Xavier sighed and ran a hand through the blonde mess of hair as the room began to fill up with elders and concorts of the lycan court. As he looked to his left a man of similair apperence but with age looked back at him and nodded. Xaviers head turned back facing forward revealing his telltale ice green eyes, the silver and black half mask he wore covered the left side of his face starting at the middle of his hir line and ran to the left corner of his lips and ended at the jaw line bottom edge of his chin. The elders nodded in respect to both xavier and his father as they entered. Once everyone was sitting the elder man stood up clearing his throat "we all are here for the sake of our race to end this war with the blood drinkers in two nights time this war shall cease with the union of the mased prince and the princess of the blood drinkers... I have spoke to them and they inform me that they do not wish to tell there princess of our race till she is wed to the rpince. For this we must hold the beast within us when she arrives here and until after the wedding in which time the masked one shall choose to tell her if he wishes"
Xavier blinked hearing this 'not tell her of my blood and i know of hers...what a load of crap' he thought to himself and decdided to not speak his mind but instead shit in his seat. Several elders nodded, not wishing to anger the king in fear of his rage. Though xavier could tell by the looks on several faces of other elders that they wanted to reject to that statement but also in fear to of the kings rage.

A young woman stood before her mother, father, and the court of her vamperic elders. Her long raven black hair flowed down over her shoulders and down to her mid back. Her bangs designed to cover the right side of her face, but pushed aside to keep it away from her sapphire blue eyes, but covered the right side of her forehead. Her sapphire eyes sparkled like gems and filled with light. Her skin was as pale as snow without a sign of flaw. Her body was one every woman would kill to have: thin and curvy like a living hourglass, her breast were large especially for her young age, her rear was nicely rounded and shaped. Obviously the jewel of the royal family, far more beautiful then her parents.

The council looked down at her with intense stares. All the pressure was on the young princess if this marriage was to fail the entire vamperic race was at stake, but this was unknown to Princess Elizabeth. All she knew was that she was to be married. The king and queen failed to tell her the one she would wed was a Lycan. Naturally they lied telling her he was a vampiric prince whom she needed to wed to take over the throne once her parents stepped down. They didn't want to lie to their beloved daughter, but because of her past, Elizabeth grew a hatred for the Lycans, but now she had to wed one. The intensity Elizabeth felt made her think this was something much more then she was told. Elizabeth didn't know him or know what to expect. In two days she'll be married to a complete stranger. "Do you understand you're task princess? For it you fail, you fail you're entire race." The head councilor questioned her. After a few seconds of silence she answered. "Yes, I'm aware and ready. I won't fail my people." Little did Elizabeth know what she was getting into.

Xavier stood as his father went on to other matters but not before telling them that the masked one would be escorted with a carriage to the home of his soon to be wife. He bit his bottom lip lightly and turned on heel and onto the marble hallway unlike most lycans he hated shoes, only wore them when dress attire was necessary. For now though he wore a simple pair of black pants and a gentlemans white top buttoned halfway. He flicked his eyes over temporarily at a window and a smile came to his face as he saw the moon shining brightly in the night sky. He knew that it would take a night to ride to the king dom of the bloodsuckers and of course sheltered at day so his bride will not turn to ash. He turned again to look forward as he decsended a flight of stairs and walked out through the giant oak doors that was the entrance to the castle that him and his father lived in along with his fathers two wives and there daughters. Of course him being the only son had it privilages some though he never took part of and also responsibilities like looking after his younger siblings.

In preparation to meet her new husband-to-be, Elizabeth was returned to her room to change into a more adequate dress. While she walked back to her room with her maids, Elizabeth looked out to the moon from the tall windows in the stone castle hallways. Elizabeth remembered when she used to love looking up to the moon, but now it just reminded her of her hate. So she looked away, glaring at the floor with pained eyes. Once she finally reached her large room she was dressed to wear a low cut dark blue dress so her shoulders and part of her chest exposed, giving a modest amount of cleavage. The dress covered her down to her feet with the lower part designed with black roses on their thorny vines covering over the dark blue. A necklace with at least a dozen different sized sapphires was placed around her neck to decorate her bare chest. Her arms were given long black fingerless gloves to went up to her elbows and a pair of dark blue sparkling high heels to go on her feet.

For a moment she spotted a small portrait on the wall by the coffin she slept in with candles lighting the darkness around it all. A young handsome man with golden blonde hair and stunning emerald eyes. The picture only brought her sadness, yet she just couldn't throw it away. Her dear friend and love of her life remained on her wall despite the tragedy and pain she felt in her heart. He was her only friend as a child since she had no brothers or sisters. He was the only child that lived in the castle and he became her best friend and the man she wished she was marrying. Her elegant hand ran over the portrait of her beloved as she whispered. "I'm so sorry." Her thoughts disturbed by a maid saying. "Your highness, it's time to go. Your new husband should be arriving soon."

