Good and evil, the neverending spiral of conflicting sides. Both merely made of pure opinion and one cannot exist without the other. Without evil, no one can be called good, and vice-versa. However if no one is good in nature, whom can really be called evil? Anise is a Goddess of love and understanding, Necro is a God of fire and disdain. Their soldiers, angels and demons respectively. However this battle moves towards the planet Earth, where humans will surely side with one or the other. To the dieties surprise, humanity has almost split completely between the sides. As some fight for Necro, and others for Anise...

"It's him... it's Necro. He's on the move... things on Earth have gotten really bad. It seems even humanity cannot come together and topple a foe."

"It matters little, what we are here to do is keep our domain safe... at the same time, we must do what we can for Earth. We care for them, and it's our job to watch over them. Can I count on you... my angels... to strike down our foes on Earth's surface?"

"Of course, Goddess." Replied several voice.

"Tis a shame we must draw our weapons to bring about peace... but for those people beneath our clouds, your fellow angels, and those whom you love and trust... is it worth it to shed blood this one time... for their sake?"

"Of course, Goddess."

"Good. Then my angels, prepare to descend down to Earth. Necro's minions are already brainwashing our human counter-parts. Please handle things on Earth... while I handle Necro myself."

"Of course, Goddess!"

And as simply as that, dozens amongst dozens of angels swooped down from Heaven. It was hard for any human to see such a spectacle... but they were on a mission, not putting on a light show. For one angel, her life was about to change. She had been watching a certain human for months, she was deeply impressed by his heart, his power, and his kindness and sense of justice. He would be an excellent candidate, and with an angel's power guiding him, surely he would dent Necro's hard armor.

Ricca opened her palms and she flew down from Heaven. A crystal orb was formulated an image inside. The image was of the man she was searching for, she had little clue of where to locate him, but she felt his life force, and would follow it to whatever end.

Re: For Heaven and Earth (Ibuki No Sakura and Atzura)

The world had become a harsh place in recent years, or so thought a lone traveler. Garbed in simple blue coat, and pants. A cloak of black, draped from his shoulders like the falling night, hood hiding his face he looked to the sky. The once clear and beautiful sky he once loved about this area was now distorted and ugly with the flames of war. Turning his attention from it he continued on. "Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil." The traveler muttered to himself. A strange time to repeat part of a prayer. Yet not so much for this specific traveler. It was not long before he met with, humans, or at least human like people. The traveler stopped, a distance from them. He could sense malice and ill intent from them. Things he had seen and felt most often in his line of work. The Traveler heaved a large object from his back. The object cloaked in bandages with strange runes drawn on the entire length of it.

It was at that moment that the man began to speak as he unwrapped the objects head. "Our Father, which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done, in Earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil." He spoke as more bandages came off the more it was revealed, the object was a scythe, a war scythe to be exact. Most unlike those you would see in the in the farming fields. At the blades base the scythe was quite reminiscence of a dragons head. As he finished he armed himself knowing things were not to end well.
'Oh, Priest of Blade, pay homage to our lord and thou prayers shalt be answered.' One spoke as demons of all likes began to come out of the forest around him, seven as far as he could count. But knowing demons there were more lurking in the shadows. Thus making sever demons and at least three human like creatures, be they demon or human. The Priest had delt with there kind all of his life. It was his job after all, his breath came in deep releasing it just the same. "Oh, he who art fallen from gods grace, fear not in the shallows of hell, for thou art findith the warm embrace of our father in the afterlife." The Priest spoke, he clearly was intending to agitate the man. Yet this was to be expected, the man was mocking him after all. Things did not seem to be going quite well for him. His only thought at the moment, was his luck was rather rotten today. He would soon find it to become a trend.

Re: For Heaven and Earth (Ibuki No Sakura and Atzura)

Two were feral, lupine, wolf-like, tainted in a bizzare color, fangs yellow and dripping with saliva. The rest were for the most part humanoid, in terms of having one head, two arms and legs. Their appearance was demented, ugly, cursed. Sharp claws or weaponry between blades or bows; truly, a bad place to be for anyone who wasn't in leauge with this dark monster named Necro. The bothered very little in speaking to him, he reflected other energies, energies they didn't want consumed, but destroyed. As he revealed his weapon, they grew defensive, as they should have. But even for a man like the traveller, with the marvellous weapon he weilds, and holy chantments he may know, enemies of this volume would prove no easy task to overcome. Their skin was tough, their bones tougher. Some were incredibly cunning, while others were tacticians. Necro's demonic army, continues to grow, and in the skies above, the clash had begun, the generous Goddess, Anise, bringing down her sword against the mighty axe of Necro, who seemed to have the upper hand, as the sky's clouds twirled into chaos.

