God she hated him.

Even lying on the floor in a pool of his own blood he still stared up at her with leering eyes. Lera drew her heeled foot upwards before smashing it down upon the man’s face. “Stop gawking, it’s rude.” She snarled at the body. The man’s body when limp, slumping over and folding easily in half.

Lera eyed the apartment, aside from the bloody mess in front of her, it was pristine. Odd for a middle aged man she would admit, but it wasn’t a trait she disliked.

And there were a lot of things she disliked in this world.

He had taken her home. Correction. She had allowed him to take her home. Men like him really weren’t her type. He was a well-to-do sort of man dressed in expensive threads, but came to the wrong bar looking for a way to burn a hole in his pocket with cheap drinks. That’s where James met Lera. She wasn’t a looker, at least not by her standards. She wasn’t showy with her clothing, no low cut shirts, no tight skirts – clothing like that didn’t allow her to work properly anyways. She only wore a black tank top, jeans, and black boots. But what had caught James’ attention from the woman were her striking eyes. Lera’s hair had been chopped short, just above her shoulders; her curly brown hair would’ve touched her skin if it ever straightened. Freckled cheeks, and a slim build, she looked ‘average’, but Lera’s eyes… She had heterochromia which left her with one green eye and one dull brown eye.

It wasn’t the first time a man opened up about her odd eyes as a conversation starter, but this man was willing to spend quite a bit of dough on the woman, and she wouldn’t say no to a couple of glasses of brandy.

They were both drunk, he was singing, leaning on her – she was supporting him. With a Russian mother, and a Ukrainian father, it was safe to say Lera could hold her alcohol, but she feigned the toxicity of alcohol. Laughed, sang – even staggered and slurred when they approached his apartment. But then, he changed. Fucking was fucking in Lera’s mind, men came and went, and women were sweet treats here and there. She had sex when she felt like it, she let a man treat her to drinks and he took her home – she left in the morning and they never spoke again. But this man was different, he grasped her wrists, kissed her, sloppy kisses that trailed saliva from her lips down her neck. She felt repulsed. And then he got rough, he hit her, just a single strike that caught her off guard.

That was his second mistake.

His first was ever letting her into the apartment in the first place.

She wiped the spittle from her cheek after he struck her, and she pulled back, only her head, before whipping forward, knocking the drunken man from his stupor. “What the fuck!?” He stumbled backwards clutching his head, groaning in pain. “You bitch! You don’t know how well you got it!”

“I know well enough!” Lera snarled, “You don’t hit a woman. Especially not a classy woman.” In the few seconds James could regain his composure, she had charged him, ramming her entire frame into his abdomen and knocking him clean off of his feet. Straddling the drunken man’s torso Lera laughed loudly, a crazed laugh, but it had nothing but pure happiness. She loved that look, the look James gave her, one of shock and pure horror. “You don’t hit women buddy. Society thinks we’re weaker than you just ‘cause we don’t have a dick. But eh, who needs them right? They’re nothin’ but a liability.”

Two shots. One in the mouth. And one in the family jewels.

No one really prized jewelry when they found out they were fake anyways.
Lera had wiped down the apartment, cleaned off her gun, and pocketed it into her back pocket. The neighbors were out, date night, and no one resided in the upstairs apartment. All that Lera left was a carefully written note, she had grabbed a paper towel before touching the pen before writing in a semi-neat scrawl:

“Welcome Home.”

His wife found him at approximately 4:27 A.M.

After years of being neglected his wife looked down upon her husband, and waited until morning to call the cops.

It was early in the morning when the precinct received the call. Officers arrived on the scene immediately to check out what had happened, unfortunately no one in their right mind would let a rookie officer process the scene or touch anything, hell the only thing those boys in blue were there to do was confirm there was a murder in the home.

"We need the homicide unit and CSI here now" ,one of the officers said into his radio.

Aries grumbled from underneath her bed sheets as her phone rang off the hook. She slowly sat up and answered it before lighting up a cigarette. After receiving the news about the murder she slipped on some jeans and a pair of work boots before walking out the door and getting into her car.

It was around 9 am when Aries arrived on the scene, she didn't look like a cop at all, she was rugged and looked as if she belonged in a rock band not on a police force, yet she was one of if not the best homicide detectives the force had. Aries reeked of old booze and cigarettes from the night before, she hated these early morning calls, not being able to shower before heading to work always bothered her.

When she walked into the house she took one look at the man on the floor and then proceeded to look at the room around him. She watched as CSI processed the scene and collected evidence then she made her way over to the man's wife.

"Ma'am I have to ask you a few questions about your husband, maybe we can find out who did this and put them away" ,Aries told the woman.

The man's wife simply nodded her head in agreement letting Aries know it was alright to ask questions. Kasey looked the woman over and studied her reactions and body language not ruling her out as a potential suspect just yet. She knew damn well it was possible that the wife could've killed the man herself she had seen cases like this quite a few times. Just then the coroner confirmed the time of death and Aries looked to the man's wife and quirked a brow.

