PLEASE read the rules & guidelines/etiquette of the BMA section. They serve as a great guide to let you know proper etiquette within the section. Deviating from this manner of decorum will result in a staff member politely approaching you via PM and/or a member possibly reporting you.
If any member participating in a BMA debate/discussion notices a problem, staff asks that you REPORT the problem, NOT publicly point fingers or cause an issue within the threads that get posted (whether or not you are the thread OP). This helps to avoid both confusion and confrontation.
Final word of staff is indeed the final word. Please accept these decisions and be adult enough to 'walk away' if it comes to that. Staff tries its best to be fair and impartial, listening to all sides and monitoring things closely. So please do state your case if you feel a need (that is, if approached, etc), just do so with tact and politeness and be ready to not always like the final outcome when all is said and done. However, staff does try its best to show courtesy when having to intervene on any topic and/or situation.
If there are any questions on the sort of topics to be posted within BMA, please inquire from staff. We are more than happy to assist and let you know if a topic makes sense for the BMA section (as opposed to Journals or General Discussion). We ask that you keep baseless rants and opinion threads to your journals and stick to topics that provoke deep thought and intelligent discussion. Debate is encouraged so long as it doesn't get into mudslinging and flaming. Providing articles and other such things to support your view or topic is also encouraged.
Thank you.
