Love Remains The Love (LustLove & sexywriter777)

The doctor turned to Grim then and nodded his head. "It is no problem. We'll be performing a thoracentesis, which is where we'll be removing the excess fluids from the space between Kaleb's lungs. It's what is causing him to have difficulty breathing and we want to be able to relieve the pain. Also, it'll help to find the cause for the buildup of fluid. A sample will be taken to the lab and it'll be tested in order to narrow down what is making him sick." The doctor explained. "The surgery is a minimal invasion into the body. A small incision is made and a needle attached to a tube is then inserted in order to remove all the fluid. The procedure should take no more than an hour and recovery will be fast. Does that answer all your questions?" The doctors wondered, looking to Grim.

Thea was surprised to hear that Grim actually wanted the details of the surgery. She would have assumed that he might have stayed quiet but then she remembered who he was. He had always been inquisitive yet she was still happy to see he showed some interest in their son's health. Paul on the other hand still disapproved of Grim even being at the hospital. He felt it was none of the man's business but did his best to hide any frustration he may have had.

(It's fine)

Grim nodded slowly, listening carefully to the words as the doctor spoke them, taking them in and processing them with intense scrutiny. "So I assume there is little risk of trauma?" He asked quietly, a note of concern tinging his voice ever so slightly. Thea might have been able to notice it, but not many others. "Beyond that, I have no further questions." He could almost feel the little bit of approval he got from Thea, just seeing her face out of the corner of his eye, and it pleased him. Somehow, he had managed to earn some approval. At this point, he was willing to take what he could get, with her.

His questions answered, Grim stepped back a half-step, remaining in the ring of adults but removing himself from the focus, allowing others to express thoughts or questions. He wasn't one to stand in the spotlight for long- he never liked being the center of attention, though he could handle it well.