"According to the information I've received you called us a few hours after your husband was killed and by the looks of it you've had a decent nights sleep, forgive me if I'm wrong but I believe you found him and simply went off to bed" ,Aries began before making one of the rookies go and grab her a coffee. "Tell me why in the world would you wait so long to call us and how in the world did you even sleep knowing that your husband was lying dead on the floor?" ,Aries continued.

The woman swallowed hard then looked at Aries with anger, "I can admit that I don't give a damn that he is dead but I didn't do it, yes I found him early this morning but sleep was more important to me then that prick getting any kind of justice" ,the woman responded before bursting into tears. It was clear that her and her former husband didn't have the greatest relationship and Aries decided to back off the woman for a moment.

"That'll be all for now ma'am" ,Aries stated before walking away to look around some more.

She let out a sigh then ran her fingers through her hair as she did so she spotted the note. "Welcome Home" ,she read quietly to herself. She didn't touch the paper making sure not to leave finger prints on it. "Get me a bag and some tweezers I want this dusted for prints" ,she told one of the CSI officers. The officer carefully picked the note up with the tweezers and put it into an evidence bag. Aries then turned to the man's wife once more, "Ma'am do you know if your husband went anywhere last night? Maybe with some friends? Do you have any information that may help us solve this case?" ,she asked.

"He goes to a local bar about four blocks from here, he likes to pick up women while I'm busting my ass at work, go ask the bartender maybe he knows something" ,the man's wife replied bitterly.

Aries turned around and rolled her eyes before making her way out the door. One of the officers stopped her to ask where she was going, "To the bar" ,Kasey stated simply before getting into her car and driving off.

When she walked into the bar she looked around before walking up to the bartender and whipping out a photo of the victim, "Hey pal was this guy in here last night?" ,she asked.

The bartender cringed at the photo before telling Aries all about James. After hearing the man's story Aries was almost certain that James' murderer was a female but she wasn't going to make that a definite yet, she still had to collect more evidence before making any definite decisions. The woman sat down for a moment to collect herself and think, she really couldn't do anything until CSI processed all the evidence they collected from the scene so she figured she would relax for a moment before heading out again.

Comfort. She sought comfort. Things she was used to, things she knew.

Things aside from murder anyhow.

Perhaps I shouldn’t have left that note, she mused silently to herself as she headed home. Her ‘home’ was an apartment building in possibly the worst part of town where hookers tainted the streets with promises of cheap sex – sex that Lera was sure she could offer for free, and would still be better, and safer. Unlocking her door, Lera sighed angrily as she slammed her shoulder into the door, forcing the door open – damn lock always jammed. “I’m hooooooome!” She called to no one in particular. Lera didn’t have someone to come home to, which was probably why she despised that man so much the night before. She saw his wedding ring – no wonder his apartment was so clean, no man was that fucking clean unless they had a woman in their life. Though, as Lera eyed her apartment, she smirked – she definitely wasn’t a man, but she sure kept house like one.

The apartment was small, which meant the clutter Lera had already over powered the small space. Porno mags for both males and females alike scattered across the couch, and her tables. There was no rotting food except for in the garbage, and there was never any food in her fridge. Her couch was the only thing she truly liked, and often times Lera opted to sleep on that rather than her own bed. It was a bright red couch, and had a bright contract compared to the bleary apartment.

Flopping into the couch, Lera hugged the upholstery close to her face and grinned stupidly. “Last night was a good night.” Pursing her lips carefully, Lera ground her hips into the couch. She hadn’t gotten the good fuck she had wanted the night before, and now she was feeling it. She certainly wasn’t a nympho, but she had expectations and when they weren’t met, she still held them. She didn’t change them.

When dry humping her couch didn’t seem to be enough, Lera pawed blindly at her back pocket and pulled out her phone, flipping through the few contacts she had before deciding on one. “Lucy?”

“What?” The tired voice resonated from her phone.

“Lucy, baby – wanna help a gal out?” Lera purred sweetly into her phone. One moment she was tired, the next moment she was randy – Lera was an emotional roller coaster, and could switch at the drop of a hat. That was her ‘normal’.

“Fuck off. I worked late last night.”

“Baby you’re being so cold.” Lera’s legs hung off the side of her couch. “C’mon, no one takes care of me as well as you do.”

“Was that you?”

“Hm?”

“I think I saw your work.”

“How?”

“I saw you at the bar last night. You had that look in your eyes.”

“You know me too well.” Lera smiled lazily her head lolling to the side. “It was art Lucy, you have no idea. That bastard deserved it though, had a wife at home. He wore his ring to the bar and everything.” Lera justified herself. He was a bastard, he mistreated his wife – he at the very least deserved to have his balls shot off. “Our fuckin’ justice system is fucked. I’m bringing my own form of justice! Servin’ it up cold.”

“You don’t know a thing about justice Lera.”

“Lucy?”

“Yeah?”

“Shut up, I’d rather get drunk than fuck you anyways.”

