A young single mother is doing her best to raise her child on her own with little to no help coming from the father. Currently, she works as a stripper to pay the bills and make ends meet. In her free time, she takes classes online in hopes of securing a better future for her and her child. However, in the present, she has hit a financial rough patch and needs to come up with extra cash. In an act of desperation, she posts an online ad for various "services" to offer to men. Feeling shame and regret, she pulls the ad down but not before getting a large amount of replies to her offer. Most are fairly predictable in nature, but one message out of many sticks out.
From a young shy man comes a well written, polite, and respectful message, stating a desire for her company. He seeks someone to talk to, to take on dates, and to bring to certain familial/professional functions to pose as his significant other. There is no mention of sex. His offer of compensation is legitimate and generous.
What comes of it all is a fascinating tale of two broken souls finding happiness together in the most unlikely of circumstances.