Ricca was descending quickly. She needed to reach the person she was convinced would help their cause. This world was breaking down and would soon be left in a pile of ash. Looking up at the skies above, she understood and felt uneasy about Necro possibly being up there, defeating her beloved Goddess. She however had a job to do, Heaven was not the only place in danger here, Earth and it's humans needed her, they needed each other. She started to feel the traveller's energies, as well as dark demonic presences, she panicked slightly, feeling that he would soon be surrounded, and possibly killed. Her wings would push no harder, gravity would pull no harder, he must hold on for his own life.

Re: For Heaven and Earth (Ibuki No Sakura and Atzura)

The Priest eyed each of them taking note of each of them, the cunning ones seemed to be the ones with ranged weapons. Each of which he took great note to, the humans on the other hand seemed to stay further back. Did they use magic or where they just cowards, never the less he would deal with them. A grin came over the priests face, the fun part of his job. They would find he was quite unique. He seemed to be quite outnumbered and out matched. This was not quite right he was still in the game. The dice were hot and he was on the last roll. A life or death game, the thrill of it. The Priest took note to the clashing from above. The titans were beginning to fight one another. "Oh, blade of dirty passion, crave thy flesh of your enemy, cleave them in swing, breath your breath oh, holy might, let lords passion feed your thirst." The Priest spoke in a haunting tone, the blade seemed to respond. A sparkle gleamed from it, the blade had sharpened, it was clear her took precaution for there hide. Yet unfortunately this was the only enchantment he actually knew that could be cast in a short amount of time.

Slowly he began to swing the scythe above his head. This caused it hard to approach him, the threat of lopping off your head was great. "Bring, you sorry excuses, for dogs." The Priest's personallity seemed to take a more cocky turn. He continued provoking the Lupines trying to get them to charge him. Despite there leaders, there lust could only be contained. Both charged from parallel sides trying to flank him. A basic tactic, if you attack from both sides one side would be wide open. As they closed in the priest crouched as if to lower how they could attack him. Causing them to duck down lower to avoid the blade. As they got close enough to strike he pushed up jumping in the air, using there heads as stepping stones jumping even higher. As he jumped he pushed there heads down and together. Giving them no chance to get back together and move away the blade cam down on them, cutting clean through there skulls. The Priest landed down firmly on the handle of the scythe. The object apparently supported his weight easily, but because of this the sound of the skulls of the wolves rang clear.

The sound of flesh being cut, must be a delectable sound to them. Yet it was of there own kind, which no doubt distraught them. He slew them with ease, with any luck it would distract some at least a little. To them the priest seemed to have a ominous aura about him now. From how he looked, he greatly resembled the God of death. The one god that resided between light and dark. He who cared not if they were good or evil in life, they were all the same in death. "Who shall I send to the lord next?" The priest spoke calmly he didn't seem to be taking this seriously. But that was hardly the case he took it with great seriousness. Knowing know is where the real fight began.

Re: For Heaven and Earth (Ibuki No Sakura and Atzura)

The one farthest away seemed unscaved by the loss of their lupines. They were primative, wild, angry, and lacked the cunning of Earth's natural creature, who hunted in large packs and tactically eliminated it's prey's movement. Immediately after the lupines were slain, two humans amongst the attack party ran back. "Forget about this! This isn't our fight!"

The calm, human look alike, turned in their direction, his tailed blond hair moving with him. He opened his right hand, pulling it back and swooping it over the running men from a fair distance. The priest could see the wires attatched, to each digit, and that in itself was a fatal weapon to behold. A gauntlet with cutting wires. The results... well the results made themselves present. As the men ran away and the calm foe swooped his hand as if grasping something in front of him, the running men where cut to pieces. The gore and blood was immense, the wires had cut clean through their bones, leaving them in cubed pieces which later bled in themselves.

With two lupines and two humans dead, that left this calm, and troublesome enemy, another human, and a dismembered demonic foe as well. A brute definitely. The gauntlet-weilder nodded forward and the human reluctantly charged. He knew where his life would end, and it was likely seconds away. The large demonic brute rushed him as well, surely, this would be tougher than killing hell wolves.

Ricca had come down quickly, she smelled the air, and the quality was not as good as before. She was close, very close. She landed, feeling the man's presence very close, then she heard the men being cut to cubes. She turned, seeing a small pack of those hell wolves glaring her.

"And so it begins. Come to my aid, Sword of Revelation..." The lupines growled and crouched, preparing to attack since she wasn't going to run. Ricca's eyes looked directly at them as a long sword fromed itself upon her hand. Light enough to be moved quickly, strong enough to smite those standing against the will of Anise. The blade crafted itself quickly, from mere fragments of solidified light. Later it took shape, texture, feel, and design. The wolf jumped towards Ricca, who frowned, "...protect me.... and... have mercy on them!" And she cut horizontally in it's direction.

