Atlas

Atlas is sitting at a table in the inn with Tobias they are enjoying a small meal and drink together talking about their travels that day.

Cyr Arclight

Cyr smiled as he entered the small inn with a sigh as he saw the farmers in from the long day his eyes stopping at a oddity in the town, a strange otter man as well as a wolf man. Cyr should not have judged being a fox himself, but he could not help it not one to meet many outsides despite his ambitions. Wordlessly with a strange glee to his step he moved in front of the bar chatting softly with the barkeep.

The sky outside roared softly with the promise of coming rain, the sky dark with heavy cloud cover hiding the moon from view. It was a peaceful day in the city, which seemed fitting to the small rural lifestyle of the area.

Tobias finishing his diner and drink, giving a stretch in his chair. Looking around at all the people in the inn a warm smile spreads on his face

Atlas looks up after putting his bowl down. Giving his companion a smile,
"Penny for your thoughts my dear Toi." Atlas says to Tobias warmly.

"Oh nothing, I was just wondering if you would like to take a walk around before we retire to our room." Tobias says with a slight blush on his muzzle from hearing his friend calling him by that particular nick name.

Atlas takes one last gulp from his glass. getting up from his seat and straightening his tunic. Tobias places a few coins on the table for the meal and the gratuity.

"Where are you going to get this penny you speak of?" Tobias asks Atlas with a grin

"Oh, I was going to borrow it from you." Atlas replied quickly

The two of them headed out side the inn for a quick walk in pre evening air.

Cyr turned his head listening to the words of the two strangers smiling lightly at their jesting with each other it seemed nice having even the strangers in the area be of particular good spirits as he moved up stairs with quick long strides moving around people with ease trying to avoid bumping into others. The only noise anyone made to him movement is the women who cried out as in two steps Cyr stepped up onto a window ledge, and out into the chill night air, breathing the crisp scent in deeply as he started to follow the strangers interested in what the two were up to.

He had to admit he found it odd two males were so familiar with each other wondering if it was a far off custom for males to be paired with each other. Cyr started to scratch at his neck his eyes following on the younger otter's strange collar. He found it a particular interest as he moved with short quick steps though the new roof made a lot of noise, and with so few out at night his shadow dancing across the ground made any hope of stealth a joke at it's finest. The fox did not seem interested in more than following the two for now as if shadowing the two for some odd reason.

As the wolf and otter walk along the inn’s outer structure, Tobias hears the noise coming from above them. Leaning a bit closer to Atlas, “Do you hear that” Tobias asks with a whisper.
Atlas wraps his arm around Tobias’s shoulder, casually looking around and giving a sniff to the night air. His eyes slowly scanning the cloud filled sky, Atlas smiles to his friend. “I am sure it is nothing Tobias,” Atlas says calmly as he looks up into the sky, “It could just be the sound of nature getting ready to rain.” Atlas’s eyes scan the sky some more, finally his gaze comes to the roof of the inn. “Or, it could be the fox on the roof”

Both wolf and otter stop, Tobias looking up at the fox that Atlas has spotted. Tobias steps slightly behind Atlas, never taking his eyes off the fox. Atlas clears his throat and speaks calmly and clearly, “Good evening sir, do you require any assistance?”

Cyr looked at the two wondering to himself as he started to judge them his mind racing through everything he could tell about them, from the way one whispered as he seemed to shy back behind the other. He even considered how friendly the Otter was being then by instinct more than instinct started to use his power. There was no being immune to the effects however they were no real change, and could be noticed by those who were aware of themselves. Cyr could not even tell if the emotions he touched would do anything some people put of a convincing show he knew. First he targeted the Wolf dulling the fear he thought the young one felt then strengthened curiosity. The Otter who seemed friendly already he simply pushed on trust to make sure he stayed friendly. Cyr did this out of hand without thinking how some would take it all before smiling softly letting his teeth show a little, but not in threat then just watched the two as if trying to find something in the two. He let his muscles loosen as he crouched down steadying himself with the palms of his hands crouching low in the shadows wondering to himself if talking to them was a good idea or not.
