The Chaos Emeralds....an ancient cluster of 7 crystals, ruled by, the Master Emerald. for thousands of years they were used to cause destruction and wars, poverty, and just plan suffering, after being sealed away in the deep reaches of space for thousands of years, a familer face, Rita Repulsa, and her Husband, Lord Zedd, stumble upon a chest holding 3 out of 7 Emeralds, and with the power they hold they use the power to destroy the morphing grid and return to earth to try and take over once again, but little do they know deep in the Gobi Desert, the Command Center that once housed The Power Rangers, was still intact, with both Zordon and Alpha in a state of hyper sleep.
The disturbance in the Morphing Grid awakens Zordon, who in keeping the power of the Tyrannosaurus, Sabertooth Tiger, Triceratops, Pterodactyl, and Mastodon. power coin locked away, must reawaken the powers that here put to rest over 20 years ago, with Rita, banishing all current Powers in the morphing grid rendering them useless and leaving earth open to attack, Zordon must contact the old Rangers and maybe New Rangers to take control of the Mega Zords and stop Rita's task of gathering the Emeralds!
