RE: {Cravings} AVATAR (James Cameron film) roleplays!!!


Concept:
- The roleplay would take place in a fantasy setting and on a world/universe where there are a ton of different humanoid and non-humanoid species (orcs, elves, humans, etc...).
- This would also be a world where magic exists.
- This is a world full of different kingdoms, cultures, hierarchies, etc...
- I'm also going to keep it open to medieval AND modern/ futuristic weapons - ie. guns AND swords.
- Relating to that, I'm going to keep it open to the possibility of people from the future and/or people from outer space/ aliens to be involved in this world, as well.

Name: Idris
Height: 5 foot 6
Species: Lazarin – Lazarin are similar to humans, though their distinctive physical qualities are white hair and blue eyes. Their lifespans are longer than humans and their skin is very strong – thus making them wrinkle less so they appear to age very slowly (remain youthful).
Bio: Idris is the princess' protector, and bodyguard. She is a reputable warrior who rose the Lazarinian ranks despite being a woman. Although appearing to have come from little wealth and to have been a nobody before her royal dedication, this is a false persona. Idris is actually the the King and Queen's true daughter, who was raised as a peasant in the castle is order to fool the public into believing she was just the castle's servant's child. Because her birth came with many death threats, in order to protect her, the King and Queen had her trained to be the best warrior while she pretended to be a peasant's daughter. Meanwhile, the true servant's daughter, a girl named Kydra, was falsely portrayed as the “Princess”. The two know of their true identities, and while growing up together, the two have become best friends.

Name: Alzeena
Height: 6 foot 1
Species: Half Orc, Half Lazarin (see above for Lazarin description)
Bio: Alzeena is a child born out of rape. Her mother was a Lazarinian and her father an Orc. Upon giving birth, her mother rejected Alzeena and told her husband to rid the child. He took Alzeena to the black market, where he sold her to the hands of a slaves dealer. She grew up as a slave – moving through the hands of multiple owners until she entered adulthood and grew into a quite beautiful young woman. She was spotted at a slave market sale by a notorious and powerful Orc ruler named Wargork, who purchased her as a servant and later concubine. Though, he was unkind, and fed off of her low self-esteem – convincing her she was too monstrous for Lazarins and too ugly for Orcs. Her facial scars serve as evidence of his abuse.

Name: Ashling
Height: 4 foot 10
Species: Half Gnome, Half Elf - Gnomes are miniature version of humans; they are completely proportional and average between 2 and a half and 3 and a half feet tall. There are many kinds of elves - most are about the same height as humans, though the Lux Elves are generally taller.
Bio: Ashling is the prophecy child - the “chosen one” - who had her eyes clawed by an mythical shadow creature in the night. The creature's claws were poisonous, which caused Ashling to lose her sight after a raging infection. During the process of becoming blind, Ashling gained clairvoyant abilities, enabling her to see into people's memories through the touch of her hand, as well as foresee the future. She has an impeccable instinct, and although she is blind, she is not disabled. Her reputation as a gifted seer has caused her joy and misery – as many people, especially those who are wealthy, come to her to have their futures foreseen.

Name: Deyanira
Height: 5 foot 6 and a half (only half an inch shorter than the Queen)
Species: Human – of the Kingdom of Lapis (one of the wealthiest Human kingdoms)
Bio: The Queen has currently lost her King to illness, and now has taken over all of his responsibilities, including disputes and negotiations with other species, kingdoms, and groups of people. Because of this, she is often away from the castle – off travelling to meetings to fulfil her royal duty. During the Queen's time away, her best friend and castle servant – Deyanira – takes over the Queen's royal presence as a professional impersonator. This false portrayal was arranged to protect the Queen, so that enemies would not know when she is travelling or away from the castle. Despite the persona that Deyanira is the Queen's right hand servant, she is in reality, the Queen's half-sister (the King's illegitimate daughter).

Name: Kloris
Height: 5 foot 9
Species: Lux Elf – of the Elixor Kingdom. Luxs' are a race of elves with several distinctive physical characteristics, including the classic pointed ears. They differ from other races, as the Luxs' have very fair skin, typically long, light-coloured hair (light browns, blondes, and reds), and usually either blue or green eyes. They are a quite tall species – averaging at a height of 5'8” for women, and 6'4” for men. Luxs' also live longer, age slowly, and have large families.
Bio: Kloris is one of the 9 daughters in her family of 23. She is one of the middle children and the 5th eldest of her sisters. Although most of her sisters are married, Kloris has avoided marriage for most of her youth – mostly convincing her father that the men he presented to her were unfit to be her husband. After four rejected proposals, Kloris' father finally figured out it was not the men who were the problem, it was his daughter. Presenting a fifth husband suitor, he gives her no choice but to woman-up and to accept it as the marriage would act as an alliance between two peoples. On the wedding, Kloris decides to runaway and quit the life of a royal in exchange for independence, and a shot at adventure.

