Valentine's Day: The best of/worst of

Valentine's Day is the WORST day of the year for me. No matter what relationship I've been something ALWAAAAAAAAAAAYS goes wrong.

So I hate it :/

"Valentine's Day"? Bah. February 14th was Lunar New Year, man! Nothing like a giant platter of Dim Sum to welcome the Year of the Tiger...

Usually (as with this year), we celebrate Valentine's Day on a different day than everybody else, so we can eat clearance-sale candy and go to the sushi restaurant when it isn't packed with fucking lovebirds. All the fucking pecking and chirping and two-hour waits for their birdie asses to clear out... The day changes every year for us. It's usually somewhere in February, though.

I don't think I've ever had a Valentine's Day that was absolutely awful, but I was certainly much more cynical about it in high school.
