in the realm of lust and seduction
It was a dull day, the sky was clouded and overcast and it was constantly drizzling making the air cold and humid. Any colder and that misty drizzle would have been sleet, so there was at least that little bit of luck. A lone figure was moving through the miserable weather, the little village people where all safely entombed in their houses of metal and concrete... though if he was being honest with himself calling them 'village people' probably wasn't going to score him any points if he ever decided to make his way into their dull smelly lives. He was a respected figure for all of the people in his territory, everyone knew who Mylakka was, the Lord of their Lands, even if most of them thought that they shouldn't need a 'lord' in the twenty first century. Then something would happen, some great disaster and they'd crawl to him, ever so grateful that he was there to make things better.

He was a very strange person though, like he simply didn't belong in their time and place. Everyone whispered about the strange man with his long hair and yellowish eyes and peculiar habit of dressing in leather as if he was about to go out and do something bloody and dangerous. He looked like a warrior who simply had nothing to do most of the time, but how could any of them realize that he was one of the first Vikings to have ever set sail? He had been alive when the Norse Gods, Thor, Loki, Hel and Oden, forged the Viking Lands and created the Great tree Yggdrasil. Mylakka could still see the wonder and amazement as he looked upon the earth from the branches of Yggdrasil. But Mylakka had long since abandoned the gods, as they had abandoned him, and he no longer wished to thing of the beauty of Asgard and Yggdrasil. Besides, he was out in that miserable weather for a reason, and he intended to find the source of his frustration immediately.

It was a scent, of course. The scent of blood but not just any blood. This blood was sweet, deliciously so, as if the person bleeding was made of candy and ice-cream. Mylakka wanted whoever was making that sweet smell. As he rarely took human's into his castle, no one would mind too much. They all knew he was a vampire, but none of the human's in his territory could ever have guessed just how old and powerful he really was. He paused and sniffed at the air as the wind shifted and he turned to look upon the human he had stumbled across. A woman, a beautiful woman was laying broken in the mud. For a moment he feared she was dead, and that he would never get to taste her sweetness, but the steady rise and fall of her chest assured him that she was indeed breathing.

He carefully scooped her up into his arms and took her to his home where he carefully bathed her and washed her wounds. He cared little for her nudity, what did he care for the nakedness of a body? Yes she was very attractive, but vikings, and the other cultures he had lived in had a habit of wandering around naked. So nudity was simply common to him. He laid her in the bed and bandaged her damages and then left her there to rest in the room of black and white silk. It was a very rich looking room, and he was certain her shock would give him all the warning he needed of her waking to a place she had no knowledge of. She would be his Blood Slave, but he was a kind master, and she would be treated as a queen, and given anything she desired. He could even arrange to have her family come and visit her anytime she wanted. If she proved trustworthy he would even let her wander around as she leased, so long as she came back when he called to her. He would have to wait and see how she adjusted to her new place in his life, he certainly wasn't about to just let her go after all.

Hel blinked slowly, after nearly a full day out, the woman was disoriented beyond even just waking up warm and safe. Frowning as she stared at the ceiling she came back to herself slowly, struggling to find the words that she wanted. Even if she had no idea who she was, or where she was, the woman had a bone deep knowledge of what she was, even if she couldn’t tell anyone what it was. She was different, and as such, she knew that she could talk if she wanted to, or figure out what she wanted. And even if she was trapped in a castle, she knew she really wasn’t trapped here, it would be as long as she agreed to stay. She wasn’t sure what left her with the assurance that that was it, but she was sure she was not trapped.

Sitting up slowly she moved to the edge of the bed, lowering her legs to the floor she yelled in startlement, the ancient norse curse word tumbling off her lips easily as her legs buckled under her. She might be a goddess, but she was Hel, loki’s crippled daughter who ruled over the nilfihiem. She could walk, short little bursts if she needed to, but in all the centuries she’d lived, she had never truly had the freedom to come and go as she wanted.