Name: Xamia
Height: 5 foot 7
Species: Zinga - the Zinga are a people consisting of various groups/clan of travelers who are well known for practicing dark magic. Although they seem to be few in population, the Zingas are well known around the world for striking magic deals and spells in exchange for jewels and gold. They have a bad reputation for being deceiving and sneaky to get what they want.
Bio: Xamia is a gifted mage who is an infamous thief known as "Arachnid" to the general public. Although her true identity is not known, Arachnid (AKA Xamia) has several bounties on her head from many kingdoms and jurisdictions for stealing from the wealthiest of people - including royal families of all sorts. Despite her kind whom travel in groups, Xamia is independent and roams the world alone.

Name: Nyx
Height: 5 foot 3
Species: Lamia (Demon) – Demon is a general term to describe a series of evil and dark races that have a number of unique traits and abilities. Most are carnivores, and have very a lessened ability for feel compassion. They are very greedy in nature, and hard to control. The Lamia race of demons are very distinct in that they feed on live prey; requiring raw meat and blood to survive. They are also capable of flight, as they bat-like wings that come in varying sizes. Lamias also resemble humans in physique and size, as their origins come from mixing demon species with humans. Because of this, Lamia's have a stronger conscious than some other demon breeds, though they are still cold, and can be just as cruel as their demon counterparts.
Bio: Nyx grew up in a predominantly demonic community where she (and her community) were ruled by the Demon Lord named Akraz. As Nyx grew older, Akraz's son started to pursue her, and was persistent on making her his demon bride. Though, Nyx was not attracted to Akraz, as he was ugly and selfish, and he believed he could take what he wanted. She also had no desire of marrying, though her family shamed her for rejecting such an honorable offer. Upon rejecting his hand, Akraz and his son threw her and her family in a dungeon until Nyx gave in and agreed to marry. Though, before the wedding, Akraz's son tried to rape Nyx, so she killed him and ate his penis – to prove to the world that she was not an object that could be taken. She smeared the walls with his blood, before fleeing the scene. Since then, she has been on the run and has kept up float by seducing and stealing from her victims.

1) My character would be a female human who is part of the Avatar program and has her own Avatar body. She would meet your character, a Native male Na'vi and they would grow close. This could be like a gender-role reversed version of the film, or something entirely different.

2) My character would be a female Na'vi who, as a wanderer and curious character, would venture onto the human/Avatar project base where she meets your character, a human male with an Avatar body. He would recognize her immediately from her clothes and the fact that she has four fingers rather than five, like the Avatars have.

3) My character would be a female Na'vi who, as a wanderer and curious character, would roam deep into the forest where she comes across a human campsite. This becomes a habit, and she gains a reputation for being a camp raider - although the humans don't know it's a Na'vi that is stealing their equipment and their stuff. Your character would be either another native Na'vi or a soldier with an Avatar.

4) My character would be a female Na'vi who saves another Na'vi or an Avatar from being killed by an animal.

5) My character would be a female Na'vi who saves your Na'vi or Avatar from human capture (for whatever reason).

6 a) My character would be a female human who finds/saves/rescues a native Na'vi from an animal attack.

6 b) Extension to the above idea, your native Na'vi character would be injured, and she would bring him back to the human base to medically care for him.

7) While flying in a helicopter over the mountains, a chopper is chased by a Leonopteryx Rex. Despite efforts to rid the creature, the helicopter team finds themselves struggling to battle the determined beast. My character, a female Na'vi, would see the distress, and fly to the rescue with her Banshee. She would have previously stolen human technological equipment - one of which included a com device ear-piece that would enable her to call and communicate with the pilot. She would then instruct them on what to do (and ultimately take down the Leonopteryx).

Pandora is a planet nearly as big as Earth, with just as much diversity in vegetation, and in species. Like Humans, the Na'vi have a wide range of clans, societies, cultures, and races. One particular race, the Ku'ra, have associated themselves as a sub-species for over a millennium. They greatly resemble the Na'vi, but there are several distinct differences. The color of their skin varies between different shades of green, their eye colors between silver and blue, and their hair between navy blue and black. Other than their colors, the Ku'ra also average at about 8 feet tall; often coming up to 2 feet shorter than the typical Na'vi. The Ku'ra also have larger foreheads, and rounder skulls which gives them a bigger oval-shaped head in proportion to their bodies. Like the Na'vi, the Ku'ra are tree-dwellers but inhabit the Northern forest regions where trees are taller and have a much higher abundance of branches. Due to this, the Ku'ra have long adapted their fingers - which are longer - and are slightly disproportionate to their smaller body size. To meet the needs of their harsher environment, their larger hands and feet enable them to easily climb much faster and swifter than the Na'vi.

