An Introduction
Please send me a PM if you are interested in an RP. I ask that you do not post in this thread. I’ll bump it when I have updates, plots added or new cravings, or when I have a lack of active RPs.So, I’ve been stalking for a bit and getting different ideas for how to lay this out and I think I’ve got it down so it is easier for potential RP partners to deal with. First off, a bit about me so you’ll know who you’re RPing with.
◊ I’m new to BMR, but I’ve been role playing since I was about thirteen.
◊ I’m a female.
◊ I’m bisexual.
◊ I won’t go into my age, but I’m old enough to be on here and younger than thirty.
◊ I am happily married so don’t go getting any ideas or get creepy. Like I saw somewhere else, my husband chooses to watch porn; I prefer to write down things.
◊ I do have a pretty busy life, so it may take me a couple of days to post.
Things happen, I will try my very best to let you know if I’m going to be away for awhile. I’d like if you were able to do the same.
◊ I don’t really have a preference toward the gender of the person behind the screen or the gender of character you're playing.
◊ I prefer role playing in threads, but I will do PMs if that is what my partner is more comfortable with. I do not do e-mail RPs or IMs. I’ve tried it and things quickly seem to fall apart.
◊ I consider myself an advanced writer and role player, depending on your definition of advanced.
◊ I generally only play females; occasionally I can be talked into playing a male role but just to let you know… I’m pretty bad at it.
◊ My characters tend to be the submissive type; I can switch but I’m also pretty bad at extremely dominant roles.
◊ I’m okay with playing multiple characters so long as it isn’t a crazy amount of them, or a circumstance where several characters will be together at one time. I’ll probably end up picking a favorite and focusing a little more on that character.
◊ I tend to use images (anime, CG, realistic, drawings, etc.) for pictures because I can find specific traits I’m looking for easier. Even then, I still go into worded descriptions. I do have some photos stashed away for character use if you’re absolutely against images.
◊ I do not do celebrities or real people. I find those tend to go sour very quickly because it seems like it is a one sided story of me being a small part in someone else's fantasy.
◊ Role playing is a two way street. I’m okay with you having a certain type character in mind with certain details, even a character sheet already made up, but please give me freedom to play them as I like. Again, I’ll end up feeling like I’m playing a small part in someone’s fantasy.
◊ I am a pretty detail focused person. This does not mean flowery posts that don’t have anything to do with the RP.
◊ I generally write at least two paragraphs but I can only work with what you give me.
◊ I can do smut just fine, but I’d like for there to be at least some plot there. I’ll quickly get bored.
◊ I prefer original threads and characters, but I do have some fandoms I like to play. That being said, I also like to play original characters in a loosely fan-based world setting. I will play certain canon characters that I feel very comfortable in being able to play them properly. I am fine with partners playing canon characters if they’d like to.
