bio: Lance Jonathan Drake was born and raised in modest beginnings, yet soon it became clear that he was destined for greatness, showing both skill in buildings things with both words and sketches. At the start of his career he was included in some major and prestigious projects, as well as finishing two rather large novels, one being an award winning one. He married out of love to a beautiful woman and was blessed early on with the gift of new life. He proved to be an attentive father and loving husband, on top of being filthy rich and making a name for himself. He designed Drake falls as a present for his wife, a project that he would give her to eternalise his love for her.
Sadly this fairy tale love wasn’t meant to last.

With his offspring still too young to remember, their family was plunged into darkness when his wife was taken from him; a robbery in their home that changed everything, tearing a page from their book that was crucial to the fairy tale magic that his family was so blessed with. In this darkest hour he finished the final pieces on his house, including some additions, and moved his family there, shutting himself out from the rest of the world. He would shelter his remaining family from the elements that were haunting this world. He would teach them what they needed to know, keeping any impurities and dangers away from them, nurture them into greatness as they grew up in this utopia he had created for them. Little did he know that his once pure, noble and somewhat misguided ideas would send him on a path to corruption, casting a large shadow over his family that would tempt them to the sweetest taboo known to mankind.

As a father he is strict, yet fair, patient and attentive. He takes great care in the education of his children, nurturing them to their fullest potential. He values ambition combined with a dose of seclusion to the rest of society. His children are all home schooled, getting their lessons directly from him. They received an above normal education and have all gotten grades well above average. The Cooking is shared between the family, yet Lance has demonstrated from their earliest years that he is an excellent Italian, German, French and Dutch chef, although he occasionally uses a bit too much pesto.
Shame, embarrassment and other feelings are rarely felt within Drake Falls, something that Lance has strived to keep out from an early age. Be it taking baths with his children or teaching them how to overcome obstacles, he made sure they could always ask and discuss subjects before hiding from them. The closeness between his children or the lack of embarrassment when exposed to a exposed naked frame is something that society finds wrong, yet has strong roots in Drake Falls.

As a man Lance is an easy man to get along with. In food, music and company he has no problem with mingling or experiencing new things. Only his body, family and work are things that he only wants perfection in. He has created a utopia for his family, a business that is constantly expanding and makes sure to keep his body in decent shape. The largest flaw about Lance is that he lacks any empathy towards the outside world, keeping himself and his family mostly secluded from the rest of society. One thing that never separates Lance is an earring he has in his left ear, containing a few locks of hair from his departed wife, Sara. It is also the only thing in the house, besides his work pc, that his children cannot touch without permission.

Elys was adopted in an early age by the prominent figure Lance Jonathan Drake, hence her name. Most people argued that it was mainly because of her looks that Jonathan Drake took an interest in her. However, it was soon proved that the girl was not without her brain. She was home-schooled by her father himself until she was old enough to attend high school. Sent to the best high school and receiving the best education money can buy, Elys was always on top of her classes. It was not hard for her to finally be accepted into a prestigious university. She chose architecture as her major to follow in her father's footsteps. However, she was required to study overseas because of this. Her father had rented her a nice apartment for her to live in. Even though it could be lonely for her sometimes, she cherished her solitude and felt blessed as her life had always been fulfilling.

Years have passed since the last time she had gathered with her family. It was then when she received an urgent call from her father that asked her to come back home. Not wanting to deny his request, she took a monthly break and figured that it would be nice to finally have a reunion with her family.

Roxy was born just a few before her mother’s death, not really remembering much of her. Since then she has always been living in the shadow of her elder sister, yet also of her father. She is the first born biological daughter and thus; the true heir to the family name. Being the middle daughter she had more expectations to live up to, having to be both a role model to her younger sister and constantly a few steps behind her elder.

She was tutored at home by her father and sister when she was older. Her studies were numerous, from multiple languages, economics and geography. She was raised within the mansion of Drake Falls, never really stepping outside unless it was for a monthly visit to town with her father and siblings. Her upbringing was one of sheltered love, only teaching her what she needed to learn, never anything corrupt.

She has the same copper eyes as her mother had, something her father frequently tells her, both with joy and sorrow in his voice. Roxy, the little copper princess’ was the first precious ‘gift’ his wife, Sara, had given Lance.