Differences are not only apparent physically, but also culturally and emotionally. The Ku'ra are a generally calmer species when in a good mood, but have a vicious temper when angered. Once they have been angered, their moods change from peaceful to volatile within seconds - though it takes an extensive and serious matter for them to cross that line. Because of this, the Ku'ra and the Na'vi generally do not get along - and their kind have been separated for hundreds of years. Although the Na'vi population is millions larger than the Ku'ra, over the past 2000 years, the two have had more wars against each other than the Na'vi have had between their own kind. Despite the fact that the Na'vi and the Ku'ra live thousands of miles apart, argument over territory ownership has persisted since the beginning of time. Over 200 years ago, a dispute over the Nitkari River caused a major war that resulted in the combined death of millions Na'vi and Ku'ra. The war severed the two kinds forever, and both races permanently separated and outlawed each other from their respective territories. Likewise, marriage between the two kinds became frowned upon and mixing of the two races nearly never occurred. As well as this, the Ku'ra live a much more lavish lifestyle, whereas the Na'vi are very simplistic. The Ku'ra culture tends to be more materialistic and architecturally more complex. Rather than sleeping in hammocks in trees, the Ku'ra live in house structures.


Personality and Bio:
Z'tari is extremely outgoing, and does not shy away from a good argument. She will always give her opinion, regardless of whether it's wanted or not. She is very curious and is numerously found "missing" - though locals have come to grow accustomed to her on and off disappearance. Likewise, she dreams of adventure and lives to explore her area and others. Despite constantly being pestered to stay close, or to take someone with her to protect her, Z'tari is too stubborn and independent, and would rather sneak away to venture alone, than drag someone along with her. She's a good fighter, but a lousy warrior simply because she is incapable of following orders - and does as she pleases.

Despite being a Princess, and one of the many children of the Olo'eyktan (clan leader), Z'tari rarely partakes in any ritual ceremonies or clan meetings. Although her siblings are active parts of their community and are imbedded in their royalty, Z'tari is very disconnected, and is continuously shaming her father. Unlike most young Ku'ras her age, Z'tari is not married and has no children. She has been promised several times to different prestigious Ku'ra men, but refused each one of them and, in defiance, ran away and/or didn't show up to any of her weddings despite active efforts to get her to marry. Because of all of the incidents, she been deemed dishonorable to her father, and has become local loner. Although mostly rejected for her disruptive behavior, her mother finds amusement in her daughter's liberty and the two have a strong relationship. Z'tari still lives in their household despite limited communication with her father and siblings.


Partner Character Details:
This roleplay is open to be responded by one of three character options:

- You can either play a native Na'vi
- OR an Avatar (a genetically engineered Na'vi body meant to host a human mind)
- ANOTHER alien species (made up or from another series - ei. Star Wars)

- I discluded the Ku'ra species because I would prefer Z'tari be paired with someone culturally different than herself.
- I also discluded humans (in human form) because it would mean Z'tari is over 2 feet taller than your character, and I prefer my partner's characters to be the same height or taller (just how I like it). ALTHOUGH - their first encounter could be when your character is not in his avatar. Though, most of their interactions will be in avatar form.

Roleplay/Plot Adaptation Ideas:

Here are some different possible roleplay ideas:

1) Humans are on Pandora to retrieve unobtanium and have engineered Avatars to get closer to the Na'vi species. Little do they know that Pandora is home to a Na'vi sub-species known as the Ku'ra. Your character would meet Z'tari either in the forest, or in air.

2) Z'tari sets off beyond Ku'ra territory in hopes of exploring more of the said new species (humans) who are roaming their lands. She stumbles across an empty camp site (soldiers are out and about) and steals some technological equipment (which she's never seen before) out of curiosity. Finding it interesting, she returns numerous times to take more stuff. A human/ avatar would catch her raiding the site.

3) Z'tari, who has already stolen a lot of human technology and equipment from raiding camp sites while soldiers are gone, decides to explore more than just camp sites. She decides to finally take a trip to the human military base to essentially ease her curiousity. I'm thinking her mischievous talents would enable her to break into the facility (or part of it) without being initially seen. Though, of course, her 8 foot height would pose some problems and she would eventually be discovered/ attacked/ captured.