Re: For Heaven and Earth (Ibuki No Sakura and Atzura)

The Priest made no move as they ran, clearly unfitted to be in such a place. He did not expect what would happen next. As they ran his eyes focused on the humanoid, wires the specialist of assassin type creatures. He was most likely a higher ranking demon to use that kind of skill. One that fights long-mid range. A dangerous enemy for him, the wires would cause a lot of problems for him. But he knew the way around it, but rather his attention was now on the two charging. The human would be easy enough that brute would be dangerous if he got a clean hit. That was what he had to avoid. The Priest came up with a plan mutter something under his breath as he abandoned his scythe, running away. He avoided the range of the gauntlet user. By his guesstimate his range was around twenty five feet. With his distance he would never get close enough. He moved far enough away that the range user would have to go past his scythe to get to him.

Not like it mattered, his weapon was out of his reach. Now the Priests attention was on the two before him. The human got to him first swinging a sword at him. He seemed to of had more confidence with the Priest lacking a weapon. Yet from his sleeve a hidden dagger flung connecting to his face. The human dropped dead, with a dagger pierced though his eye. The Priest took up the sword. "Oh lord, hear your servants plea, bring your light onto me!" The Priest spoke the sword shined brightly, a low level holy spell that even a novice could cast. It would last for a short time, and would allow him to pierce the beasts skin.
But it would not do very much damage. As the beast charged him, the Priest charge it. He was not daunted for a moment knowing timing was all he required. As the beast raised to swing, the priest slid forward, right in between it's legs, stabbing it from below. "O lord, send thy holy fury into this foul being~!" A spell that would be known all to well.

A Exorcism spell, but from the inside the beast would find it ever so deadly. Using the sword to transmit the spell, the beast began to grow and grow, till pop. A rain of blood showered over the Priest, who clearly disliked it. He had apparently not thought it through. Getting up he shook it off, using what ever dry part of his cloak to clean his face. "Joy now im going to need a bath, this stuff smells disgusting." A foul wretched smell indeed, the bluish blood was something ever so foul. A stench that would of corrupted any normal man. Yet the priest was undaunted by it, "Do you know how hard it is going to be to get this stuff out?" He asked clearly now paying more attention to his ruined clothes then the remaining demon. Soaked in the blood of a demon he was unaffected. There were only few humans who could possibly hope for this. The Envoys of Death, a order angels would never know of. For they cared not for light or dark. They cared to only to protect the human race. Yet even so there order was thought to be all but lost, after the demons destroyed there holy grounds. This perhaps was something she sensed, why the angel was drawn to him.

Though he was acting like a fool he knew that those before were push overs compared to him. They were easy to handle, but this next one. Mid rank demon, high mid rank form the looks of it. The strongest type that was normally found on earth. The priest was well aware that the lines hand been thinned but that didn't mean the game was on a even playing field. It seemed he was at a high disadvantage. His only hope was a gamble he had placed.

Re: For Heaven and Earth (Ibuki No Sakura and Atzura)

The usual guantlet user would normally use a wired gauntlet on one hand, more than likely, his dominant one. The opposite hand would wear a fine bracer, for defense and surprise attacks. They hit as hard as any fist, and some were modified to cut or pierce. Not his however, his was a solid defensive bracer, great for parrying and quick stunning attack at an enemy. Absolute attackers enjoy wearing two gauntlets. Their defense is an overwhelming offense, but the side effects are major. More often than not, a frustrated demon would end up with wires in tangles, and therefore, incapable of defending him or herself. It is in their best interested to remain calm, and coordinate their attacks. They are required to be masters of dexterity, graceful with their bodies and minds alike, fluid dodgers, experts of evasion and cunning finders of weaknesses and opportunities to finish their foes in single strikes preferably.

"Do not worry about the blood... holy one... eventually your own will paint it all red and soak back into your precious earth." He noticed the priest's weapon apart from it's master, it troubled him what bizzare plans the human had derived. It would only require a few steps before he could put the priest in range, and it was too good of a chance for him to pass on. The demon took two steps and wound back his arm, by the third step, his arm was flinging towards the priest at full speed, the five dangerous wires shearing the air before them with a screech.

Re: For Heaven and Earth (Ibuki No Sakura and Atzura)

The priest made no movements the lower half of his body was hidden by the body of his large fallen companion. From his palm like a snake after a rat in a hole was the runed cloth. This was his plan, the cloth, a wicked grin covered his face as the demon spoke. Moving forward in front of his weapon sealed his doom. "Oh, he of little faith!" The Priest spoke standing and pulling as hard as he could on the cloth. The scythe came from behind connecting with the demons back slicing though half of his body before part of the priests body was tangled in the wires. "Seems your right, my blood shall, yet so shall your body." The Priest spoke pulling his arm the wires slicing through his skin. Yet the remains of the blade sliced through the demon in half. Groaning in pain as his blood dripped down the wires. Ignoring any chance that he could be alive he slowly began to pick the wires he could off of himself so he didn't slice himself to pieces if her moved. His only hope was that did indeed kill the bastard. If not he was sure to die in the very next moments.

