop taking me so damn seriously and everything I say so damn literally!

Or don't, because that's fun too!

Still getting over the shock of finding out from a news article that America has only recently discovered the magic of Fairy Bread!

I mean, what the hell else have you been feeding kids at birthday parties for the past century or so?

I thought you liked them thick, Mali! Just devour it a little at a time, until eventually you've taken it all in. I probably should have warned you it's over 1.000 pages!

Can't believe that in almost three years, and with the knowledge of your love of Tinkerbell, I've never mentioned Fairy Bread! It's perfect for her.

I do! Just...that's a lot of horror lol xD I am sure I will take it all in eventually. Just gotta go inch by inch until it's all fully deep inside of me. :D You probably should have!

QUIX HOW COULD YOU?!!!! Three years and you never mentioned it before until now?! What have I done to earn that kind of negligence? Haven't I done enough for you?? I was your first! :D

It's a Stephen King novel, so nothing happens for the first 500 pages or so! Telling you would have spoiled the surprise!

Don't worry, you didn't do anything, I'm negligent to everyone. You are the first I ever finished with, and I must have performed adequately, because you haven't stopped doing it with me since. Now in public, and all :)

Am proud of myself, for expanding my vocabulary! Just used the word 'strumpet' in a story post, for the first time ever, and thought it read quite naturally. Though, Shakespeare I'm not.

Have sorted everything out re my brother and his kennels, and they're getting closer every day to opening. He's now mostly waiting for a road to go in. As the property/business is on a one-lane highway, for safety, he's had to pay for a new turn-off lane to be built. Not cheap, and a heap of red tape.

And because I can't have a dog where I live (well, not two big dogs, as I'd want, because I don't leaving like the idea of leaving one by itself all day), as the yards not big enough, I'm going to claim his as mine! Chole, the bearded Collie, the only reason I visit him!