4) Z'tari ventures off, like she usually does, and comes across a Na'vi who has trespassed onto Ku'ra territory. OR VICE VERSA - Z'tari could trespass onto Na'vi territory. The two would meet either in a forest or in the air/ in flight.

5) Humans capture your male Na'vi or Avatar and my character comes out (of nowhere) and frees him. OR VICE VERSA - My character has been captured by humans and your character comes to free her. This can also be changed to being attacked by an animal.

6) While flying in a helicopter over the mountains, the chopper gets chased by a Leonopteryx Rex. Despite efforts to rid the creature, the helicopter team finds themselves struggling to battle the determined beast. Z'tari would see the distress, and fly to the rescue with her Banchiva. RE: {Cravings} AVATAR / Na'vi based roleplay IDEAS!!!


1) An International aerial circus (athletic performing arts) group tours Europe. Although some members of the group are muggles, the group has become popular in the magic realm for their extravagant performances. They are hired to perform at Hogwarts to which they have also agreed/payed to rent parts of Hogwarts to train and practice for their next fleet of tours. My character would be an American muggle who is a trapeze athlete and gymnast. She would captivate your character (preferably a pureblood who dislikes muggles/mudbloods - can be a series character like Draco, Neville, an own character, or even a professor) who is constantly passing by the gym (which my character would have equipment set up to practice - ie. trapezes, trampolines, etc...) and can't help but find himself infatuated by her aerial talents.

2 a) My character would be a muggle who was at Hogwarts either as a student or as someone else (I can also merge idea #1 above so that my character is the gymnast) who is asked out to the Yule Ball by your character (preferably a pureblood like Draco, another series character or an OC) either to ridicule her or out of desperation (because you can only attend the ball with a partner to dance with). Either before the ball or during the ball, the two would start to fall for each other.

2 b) Luna Lovegood would be my character, and she gets asked out to the Yule Ball by your character (Draco, Neville, another character or OC) to ridicule her and/or out of desperation since you can't attend without a partner. Or, if you play a character like Neville, asking her Luna out of goodwill.

3) Your character (Draco or another character/ OC) gets transferred from Hogwarts to the American Wizarding Academy in the United States where your character would meet my American character, who is actually a goth-punk outcast.

4) During the Quidditch World Cup, my character competes as part of the Salem Witches' Institute (magic school in the United States). She would meet your character (Draco, or another character/ OC) at a Quidditch game.

5) My character transfers in from the Salen Witches' Institute (in the US) to Hogwarts school of magic where she is outcasted. There she would meet your character (Draco, or another character/ OC, or even a teacher).

6) Hogwarts would have a 5 or 10 years graduation anniversary reunion. There your character (Draco, Neville, or another character/ OC) would meet my character, an American witch who is now a teacher at Hogwarts and who helped to host the reunion event.

7) Luna Lovegood and Neville meet 5 years after graduation. And/or they meet at the Hogwarts 5 year reunion.

8) While Hogwarts students are not at Hogwarts, where are they? For some students, they are in the Muggle world, attending regular non-magic school. I would play a character (Muggle) who meets your character (a wizard pretending to be a muggle).

9) I've ALSO been craving Harry Potter pairings set in the Muggle/non-magic world. The plots would be set a few years in the future where characters are in their early to mid 20s, where Hogwarts is seemingly in the past.

- I list Draco a lot simply because he is my favorite male character (I tend to like villains) and not because he is a requirement.
- I also adore Neville, but his grown/actor good looking self over his Harry Potter series appearance.
- I absolutely hate Daniel Radcliffe. So don't bother using him.

Setting: Present-day England
Year: Years after Hogwarts graduation
Previous House: Ravenclaw

Plot/ Story:
After graduation, Luna spends some time within the wizarding society before deciding to leave after the death of her father. To honor her fathers experiences in the world without magic, Luna ventures to the Muggle society and settles in downtown England. Years after Hogwarts, Luna receives a blast from her past when she gets struck by a vehicle - the driver: Draco Malfoy!

Draco would be in England for whatever reason - he could be there on muggle business, though judging by his hate for mudbloods, he would probably be in England for magic-related reasons. I'm thinking he would be posing as a muggle in order to get business done.

Another idea is that he's actually there searching for something - or searching for information about something. It could be related to Luna, as well, or the death of her father. Perhaps Draco decides to use the gentle Luna to get closer to someone/information but instead starts to fall for her.

This is definitely a more romantic plot - so I'm not looking for something smutty.