Laying on the floor she shuddered, trying to get the energy to get up, or even remember who she was. Or where she was.

there was a sudden movement as she cried out and suddenly Mylakka was there, looking as cool and poised as he always did as he moved over to her and crouched next to her, looking for injuries. "You are badly hurt. you need to rest." he stated softly. his voice was full with a rich accent, an accent that no modern day person would ever be able to place. but it was ancient Norse, Viking accent that she would have been able to place instantly if she had been aware enough to realize he had an accent at all. "let me help you." he offered, carefully pulling her into his arms and settling her into bed, wondering if she'd realize that she was dressed in pajamas that she certainly hadn't been wearing before. it never once occurred to him that it wasn't weakness or injury that had caused her to collapse, what did he know of such things after all? still, crippled or not, she was exquisitely beautiful, and she smelled like all the worlds sweetness. she was literally the best thing he had ever smelled in his life, and he knew she'd taste just as good, but he wanted her in full health before he had his taste. he wanted her to understand what he was and her role in life now that she was awake before he took her for himself. it was better for them to accept things before he made slaves of them after all.

"There now." he stated, carefully tucking the blanket around her before he moved to the doorway again and picking up the tray of hot food he had gathered for her. while he did not need to eat human food, he did enjoy it a great deal and always had good food stocked in his castle for him and the human servants he had working for him. he gently settled the pleasantly warm tray on her legs and motioned for her to eat. "Can you tell me your name My Little One?" he asked her curiously. "can you tell me who hurt you?" for no one would get away with beating a woman so brutally and then leaving her to die, not in his lands. even if she had been guilty of a crime, there was a law system in place for a reason... not to mention his first, and only love who had died after being raped and beaten simply because she had not been fast enough to get out of the way. he would stand for no abuse in his lands, and all knew it. there would be punishment handed out when Mylakka found out who had hurt this beauty.

Tears misted Hel’s eyes as she looked up at the vampire. A small frown flickered over her face, as if his accent tugged at a memory, but it wasn’t there. She couldn’t find it. Leaning against him for a moment as he settled her into bed she shivered, frowning slightly as she looked at the clothes.”What…are these?I do not…think I own these…”She said plucking at the shirt she was wearing as she considered it. The woman was so very confused on what was going on with her, or what he wanted with her.

Looking up at him as he got the food for her, she started to eat in small bites, even if the woman was human in appearance, the woman was not human. She didn’t have to eat a lot, or at all really, so when she did, it was only for her pleasure. Nibbling as she looked up at him, shaking her head a little.”I do not know. I hoped you would be able to tell me.”She said fear shadowing her eyes as she considered the man in front of her.Even if he was calm, and being kind, the woman had been brutally been beaten.

he blinked at her. "they are pajamas. the clothes you where wearing where too damaged, i had to replace them." he stated softly as he examined her. "you do not remember? you must have been hit in the head then.." he muttered softly as he carefully examined her bruised face. "amnesia... your memories might return in time." honestly, he was ecstatic over this, he could establish himself as her master before she ever regained her memories. "i know very little about you. you where to become my new Blood Servant." he lied easily. "when you did not appear i went to look for you, and found you laying on the side of the road, broken and bleeding." he admitted with a low growl. "i will hunt very hard to find who did this to you. perhaps they will have answers to who you are. i certainly wont let them get away with hurting an innocent woman in my lands." he admitted, his eyes flashing, the only real sign that he was furious before he blinked at her. "you will need a great deal of rest and recovery." he admitted, gently tucking her hair out of her face. "i will let no one hurt you again." he promised her, gently patting her knee. "now, eat and then sleep. i will find you some entertainment so you are not bored while you are abed." he promised her as he stood up, well aware that she might not know what a Blood Slave was.

when he returned it was with more food, a few dozen books of various kinds and a Television which he set up in the room close to her bed. with Cable and everything, over six hundred channels... well over six hundred channels that weren't sports channels, pay per view, and porno channels. "How are you feeling?" he asked her softly, his head tilted. "have you thought of a name for yourself or shall i offer you a few and see if there is one that you like?" he asked, arranging the books close to her bed so she could reach any that she might want. there was a sketchpad too, and a game-boy with a few dozen cartridges. she certainly had plenty to entertain herself with.

“I…I don’t.”Panic filled her eyes as she realized she didn’t have any sort of memory beyond waking up and falling. Swallowing hard as she looked up at him, anxious before calming as he told her what she was here for. Nodding slightly she swallowed.”Oh…I am sorry my lord…I…I know being hurt has surely put a damper on your plans.”She said looking down as she leaned back against the covers, settling down to sleep like he asked. While she had no idea what a blood slave was, he said she was here for him, so she was being very trusting that he would eventually tell her what was going on.