And Lera got, very drunk indeed.

[Because we all know that alcohol just makes you wanna kill a bitch sometimes. XD

Also, isn't Lera such a charmer?]

Aries sat at the bar for a moment simply thinking of what her next move would be. As she sat she looked around at the few patrons that were there and wondered if anyone of them were there to witness the woman the bartender spoke about leave with James. She decided to get up and make her way over to a table with a group of people sitting at it. Just as she was about to start questioning the door to the bar opened and one of her former partners walked in. Aries despised the man and he was one of the reasons she preferred to work alone, he was a prick in every sense of the word and whenever he was around she wanted to wrap her hands around his neck and choke the life out of him.

"Well Aries you must feel right at home here, drinking on the job eh? Wonder what your boss will think about that" ,the man said with a smirk on his face. "You know maybe we can work something out, you dress like a woman, let me take you out then end the night with some alone time if you catch my drift".

Aries rolled her eyes and a look of disgust came over her face, damn he knew how to piss her off. She looked to the group of people at the table then to the man who was now nearly breathing down her neck. He was so fucking thick headed and wouldn't except the fact that she just didn't like men plus he was dead set on gays being wrong so he never let up.

"Fuck off Derek I'm working why don't you go try and bribe one of those hookers up on State street for some cuz' you're not gonna get anywhere with me" ,Aries spat angrily. "Oh and there's this thing called personal space and I'd like you to get the fuck out of mine" ,she continued before shoving Derek hard in the chest making him stumble backwards. "Fucking loser".

"You know you'd look really nice if you would just grow your hair out and be a woman, I mean the lesbian fad is alright but it's gotta end somewhere am I right?" ,Derek retorted as he looked around the bar for some approval from the customers. He then closed the gap between himself and Aries and whispered into her ear, "Give me five minutes with you and you won't want to be a fag anymore".

Aries gritted her teeth as she moved away from the man and made her way over to the group of people she had wanted to talk to before Derek came in. Derek the asshole that he was followed her like a lost fucking puppy and wouldn't leave her side even when she threw hints like bricks that she didn't want him anywhere near her. When she reached the table she pulled out the photo of James and began questioning, she went about things the way she normally would ignoring Derek's presence for the moment. As soon as she figured out that James did indeed leave with a woman she turned and began to walk out of the bar, that's when it happened. A hard slap to her backside courtesy of Derek. The man had never went that far before and Aries was going to make sure he didn't make the mistake again. Within a few seconds Derek was laying flat on his back on the bar floor, Aries was glaring at him as he wiped the blood from his nose and the patrons in the bar were cheering.

"You fucking dyke I can't believe you hit me, wait until I tell your boss about this good luck finding another job" ,Derek snapped.

Aries then leaned down and grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and stared directly into his eyes, "Go ahead and try to fuck me over you piece of shit I'm sure my uncle would love to hear about how you just sexually harassed me on the job you seem to forget you work for my family and if you pull any shit like that again I'll shoot your fucking dick off" ,she snapped in response before slamming him to the ground and walking out the door.

When outside she made her way towards her car and got in to drive back to the scene when she got there she walked into the house and straight to one of the CSI officers. "I think our suspect is female so we need to find evidence to confirm there was another female in this house other then anyone in James' family understood I still want a full sweep of the house but unless you guys find anything that goes against it being a female then I want to focus on that" ,she told the officer who simply nodded. "James left the bar with a woman last night I want to know who that woman was and I want officers at that bar tonight to see if she comes back if she does the bartender has agreed to point her out to us".

Later that night Aries decided to go to the bar with one other officer to see if the woman returned, she knew it was going to be a long night and that she couldn't drink just in case the woman did show up and she had to question her. She sat at the bar sipping on a glass of juice chatting it up with a few people to pass the time if the woman didn't show up Aries was going to be there until the place closed and sitting in a bar until closing without drinking a sip of alcohol was a damn tease so she had to occupy her time somehow.

She had refrained from getting drunk the night before, or at the very least, her body resisted the alcohol, but Lera easily overcame her tolerance and drank herself into a stupor. Considering how much alcohol she had consumed the night before - Lera nearly doubled the amount of toxic drinks in an attempt to escape her brutal reality. “Lucy in the skkyy-ai-ai with di-uh-muunnds..” She was singing off key. And it was loud. She was singing loudly in off key, hell she didn’t even realize she was singing or that she was in front of Lucy’s apartment.

Lucy was a prostitute to say the least. She always promised herself it would just be ‘one more client’, but whoever kept those types of promises to themselves were just lying. Lucy came from a well-to-do family, not rich, but not poor, but definitely on the upper side of just middle class. Her parents were both business types, leaving poor little Lucy at home – left to her own devices, but like every teenage girl Lucy rebelled. But unlike all of the other girls her age, Lucy rebelled hard. She turned to drugs, smoking, injecting whatever shiny, crystalized substance she could get her filthy hands into her petite run down body. Then when drugs no longer did it for her –she turned to sex, using the power of her body to get more drugs. One addiction fueled the other and when one wasn’t fueling the other, Lucy crashed hard. She fell off the world - she got violent, insatiable to fuel her needs – that’s where she met Lera.

