If the target didn't show up soon, one of two things was going to happen. Either Nick was going to be too drunk to act, or they where going to have spend the bounty money on paying the bar tab.

Both options where pretty shitty in his book.

It had taken three weeks and a close to a thousand credits pay off to informants around the asteroid belt, not to mention the cost of fuel to track the target this far. But the guy was worth half a million so at very least they'd recoup the losses with extra cash to spare.

The bar was the typical dive that was common on the mining stations that littered the asteroid belts. A dimly lit cluster of worn out tables with a thick cloud of cigarette smoke hanging over it all despite the efforts of the lazily spinning ceiling fans. Nick looked over the top of the dark sunglasses he wore over his deep green eyes, watching a tall, thin figure with grey skin and ovals of black for eyes.

"Guy just walked in, first grey I've seen come in, could be him." he said, turning his attention briefly towards the woman who shared the table with him.

Nick ran a hand over the carpet of dirty blonde stubble that coated his jaw before taking a long pull from his drink, his attention going back to the alien who seemed to be moving rather nervously through the bar.

Emmeri yawned softly and seemed to be zoned out, watching the neww. Not the one on the tv though, the one that she could see with one of her eyes. "Huh?" The female tuned back to reality, her insanly blue eyes moving to the direction he was looking.

"Looks pretty sketchy to me.... Look at him... He looks like he's seen a ghost.." She muttered, though ghost probably wouldn't be the weirdest things people saw nowadays. Avvery yawned again, it had been a good 35 hours since she had last slept, and she needed it soon. "Well... you gonna get him? OR should I? Maybe you should, you've got some liquor in ya... Feelin' brave?" She teased, stealing a sip of her own drink.

Nick watched as the target made his way between the table, trying to hunch himself up and not draw attention to himself, but considering all the Greys where atleast 7 feet tall that was a hard thing for the target to do. Based on the information they had he was some two bit con man who had been swindling senior citizens out of their life savings. Hardly a real threat.

"Oh please. Just because I've been drinking doesn't mean I can't take him." he snorted as he downed the last of his drink, "beside," he said, nodding towards the target who was vanishing through the door to the men's room, "he's going somewhere you can't follow."

Slowly he pushed himself to his feet, one hand going to the blaster strapped to his thigh, his hand resting on the polished wooden grip as he crossed to the cheap plastic door and shoved it open. The Grey stood over the sink, the sound of running water filling the room. Nick approached him, tugging the weapon loose and resting a hand on the alien's narrow shoulder, "I'm here to take you in, you can come quietly, or I can make it hurt."

He caught site of the Grey's reflection in the mirror, opaque oval eyes narrowing a split second before he felt the shock wave hit. Nick was flung backwards, crashing though the cheap plastic wall of the prefab building and landing on a table that gave way under the impact. He let out a groan of pain, "Psyonic...." he muttered.

"Like I would want to go in there any way... Probably reeks more than a a freshly rotted corpse..." Emmeri snickered at her own joke before watching him get up. Instinctive, the woman got up after him, stopping at the door way. The wave couldn't be felt outside of the bathroom except for a low static feeling inside of her. "Oh fuck..." The cyborg backed away quickly, seconds before her partner flew through a wall.

"Ain't so big and bad are ya now?!" Emmeri yelled to her partner, pushing thick white hair out of her face and moving in for the Grey figure.

"Look, if you comply, perhaps you'll get off with a few sore limbs... Other wise this could get a lot uglier a lot faster." Emmeri spoke in a soothing tone, slowly stepping towards the figure. She had never dealt much with the Greys, but the few times she did, it never ended well.

The Grey took several long strides out of the bathroom, through the whole left by the flying bounty hunter, inclining its head to one side as someone else addressed it. It blinked quickly. Its long face becoming a featureless grey oval when its lids closed. A faint clicking sound came from it, their native tongue and wile Nick didn't understand it he was going to make a guess that it was saying it wasn't going to come peacefully.

There was a hum of energy and the bartender raised up a scatter blaster that caught the attention of the Grey and the man's head suddenly twisted 180 degrees and a wet snap filled the air before he slumped to the ground. The grey turned his attention back towards the woman and a shockwave launched out towards her.

A loud sigh slipped from Emmeri's lips when the bartender's head rotated. "Are you kidding? Why do we feel the need to resort to these things?!" The woman frowned as soon as the Grey turned towards her. She ran to the side and just barely avoided it. Causing her to trip up on her feet and slam her head on the table. It wasn't that it didn't hurt, but the spot she did hit was a pretty hard spot.

"Nick.. Get your ass up please!" Emmeri called, trying to get back up. People had fled the scene, though there was always those few that had to stay for the show. Emmeri moved towards the figure, not caring to be gentle this time. She lunged at the bigger creature, in an attempt to take it down. "Come'ere!"

"Trying....." Nick groaned from his place on the ground, rolling onto his stomach he groped around the splintered wood that was once a table for his blaster. "Stupid fuckin psyon....." he muttered to himself, shoving aside hunks of derbies in search of the weapon. His head as spinning, groggy and disoriented from blast through the wall.

The grey kept his attention focused on the woman, a quick wave of his hand and another shockwave flung across the room towards her, shattering tables and glasses and hurling other patrons aside in its wake on the collusion course with the cybernetic woman.
