Hi,

I'm Wolf_and_Bird. Either Wolf or Bird works fine.

I am looking for a lit to lit advanced partner to play a plot based rp (though smut is certainly welcome).

I Am Currently Craving:The urban fantasy Plot, or the werewolf plot

Things that will make me happy:

-Urban fantasy or just plain urban settings are my favorite but given a good plot I'll venture into new worlds.

-I'm particularly interested in power imbalances played interestingly. Trying to navigate an equal relationship in an inherently imbalanced situation is fun.

-I usually want to play the power negative role. If we get multiple side characters/pairings going, though, I may be willing to play a dominant character.

-I like made family. I like people getting through hell together. I like close friendships. This doesn't mean everyone has to get along perfectly, just that they try to get along when they need to.

-As stated I'll play m/m or f/m.

RE: Power and Plot (mxm or mxf search) Plots inside

Things I've got Kicking Around in my Head:

* = it's an idea but needs some good input from you to get me interested.
** = I'd happily play this!
*** = Yes! Please! Let's play this!

Werewolves: ***
While I have a few plot ideas I mostly just want to use some specific lore I have.

- Dominant (basically human but able to shift into wolves given concentration, able to control submissives via direct orders and strength of will) and submissive (much more in touch with their inner wolf and able to shift at will) werewolves. I want to play a submissive.
- Packs are often large (with compounds most members live in) and are controlled by an alpha who in turn answer to a sort of alpha of alphas (called a Roakin) for large areas (like, say, North America) who establishes laws and has enforcers to enforce them.
-Pack law and society is rather Dominance biased. It's believed the whole Dominants able to control submissives thing is because submissives will sometimes have a "feral break", where they shift and act as a wolf when in distress. This has come to be seen as a sign submissives are less emotionally stable and mentally strong and need to be protected and cared for. Things like arranged matings, having to have a dominant act on their behalf in legal matters, and being confined to the pack compound unless escorted are common things faced by submissives. In order to "protect" them, of course.

I will not play a dominant as my main character. Seriously, stop asking. Playing cute and acting like you didn't see this will not make me want to play a dominant for you. It will make me think you're an idiot.

I have a few main ideas, though if you have one share!

Further Details
1) A pack has, for whatever reason, ended up moving into a city generations ago. Now they've made their homes in the upper levels of a skyscraper. While the children and dominants are relatively intergrated into the city life the submissives are (to varying extents depending on rank and wealth) kept isolated in the tower and insulated from the outside world. I am particularly interested in playing a submissive for an upper ranking werewolf.

2) Caught somewhere between Dominants and Submissives are Beta Wolves. Beta wolves are basically submissive wolves who are only submissive to their partner, acting as a dominant to the rest of the world and pack. They are often selected to be mates of alphas or dominants in similarly powerful positions as they make a very good right hand man. Of course some Dominants view betas as barely better than submissives, and submission doesn't always come easy to betas when they're used to being Dominant.

3) Alternatively a "Beta" is the submissive wolf born into every pack roughly once a generation that has X qualities (we can decide where on the scale of Just a designation to awesome power X quality falls). These Betas either manifest at the end of puberty or whenever the previous beta dies. Betas are, by definition, the mate of the pack's alpha. If another Dominant wins the alpha seat the Beta becomes that Dominant's mate. Kidnapping and claiming a Beta is a frowned-upon but still viable way of taking over a pack so Beta's are often somewhat heavily guarded.

- Possible add-on: In a large pack with a living beta and a beta in waiting sometimes a group of younger werewolves and the beta in waiting will leave to create a pack of their own.

4) It's a dangerous world out there, and it's still pretty dangerous within the walls of a pack's compound. For this reason most Packs have something called a "Gray Quarter", a secluded wing or building within the compound where submissives without a mate, or the submissives of Dominants who want to keep their submissives locked safely away, may live in peace and safety. Sometimes a haven, sometimes a harem, and often called The Kennel by the submissives themselves it's one place few Dominants ever set foot in. Of course the mates of the few Dominants who work there may never get to leave it.

Survival horror: ***
Shepherd's Bridge was a bustling little city still in touch with it's little town roots. Those little town roots unfortunately involved a pact among the founding members to doom the town to hell in a hundred years in exchange for wealth and power (and a safe escape when hell broke loose). The hundred years just ran out and the cult made their sacrifice to bring about hell on earth.

Fortunately for everyone not involved in the cult something in the ritual went wrong. The gate to hell didn't fully open and only a few blocks actually fell into hell. Although hell is spreading those that have managed to survive the outbreak of hell on earth are banding together to find out what happened, what went wrong, and how to stop it.

The intended human sacrifice who escaped before the ritual might be the key, if they can find him.

Song of the Night (Urban Fantasy/Band Plot) **
Song of the Night is just your average small, struggling, band on tour seeking to make the dream reality by traveling the country from show to show and fighting some demons along the way.

Okay, they've got some unique bits too, but at least the hysteric conservative parents who think their singer's made a pact with the devil aren't that far off the mark for once.

Urban Fantasy/Supernatural Hunting: ***
Monsters, demons, and just about everything else that gave you nightmares as a kid is real. Thankfully so are humans with superhuman strength, agility, and endurance who seem born to do battle for the side of angels and humanity. To aid these chosen few, and preserve the masquerade, an order of humans (some, though not all, of which study magic) arose to find, teach, guide, and protect these Hunters. The Guardians are wise and supportive to the needs of their Hunters. In return Hunters pursue their foes with a sense of duty and loyalty to their guardians.

Or that's what they'd put down on the recruitment posters if recruitment was a thing for the Order. The reality is most Hunters are still teenagers when their abilities manifest and their families are strong armed into sending them to the Order's Training Facility. After two years of spartan like training they're assigned a Guardian and sent back into the world to fight. Most remain isolated from the world, with no time to heal from their injuries, serving a greater good that has no interest in their well being, for the rest of their (most often) short life.

There are exceptions though. Some Guardians and Hunters do form close bonds. Sometimes even more.

(I would like to play a Hunter in this. An older (anywhere from early thirties to late fourties) guardian might be interesting. If you want to try mixing this with the above band plot by all means, lets talk. For this plot there should be some attention paid to the power imbalance in the relationship.)
