The Manor. Seeking male/male persona to play the young, mysterious but charismatic owner.

Hello. Greetings. My name is SHARPii or Esha if you like. Either is fine with me. It’s been a while since I’ve put any request out there but I find that this idea I have is far too potent to not send a request out to anyone willing.

Let me simply preface this that I do not care if you are a male or a female playing a male. I thought I’d clarify that now. ^^

Anyways, on to the good stuff!

I read this book and the basic premise is of this woman who does interior design for a living. She’s been commissioned to do the furnishings of this beautiful structure called The Manor. She thinks it’s a hotel, a very nice and luxurious hotel. Unknown to her, it’s not a hotel and when she meets the owner, a man in his thirties, a very handsome man, she is intrigued. She had never wanted anyone as bad as she wanted this man and the feeling is mutual. They must have each other. But the underlying questions remains; who is this man, what is this place and what exactly has she gotten herself into?

Now for my revamped version of the idea so I am not biting off the brilliant author of that series…

Harper Collins was new in town, having secured a job as a teacher at the resident elementary school. She is now a fifth grade teacher, fresh out of college. She had great marks from her professors and even better recommendations for the job so it’s no surprise that she landed a job so quickly, fresh out of college and all. Honestly, it was expected of her. She is that great and she takes her job seriously. She always adored children and by her reasoning, fifth grade was the best year of her life, why not give it back? Pay it forward?

At the same time, she now lives in a two bedroom and two bathroom apartment, a really nice place to be quite honest with an expensive rent. The woman she lives with, they became friends instantly but the rent wasn’t knocked down. Her teacher’s salary wouldn’t exactly cover much since she intended for most of it to go to paying student loans. That left very little to pay rent and live off of. So her new roommate suggested something.

This is when Harper Collins learns that her roommate is a high end escort. To help her out for a year, she suggests that she come with her to this party at a place called The Manor. She won’t be expected to sleep with anyone but simply entertain. At this point, Harper is desperate, at least until she starts saving the more she does get paid. After all, she’s just started teaching. From her savings in school, she has enough to cover the first two months of rent and the down payment, as well as her latest school loan payment but after that, she’s left destitute, needing to wait until her first paycheck. Until then, what harm is there to be a fancy girl for one night?

So she goes. They both are extravagantly dressed and upon arriving at the place, they wear masks. Everyone does. The night goes on, Harper turns out to be quite the charmer which is a shocker even to herself and catches the eye of a single man, Hawthorne Tisch (name subject to change depending on partner. Flexible, really). They talk, they flirt and there’s an undeniable chemistry, pull and connection between them. When it comes down to it though, he pulls back from her, saying to her he is dangerous and she should stay away, for her sake. If anything, this only pulls her into him even more. He says things to her, charms her, flirts with her in spite of the warning and she eats it all up. The night ends and she asks to see him again. He says no.

She doesn’t hear from him again. Until a week later, she goes back to The Manor. She doesn’t know his name. He doesn’t know hers. He didn’t know what she looked like outside of the mask and neither did she. She didn’t even know he was the owner. They meet, but like two complete strangers meeting for a second time. That’s when she finds out he’s the owner.

“Nice hotel.” She says softly.
He has to hold back a reaction of amusement. She thought this was a hotel?
“Thank you.”
“What is your name?”
“What is yours?”
“I asked first.”
He takes a step to her, his eyes bearing deep into hers and her mouth goes dry.
“Harper.” He grins. He knows who she is. She doesn’t know who he is. He wouldn’t forget that mouth anywhere.
”What is yours?”
“You ask too many questions Harper.”
“Please.”

If you can follow to that ^^
I’d love to do this. It’s basically she’s stepping into a world she never knew by meeting this man. He might be right. He probably is dangerous. But she can’t stay away and when he realizes that, he figures it’s a little game, why not play? What he doesn’t take into account is how he’ll actually feel for her. Many lies, many things unsaid about him. He has to tell her. But how?

Until then, it’s a game of cat and mouse. He’s the mouse, she’s the cat and he’s all too willing to play along. He sees a beautiful single woman. He’s a man after all, that can’t be denied. So he goes for it. And she’s too caught up in him to realize he’s playing her. No longer is he warning her off. No longer is she yearning for the man she met at the party. She found someone better.

Will her tell her though? The truth about The Manor, about him, about everything?

PM me for details ^^
And I shall reveal what The Manor really is.