Re: For Heaven and Earth (Ibuki No Sakura and Atzura)

The demon was in shock, still very much alive, but incapable of doing anything but watching his lower half droop to the ground as his intestines spilled out. "S..Sah... Son of a b..." His eyes rolled back, quickly glazing as his breath was cut short. The bastard did tighten his fist, immediately causing an unexpected clinch in the wires. They were made from no material known to man, almost like steel web, reslelient and flexible. The bracer did the demon no justice, as his final tug ended in less than a second, death finally reaching the mid ranked demon.

The vibrations from the tug caused some additional damage, but nothing irrepairable. No bone was cut, so it was all flesh wound.

The demon had taken much of his attention, and as a result, a monstrosity of a brute was able to pre-emptively strike. The large massed creature dove at him with both arms, seeing him bleeding and some showing of pain and discomfort.

Re: For Heaven and Earth (Ibuki No Sakura and Atzura)

"Never underestimate a mercenary, or count for us to play fair, no matter how holy we might be." The Priest spoke dropping his holy act, there was no one to taunt with it now. The on;y time he ever did it was when he was trying to annoy someone. Cursing as he felt more of the wires dig into him. Even so he continued picking it off. He got some of the cursed wires off before the brute came from nowhere. His body still bound by the wires, this caused some problems. He moved in the direction of the fallen demon hoping it would loosen the wires. As he picked the webs from himself he did what he could to stay out of it's way. Then a odd Idea came to him, but her would rather use it as a last resort. After all, so far that would be far more dangerous then what he just pulled. "Dammit to hell, whats with the excess of demons!? I have better business yet lower life expectancy!" The Priest complained to himself as he stopped near his weapon. By this point he was trying to use the blade to cut the wires to no avail.

Re: For Heaven and Earth (Ibuki No Sakura and Atzura)

The brute lunged at him, apparently having him exactly where a brute would want it's next meal or pummel toy. It wasn't going to be a good death, it never was with brutes. They liked tearing up their prey, to either eat or dispose of. Their hands were hard enough to rip through flesh, they loved going for the stomach first, seeing how the human body works, although they never learned anything form it except for the fact that intestines were long and fun to play with. The brutes hands reached out, as something quickly got between them, a matter of inches truthfully. It had wings, and blonde hair, "Sword of Revalation... shield me!" She called, holding out her hands towards the brute, the sword emitting a shine as it spun around her hands, fanning the enemies attack behind it's illustrious wall. The brute bounced off the shield, and roared loudly at her. The sword returned itself to her grip as she charged forward, the brute attempting to swat her away. It was hard to see any of her features, she flew rather quickly. She zipped past him, cutting quickly with her blade. The creature started to bleed from it's left arm, the blood showered down from its arm, seconds later the limb falling off. The brute reached for the angel with his hand, and actually grabbed her. She seemed somewhat stunned and surprised, the strong brute now trying to crush her smaller bones in. She inhaled deeply and raised her weapon, claiming the creature's wrist with one swing. She zipped out of his hand, immediately cutting an ankle of his, in which he stumbled onto her waiting blade, which decaptiated him smoothly. She whipped the blood off her blade and turned towards the man, momentarily stopping and reaching for her stomach in pain. She pulled herself together and headed towards this "priest."

"Are you harmed, good man?" She asked still reeling from the brute's hold.

Re: For Heaven and Earth (Ibuki No Sakura and Atzura)

The Priest cursed at his luck, despising the thought that this beast might be the end of him. The moment he lounged at him he knew that it was the end. But being the kind of person he was, he wasn't going to let this beast get away with it. If he was going to die then so too was beast. This wire was tough enough to slice through other demons no doubt. Though it would cut him to bloody pieces it would at least take out the beast too. "Lord, I shall come to thee, in the grace of battle." The moment he was ready to make his suicide move, the beast was halted. Long golden hair shielded his vision of the beast, wings of shadows. A beautiful figure, had halted the death that was to come. All the thoughts that went through the priests mind, was that his lord had sent one of his angels to save one loyal to him. He watched inattentively as he picked the wires from his body. She was astounding, beauty in form. A blood stained glory, it was a awe inspiring thing to see. He did enjoy her decapitation, a wonderful way to end a kill, of a beast like that.

Especially one that was trying to rip him to shreds. By the time she approached him he had nearly finished picking the demonic wires from his body. "I am not injured beyond the norm. Yet your wounds are much more to my concern. Those beasts once hurt are by far more dangerous. That's why you always aim for a one strike kill." The Priest spoke as blood flowed down his arm at a steady pace. He seemed to be completely ignoring that fact. Yet to him it was indeed only a minor wound, he was used to having to say bed ridden for days after a fight with such creatures. Luckily enough the Mid-level demon underestimated him. The moment her finished picking the wires from his body he pressed his non bloody hand softly against her stomach, feeling for any broken ribs. As he searched he seemed to completely ignore everything else.