Lera had killed off her corner competition, she never figured out why, but the look in Lera’s eyes – the utter calm but yet, fulfilled look – Lucy wanted it. She wanted the contented feeling of completion, something she never felt. They hit it off, Lera gave her all the sex she wanted, on fire escapes, up against dumpsters behind bars – it didn’t matter where they were, they were together. It wasn’t love; it was one toxic relationship of a push and pull. But they didn’t care, they had the world in front of them – they would dominate it together.

Then he came in.

“LUCY!!!!” Lera belted out the name, her hands slamming sloppily against the door. “Lucy! Open up baby! I’m sorry! Luuuuuuuuccy!”

“What?” The disheveled female opened the door. She only wore a men’s work shirt, that barely covered her bum, much less her haphazardly shaven lady bits that she left exposed to any passerby that walked by her open door. “The entire neighborhood can hear you. What do you want? You also reek of booze...”

“I told you it’d be more fun to get drunk.” Lera sneered, but she leaned forward, grasping Lucy’s delicate face in her hands, and enveloping the woman in what she felt was a sweet kiss, but in reality was just a sloppy puckering of the woman’s lips pressed against the prostitute’s face.

“Get off of me Lera. I have to get ready for work, and you know he’s not going to like that you’re here.”

“That fucker is here?”

“LUCY? Who’s at the door?” The voice bellowed from the musty apartment, and soon behind Lucy stood a portly gentleman – if one could even call him such. This was the man Lera despised, the man Lucy had sworn her life to, had basically given her life as tribute, to allow herself to be used and sold at his own leisure. She was nothing – to him, to Lera.. She was nothing more than just an item. Something that could be used, bought, traded…

Broken.

--

Accident she wrote on one.

Lera looked down at the body of Lucy. Her lips were such a pretty color of red, but it wasn’t from her lipstick. Lera had reached down, dipping her fingertips into the freshly oxidized red blood of her lover, and had painted the girl’s lips. “You were so pretty, you were going to go to college, get us out of here… You promised me better things, but without you – I fall only farther.” She cupped the woman’s face gently. Lucy was a red head, pretty red hair that was always oily and tied back into a bun. Hot water was ‘expensive’, Lucy’s showers were always limited, so she always reeked of perfume, and even then, all Lera could smell was the sickly sweet smell of roses.

She hadn’t been careful with these kills, she was drunk – she wore only one set of gloves, and her fingertips smudged across the card she scribbled her notes on. She stepped upon the man’s body as if it were nothing more than carpet. Even as he groaned his last breaths under her weight, Lera pressed down harder – she blamed him for Lucy’s death, if she hadn’t moved in front of the bullet, if he hadn’t stolen her in the first place, none of this would have ever happened. Even as she leaned over, pressing one final kiss to Lucy’s forehead, and tucking the note under the woman’s body, Lera could only feel hatred towards the man she stood upon. But even that feeling only lasted mere moments, before Lera simply backed up her things – and left.

On the second note: Murder, she wrote.

The bar became packed throughout the night but not once did the bartender point anyone out it was getting aggravating and by the time the bar closed Aries was bored out of her mind and she still didn't have a face for her suspect. The bartender apologized for her having to sit there all night for nothing but Aries barely heard the man as she walked out the door. When she got home she crashed hard and in the morning when her phone rang off the hook again she almost didn't hear it. Aries growled loudly as she threw her covers off she then picked up her phone and groggily answered.

"Hello" ,she said as she stood up from her bed. She was about to make a pot of coffee when her uncle's voice came through the phone.

"Aries we got a double homicide over here and there's two more notes left on the bodies" ,he told her.

"Have a cup of coffee ready for me I'm coming now and make sure Derek isn't there or you'll have another homicide on your hands" ,Aries replied as she put on a blue button up with a pair of jeans and her boots.

"Aries just get down here"! ,her uncle stated with a stern tone.

Aries hung up the phone then grabbed her car keys and made her way out the door. When she got into the car she put on a pair of sunglasses and lit a cigarette before driving off in the direction of the new crime scene. She stepped out of the car and stomped her cigarette out at the end of the driveway before walking inside.

"Alright what do we have here?" ,Aries asked.

"Two vics one male and one female, both appear to be shot and apparently the girl was an accident" ,one of the CSI officers on the scene told her.

"Alright bag both of the notes and get those bullets, I wanna know what kind of gun they came from and I want this place dusted for fingerprints if the girl was an accident it means the killer got sloppy and we may find something" ,Aries told the man who nodded his head in agreement.

Aries walked around the apartment looking for anything, anything that would give her some kind of lead, then she looked at the man lying on the floor. His shirt was crumpled but not crumpled in the way that shirts usually crumple up from everyday activities. There was a shoe print, it was damn near impossible to see but it was definitely there.