Inded he was arriving on horseback when those words came from the maids mouth and touched the ear of the princess. A full mask now coverage his features leaving only the color of his eyes visible. His long blonde hair had been tied together to lay in a tail behind him with a black ribbon.
At arrival at the castle, he knew he would get some stares and so called dirty looks but he payed no never mind to them only to the direction he was escorted to. The gentlemens shirt he had worn earlier was now covered by a darker shirt followed by a one sidded pinned cape made off red silk that barley touched the ground with its end. The guards that came with xavier where in usual guard like armor and stayed close and behind the masked prince as he entered the chamber. Seeing the elders and royals he bowed bending at the hip then straightening back up "bl... I mean council and royals I am Xavier Delemonte"

Of course, the Vampiric residents of the large stone castle glared at the Lycan guests as they walked down to the council room where he and his bride shall meet for the first time. The Vamperic guards were armed and ready for the Lycans in case they foolishly decide to attack any Vampire in the castle with their armor and sliver weapons armed and ready all down the halls and corridors especially in the council room. Once he arrived the almost slip of the Vampiric insult made the elders look among themselves before the King rose from his throne saying. "Welcome Prince Xavier. We're glad you've arrived to end this war between our kind. This bloodshed has gone on too long and I don't want my daughter to fall victim to it again and I'm sure you were informed that she doesn't know what you truly are yet. She should be down soon enough."

Only a few seconds later did Elizabeth reach down to the council room to unexpectedly see the young masked man in the chamber along with the royal faces she was use to seeing. Elizabeth didn't say a word, she didn't know what to say or do now that he was here. Seeing his mask covering his face, she had to wonder why he did so. Did he not want his future wife to see his face? Curious thoughts ran through her mind. "Ah, here she is. This is my only child and your bride, Elizabeth." On introduction, she made her way to meet with the Prince. "It's nice to finally meet you." She smiled softly.

He nodded to the king "as our people agree as well" he turned when he heard her footsteps. A smiled played behind his mask even though she did not see it. He looked at her when she spoke revealing the ice green eyes "Hello princess elizabeth, I am xavier" he said to her and looked at the king "as per instructed the wedding shall be taken place at the waters edge near the Shom forest, he turned to face elizabeth and held out his right hand to her his left arm folded behind his back. ,whenever you are ready we shall leave I will understand if you wish to say goodbye to your family and if you wish I will wait outside" he said to her. The guards where still like statues there right hands on the hilt of there swords and there left arns folded behind there back.

Elizabeth was taken by the sight of his beautiful ice green eyes, the only thing see could see behind that mask of his. Though so far he seemed nice and polite maybe this wouldn't be so bad after all. As soon as he spoke to her parents, Elizabeth looked over to them to see their serious and intense stares that Elizabeth has grown to know all too well. The King replied with a nod and a half smile. "Of course, everything will go as planned." Elizabeth returned her gaze to the man before her, seeing him asking for her hand to leave her lifelong home. She looked back towards her parents to see her father smiling in aproval and her mother tearing up a bit gesturing her to go. Once Elizabeth was sure of herself, her gaze returned to Xavier and she placed her hand in his. "I've already said my goodbyes to my home. It would be harder to say them the longer I waited." She took a deep breath then smiled. "I'm ready when you are."

He nodded then looked towards her parents "she will be in capable hands and I want to say this as well if anything should arise where she feels threatened or misguide by me I give her free reign to come back to her home for however long she needs" he said to her then looked at the guards and nodded towards them, they turned on heel facing towards the door with xavier in tow "I hope you do not mind but we brought a blacked out carriage for your safety Elizabeth we should reach my home by nightfall but we must get you in there before the first rays start peeking over the horizon" he said to her as he walked out with her by his side. Once reaching the carriage he swung open the door for her to enter and held out a hand for her to hold onto while she stepped inside.

The King and Queen gave smiles after hearing Xavier's words and even Elizabeth was surprised by him. He must have a kind and understanding heart if he was willing to let her go back home if things were going bad between them. Hopefully that won't be the case. Elizabeth was ready to leave with her groom, the longer she saw her parent's faces the harder it would be for her to leave. Just before Xavier would walk out with her, Elizabeth made a curtsy and said. "Goodbye father and mother. I hope we can see each other again soon." She smiled at them then at Xavier as she walked out with him. She listened to Xavier and smiled to herself. She wasn't really surprised after all, he would need the carriage too since he must have been a vampire like her; who else would her parents want her to marry? Once they got to the carriage, Elizabeth held onto his hand as she stepped inside of the carriage and took her seat inside of the dark carriage.

He looked at her and followed her inside the carraige sitting oppisite of her. He curled his left hand to a fist and gently made a two tone tap on the ceiling signialing the drvier, which he responded by urging the horses and making the carraige move. His eyes never strayed from her sight as he did this. "So I am assuming Elizabeth you have questions for me if you do you can ask them I will answer truthly as possiable" he said to her as he lowered his arm and hand back down to his side.