Re: For Heaven and Earth (Ibuki No Sakura and Atzura)

"I'll try to remember that, priest. We angels have little experience against these brutes." She said, looking at his wound and wondering if he would be okay. She suddenly felt his hand press against her stomach, and felt, uncomfortable, on top of that, there was a sharp pain from his touch, and it caused her to grab his wrist and lead it away, "Aughh...." She moved her hands to reinforce herself as best as she could. "I am sorry..." She winced, "It's hurting a bit... let me introduce myself...." She inhaled deeply and stood up straight, slowly. "My name is Ricca. I am an angel in the service of the diety Anise. She herself is a decendant and follower of the Almighty Lord. She has come to conflicts with the dark diety Necro. The two are clashing and causing all of this. Sadly, your world is smack in the middle of it..." She closed her eyes again, "Our bodies get so frail in this realm. We perform better in Heaven or Hell."

Re: For Heaven and Earth (Ibuki No Sakura and Atzura)

Her words made his suspicious, having little experience with demons. That was not something he would expect from a angel of his lord. He did take note of how frail she was, he could feel only so much before she moved his hand. "You should take care of your body more, you should remove your top. We don't know if that brute had any poison in his skin. Even if it is connected to just your clothes, we don't know how it might effect you." Alvin spoke clearly ignoring most of her introduction. He seemed far more concerned with her wounds. He wasn't speaking with the intent just to see under her clothes, that was just a perk. He did take note of whom she served, the light fighting the dark, how common was this story. He couldn't help but be skeptical about it. He chose not to speak his thoughts on the matter. She had just saved his life after all. There was no point in angering her. "Considering your not there, you should not lean on those facts and get used to where you are quickly." He spoke in calm tone standing up, he made his way to his scythe heaving it from the corpse it had recently cut. Placing it on his shoulder he cracked his neck, a sigh, echoed from his mouth. "Since you were so kind as to introduce yourself, I shall as well, I am Eli, the Priest of the Blade, Mercenary Hunter, Tis, a pleasure M'lady." Eli spoke giving a slight bow. He gave her great respect in speaking such.

Re: For Heaven and Earth (Ibuki No Sakura and Atzura)

"I know much about you... it's why I'm here... but it's a pleasure to meet you. I am not sure if I can comply with your request to remove my garb, it's probably best we skip over that. I know about human men... and in general... any sort of female they could get their hands on. I rather not have internal conflicts..." She grunted again. "With someone I plan to work with... It's not like I am carrying a change of clothing either. This was made for me specifically by Anise. I honor her by wearing it... For the most part... we've fought demons which for some reason look more human than animal. These brutes have never made it to crossing our border, I am not sure why, but this is the first time I've seen them. That gauntlet user... we see plenty of them... But you are correct, we are in earth, I should grow accustomed to fighting in it. I feel like even my powers are lesser."

Re: For Heaven and Earth (Ibuki No Sakura and Atzura)

Eli listened intently though by his facial expression it seemed as if he payed little attention. He held a blank look one she would recognize if she watched him close enough. This was what he did by instinct to anyone he held no trust for. It did bother him, that she grouped him with all men. Not all of them were that way, though considering she was clearly not of this world, it was a rational assumption. Thought she didn't quite think the reasons through. Her following words only gave him all the more reason to inspect the wound. She doubt she took notice to the corpses of the demons under them the ground died. But where the Brutes laid the ground died at a much faster pace. "Considering im a priest of shorts, the assumption should be lessened." Eli spoke those words seemingly thinking about that fact. He was indeed a priest of sorts, though perhaps not the best or actually how a priest should be. "Either way, take a look at the ground around us, the demons blood kills the earth, the humanoid's spreads at a much slower pace. Though he is intelligent and more skilled with weapons and such. There demonic energy's are generally less, then the brutes. There are exceptions to this but our friend here wasn't a spell casting mid-level. The Brutes only have lesser rank because they lack intelligence. In the demon world, brains can beat brawn as long as the brain can manipulate brawn. The brutes are fuming with demonic energy, but rather it being used for spells and such, it is channeled to there muscles making them exceedingly big and physically strong. There energy also constantly escapes there bodies if they cannot hold it all, which most can't. Being that you just got here, and haven't seen effect of what demonic energies can have on your body." Eli spoke in a calculating tone. It was quite reasonable assumption to look for the worse. He seemed quite intent of seeing the wound, weather or not she liked it.

"Now remove it and let me see the wound, or would rather I make you?" He spoke he was clearly ready for another fight if necessary. It was unsure how he would fair against her with both carrying a wound. Yet the most important fact was what other skills they might have other then what they have seen of each other. The truth of it she had shown more then he had. The blood from his arm had stopped through out there talk. The runed cloth had wrapped it's self around his arm halting the flow of blood.

