Dante received his acceptance letter to the University of Merlin Magics this morning. He read the whole thing 5 or 6 times before it finally sunk in. He had heard that UMM was like Harvard or Princeton but for spell-casters like him. His test results must have been phenomenal to be accepted there. If it were any other wizard college, Dante might have turned them down. He had planned to continue going to mortal colleges with his best friend like he had always done. He had been friends with the girl for years and years. But she couldn't come with him to UMM...she's a mortal.

Dante sat on his bed and tried to think of how he could sneak her into college with him. Maybe not as a student, but maybe on campus to live with him in the dorms. But would she even want to come with him? Her life would have to change drastically...and Dante hadn't even told her he was a wizard yet. Depression started to settle in. She probably wouldn't react well to him keeping such a big secret from her. She might even think he had gone insane. In her world, magic wasn't real.

Dante stood up from his bed; his mind made up. He would tell her he was a wizard. He would tell her that he had been accepted to a prestigious wizard college, and that he would have to leave her behind. He slipped his cellphone out of his pocket and texted her to meet with him in their special place. It wasn't exactly a hiding place. Anyone could get there, but no one ever did. It was a clearing that was surrounded by trees. From the outside, it looked like a thick patch of woods, but no one else knew about the clearing at the center. He and his friend would go there so they could be alone and study together. The place had sentimental value to the both of them, so he figured it would be the perfect place to tell her his secret. Hopefully she would take the news better than he imagined she would.

Winter lay back in the grass staring up at the sky with a small yawn while she waited for him. The lightly tan girl stared up at the clouds, eyes watching the leaves on the trees flutter.

Her black hair spread out on the grass under her head, fingers picking at the grass as she lays there her robins egg bluet-shirt pulled tight over her relatively small breasts . Part of her flat some what muscular belly was exposed as she lay back a pair of red track pants hugging her hips as she stretches out her legs again.

High school was over, and she knew her friend had a university in mind already, she did as well. She had gotten a track running scholar ship to a school half way across the country, which put it all the way across the country. She sighs softly arching her back a little as she sat up her hair falling around her shoulders down to her mid back. She was gonna try one last time to get him to come with her, he could easily get a scholarship in her school, She had thought about trying to go to his , but she didn't even know the name of it , let alone what he was going to study.

Dante smiled when he saw his friend Winter sprawled on the ground waiting for him. If things were different, he would have just jumped on her and kissed her silly, but he was sure she didn't have those kind of feelings toward him. They had been friends for so long, and she had never given him the impression that she liked him more than a friend. Her runners build was attractive to him, but he would never say so. She might have caught his eyes wandering to her long legs or her sculpted butt, but she hadn't said anything to him if she had. The wind made the leaves rattle and it disguised his footsteps as he got closer. His heart was beating fast. He didn't know how she would react to him telling her he was a wizard.

"Did you run straight here?" He asked sarcastically. He stood to his full 6 ft height and his hazel eyes matched the dimpled smile he gave her. His short brown hair danced with the wind a bit as he looked down at her, his hands on his hips, expecting a sarcastic reply.

She glanced up as he approached and smirked as she sat up.

"In case you already forgot , running is kinda what i do." She chuckles pulling her fingers through her hair as she rose to pull free a leaf or two.

"Yeah kinda wanted to talk anyway. You still planning to go to that mystery school of yours? Seriously you should come to Hanaford with me. The place is great."