"Get that shoe imprint if you can" ,Aries told the CSI officer collecting evidence around the body.

"What imprint?" ,he asked with a look of confusion on his face.

Aries removed her sunglasses then leaned down, "The one on his chest" ,she whispered before standing up straight and walking off.

"How the hell...." ,the officer began but before he could finish his sentence Aries was gone.

She decided to drive back to the bar and sit for a little bit, maybe the woman would show up during the day for some odd reason and Aries would get lucky with a lead, she doubted it but one could hope. When she walked into the bar she headed straight for the bartender and took a seat directly in front of him.

"Give me something that looks like alcohol I wanna blend in in case this woman shows up, we're gonna have an officer here everyday to find out who the women is that left with James the other night" ,Aries informed the bartender who slid a glass of iced tea towards her with ice in it. "Looks like my usual good job" ,Aries told the man before taking a sip. Her eyes kept looking over towards the door every time it opened and every time a female patron would walk in Aries would look to the bartender for either a conformation or a no.

She killed her.

Oh god, she killed her.

Lera wasn’t sure what was surging through her body emotionally – but hormonally she knew it was adrenaline. The one person in her life whom she had actually put time and – love? No, it wasn’t love, but it was something to Lera. She was dead. Even as she staggered back to her apartment, she grasped her head, trying to get the picture of Lucy’s beautiful face from her mind. In reality, Lucy wasn’t all that pretty, she had a small gap between her front teeth, an incident that happened when she was sixteen and first met that sleazebag, she disobeyed him, and he punched her. One never punches women in the face as it bruises the ‘product’, but all he did was loosen her two front teeth, which over the years, without proper dental care caused a small gap. Her face was always splotchy, even as a natural red head, she had freckles, but those never showed through her skin, she was never eating healthy and it showed.

But to Lera, she was beautiful.

Stepping into the shower, Lera could hardly remember how she got through the front door or the fact that – fuck, she forgot to remove her clothes. Cussing loudly Lera removed her clothing, tossing each article out of her shower, listening to it slap loudly onto the ground of her bathroom floor. Watching the water go down the drain, Lera sighed, when she had she gotten so filthy? The water was tinged light brown as it disappeared down the drain. In reality, but Lera couldn’t recognize in her drunken stupor was that the water was tinged with old blood from her clothing. That’s why she wore black tank tops, blood wasn’t visible on it.
When she felt as clean as she could possibly feel, Lera stepped out and looked around. Her apartment held no traces of a life lived, just thrown about wrapped condoms, magazines – she looked like a lonely bachelor, she had nothing personal in her apartment. It was hard to imagine a woman like her ever had a family of her own, but she did once.

Her family wasn’t a rich family, they were borderline poor, but she had two loving parents and an older brother. They were always moving, but as long as Lera was in the comfort of her family’s arms, she was happy. She was a happy child, albeit odd, she had a thing about animals – she liked going to the park, and looking for dead birds to bring home. What her parents didn’t know about their loving little girl was that she liked to look at the insides. She used to watch crime television on the set on the weekends when her parents were out and her brother was out looking for work to help support the family – he was seven years older than Lera, which meant the little girl was often left to her own devices at home. But when she watched those shows, she always identified with the killer, most of the time they were right-

That person, that corpse, that victim- they deserved it.

Every bit of it.

When Lera was twenty two, her parents died in a car crash – it was a tragic car accident, a drunk driver swerved into their car, and oddly enough, though it left both of her parents dead – he staggered out nearly unharmed. But at the scene of the crime, when Lera looked over the released notes, the “killer” had left a note:

I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to.

That’s when it all started. Lera took a year to herself, reading up on law, psychology – any book that could make her smarter, learn more. What did cops look at scenes? What did she had to be careful about? What could they, and couldn’t they trace? Anything that would make her ‘invisible’. She just wanted to be a killing force, not a female killer. And a year and a half after her parents’ death, she found the man, and killed him – no one was ever convicted of the death of the father of four. The last time she had ever seen her brother was at the funeral, but after that, he had disappeared out of Lera’s life. Sometimes she liked to think he found a woman, got married – and he was happy.

Because at twenty eight years, Lera didn’t even know what ‘happy’ meant.

Happy to Lera was a glass of brandy at the bar. Happy was sitting next to a pretty woman at the bar. Happy was soliciting what she didn’t know to be Aries for sex. Because sex was the closest thing to happy she could get. Sex made her forget.

Woman after woman came in and the bartender gave the same response over and over again, Aries was starting to get aggravated and was about to rip her hair out of her head. Just then a woman came up to her and began to hit on her, it was getting late and Aries was tempted to say the least. The detective hadn't had sex in a long time due to overtime at work. She looked the woman over and had to admit that she was beautiful.

After a little while Aries decided to get herself a drink not caring that she was still on the job, she needed it and there was another officer in the bar that could keep a look out if she decided to up and leave with the woman. She sipped her drink as the woman continued to make passes at her, she smiled and laughed as she talked letting her know she was interested. Aries even bit her bottom lip a few times something that was rare for the woman to do.