Name: Ekaterina Willkins
Nickname: Eka (pronounced Eeka)
Ethinicity: Gypsy/ American
House: Originally in Slytherin, then changed to Ravenclaw
Age: 21

Plot/Story:

Ekaterina had a tough childhood, growing up as someone referred to as a "Gypsy" in the magic world. Gypsies are an ethnic group in the magic world who, like mudbloods, are disliked by many of the more 'prestigious' magic users because they are considered 'dirty' for one reason: They believe in merging the magic world with that of the Muggle world and they believe that non-magic users and magic users can co-exist. Gypsies travel to and from both realms and they are always preaching but no one really listens and/or dismisses them as nonsensical. Despite being disliked, they are magic users though they tend not to attend institutions like Hogwarts because they often live in the Muggle/non-magic realm and/or they just don't like the wizarding society. Gypsies are also undermined for their increased ability to use Wandless Magic (bear magic from their hands instead of a wand), although not all of them have this ability. Because wandless magic can be uncontrollable, dangerous, and volatile, the use of it is frowned upon.

Despite this, Ekaterina attended Hogwarts where she became the center of great ridicule. Already being an oddball herself, Ekaterina was hatted into the Slytherin house. Though, among the upmost of snobby purebloods, there was an out roar among parents who didn't want a gypsy to ruin the perfect Slytherin name. She lasted barely two week of complete humiliation before being re-hatted into Ravenclaw. Even then, being among other unique characters, she didn't fit in. She was too weird and 'unpure' for Slytherin, but she was too dark for Ravenclaw. This put her in an uncomfortable place for all of her Hogwarts years - where she faced constant banter, particularly that from the Slytherin household.

Upon graduation, it was no surprise when Ekaterina took to her ancestry roots and decide to travel to the Muggle world. There she made a life for herself, pursuing a non-magical career that was frowned upon the wizarding society: singing. Although struggling even in downtown England to become a successful singer, Ekaterina was still thankful to have rid herself of wizards, witches, and magic altogether. That is, until she receives a blast from the past and gets struck by a car - only to find the driver is someone all too familiar.

You can play a character of choice. This plot was initially designed to be a Draco Malfoy pairing but it's open to OCs and other Harry Potter characters of your choosing (with the exception of Harry Potter because I hate Daniel Radcliffe).

Concept: In Neverland, there is no aging, and there is barely a concept of time. All those in it have been frozen to their current form. Since Peter Pan started ruling Neverland (as a dictator and powerful magic user), things have never been the same. He controls his group of orphan males named the Lost Boys by manipulating them with power, mind games, magic, and psychology. One of the ways he controls them is through his pan flute, which is enchanted. All those who hear the infatuating music from the pan flute feel lost at heart. By keeping the Lost Boys feeling empty, he keeps them in control.

Idea 1) But, for one Lost Boy, Felix - who happens to be the oldest of all the boys (19 years old) and Peter Pan's right-hand man - he longs for something more than following orders and terrorizing everyone he comes in contact with. For a mission to retrieve magical herbs and medication from territory belonging to the Natives. Although Felix is the best physical fighter for his tall and larger appearance, while travelling through the woods, he is taken by surprise and brought to the ground by not a man, but a teen native girl, close to his own age. This native? Pocahontas.

Pocahontas, being the curious one she is, could most likely attack him but then realize who he is (a right hand man to the notorious Peter Pan) and take off. Felix could then chase her, most likely because he is a) intrigued, b) infatuated by her beauty and/or c) to catch her and bring her to Pan.

Idea 2) Peter Pan is trying to get his hands on magical herbs and medicine that the Natives have been rumored to be hiding on their land and among their tribes. In attempt to try and get more information on their whereabouts, Peter Pan has the native Princess, Pocahontas, kidnapped and brought to him. Despite these efforts, Pocahontas refuses to speak and regardless of the pain and threats Peter puts her through, doesn't even make a sound. Felix, already infatuated by Pocahontas' strength and beauty, becomes more and more uncomfortable with the fact that Peter Pan is abusing her. She is kept a prisoner, and one night, Peter Pan tries to rape her. Felix would stop him before he went further than tearing her clothes off.

Either Felix would stop Peter and pretend he had a good reason (like telling Peter Pan that she's not ready for that, and that if he were to rape her that it would burn the bridges to the magical herbs), OR he would attack Peter, and he and Pocahontas would barely escape with their lives (and ultimately disappear into the forest where they will be hunted by The Lost Boys).

Extra details:
- The only reason they'd be able to communicate/ speak together/ understand each other is because Peter Pan would have cast a magic spell on Felix to enable him to understand the Native tongue, as well as allow any Native to understand his English.
- FELIX'S IMAGE can be changed. You can use a different actor/ image to portray him. I personally prefer Jamie Campbell Bower as a Lost Boy/ Felix. You are also free to use any other person for this role!!!
