"Rock! There's a group of Mavericks in front of you, followed by a high security door. I'm not able to hack it from here, so you'll have to find a way to open it." Roll warned Rock over the radio. "Got it. Any idea what's locked up in here?" Rock asked, as he readied his Buster and Grenades for a fight, before opening the door. A trio blasts greeted him, and he barely dodged out of the way. Rock retaliated with Buster fire, aiming for joints and likely sensor spots. The spiderlike robots scuttled around in attempts to dodge, but he managed to cripple one. Rock chucked a grenade at it, before tucking himself behind a handy pillar for cover.

His name was Takashi Volnutt, but his nickname was Rock. Partly because of his interest in history, and partly because he was stubborn. His best friend and traveling partner was Manami Caskett, but most called her Roll. She was always moving, doing something. Usually either building a device, or hacking technological devices. They were Diggers, people who went into the wasteland in search of Lost Technology. Most of the time they found either easily reproducible technology that was sold, or if they were lucky, rare technology that Roll liked to mess with. So far they hadn't found any Lost Technology.

The hulking armor, nearly twelve feet tall, advanced past the human without a word. It's blade was brought down in a sweep, severing several bodies in the blades wake. "I'll take care of the door.. but this spiders need to die, Takashi." A neutral, almost dull voice came from the armor as it continued it's onslaught. the Maverick spiders jumped and scraped at the hulking armor, put with little avail, the tough armor either regenerating or taking no damage from the lesser machines.

This kind of onslaught was normal for Roland. This is what he was trained for, more or less. After that, his light simply drifted and followed the current of adventure and conflict. Surely, if his blade were not made of energy, it would be stained black and red by oil and blood. This was the first time he traveled with a 'Digger' before. But the concept of finding Model O in these ruins rocked Model S to it's, and his, very core. And yet, He didn't understand why the others were willing to risk life and limb for some trivial scrap metal. what was this thrill they had when they traversed the ruins? What motivated them? All that drove Roland on was Model-S and the long-dead Maverick organization that 'raised' him.

"No idea. The vault we're looking for is deeper in. Either this is an access point, or a storage room of some kind." Roll replied. Rock nodded his head to Roland. After a quick glance around the room, Rock answered, "True enough Roland." Rock ran out of his cover, Buster laying down cover fire as he ran to another pillar. "Incoming!" He shouted as he placed a grenade at the base, before rushing towards the wall. Rock jumped, and at the height of his jump hit the wall feet first. Jumping off the wall, Rock headed towards the pillar. The grenade went off, wrecking the base and weakening the pillar as a whole. Rock fired at the top of the pillar, and slammed into it, causing it to break off and slam into the ground, smashing several of the Mavericks.

Roll sighed, wishing she could do more. But Rock didn't want her bringing her favorite toy, and he worried too much otherwise. And she wasn't exactly skilled at personal combat, so overkill was her preferred method. Bringing the ruins down on them wasn't exactly something he wanted to repeat, so she was usually stuck here. In her heavily modified car, waiting for Rock and helping as best she could. The fact that he had someone accompanying him this time didn't exactly fill her with joy. This Roland fellow was a strange Hunter. It was fascinating to meet a Megaman, and her hands itched to study Biometal Model S, but that didn't stop her from being concerned. Roland had seemed... dead inside, hollowed out. She hadn't had a chance to look him up yet, but he had asked/demanded to come along.

Rock and Roll had come out here into Sector S1 in order to search for an abandoned Cryogenic Storage Facility from the Cyber Elf War. There had been mention of stored weapons from that time, and Roll was interested in studying it. Myth said it was also the resting place of a 'God of Destruction'. That tidbit is what had Roland wanting to join them. Rock had been as unconcerned as always. Roll had a slight worry, however. Not that she would ever admit it. But the raw power Roland had, especially since Rock hadn't taken her favorite weapon with him, had her concerned if Roland was one of THOSE Hunters. It wasn't a major concern, and one she would never show, but it was one reason she was trying to be in constant radio contact. It eased her mind, to hear his voice. Not that she was worried or anything...

Roland sighed, as if impatient... Or rather Model S was impatient. The idea of it's kin, it's other self, calling out from deep within the ruin's catacombs, and this was easily enough to send Model S's 'consciousness', into a state of fine-tuned strife. That is of course assuming it had one, rather than a single-minded desire.) "Watch your head." He half-commanded, whirling around with his blade before his "hands" rocketed forth, decimating more and more Mavericks, making piles of metal corpses. With only so few left, the Hunter inspected the door, without a care for the few remaining that wished to regroup or nip at his ankles.