Finally Aries made up her mind and took the woman by the hand, "Let's get out of here" ,she stated before standing up and motioning for the woman to follow her to her car. When Aries got to her car she leaned against it and lit up a cigarette, taking a nice long drag before blowing the smoke out slowly as she waited for the woman. Aries wanted, no, she needed this and she was ready to go and hoped the woman she had just met was too.

She wasn’t quite sure what she told Aries. She told stories, whether they were true or not, Lera really couldn’t remember. Stories about when she was little, stories about her life, and the many jobs she had held – jack of all trades, master of none. But it not once did she mention anything to do with the murders – she drunk, she wasn’t stupid. But every now and again, when the conversation lulled she would interject with awkward pauses how pretty she thought Aries was, and that woman like her shouldn’t be in a bar, but receiving flowers somewhere…

Because pretty women deserved pretty flowers.

In reality, the passes Lera made were terrible, but they seemed to have worked, because before Lera knew it, she was following the woman to her car. “I used to know a girl like you…” She murmured quietly to herself and to the air rather than directly at Aries. She was referring to Lucy – while they looked nothing alike, and the paths they chose were entirely separate, there was something about Aries that had Lera thinking about Lucy, but even in her drunken stupor, the only thing Lera could feel clearly was numbness.

Sliding into the passenger seat, Lera let out a small sigh inspecting her attire. For all she remembered, and cared for that matter, she could’ve walked out without clothes instead of the tank top and jeans she wore. She didn’t even realize that she wore the same heeled boots she had worn to Lucy’s apartment – but it wasn’t as if they were dirty – they weren’t dirty were they? Lera looked down and smirked at her own paranoia. They were perfectly clean, she hadn’t stepped in blood, just on a piece of shit if anything – a piece of shit that called himself a pimp. She didn’t even remember changing after her shower – she had been drunk nearly 90% of the day, and even a murderer like Lera had some standards for herself. She wasn’t an alcoholic, but it made the day pass by so quickly… That even though it wasn’t something she was fond of, Lera had no regrets about: 1. Barely sleeping after a midnight murder, 2. Getting drunk because she forgot Lucy was no longer hers, 3. Killing Lucy and her fuckin’ pimp 4. Drinking more after that, and finally 5. Picking up a woman at the bar because she didn’t want to go home to an empty apartment.

No regrets at all.

Lera’s actions were sluggish and unpredictable, and before she knew it, before she had even buckled herself into the seat, Lera had reached across, nearly slapping Aries face with her hand in an effort to turn Aries’ face to face her own. Grasping onto the woman’s cheek, Lera planted a firm kiss upon the cop’s lips, held it for a moment, before pulling away with a silly grin, “Take me to your place.” She purred.

A smile came across Aries face and she bit her bottom lip as she watched the woman make her way to the car, there was a fire in the detective's eyes that made it clear she was hungry for the woman before her, she wanted her more then anything at the moment. When the woman got into the car Aries flicked her cigarette then got into the drivers seat. Before Aries could even start the car she found herself being kissed by the woman next to her. The silly grin on the woman's face after she kissed Aries only made Aries smile and when she was told to take the woman home she bit her bottom lip again, "Sure thing beautiful" ,Aries said in response before starting the car and driving off.

When she arrived at her apartment complex she parked in her designated spot and turned off the car but before getting out Aries reached over and placed her hand on the woman's face, turning her to face her before kissing her passionately while she ran her fingers down her neck gently. After a few moments Aries broke the kiss then looked into the woman's eyes, "You know you still haven't told me your name hon" ,she stated, "Come on let's get inside".

Aries opened her car door and lead the way up to her apartment. It was a studio apartment but it was huge and Aries had nearly everything anyone could want or need inside. There were a few things here and there that made the place slightly messy, a lot of her friends joked about how manly her apartment was but Aries liked things just the way they were and wouldn't change them for anyone even if that meant a few jokes about her here and there.

As soon as the door was shut and locked Aries began to unbutton her shirt as she leaned against the kitchen counter motioning for the woman to come to her. A look of complete desire on her face, yes she wanted this woman, she wanted to feel close to someone even if it was just for a night. With work and all the bullshit that came with it Aries never had time for a relationship and even if she did she had way too many enemies and putting someone else in danger was just something she didn't want to do.

The second kiss left her breathless, which honestly Lera almost never felt. She was a killer; very few things shocked or excited her anymore. And while sitting in the passenger seat during the drive to Aries’ apartment, Lera felt like she was buzzing, she was excited, but she felt like her mind, her heart were moving at a million times the already million synapses a minute. But more importantly Lera was horny.

Lera was drunk and horny.

