You gotta guess!
Nobody offered to take her, no one at all. All of the other kids were special... but not Krista. She was dumped off at the orphanage when she was just a year old. Now she was 16 and finally having a family of her own. The looks she carried she didn't believe were anything special. She had light brown hair, blue eyes, a curved but non stick figure and her hair covered her left eye a lot. Krista didn't believe she was very beautiful at all so she liked to cover her face.

She waited outside the orphanage building to see what her new family would be like. Hopefully she would accepted without question. Maybe she could have a sibling. One of Krista's deepest wishes was to have a sibling... perhaps a brother. A younger brother would be perfect for her since she loved kids. For hours she had been waiting and will wait...

The Monroes came to get Krista, as they really were wanting to bring her home. They were late because they were having to get things ready, and because they had to convince their adult son, Richard, not to move out just yet. They needed his help as their eight year old son, Paul, would need help getting used to having a sister. Richard was the one who could get Paul to cooperate with things when he was in his worst moods, not that they were that frequent, but still he didn't yet show the signs of if he was accepting Krista's inclusion to the family or not.

They drove up in front of the orphanage, Stacy and George Monroe getting out and smiling. They were very happy to see her, and they came up and hugged her to let her know she was very much welcome and wanted.

When her new family came to get her, Krista stared for a while and gave a small smile. Carrying her bag she walked towards the car and hugged them back. Maybe this was a good family for her after all and if they were, she would love to be included and finally have some sort of family. As Krista took her bag into the car and buckled herself in, she sat next to their oldest son but said nothing, as she was very shy.

Krista looked at him with curiosity. She knew this was her new older brother and he would treat her with respect, as least she automatically knew so. Her thoughts swirled in her head over and over as she looked at him. Finally Krista spoke to him.

"Umm... hello."