Elizabeth held her hands in her lap looking into his eyes, the only thing she could look at behind that mask of his. Honestly she did have a few questions, but the biggest one was the mask. Never has she seen someone wear a mask to cover their entire face from her view. "I'll appreciate the honesty and...I'll do the same if you have questions for me." She paused for a second and asked "Why do you wear a mask? Is there something you're trying to hide?"

"I wear it sometimes around people I have never met just in case where to turn wrong I do not want them to know my face and also because of this" he reached up and took the mask off revealing a chisled face perfect except for the jagged scar that ran from cheek to cheek crossing over the bridge of his nose.

Elizabeth now saw the reason behind his mask and saw a valid reason behind it, but the moment she saw his face all words she had to say were gone. She saw his perfect handsome face, every detail crafted so beautifully expect for the crack of a scar covering his face from cheek to cheek. Without even thinking, Elizabeth put her hand softly on his cheek. Her thumb lightly tracing a the scar on his cheek. "What happened..." She asked almost like she was in a trance. The way the scar looked and how it was made, Elizabeth guessed it was the work of a pathetic mutt of a Lycan.

"A challenge in the ranks I walked away but the other didn't I walked away with this scar it reminds me every time I see it to be on alert especially when it involves something with my six younger sisters" he said to her. He layed the elegant mask down on the seat next to him. He touched her hand with his and grabbed it and placed a kiss on the back of her hand. ,I hope you don't mind but I have a temproay room set up for you at my home next to mine, the bedding is covered in teal colored silks. I do have a dressmake coming tonightt for you so you can have the wedding dress of your dreams." He said to her all the while still holding her hand.

Six sisters was a lot of family to Elizabeth, not that it was a bad thing, it was just odd for a vamperic family to have so many children. His parents must have really loved each other to have so many together. She couldn't say anything once she felt his hand take her own. Feeling his lips against the back of her hand through her silk gloves, she smiled softly and even blushed softly. "I don't mind at all. After all, it'll be a few days before it'll be okay to sleep in the same bed together. Thank you for everything you're doing." She said softly and looking down a bit shyly, but returned her gaze to him and held his hand in her own.

He smiled at her "oh your probably wondering how I have so many sister well. My father married my mom and had me but she passed away and well he fell for twin sister Anna and Lea so technically my six sister are half to me but it falls to me being the oldest and only son to look out after them the oldest is only 8 " he said to her

"Oh well that answered my second question...still it must be difficult having so many sisters and two new mothers...I'm an only child, but I had a friend that was practically my brother." She replied with a small smile that faded down to a frown as her eyes looked down to the ground. For a moment she stared down, but she quickly looked back to him pushing her hair behind her ear. "Anyway, do you have any questions for me or is there more I should know about you that I haven't asked about?"

"Well you can tell me whatever you like elizabeth I will not pressure you for anwers I know in due time some information you will tell me" he said to her and leaned back into the seat and picked up the mask and went to place it back on his face.

Elizabeth smiled at him softly, she knew soon enough everything will be known about each other. There were somethings too personal to tell for now, but once she trusted him enough, she'll tell him everything. When she saw he was trying to put on his mask again, Elizabeth put her hand on the mask gently asking. "Can you keep it off? Just for a little while? I like seeing your face."

"as you wish princessa" he told her as he used the formal term lycans used. He set the mask back down on the seat and moved a small piece of wood and peeked out blocking off any light then closed it again quickly. He looked at her "sun is up at the moment we will be making good time now we should be ther by nightfall" he told her "so question do you want certain colors at our well wedding" he asked her "I mean everything is planned out besides the colors and well your dress and all" he said to her and leaned back against the seat again.

She smiled at him sweetly once she saw he agreed to keep his mask off for now. Honestly she did love seeing his face, Elizabeth didn't care about the scar damaging his perfect face. In fact she found it even more attractive with it. Seeing him looking outside, Elizabeth was quick to make sure the sunlight didn't hit her, but lucky he kept it from hurting her. Though it was strange that he was looking at the sunlight, but he wasn't crying in pain. Doesn't the sun hurt him? Even though she wanted to talk about the wedding, she couldn't get that out of her mind. "H-hey are you okay? Didn't the sun hurt you when you looked outside?" She asked curiously and a bit confused.

He looked at her "sunblock" he said to her "if I know I am going out at all and the sun will be up I place it on my skin" he said and just to prove his point he ran a finger down his face and revealed to her a white liquid that was a almost oil base. He then also revealed a small vial in his chest pocket of the same liquid and handed it to her. "I always carry it around I made it myself you know a trail and error thing"

Elizabeth was worried for a second and his explanation surprised her. She curiously looked at the white liquid in the vial he handed to her, studying it for a moment. "Wow, that's amazing. I've never heard of that before. That'll solve everything with the sun issue. I bet you had to go through a lot of pain to discover that...'". She said softly then gently placed her hand over his with a sweet smile.

"it does not really solve everything Elizabeth only help for a short while " he said "trust me it hurts when it wears off and your still In the sun, not enough to kill you but enough to give you a bad sunburn" he said to her. He sighed and mumbled to himself "I just wish I had it in time for her" he said to himself