Blinking up at him sleepily as she stirred, “Will you tell me a few?I…I do not know what to call myself, my lord.”She muttered flushing ever so prettily, so very different from the wicked goddess she was usually. Despite being crippled, or maybe because of it, she was nasty and lethal, striking out before someone could think to hurt her. “I feel…stiff.sore.”she said after a moment.

he smiled at her and he shook his head. "never fear, i don't have any plan that cannot be changed." he assured her. "you are here only to give me the few meals i need, and to be pampered." he assured her leaving her to rest, a little concerned about how little she had eaten. he braught more food when he came back and he smiled at her a little, amazed by how beautiful she was when she blushed. "your so beautiful." he admitted softly, his head tilted as he examined her. "Ayanna, Avalyn, Ayami, Cali, Callisto... anything that you like so far?" he asked, his head tilted before he snapped his fingers. "ah! i know." he got up and left the room at a trot before returning with a baby names book. "i never really thought this book would ever be useful again." he admitted with a small chuckle as he handed it to her. "look through that, see if you can find anything you like." he offered smiling at her. "do you want some pain killers or a hot pad fr your soreness?" he wondered if he should be doting on her THIS much? but then, he was lonely and she was hurt and afraid... why shouldn't he show her affection she needed?

Hel looked up at him, blushing even more at his words.’Thank you.”She muttered in response to his praise before shaking her head.”no…none of them.”she muttered frowning a little before giggling a little as he brought back the book. Settling it down on her legs so she could look through it, she paused thinking.”..a hot pad would be nice.”She said after a moment before going back to searching for a name before smiling brightly.”I have one!Fydra.”She muttered recognizing the norse goddess’ name, even if not consciously. Latching onto it because it was something familiar, even if she didn’t know why.

he smiled a little and left to get a heated pad, laying it carefully on the bed and then laying her on top of it so that the heat soaked into her legs and back and he gently laid another on top of her legs, his head tilted. "Fydra. beautiful." he murmured, nodding. "Fydra it is then." he stated calmly, taking the baby book and setting it out of her way. "you didn't eat much. so i brought you some more food." he told her, looking concerned at her. "i know you must be terribly confused. i will try to answer any questions you have, but i know very little of you." he admitted softly, his head tilted. "i am Mylakka by the way." he admitted, offering her a gentle smile. trying his hardest to not look intimidating or frightful. he was thankful that his Fangs where retractable. "is there anything that you want to know of me, or this place?"

Fydra sighed softly, relaxing as the heat eased aching muscles. Even if she couldn’t use her legs well, it was still terribly hard on the muscles as her body still tried to use them. Sighing softly as she bit her lip nodding. “IT is….very confusing.”She said before swallowing, smiling a little.”Mylakka, it is pretty.”She said before biting her lip a little.”Where am I?”She said even unaware of being a goddess, she sensed the difference between here and asgaard. Waiting for him to answer she started nibbling on food.

Mylakka smiled a little and nodded. "i can imagine so..." he admitted. "you are in England. a small area that is well developed in the northern part and undeveloped save for sheep farms and dairy in the southern parts." he admitted with a small amount of amusement. "i hold several small villagges... er, towns under my holdings." he admitted. "we call this area the Rosethorn. i have no idea why but that's what the locals call it these days." he admitted simply. "it is my territory and i protect it, and the people here do as i command... the few times that i command." he admitted. "mostly i just ignore them until i honestly need something." he admitted, waving a hand. "i myself am Lord Mylakka, owner of all these lands." the Vikings had conquered a large part of England, and it seamed that some of them had never left, or rather, one of them had never left.

Hel frowned as she considered that, before shaking her head as she closed her eyes nibbling on food. “I do not know where England is…but I will trust that you know where we are.”She sighed softly before nodding slightly.”Lord mylakka.I like it.”she muttered smiling a little at the sound of his name, before sighing softly,”I would like to try to walk….”She said opening her eyes to look at him

he smiled a little and nodded. "i do know where we are." he admitted simply. "alright." he agreed, offering her his hand and pausing when instead of getting to her feat, she seamed to crumple. "Fydra!? are you alright? are your legs damaged?" he asked, carefully helping her to stand back up, using his arms to support most of her weight. "shall i fetch a doctor for you?" he offered, looking concerned as he realized that his lovely Blood Slave was going to take a lot more maintenance than he anticipated, not that he cared. she was beautiful, and she smelled so good... he had a feeling that doting on her would never get boring, even if he had to carry her himself to wherever it was that she wanted to go. "rest in bed for a moment while i phone for a doctor." he ordered, carefully setting her back in bed, right back onto the hot pad and making sure she was comfortable before racing off to phone a doctor... he'd never had to phone a doctor before, he had to get the number from one of his servants who had broken their leg the month before. hopefully this doctor would know what to do. thankfully he was there soon, and before long Mylakka was leading a doctor in to Fydra to be looked over.

