It had been another long day cruiseing the streets waiting for somene to commit a crime to fill the day of Kyle Peterson, a ex US Marine who left the millitary to be with his preganant wife Sarah. The sun was begining to set as Kyle drove his way home, on the dashboard of his cruiser was a old polaroid photo of him and his freind John Drake. John was Sarah's late husband and Kyle's best freind. As his eyes looked over the photo his mind began to wonder back to the day of John's death. Another hot night in Iraq, Kyle and his squad had been sent to a suspected insurgent bomb factory. A booby trapt doorway ended John's life while Kyle watched his body be torn apart by the explosion. Soon his day dreaming was halted as a car behind him honked its horn, he was sat at traffic lights and the light was green. Shakeing his head he drove of and continued his journey home. As he crusied down the long suburban road he soon came to his home, pulling his police cruiser onto the driveway he sighed as he noticed a red moter cycle parked on his drive way. "Great..." He muttered sarcastically realiseing his step daughters no good boyfreind was in the house.

Stepping out the car Kyle stood around 6'3" with a strong build as to be expected of a millitary man. The 36 year old had a bald head and blue eyes and his face was clean shaven. He was dressed simply in his police uniform which consisted of a black shirt covered in police decoration, trousers and boots. A belt hung around his waist which had hand cuffs, a can of mace, a stun gun and a Glock 18 Pistol. Closing the car door behind him and locking it he walked over to the house and let himself in. "Honey Iam home!.." He shouted as he entered the house and made his way straight to the kitchen where he opened the fridge and and grabbed a beer. He leaned against kitcehn counter as he casually drank his beer, his mind still thinking of John.

"Welcome home!" came the sweet voice of Sarah Peterson from the kitchen of the house. She stood infront of the stove, clad in casual clothing with a flowery apron over top. For a 35 year old woman, she was pretty thin, save for the evident swelling of her stomach. She turned her attention away from the cooking spaghetti and meatballs on the stove, to face her husband with a gentle smile. "How was work?" she asked curiously to the man who gave her her last name. But her name hadn't always been Peterson. No, it had been Drake at one point. She had gone with that name for years and years, even after the man who owned it passed away. It had taken a lot for her to give up that last name and take on a new one, but she had done it out of love. Though she still loved her deceased husband and always would, there was a new love in her life now.

Sarah turned her attention back to the dinner she was cooking, gently stirring the spaghetti in the water and the tomato sauce in the other pot. She had cooked for four people, though she only lived with her husband and her daughter. The fourth person was of course her daughter's boyfriend. The two of them were always together, either here at her house, or over at his house, or God knows where else they would go. The smell of tomato sauce and meatballs filled the room, indicating that the food was almost ready. She reached up to open a cuppord, taking out a strainer. "Could you hold this?" she asked Kyle. The spaghetti had completly cooked and was now ready to be drained of the water.
