Though-out the history of time there have been fights, battles, wars. Blood had been shed and lives had been lost, families torn apart, friends lost, lovers taken. It's a sad story, one that rips at the very heart strings, but it's a story of life. As long as there are at least two creatures that are so different from one another, this will always be the case, and the results will always be the same. Battles within worlds have gone on since the dawn of time, some would argue even before that, but battles between worlds... Battles like this one. They have been quite a bit less common. The battle against mortal and immortal, an ageless fight of power and control brought more to life, more to the front lines. Where innocence is pulled in, dreams are shattered and anything can happen.

Karista Katiousa was an immortal. A young neko, but she was also very much for the humans she lived with. When she lost her family and her home to whatever cause took them she found home with humans. Did they know she was immortal? No, of course not, they didn't know she was anything more than a regular black house cat. This was how she liked it, how she preferred it. She was to scared to tell otherwise. For the longest time she was safe, her new family, her new home. They were safe, but then people began to vanish. They blamed vampires.... Werewolves... Demons.... They blamed immortals. This of course made Kari very uneasy, and of course unsure. Curious she would sneak out at night to learn what she could. See who was taking the people of her home....

On the flip side of the same coin, immortals were being lashed out at by mortals, they were being attacked in their very homes. Having them burned to the ground. Hunted like wild animals. Who or what started this war is truly unknown, as was how long it had gone on, or how long it would continue to go on. Many creatures wished to put a stop to the blood shed, to walk away with their wounded and heal them, fix the walls that were broken and go back to their lives... While others simply wished to cut open the throats of the 'enemy' and come out triumphant. What did the future hold, and how much future would be left if this was the road that was continuously traveled down?

Kari sat for hours at a time perched in a tree in her cat form, watching, waiting for movement. She never saw more than shadows however, silhouettes that could be anything, human, vampire, werewolf, it was near impossible to tell. Perhaps it was little bits of both just being blown out of proportion by the mortals she lived with? Perhaps fear was consuming them all, rumors from other towns. She honestly knew little about most creatures as she didn't live in that world, but if the rumors were true, she wanted to know, and she wanted to know why.