Fydra winced as he panicked, looking startled as her legs still crumbled under her.”I don’t know!I don’t hurt. Whats wrong?”She said looking panicky once she realized he had no idea what was going on with her either. Swallowing hard as she sat back in the bed before looking up at the doctor when the man arrived, tears shining in those wide dark eyes.”Doctor, can you tell me what is wrong?Mylakka tried to help me get up and my legs wont support me.”She said quickly, her panic having grown instead of abated at the sight of the doctor.

Mylakka quickly took her hand, holding it as the doctor nodded. "it's alright miss. i'll find out, no need to be so worried." the Doctor promised. Mylakka sat her on the edge of the bed and carefully pulled up her pants legs so that the doctor could examine the legs. the Doctor, Ryan McKinny carefully felt the legs, moved them about and tested the reflexes, frowning as he realized there where none and finally he nodded. "that's what i thought. it's not that there has been damage done to your legs young miss... you where simply born like this." he explained. "it's a genetic condition that you've had all your life, you just don't remember having it. complete Amnesia am i right? i'd like to do a few scan's on your head when your in less pain." he admitted to her. "i doubt the amnesia is permanent but it's best to be sure." he admitted.

"now, as to why your legs don't work. the Muscle and the bones are fine, it's the Ligaments that give you trouble. you can feel your legs because the nerves in your skin and muscles work, but the Ligaments in your leg are... dead, for lack of a better word. when you have your full strength, you should be able to stand on your own, and even walk very short distances on your own. there are ways we can help with this. there are leg braces that will hold your legs stiff for you, there are wheelchairs of course, and crutches can help you maneuver when you can't, or don't want to use the braces and the wheelchair." the doctor explained. "i can have all three items delivered to you today." he promised. "and i'll show you how to use each item safely... though the Wheelchair should be pretty self explanatory." he admitted with a small smile. "you'll have many muscle aches in your legs where your body will try to move them but be unable to. hot pads, warm baths, and light medication like ibeproven or aspirin can help with that. massaging them will also be very helpful with the pain." the doctor admitted and Mylakka nodded. "thank you doctor. i'll have her in for a head scan as soon as she's feeling up to moving around." Mylakka promised, glancing at Fydra. "well, it's good to know you aren't hurt. i was worried there for a moment." he admitted, shaking his head as he helped her settle back into bed, his head tilted. "are you alright?"

Hel looked up at the doctor as she swallowed hard.”O-okay.”she said stuttering a little as she tried to stay calm, before nodding a little.”Oh….well. That makes sense. If I cant remember having it, of course it would be weird.”She muttered looking upset but struggling to be calm. Swallowing hard before shifting to lean against mylakka, wanting the comfort before nodding.”I would like that. I am sure I can use some of them…”She said looking a little anxious at the idea what she would need to do to stay healthy before sighing quietly starting to cry.”I…I am fine.”she sniffled rubbing a hand over her face, embarrassed that she was so upset.

Mylakka wrapped an arm around her shoulders to offer her more comfort and nodded at what the Doctor was still saying. Mylakka looked surprised at the crying and shook his head. "no you are not fine." he muttered, pulling her into a tight hug and simply holding her, rocking her gently and wondering what was wrong with him. he usually fled at the first sign of tears and yet here he was offering her comfort and carefully wiping the tears away from her face. "there now, just cry it out. it will all be alright... i did promise to take care of you did i not? this won't change a thing, i shall do everything that i can to protect you and make you safe, healthy and happy." he promised her. well, at least he knew she couldn't run away from him... as terrible as that thought was.

