Bio: All throughout high school Kara was made fun of for being smart and short..she had natural beauty and the more popular girls always called her ugly because they were jealous of her beauty. She had one best friend throughout high school (your character) He would always defend Kara and stand up for her.
Starter:
She could remember it like it was just yesterday. She could remember her best and worst days of high school..but more importantly she remembered her best friend. He was always there for her no matter what, when girls would call he ugly he'd step in and reassure her that she was fine just the way she was. When guys would make fun of her being short he'd step in and remind her that taller girls scare most guys. Whenever people called her a nerd he'd step in and remind her that they'd be working for her someday..and every time he defended her..she'd fall in love with him just a little bit more. The only problem was he didn't feel the same way she did. She just knew it. He was always around with some girl normally a bimbo to stupid to think for herself. Mostly there for just sex. There was one girl in particular that she could remember her best friend being serious about. Her name was Ashley Kiser. She was 18 and gorgeous, not all of her beauty was natural and she was incredibly mean to Kara all the time except for when he was around..Ashley was the perfect woman. Had the body the boobs the butt the blonde hair she had it all.
Kara was nothing compared to her. At the time she was unshapely and had long stringy hair and she had small boobs and barely any butt. So it was no surprise that he sought after Ashley more than Kara. But after a year of dating Ashley cheated on him with one of his teammates. It broke his heart. Kara was there for him the whole time..and the whole time he didn't see that the girl that once loved him was right in front of him just waiting for him to notice it. After a few months into Senior year he seemed like he wanted nothing to do with her..and that hurt her more than anything. So after graduation she moved all the way to New York and escaped Washington. She attended Pratt Institute and became a design engineer. After only two months of studying there she met her fiance Ryland. After making some new friends she changed her look. She cut her long stringy hair and her hair came down to a little below her shoulders she wore foundation and only a swipe of mascara. As she spent more time with Ryland and his friends and their girlfriends she began to learn tips on how to fill her body out better. After her first year she had totally changed.
But that was so long ago and now Ryland wanted to make her his wife. After 6 years of dating with no sex making Kara a virgin up until the time they were to go honeymooning. They were finally going to tie the knot. And it was only two weeks away. She decided to invite her best friend because she wanted to see him again. She figured he hadn't moved out of Washington since he was such a family oriented person. So she sent her invite the week before and now here she was waiting for him to join her in the small cafe on sunday morning. The rain was falling. She wondered if she was ready to face the guy that had broken her heart numerous times and didn't even know it. She wondered how he would feel about seeing her get married after being the butt of everyone's bullying and torment. Kara had really grown up and matured and developed into a nice young woman. Smart as a whip and Beautiful too.
