Natasia was reading one of her various magic books just catching up on some light reading least it was light reading for her, she'd been smart enough to put a protection spell around her house but certain species could get through it. Her living room was lit rather dimly by candles because she hated extra bright light, she was listening to some very old classical music although she looked young in appearance she was actually over a few hundred years old. Since she was a witch she'd managed to use magic to conceal her age, she looked average for a young woman her age. The brunette ran her fingers through her hair, folded down the page in her book as she looked around the house.

She thought she was hearing things because she could hear howling outside, she lived in a secluded area. For a witch she liked her privacy, she basically literally lived in an old Victorian house located in the middle of no where for that very purpose. She knew there were coyotes, other wild animals in the woods but she'd never actually ventured outside her house. Turning on the few lights she did have in the house she looked out the window, backed up toward her book shelf which lead to a secrete passage.

Howls. A lot of howls were sounding through the forest where Natasia was living. The reason for this was quite simple. A pack of werewolves was wandering around in the dark forest. Unlike other werewolves, they weren't the kind that changed at full moon but had altered it. Now they could change their form as much as they want during the night. They weren't forced to change their forms though, they just had the choice to do but they could easily run around in their furry form as much and as long as they wanted. Most of the pack had a life outside of being a werewolf but there were a few that had left their human life to be and ran around as a wolf most of the time.

During a run, they had heard about a witch living in the forest and as they were quited hungry, they thought it would be a nice snack. But first, before they were going to eat her, they had to see how she looked as they had standards on what was good to eat from and what wasn't. As an example, they wouldn't kill a young girl or a very beautiful girl that had never done something wrong. They preferred to execute people that had done something which wasn't good, like a murderer as they were still having a human mind, most of the time. Sometimes they were acting very instinctive.

Natasia chewed on her lower lip as she leaned against the book shelf her heart raced as she reached for the button that would open it so she could escape to the cellar/basement of the house, she managed to escape. She was glad the house had a protection spell around it because it meant no one could get in or out of the place, she had no intentions of leaving the house. The witch had lived there since she was a child, even though she was older then she looked in witch years she had used magic to hide her true appearance. She managed to get deeper into the underground part of the house as she find the perfect hiding place, she hoped the werewolves didn't sniff her out because even if they did they couldn't enter the house unless the protection spell was lifted so she was safe for now.

The wolves were gathering around the house of the witch. There was something about the house, they felt it as when they came to close, it was like a pulse went through their body. A few braver wolves kept running against the shield that was protecting the house, being nearly unable to walk thanks to the pulses that they had received. A black wolf with a scar over his eye was clearly the leader of the pack as he sat down in front of the door, howling loud. A lighter wolf, nearly colored white walked from the one side of the house towards the other side before sitting down next to the leader, joining him in the howling. Two other wolves, a dark brown and a dark grey, did the exact same thing as the nearly lightest of the pack had done. Those four were considered as the Council of the pack, the ones that decided everything.

((OOC: Sorry that it took so long))

Natasia had no intentions of lifting the spell, she could hear them howling outside. Her goosebumps had goosebumps, she often wished she wasn't alone in the old house. It'd just been her for quite awhile now, she was terrified. Her heart raced, she tried to keep herself from giving into paranoia as she made sure all the entrances were protected but the shield protected mostly the outside of the house that didn't mean it protected the inside of the house. She was all alone in the old house with werewolves howling outside, they were making her skin crawl she had no idea how to get rid of them but she knew that by morning they would all be in human form more then likely. Finally she got to the very center of the underground part of the house, locked herself in the bunker then sat down on the bed hugging her knees to her chest as she waited for morning.

The morning was nearing and all the wolves, except the four that were sitting in front of the house, left already. But the plans of these were clear, they had to know who was inside of the house and weren't planning on leaving until they knew who she was, what she was and why she lived her. Some of the ones that had left, were already turned into their human forms right before the moon left but these stayed wolves. They stopped howling and looked at each other, starting to run around the house, making sure that they kept the same distance between each other so that escaping from the house was impossible.

Natasia knew morning was nearing, she refused to put down the shield. She chewed on her lower lip, walked toward the cellar doors. Pushing them open she walked up the stairs, looked around. " I know your out here. Show yourselves! " She said as she ran her fingers through her hair, let out a sigh knowing she was going to regret saying all that later on. The brunette was tired of being afraid, she was sure whoever was out there just wanted to know who she was etc. She was actually the great great great granddaughter of one of the many owners, the daughter of the previous owner who had long since passed.