And that was all she really needed to be to blindly follow the woman up to her apartment. Too apathetic to even bother to be in shock that a woman like that, was found in one hell hole of a bar. “Lera. My mother liked short names; I thought she was just lazy.” The woman chuckled slightly her lips curving in a small smile at the idea. Out of all the names her mother had once told her she could’ve been named, they picked ‘Lera’, the shortest. A lot of kids made fun of it, it wasn’t a common name to give a girl, and if they ended up liking it, half of them ended up pronouncing it wrong, which really just rubbed Lera the wrong way. “Lair-uh” not “Lur-uh”.

But it wasn’t as if that affected her future outlook on people or anything…

Lera followed suit, removing her tank top in one foul swoop, she wasn’t ashamed of her body or even the least bit insecure – the alcohol helped with that. But rather than go to Aries, the woman hopped upon the kitchen counter aside the other woman, allowing her legs to dangle off the side. Grasping gently at Aries’s shoulder, Lera maneuvered the woman between her legs, before gingerly wrapping her legs around Aries’ midsection “C’mhere…” She mumbled softly her arms mimicking her legs, resting gently upon Aries’ shoulders. “Now are you gonna return the favor? Or am I just gonna fuck you as a stranger?”

That was the gist of all Lera’s fucks. On a normal basis she never gave out her first name, normally it was something like “Janet” or “Jane” easy to memorize, hard to trace, and difficult to even care about when the person woke up in the morning and found that “Jane” had fled the apartment before the sun could even manage to come up. Not once in her life did Lera fuck for something meaningful, she wasn’t sure what she even cared about anymore aside from her own life. Her apartment could burn down to ashes the next day and Lera would simply move on. She held no worldly possession that she valued – and sex was like any item she owned. It could be given, taken, shared, and Lera’s outlook on it would hardly falter.

But there was one…

Even drunk, Lera’s face remained impassive as her mind raced. She had been in lust before – not love, lust. It was a long lasted lust she’d have to admit, but they meshed. It was with a man, Lera didn’t distinguish gender when it came to sex, but she saw him for over a year. He begged her to go out with him after the second night they had sex – Lera just though the gesture was due to the fact that perhaps the blowjob she gave him was a little too good, after all, the last thing she needed was a needy partner. She avoided his calls for two weeks – but soon he met at her apartment and they continued to have sex. He pressed her for more than just ‘meaningless sex’, and honestly, Lera could never explain to herself why she kept wanting to see him, even though every time he asked her, her answer to him was a flat out ‘no’. It was obvious as to how that part of Lera’s story ended. After a year of asking her, and asking her – no, he didn’t find someone new, there were still decent men in the world – he passed away. Lera had been dealt the unusually cruel card of having the first person who showed a direct interest in her, pass away.

But she wasn’t here to recall sad lovers, or to bring up sad memories, because quite frankly those memories triggered the itch to kill, and Lera had satiated that need for nearly the week, but she hadn’t been laid in months. She was here to focus on the beauty in front of her, and focus she did. She placed another kiss upon the woman’s lips, before reaching out, her thumbs resting upon Aries’ eyelids, closing the woman’s eyes temporary as she littered her face with softly fluttering kisses. “Tonight your mine.” She murmured softly without even allowing her lips to leave Aries’ skin as she spoke. The kisses trailed in a counterclockwise circle, starting from Aries’ lips to her cheek, to her forehead, nose, other cheek, chin, and then began to trail downwards. Lera moved her way down the cop’s neck, nipping and sucking, lapping at the salty skin, all the while her arms, withdrew from her shoulders to drop down, cupping the woman’s breasts, squeezing the tender flesh with skilled hands. She contemplated giving the woman a hickey, but perhaps ‘possession’ was a bit much for a one night stand…

[Sorry if this is riddiled with grammatical errors and the whatnot, it's seven here, and my body did not want to sleep more than an hour last night, so I'm working on very little sleep. ;; ]

When the woman took off her tank top Aries did all she could to not tackle her to the floor and top her, she was used to being on top with most of the women she brought home but those encounters never lasted long usually the woman would cum within a few minutes and it'd be over. This woman was different, Aries wanted to make it last and actually be satisfied for once the woman was far from selfish but she needed to feel good too. "Lera" ,Aries began. "A beautiful name for a beautiful woman, my name's Aries" ,she told the woman as she let her move her. Standing there with Lera's legs wrapped around her she let the woman kiss and touch her and it felt damn good too.

After a few moments Aries opened her eyes to look at Lera while the woman squeezed at her breasts, she was breathing heavy now and her body was heating up, she wanted Lera more then anything and she was going to show her that. "I'll be yours tonight and any other night you want me" ,Aries told her before running her hands up the woman's thighs and crashing her lips against hers. Aries then broke the kiss and got to work on Lera's neck she was a bit rougher with Lera then the woman had been with her but Aries couldn't help it, that was just how she fucked. She kissed and bit as her hands moved up slightly to claw at the woman's back.

