Rising to Power (Tails and I)

Now weeks later Lillian walked in brown slacks with bandage wrapped tightly around her thigh, another underneather, the top kept her from bleeding freely and kept her from reopening the wound. Her long snow white hair was braided back from her lightly tanned face with her emerald eyes sparkling. Her hour glass figure was basically hidden under her loose tunic. In a few more weeks she'd be crowned Ruler but she was getting her mind wrapped around her father's death. She never got to see the man who killed her father but she did see his eyes when she battled with him. It felt like he was toying with her.

The day was growing dark with the sound of thunder overhead. The scent of rain hit her nose which turned her attention to see the horses bring brought in. Among them was a golden stallion and behind him was a pregnant white mare. Lillian smiled as the mare nuzzled the stallion like a lover for life would. Her heart ached at the site of this. Sighing softly she turned heading inside to grab a bath.

For the few weeks of her healing she had grown bored with the hand stitching, painting, lessons. She loved fighting! She loved how sore she'd get after every training session she had but she became stronger for it. Walking down the dark hall as lightning flashed outside the windows which lite the hallways in a brillant white flash of light. Reaching the washroom of hers, she didn't lock the door, when she entered she removed her boots and her pants and soon her tunic came off with her royal birth mark showing. A black cresent moon on her lower back. When she was born her father declared his daughter, his newborn daughter, was touched by the gods because of the birthmark. Lillian never believed in gods and she had her reasons to do so. Once she removed any clothe she sat down inspecting her wounds seeing she didn't reopen the burned shut cut. Smiling as she got up and slowly stepped into the hot spring water.