“I am to.”She sniffled even as she snuggled into his arms, pressing her face against his chest. Hel wasn’t someone who usually sought out comfort, or wanted held, but she was scared, and she didn’t know what was going on, or who she was. So she clung to the one person who seemed to know what to do.Swallowing before she nodded.”You did.”She said looking up at him.

he smiled a little as he stroked her hair gently and shook his head a little. "that's right, i did. now cease those tears and i shall carry you to the garden where you can get some fresh air. smell some flowers, pick my prized roses, whatever you desire." he promised, grabbing the sheet off the bed and tugging it off so he could carry it with them and lay it on the dirt so she wouldn't get dusty or full of grass. he carefully gathered her into his arms and settled out into the bright sunlight where a beautiful garden was. massive, perfect purple, red, black, white, yellow, and blue roses where growing nilly willy it seamed. but they where all beautiful, and looked very carefully tended. there was a large fountain with a wide rim for sitting on which was where he settled her before he started spreading out the blanket. the weather had certainly cleared up since he had found her, it was beautiful and warm.

Hel swallowed drying off her face before smiling a little as he picked the the sheet and her, resting her head on his chest as they walked. Looking around the beautiful garden tears filled her eyes again, even if she wasn’t aware of why. Crying because somewhere, the goddess remembered that she had never been welcomed into fydra’s garden, or allowed to gaze on the beauty of asgard without being scorned for being her father’s daughter. Only thor, had ever shown any kindness to any of loki’s offspring.

“Its so pretty out here.”She muttered as she looked around her, dipping her fingers into the water, playing in it a little as he settled the blanket on the ground.

he smiled at her as she looked around the garden before frowning. "your crying again... whats wrong?" he asked softly, gently wiping her tears away, looking concerned and it was then that he knew it. this was no ordinary woman... he... liked her! maybe he would have to hold off on making her a blood servant... he couldn't stand to take blood from her without her permission, and that just didn't make sense to him. he smiled as he watched her play in the garden and reached out and picked a Blue Rose, carefully snipping the thorns off with a pocketknife before offering it to her. "even a rose pales to your beauty." he murmured softly, affectionately, hoping to cheer her up some.

“I-I don’t know!”Hel swallowed looking down, staring at her lap as she struggled to think. Absently rubbing the sore muscles in her thighs, swallowing hard as she calmed again, shaking her head.”It…it hurts. Looking at the flowers hurt for some reason.”She muttered before smiling as she took the flower from him, sniffing it daintly before blushing at his praise.”Thank you, mylakka. Though I think you are prettier.”

he nodded a little. "a bad memory perhaps?" he mused. "well, i will make this place a good memory for you." he decided, smiling at her. "you can help me pick them anytime you want. you can even help me take care of them if you want... not that they need much taking care of." he admitted with a shake of his head as he smiled at her. "ah but you simply have not seen yourself through my eyes." he stated softly, touching her chin and making her meet his eyes. "for there is nothing more beautiful and wonderful that i have ever seen. you make all of my delights and joys seam inconsequential." he admitted with a smile. "now, let me give you a massage, your legs must ache quite terribly after trying to stand up today." he admitted softly, gently settling a leg into his lap where he used deft and talented fingers to rub away the aches in her muscles. "tell me, Fydra... do you beleive in myth and legend?" he asked softly. wondering how she would take to the knowledge that he was a vampire.

“Maybe.”She muttered frowning a little before smiling at him.”Thank you. That would be lovely, to help grow them.’She said, the inner goddess well pleased at the idea of being able to take care of something so fragile and beautiful when her own kingdom was so cold. Flushing more as she met his eyes she swallowed before smiling a little.”You only say that because you found me all alone.”She muttered shrugging a little before sighing softly, pleasure filling her face as he rubbed her legs. Nodding a little. “I think I do.”she said a small frown crossing her face as she considered that.

he chuckled a little and nodded. "i can even clear some space for you to grow some other flowers too if you'd like. i think you would like Lilies, they're very beautiful, and Gardenias. maybe even a rhododendron." he admitted smiling at her as she protested. "i only say it, because it is truth." he stated calmly, working on her legs to help ease the pain. "you do?" he asked, hesitating. "well, perhaps i should tell you then." he mused, hesitating now before. "i was born on a Viking ship, as a viking." he admitted suddenly. "i was a marauder, one of the few brave warriors who went out and conquered other lands." he explained. "i don't know the year we landed in England, we didn't put much stock into it, but we landed in England, and i immidiatly carved out an area of land just for myself." he admitted, smiling at her. "it was mine, and i let no one touch, or take it... i have lived for several hundred years now." he admitted. "for i was not born as a human, but as a Vampire." he explained, setting her legs down so that she could fight him off if she felt the desire to. "i am a Vampire Fydra."
