Dani sighed as her walked next to her large black mare, the beat up leather reigns hanging loosely in her fingers. They had been traveling for quite sometime…so much so that she did not want to burden the animal any longer with her weight. While she herself was not all that heavy, the dragon-scale armor and claymore strapped to her back were.

She was tall, standing at almost 6ft, and broad shouldered, filling out the armor nicely. Dani was an incredibly strong young woman, used to the weight of the armor and sword…feeling naked without them. But today was rather hot and miserable. The only relief she had given herself was to keep her helmet off and store it with the rest of the gear that the horse carried.

The young woman looked very much like a clean shaven boy. Her black hair was cut short in a boyish fashion, her bright blue eyes were piercing and intense…looking as though they belonged to a man who had seen his share of conflict. The only femininity she had was her jawline that was a little more on the delicate side.

The sun was beginning to sink lower and lower into the summer sky…she’d have to set up camp soon. The young Dragon Slayer had been hoping to ride through this particular area that was littered with bandits without stopping. Maybe if she rode for awhile she could make it into town by morning.

Up ahead, Dani might be able to see one of the infamous bandit camps, formed under a large hill. It's pretty small, with only about twenty bandits, but it can be seen by the large fire set up. There's a small wooden fence around it, and the bandits are currently in their tents, asleep. However there is screaming that can be heard coming out of the largest tent, and two guards stand watch, armed with spears.

Dani's ears perked at the screaming. She left her horse, Ammon, away from the camp so that her clacking hooves wouldn't give them away. She grabbed her bow and arrow from her gear and donned her helmet. Usually she merely hunted game with her bow, favoring the more personal touch of her claymore when it came to fighting.

But now it came in handy as she snuck around the fence to find a good position. Two arrows were delivered...the first one hitting it's target true and instantly killing him. The second one...not so much.

"Intruders! Intruders!" he managed to cry out before Dani silenced him with a third arrow.

Men in their underwear and pajamas don't make good fighters. The young woman entered the camp and as the bandits tried to swarm her, they quickly found they were no match. "Dragon Slayer!" some of them cried in fear, leaving the battleground all together. Still, others stayed, young men too stupid and proud to run.

Dani seemed to dance as she wielded the claymore. The weapon was heavy, her body needed to twist and contort to manipulate it's forward momentum causing the slaughter to be quite graceful...at least on her part.

When all her opponents were taken care of, the young warrior began to search the camp. Wondering where the hell that screaming had been coming from.