Re: For Heaven and Earth (Ibuki No Sakura and Atzura)

Ricca had studied him, but not enough to see the significance or meaning behind his calculating face. After hearing his small lecture, she became slightly more trusting and understood what he was speaking of, which meant that he was in fact the man she had been looking for. She didn't want to question him, and felt that his pride took him slightly over the edge when he threatened, but she felt no malice from him, still, the man would need to work out some edges to perfect his negotiations, a less passive angel would have attacked him after hearing that. She swallowed deeply and ran her hand over her forehead. "I just met you... so understand that I am not completely comfortable. "I... I will be... completely exposed if I remove this... so... please be quick about it." She said quietly, moving closer to a tree and starting to remove her Anise Issued clothing. She closed her eyes, her cheeks ablaze, feeling the cool breeze against her bare skin. She cupped her breasts with her arm, and was wearing a blue (and quite fashionable) panty. So it wasn't like he saw anything too descriptive, except the injury of course.

Re: For Heaven and Earth (Ibuki No Sakura and Atzura)

Eli's personallity generally came from his lack of social skills. He never really had any true need for them. The life he lead generally took him to civilization for short times while he wandered from place to place. This is what gave him a crude personallity. But it was true, that he got straight to the point of things. He didn't seem to be the type to beat around the bush or lie about things. Though it seemed that it would cause problems, with him telling the truth that rather not be said by most. Yet it might have been true a less passive angel would of attack him, he would of struck back in a second, or perhaps even before they made a move. Eli could sense the emotions of her as well, hesitance, insecurity, uncertainty, yet a hint of acceptance of what he had said. He closed his eyes as she spoke allowing her a bit more comfort as she undressed.

"No one is ever truly comfortable leaving themselves bare in front of others. Especially when they are armed, though I can't quite separate myself from my weapon at the moment to re assure you I won't attack you." Eli spoke as he opened his eyes as he heard her clothing drop. He gazed at her from head to toe taking in the sight. The fair white skin that seemed to have a hint of glow to it. The soft pink upon her caressing her cheeks, bringing the color of her lips even more. Any lesser man would of pounced on her, and taken advantage of her being bare. Yet he held his composure, as he had dealt with worse. He had his fights with Succubus before, and for once he was thankful for his wound and the cloth. Upon her body the only mark was where he was hurt, softly the tips of his fingers traced the wound. Even wounded it was like touching fine silk, truly something one would expect from a angel. Softly he pressed his entire palm against her wound softly pushing her back against the tree.

The center of his palm was on her belly button. "Oh, darkness that hides, show me truth, show me your from and posses me, take this feeble body and make it your own, so me truth, show me power, bring me to damnation." As Eli spoke his voice seemed to be laced with darkness. This no doubt would worry her that he was not who she sought. Yet a sudden pain would no doubt follow as his hand moved away from her body. The center of his palm was covered in a black slime that flowed straight from her body to his hand without dripping. It flowed from her belly button out, it was only moments later did it all come out forming to his hand. He slime began to take form into a ball crystallizing. "As I expected, a dark stone, this is much larger then usual. It seems that you angels are more susceptible to the dark energies her on earth. That is to be expected, the more you are exposed to darkness the less susceptible you are to it. It might be because you are weakened when you came her, or rather you have not taken the precaution to block the flow of pure dark energies, but rather focused on the attack flow of it." Eli spoke tossing the stone into the air, the bottom end of the bandages that flowed at the top of his wound shot after it. The end of it turning into a dragons head, snapping up the stone. The odd cloth looking back at them before it swallowed the stone.

Another rune formed upon it's head, before it flowed back and returned to normal. Eli seemed to take no notice to the events of it, no doubt he was used to it. "You may put your clothes back on, though I would recommend getting a extra set of clothes, and finding someone to enchant them to stop the flow of pure demonic energy if you desire to come to earth more often." Eli seem a bit less hard the flow of his words gave a lightened feeling. It was as if he was relieved of pain, which one would expect, he would be in, given his arm was cut in several places.

Re: For Heaven and Earth (Ibuki No Sakura and Atzura)

Ricca watched him begin to come closer, and immediately felt as if this was inappropriate in several ways. He touched her injury and she fought hard not to strike him. It hurt, deeply. He pushed against her lightly, leading her back against a nearby tree. She closed her eyes and started sweating when she felt the matter drawn from her. She didn't know what to think, his chant sounded dark, omonious. Something had started happening to her, and she was unsure of the man's motives at this point. This was unlike anything she had experienced, but he was proving to be very much capable.

She panted heavily after he was finished, she immediately reached for her stomach, despite revealing her bare breasts to him. "What... what was that..." She asked nervously, never before having even been told about such a matter existing. Were the angels this lost in their knowledge of the enemy? Did any of them stand a chance on earth? She wanted an explanation more than she wanted her clothing back. On earth, Anise's clothing was as useful as a local robe, so she began to understand the reality of fighting on earth.

"Please priest, explain to me what that was... I don't know what to think of what I just saw... I thought you were to be in awe of my abilities and appearance, in truth, I'm very much afraid of you... good man..."

