RE: Issy's GK's - WIP

WIP - my new technique for Silver using multi-purpose acrylic polymer as both a medium for bolt-gun metal and adding a drop to the black wash. I've found with the polymer my washes over metallics are extra shiny and the paint really sicks to the recesses heavily and remains a thin glaze over raised edges.

Left is with Acrylic wash, right is without.

The difference in silver using polymer in washes and as a medium and my old way of simply using water.
With polymer:

Without:

The photo quality really doesn't do it justice but you can probably see, the old ones appear flat compared to the new ones. c:

Here's another unit I did with the polymer in a different light:

As soon as I can I'll be getting my hands on a camera for some better picture quality and I'll be updating this as I go with more WIPs and such as well as some other projects I have on my plate!

A reaper Mini I painted for my lovely partner's D&D character c: (Gosh it's been a long time since blending on a cape << I had fun! :D)

RE: Issy's GK's - WIP

God Issy, your GK look amazing! It makes me want to start up painting myself! I can't wait to see what else you come up with! ^^

RE: Issy's GK's - WIP

Painting is amazing Roc!

But I must say, I prefer the older GK models that had the belt fed storm bolters opposed to the clip loaded.