"Let's move this to somewhere more comfortable to start off" ,Aries began before biting on Lera's ear softly. "We can fuck in here later". A devious little laugh escaped her lips right before she lifted the woman off of the counter and carried her towards the bed. Aries was definitely a strong woman and Lera was easy to carry and she liked that. When Aries reached the bed she threw Lera down on it then removed her own shirt completely before climbing on top of her. Aries kissed her again before whispering in her ear, "I'm going to make you cum so hard Lera, more then once if you'll let me" ,she purred biting down on her ear again before working her way up and down Lera's neck yet again.

Any night she wanted her huh? Had Lera been a little less drunk she probably would’ve ran the moment Aries’ said that, Lera was like any other red blooded, non-decent man – commitment scared the fuck out of her, even if it was just a commitment to sex. But Lera rolled with it; she allowed a small humming noise to resonate in her throat recognizing she heard Aries as she leaned into the woman’s rougher ministrations.

What. Where was she... -

Before Lera could even realize it, she found herself grasping into Aries’ shoulders, she wasn’t prepared to be carried by the woman but it wasn’t as if she struggled much either. Lera, at least in her own eyes was nowhere near thin, she was slender yes, but who could blame her? Sometimes after a kill, the last thing Lera thought about were meals – and if she killed more than one person a day? A glass of brandy would suffice for a meal.

Lera couldn’t help but allow a small chuckle to escape her lips as she landed upon the bed. “This needs to go too.” Lear muttered softly her hands reaching around Aries’ allowing the woman to do as she pleased, while Lera unhooked the woman’s bra. She wanted to expose as much flesh as possible, whether it was to run her fingertips across it or her lips. There were always pros and cons to being with a woman over a man and vice versa. But when it came to a woman, there was just something just plain ‘fucking majestic’ about women.

And fuck, they were soft.

“I’ll allow you to do that, on one condition.” Lera’s hands fingertips drummed down Aries’ sides, sliding down her waist, and to the woman’s hips, stopping at the hem of her pants. “Maybe two conditions.” Lera’s fingertips fumbled blindly with the button of the woman’s pants, all the while struggling, from her position, to remove Aries’ pants, “These have to go. And I get to return the favor. Deal?” She purred nipping at Aries’ her fingers working nimbly and blindly at the other woman’s garments.

A small laugh escaped Aries' lips when Lera said her bra needed to go too and she then assisted the woman in taking it off before it was thrown to the floor. Damn, this woman was making Aries feel things she didn't think possible and the detective was loving every minute of it. Aries looked down into Lera's eyes as the woman trailed her hands down to her hips, "Oh you can definitely return the favor but you have to let me please you first" ,Aries stated before reaching down to help Lera. Within seconds Aries' pants and underwear were thrown to the floor and she was back to kissing the woman roughly on the lips.

After a few moments Aries broke the kiss and looked down at Lera, "I think the rest of your clothes should go too" ,she stated before biting down on Lera's ear. She then kissed her way down the woman's body as her hands grasped at the woman's pants, when she reached Lera's waist she swiftly pulled off both her pants and underwear in one quick motion before throwing the garments to the floor.

A smirk came across Aries' face as she looked up into Lera's eyes for a moment before leaning down and running her tongue over the woman's clit in a teasing way. She laughed softly against her flesh before beginning to kiss her thighs, making sure not to touch her where she wanted just yet.

[Sorry about the late response. I should be glad my new boss really likes me and wants me to work - all the fuckin' time.. But still. Yeah, my apologies.]

This wasn't normal for Lera, sure, she had forced women to go down on her, to pleasure her - to please her, to obey her every whim, but to have a woman do it willingly threw Lera off her game. She wanted to complain, but what woman in her right mind would complain about receiving pleasure? So she kept her mouth shut and sealed.

Lera shuddered slightly at her ear being bit, she wouldn't admit it but it was one of her weaker areas. There was just something about having one's ears bit that just caused Lera to go weak in the knees - luckily, she wasn't standing. But before she could notice it, the woman's garments and undergarments were removed - it was obvious to Lera that at one point, she wasn't too sure if it was presently, this woman was well versed with the 'routine' of the bedroom.

Groaning softly, Lera's legs parted slightly making extra room for Aries to slid between. Lera's breath came out in small pants, she was more sensitive than she would've liked to admit, but then again she hadn't had sex in months. Okay - she did, but what Lera's mind considered 'fucking' and 'good sex' were two different things.

And the woman on top of her, Lera was classifying as 'good sex'.

Tossing her head back slightly Lera let out a small muffled sigh, "I haven't had good sex in months," she slurred slightly, "Don't tease me." Lera added with a hiss. "Begging isn't something I do, and isn't something I plan to do. If you keep teasing me I'll be forced to flip you onto your back - and give you a taste of your own medicine." It was amazing that Lera could coherently dirty talk but had the conversation been about something 'normal', Lera would've trailed off to the unknown.

That just gave you a clue about what she was more comfortable talking about. Lera wasn't comfortable talking about herself, sharing stories (at least stories that she hadn't shared a million times in practice) - but telling others what she wanted, how she wanted to feel - and the dirty things she was going to do to them, now that was easy.