Re: For Heaven and Earth (Ibuki No Sakura and Atzura)

Eli could feel her urge to strike at him from the pain of her injury. She did well to resist that urge. He eyed her curiously, questioning if she was asking about the dragon that the bandage had turned into or what he pulled out of her. Though he supposed she was more interested in the slime he pulled from her. He thought it was true they were rather at a loss on earth. The Demons had always crawled to the world of men, and tampered with the. Where as the angels no doubt remained on high keeping to themselves waiting for the 'day' that they were 'needed.' A foolish thought with being away from earth they had no idea of what effects it could have on them. It seemed he would have a lot more work to do then he originally though. He was going to have the problem of fighting fallen angels no doubt.

His gaze was set for a time upon her now bare chest. It was a fault of him being a man, that he couldn't turn away from it. It was when she spoke again that he was able to advert his gaze to her face. Taking a deep breath he removed the cloak he still wore draping it over her to shadow her body. It was to keep his attention from drifting. "You are learning already. I am not in awe in anything, I have come to expect the unexpected. The demons had recently become more and more active. So it is no doubt that 'holy ones' would come. As forgotten book read: When darkness lays over the land like midnights hand, the light shall come to contest, for that is the day the world shall die, in twilight's eye." Eli took a deep breath it truly seemed to be the end of days. He seemed to be quite willing to explain things to her. Though he was clearly ready for anything. He made it apparent to make a bit of distance from her. "You have all right to fear me, for I may be a priest by name I am no saint. As you have already seen I am versed in the dark arts. What I used on you was a technique that draws the demonic energy from someone and crystallizes it to create a Unkibo, or Dark Stone. This is often used by demons to drain the power of another demon to boost there own power. It kills them in a rather brutal, I would of drained the Unkibo out of our friends here, but even I am susceptible to there blood. My friend her on my arm, is what is called a Cursed tool, it is a sentient cloth, that devours Unkibo. It is quite handy seeing as it reacts to my command and can move independently. Though it has a nasty habit of drinking my blood if I don't feed it. Which is why it snaked on my arm, once I gave it the Unkibo it stopped drinking. It is intelligent enough to drink slowly and drink only so much to not effect how I fight. Seeing as it likes Unkibo much more then mortal blood." Eli explained what he had done along with what it was and what the thing attached to his arm and weapon were.

It was clear that he wasn't as holy as she once thought, no doubt she would question him all the more. No doubt that he would answer any question she asked with little hesitance. But that didn't mean he let his guard down he watched her carefully, she was in a worse position then he was. Usually he would of just left her after he had extracted the Unkibo but he stayed for some reason. Perhaps it was repayment for what he had seen, after all he was the type of person to believe in equivalent exchange. "Even though I used dark magic to extract it do not think that it is the only magic I am versed in. I would use a healing spell on you but I doubt that is a good idea at the moment. Any other question's you might have, 'Recca?'" Eli asked calmly his face showing a bit more emotion then before. It was most likely because he was sure she was able to keep calm, despite pain or such. At the moment he rather not have a pointless fight just because of something as trivial as what was happen now. Though he doubted she thought it as trivial.

Re: For Heaven and Earth (Ibuki No Sakura and Atzura)

Ricca willingly accepted the cloak and didn't overlook the fact of his stares. She came to expect as much from human men. She listened to him carefully, her eyes clearly showing both interest and fear. She immediately began to think of how to process all of this. Unfortunately, she had little choice in the matter. She would have to try to stop his practice of the dark arts, however, at this point, those same arts may save their world. "You use demonic energies yourself? It drains your blood?" She brought her palm to her face. "It doesn't matter at this point. So long as you are not a murderer of innocents, I have no judgements at this time." She looked at the clothing Anise issued her on the ground. "Is there anyway for me to clean this? I rather not wear your cloak alone during battle. Having you looking at me is entertaining enough. The demons have sexual drives as well, and a tempting blonde angel is just about as popular as a succubus to them. Worry not about my injury. You have done more than enough, and I thank you. I understand if you may have wanted to keep out of the dieties' affairs... but you have ended up in the battle. You will side with us... won't you? If you speak to an intelligent, ranked demon, they would surely take you in. The choice is yours, I much rather not be your enemy. You are skilled, powerful, and a handsome man, even compared to my angelic brothers. I would hate to waste such a body, for a deserving human girl somewhere."

Re: For Heaven and Earth (Ibuki No Sakura and Atzura)

Considering she was a angel she was most likely over looking the fact any human would stare. Women would be staring in most likely a more distasteful manner. Humans wouldn't compare to the silk of her skin, and shape of perfection angels were no doubt be used to. Not even the most pampered and beautiful noble would be able to compare with the lowest of angels. Though the other races that no doubt hid within the world could. Even so he pushed the thought to the back of his mind. It was funny to see that look in the eyes such of her. She was rather like a child in this aspect. So full of interest, and such a will to learn. It was rather a refreshing thing to see that in someones eye. The fear he knew all to well, with his line of work, it was always there. "Yes I use demonic energies, but no it is not the energies that drain my blood. This cloth was not made nore cursed by demons it was by humans hands, and ancient order all but dead, yet the artifacts of which they once possessed still remain, all Nine." Eli spoke with a sigh his appearance had softened greatly.

His hand rubbed the back of his head, he had whacked it during one of the maneuvers though nothing to worry about it was just sore. His movements stopped once she spoke of Judgments, a funny thought. Though he pushed it to the side, when she began asking if there was a way for her to clean it. Her words where amusing enough he hadn't had anyone talk like this to him in a while. He thought could sense a bit of defiance in her tone, a ironic thing for a angel. "Using normal water will clean it, the demonic energies would by pass the cloth and attack the body. So it is safe to put it on dirty even." Eli explain, in a rather calm tone, clearly amused even so. The thought of her getting gang raped by a group of demons did cause a vain to pop up, yet even so it wasn't his problem. "More so, seeing as you are there enemy and how do you thing they would be to have the pleasure to make you fall." Eli commented in rather Ominous tone. Though when she asked who he would side with a odd smirk came over his face. Especially around the time of flattery. "If I said demons you would attack me in a moment so don't try to be coy, girl. As for flattery it doesn't work on me, if it did I would of been on the side of demons, causing mass death and destruction, more then I already do that." Eli spoke quite a bit of humor laced his voice, though the mass death and destruction would cause reason for concern. Eli stood looking to the sky, a solemn look in his face. "I have been pulled into nothing, I have no intention of siding with either of you. Humanity is not of the light or the Dark. I will stand on my own two feet, and fight the way I wish. If my path takes me the same way as Angels or demons that is fine. Heh, or perhaps I will always walk the path different from either. Sorry for you to waste your time, but I chose the Side of those of us who still walk in Twilight." Eli spoke a grin upon his face, he doubted she would accept that.

Someone of his level of strength and Knowledge would always be sought after by both sides, trying to be persuaded to join one side or another. One day it would be without doubt if he still lived he would have to pick a side. Yet this early in the war there was no need to. "Well, with all that, my debt is re-payed. I bid you adue, Ms. Ricca, May our paths never cross upon opposite ends, because if they do, I will not hold back." Eli spoke giving he a half bow, he was rather well mannered in movements, yet his words were still lacking in the same area. Eli gathered himself and what little he had now, his weapon had been wrapped back in the cloth. Positioning it upon his back he turned from her and moved back into the forest. It was rather clear he was taunting her to follow, though he would no directly join them. There was still a chance that indirectly he would help her. If one couldn't get the strength out right why not chase after the knowledge?

Re: For Heaven and Earth (Ibuki No Sakura and Atzura)

Ricca held onto her clothing when he said he wouldn't side with either yet. She felt that she did not know her candidate at all at this point. He sounded like a mercenary, and one who would care only for himself. She struggled to finish listening to him discuss how he hoped to never have to fight her, and felt insulted when he, even in the smallest way, threatened her. Ricca thought about returning to Heaven. Everything was better there, the air, the sights, the smells. Her powers were at 100% in Heaven. She'd have a great chance of smearing Eli's corpse onto the walls. But on this earth, with her reduced abilities, the confident human male could best her.

"I don't want to be your enemy either, good man. But there are no shadows, when you bathe in the light." She said, describing indirectly how his usage of dark energies would soon become a problem, and how if he chose to follow his instincts and possibly even side with Hell, temporarily, Ricca would have to purge him from this world.

Re: For Heaven and Earth (Ibuki No Sakura and Atzura)

She was quite right, Eli had lived the life of a Mercenary Purging demons where the Angels did not tread. It was no surprise that he held no trust for them, who stood on high. He wouldn't lie the offer of eternal rest in the comfort of above would be nice when he too passed on. The path he was on now, he knew where the end of his road lead, and it was not a place of rest. There was no doubt that if they were in heaven she would have more of a advantage there. Yet for a human only through death or work of angels could he ascend to such a place. Which as it stood he would not go willingly. Turning to her when she spoke he actually had a challenging smile on his face. "There shall always be shadows where the light lies, for darkness to hide. You will learn this is the truth through war. But you really should try to act more real down here. Talking like that you will make yourself look like a fool." Eli taunted her he knew full well she judged him. He cared not for that fact, everyone did. Yet she was wrong about one thing, he didn't care about himself, if she had not came earlier he would of sliced himself up pretty badly.

Re: For Heaven and Earth (Ibuki No Sakura and Atzura)

She frowned at him, "This experience alone is really showing me how you ended up biting the forbidden fruit anyway." She mumbled, tugging on the cloak he lended her. It was slightly uncomfortable, her having wings and all. She had to keep them folded.

"Either way, we have something larger to deal with. I came to this earth to find you, and here you are. As you know, I represent Anise, a kind a generous goddess. Together with you, I hope to combine our power and eliminate the threat of the emerging, whom prefer Anise's enemy, Necro. We should move to meet with others who support Anise immediately. You would be a big help."
